4221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are mixers necessary? on: August 10, 2020, 10:41:30 PM
In general mixers clone the initial transaction to ensure privacy, making tracing really difficult but not impossible.
Yes, we can say it was pseudo-anonymous and we can ensure privacy with it and it is certainly impossible to trace which hands it goes provided that you use those legit mixers ( a lot of fake mixers out there).

This is also a reason why some illegalities find it unnoticed and scammers will use Bitcoin mixers for they know that they aren't traceable and yeah, it works. Living to that purpose, it comes into the point that mixers also allowing such action because they never know where it is coming and never ask by then. That is how Bitcoin mixers it serves.
4222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC Times: A new Bitcoin News Site on: August 10, 2020, 02:41:01 PM
May we judge this site as another market drama or another artwork that will only spread bad news to the people because it is new. Yeah, the artwork is really good to see and could actually give attractions to the reader, pretty impressive but it will not get into the point that we can easily trust this site at all. They should not just have to look good only at the outside because people are very considerate to know what is in the inside and how they deliver news to the community. If they are true with their commitment to being a good source of Bitcoin news, maybe people would think about this as a reliable one.
4223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 09, 2020, 11:23:42 PM
The thing is that it is quite difficult to predict bitcoin's price accurately continuously. This is why many people in crypto market face losses.
There are some traders who do make good profits so I wouldn't say one is better than the other between holding and trading.
Both have their own pros n coins. I do swing trading sometimes but at the end it's holding that I would prefer.
The sudden pumps in bitcoin are what turns our portfolio upwards.
With these differences, it comes out that not all people have come into crypto will have their good times nor to have their bad times as well. That is life, we can't be all of the same places, some have been comfortable in crypto while the others are not. The same thing how the price move, we can't be confident that the current momentum will stay until the end of this year, and not we even know that it falls back below $10k. We are just assuming the market that it will be fined in the next days but the reality is that, we are not and we are truly afraid that it drops again.

This is how we called it volatility risk but somehow, it gives us a way to become proftible. But I was not a kind of person to hold 3, 5, 10 years...it was not my preference. And I take every opportunity to sell some of my Bitcoins when I saw some profit on it.
4224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 09, 2020, 10:46:19 PM
I trusted and invested ETH since 2017 and I tried TRX for a quiet sometimes but not I really confident with it. That's served me an option not to take TRX anymore but to stick with ETH or either to choose different coin/s other than TRX.

Of course, we have different market insights but can't deny that ETH will take the lead among the competition, and no wonder why it looks like that because we already know how potential it was than the others. We think not just today and just because TRX has a huge pump but we are considering how it sustains for a long-term development which we could see that ETH has it.
4225  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Binance Trading Bot on Telegram | Coinguru on: August 09, 2020, 10:16:41 PM
You can't make people to easily give trust with this. Yes, Binance has its name but there are lots of people who would like to take advantage of such popularity to scam innocent people. That is why the community is very vigilant when it comes to this and they should have to know their assurance first than anything. But if you can show some proof about how reliable is this, then might it helps to change their mind and have their trust and confidence with this bot.

But anyway, it was you telling us that you are still in the testing phase, its either you'll succeed or not, or you'll find it ineffective. People will wait for the final stage and then assess how this bot will work into trading, then that's the time to have the decision.
4226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on new ATH on: August 09, 2020, 02:10:17 PM
The new coming ATH is really intense to see nor it was excited and probably no one knows when. I should think about more on the realistic and achievable, and $25k is not really that far for the next Bullrun after $20k ATH last 2017. But even though we can't predict the market flows but I was not thinking that we got that point this year. This year is really a big challenge for crypto and also with the global market, we have those positive insights last year as seeing that halving will give a huge impact on the market but badly we got this pandemic that it affects the momentum. However, we also notified that the crypto market won't let that bad aura puts its declining sentiment but rather to see it move a little bit far.
4227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 08, 2020, 11:52:25 PM
Even though the crypto market was able to recover quickly during this time of the pandemic it still won't be able to hit the prices you mention about 25K, 33k, 50k, 100k or say the target achievement is 25k this year which I'm sure won't happen this year or at the end of this year. If the crypto market recovery can continue to be good towards the end of the year then a bigger pump is likely to occur in the following year which is the prediction of the bullrun market.
I'm excited to see how the market behaves next year, one year from halving. I'd never disclosed such magic coz everything could be possible but this year 2020, I agree with you that it never looks like that. Maybe we are lucky if we can reach and hold that $15k this December because we know the pandemic crisis, it hugely affects the global market and it holds people not to spend their money in investing and buying Bitcoin. Even though we can't assure that it will finally be gone next year but hearing those vaccines coming it's likely to inspire us to see this over.
4228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: in any whale or top trader here? on: August 08, 2020, 11:14:49 PM
is any top trader or good whale here??

i need someone who knows market good that he can tell me when to buy and when to sell.
i can pay but you need to be best and i need also someone who can tell me early before any big pumps might coming.

That would take time and doubtful to make it prioritize. But I suggest not to ask whales instead, not actually they are helpless but couldn't think how they set up a trap for newcomers. Would like it happens to you? I assume you do not want it to happen.

Anyway, nobody could tell you a perfect time to buy and sell our holding because nobody knows exactly when does the market pump or when it dumps. It is just your decision, by simply taking a look into the market situation you can certainly decide if you'd like to sell it or just buy. It is much better to observe the market bahavior and do market your own analysis rather than asking people that thing because they are also acting differently and that might not agree with you.
4229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do exchanges get away with faking trade volume? on: August 08, 2020, 03:29:24 PM
...
And then other exchanges blatantly misreport their trading volume as much higher than it actually is.
It was a big attraction for any exchanges. Huge trading volume exchanges are what traders had looking at this time and it is very unfortunate how these exchanger's owners want to take that opportunity and to lie people around. It is to imagine how money works, paid those reviews just to be good to look at but behind that reviews, it finds different from the actual scenario. That is why I don't rely on reviews but rather to try and to find out.

Sure forex has their own share of scam platforms but in my opinion it is way too easy to set up an crypto exchange without worrying about the legal aspects. There should be more scrutiny and regulation around exchanges.
Well, that regulation will give some help to stop these fake volume and illegalities but I don't know how it affects the market reputation since almost all exchangers do that, even those reputable exchanges may have that kind of troubles.
4230  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with crypto market? on: August 08, 2020, 02:52:34 PM
People are much aware about the project where they will invest or not. They are able to identify the real and scam project as well. Obviously people will invest if they find good potential project. Otherwise there is no benefit to invest on every project.
This is true that people are already aware of the project and even more becomes wiser before investing in a project. Since a lot of scam surrounds in crypto industry it brought a lessons to them whether will invest or not. It is our due diligence prior investing is to verify if it's legit so we can avoid minimal risks and losing money in this industry. Some project are promising with potential and some are not so we have to be more careful in choosing one.
Learning means a lot in today's situation. Nothing has to be a victim of scam if we don't let that thing to happen. It finds more tricky the market today as many attractive promises that are worthless but can't deny that many were still been fooled with this.

Even though we spread awareness to the forum, into the community but sometimes it was just useless.
"I was scam, they scammed me" a bunch of complaint to heard but they aren't still learning. They obviously greedy people who can be easy to trick and listen to this broken promises.
4231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 07, 2020, 11:39:25 PM
I don't agree to say that "MOST PEOPLE". One or two persons leave bitcoin because they think about it is a scam that never represents the whole community that it will think the same. Besides, if we can see the number of crypto users and holders, definitely you can tell that more people had come into Bitcoin rather than to see them leaving.

Saying that this Bitcoin is a scam is just an assumption because they are a victim into scamming but that is their fault instead and not because of Bitcoin but because they are greedy to be fooled into scammer's trick.
4232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 07, 2020, 11:04:15 PM

Do you think that scams harm Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' reputation in the mainstream world? What will it take for people to distance scams from Bitcoin itself? Thoughts? Huh
Its a big denial to say that people might ignore that, all they heard and see in the news will give them some hints to be careful in investing crypto and might also drive into doubtful minds. But for those who really believe Bitcoin and crypto will never think about it instead, they keep investing as they know that these hacking events is already a part of our life even outside crypto. We all can be possible a target to these hackers but if we anticipated it first (as most people did) they never succeed.
4233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what new coins are promising? on: August 07, 2020, 03:18:37 PM
hey guys, i have been holding since 1Q2017, and pretty much closed my eyes on crypto since the huge crash.
i see its getting back on its feet slowly, just been wondering are there any new coins that are looking good and promising. i could dyor them but it would take at least a week Smiley

thanks!
It is better to look back of what you are holding since 2017 because it might be one of them that you have been looking for. And talking about new promising coins, it is sorry but most likely you miss it again and I suggest not to chase it coz you will only hardly find on it. Because if you can take a look into the market, only those old and potential top listed coins having its surge, not all.

But anyway, there is no wrong in trying. Might be lucky with you if you can find one among the hundred of new coins in the market.
By the way OP, I would like to know what you are holding?
4234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention for bounty work on: August 07, 2020, 01:27:52 PM
It is possible that we've all(or almost) been a victim to these bounties, scam, broken promises, or anything we called about bounty. But from that, we also learn, may the others have stick to bounty because that is their choice and they might also think that they'll have luck in the next round...who knows. Maybe there is another 2017 Bullrun that most bounty hunters benefited from it. But actually, they are wrong with that and I'd never think that the coming years will be a good year for bounties, instead, I saw a worse case possible.
4235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 07, 2020, 12:28:34 PM
Yeah influencer just want views, hits, upvotes...

A lot of YouTube videos on cryptocurrency are designed to be clickbait in nature. They can be good for perceiving someone's sentiment but I'd draw the line there...
because they look attractive and seem to be real but in the end, it was only a smart trick for a newbie. But I believe that not all influencers will look bad nor a cause of every mistake that these newcomers had made, they're might more but not all IMO.

It only that people must have to know more about what they have represented with these influencers. Because in that way we can identify who really they are and know the possible outcome for this. Don't let them trick us even though we are new to crypto, it is all we have to be knowledgeable enough.
4236  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you learn so you never get affected by a economic crises ? on: August 06, 2020, 11:25:48 PM
The reason why we have this new technology, AI, robots, or whatever it is just too simplified human workloads, not to make us human beings become obsolete and no used at all.

The video sounded like a harsh end story of our life but I don't believe it was true. Human creation has its purpose and so these technologies. It is to accept that robots can perform 24/7 more than a human being can do but that is not the thing that should cause us to become obsolete in the future. AI and these robots could only be obsolete as people will make another technology again more useful than this.
4237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scamming as an option/Advice to scammers on: August 06, 2020, 10:37:03 PM
Quote
For scammers, it's never too late, start somewhere and be sure that  you've got a lot of helping hands here. Get yourself a some models, study them, get motivated and inspired and your sure to improve in every aspect of your finance and life. Put in work!
Stay safe

This part I quoted where you give scammers a good advice of what they can do for a better life you be another heading on this post. So that scammers can easily find an advice that could make them change to live a better life. Other than killing people with scams.

But I'd never think if they will listen to this or make their life to change. Because what I believe is that scammers will live scammers until they will caught by the authorities but since they didn't get into jail it surely they will still scam innocent people.

However, it was their choice to be like that and what OP stated because of many reasons. They know that scamming will can make them become an instant millionaire and that gives them motivation but they never realize what would be their possible ends.
4238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make `Trading` profitable? on: August 05, 2020, 11:20:34 PM
Honestly if there was one way to do that it would have been awesome but there is so many ways and sometimes they are all wrong and sometimes they are all right sometimes some of them are wrong and others are right and the other days the wrong ones becomes right and the right ones becomes wrong.
Often to see it wrong because of its volatility and not all the time the market will be in favor to us. We can't be of that perfection even though we spend the whole day analyzing the market and there is no such tool to work also.

So, there is really no way that people could know exactly how to make money...
Some people are wrong about considering trading as a money generator and take profit on it but they never quite instead the keep trying and finally make it right. Trading won't just easily work but having more experience will gladly enhance our capability and this is only a tool to make trading completely profitable.
4239  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can someone help a noob with an Electrum problem on: August 05, 2020, 10:33:09 PM
I don't see the cancel button once it is already hit the send button. Because in the first place, it was ask there to check the address and a non-reversible transaction warning. However, it is to understand that it wasn't clear with you that thing and can possibly cause you to get a mistake since you are a newbie. But to be sure what is really happening with that TX, better to post the TX ID so we/someone could take a look at it and sees where it goes or it is still unconfirmed that is why it never arrived at your wallet. That is also a common thing it happens this time especially when you are just paying small sats on it.
