4221  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 12, 2020, 10:03:22 AM
Great news today: "us pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German biotech firm BioNTech have announced that their coronavirus vaccine is more than 90% effective in preventing Covid-19 among those who have no evidence of previous infection."
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/09/covid-vaccine-pfizer-drug-is-more-than-90percent-effective-in-preventing-infection.html#close

And we see an instant reaction of the market to such a statement.
What will happen to bitcoin in this case?

Well hope that once this vaccine comes to market and starts healing infected people the market will continue react positively and not bounced back again.

There are speculation that once the virus Gets in the market will fell down so i hope this is not what we are facing after this good news from Pfizer .

That is just great.

Their product just skyrocketed after that, proves that it is promising and would start the end of the worst year, which is this year. I don't think that Bitcoin will be affected by this demand, all we know is that the price is sticking to $15K and it might stick in there or be that way before the year ended, hope it lasts until next year.
Damn price 15k usd?where on earth that each government will get that amount just to Help their people increase the recovered and then partially killed the virus?

This is too expensive i think and maybe there will be a price adjustment depend on volume that will be purchased.
4222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 12, 2020, 09:33:55 AM
I will choose ETH every time mate I mean look at 2.0 Even though it has been long still I think is really doing good plus all the defi dapps which cash doenst have Is your choice but right now ETH is the top altcoin and is really creating a huge momentum
What is 2.0 to give you against Bitcoin?are you sure that Ethereum will Go mooning after the final release?or even sooner after?
But i support your choice as EThereum is much awaited and truthful that this Bitcoincash in which shill and forked from bitcoin.
we dont need it either since we have Bitcoin to support us.
Ethereum platform is very attractive to new projects and there are so many users comparing to BCH that the main supporter is His owner and the shill around this.
If I have excess money, I will choose ETH than Bitcoin cash. For me both of them are good especially in long term investment. The reason why I like ETH is because of its DNA where its price can increase high when the momentum turns on. I just do not like bitcoin cash maybe because I have losses their before but it is still my investment and it is the reason why for me ETH is more good than BCH.
So you are being Bias in your choice lol,but yeah i support Ethereum more than other coins specially against Bitcoin Cash that has been shilling for long now and doing their best to bring Bitcoin down.
So i think why would someone need to compare these 2 when the answer is already clear and that Is majority of us are longing to Have ETH than BCH and we cannot blame people as they or better say WE have already making money in this coin for how many times, while BCH have not get thru my Wallet or i never bought this.
4223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will YFI go down again? on: November 11, 2020, 06:53:50 AM
Hey, I was wondering if it's a good time to invest in YFIDOWN since it's 2 dollars and a week ago it was 24. Thanks!
It's your prerogative mate but me?yeah I invested small amount as the price is going deeper now and this is the best chance to accumulated  this pump and dump currency so by any chance that this goes back in activity then at least I have some profit.

And besides this is too cheap now to prevent as investment materials right?

Buy small part and let it stay in your wallet for long .
4224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 11, 2020, 06:37:18 AM
If you are not in a Hurry?then yes Bitcoin is worth the risk, the only problem we may have is when we are investing money from our budget to buy foods

Honestly, if you have a "budget" for food, you should stay away from investment into crypto. The price may go up or crap back down below $7k taking your money with it. Overall long term, Bitcoin should keep going up unless something else replaces it but it takes a lot of time. This is an excellent investment to throw a small some slice for retirement. Most who try to use this to try to make a quick buck or two will fail due to the volatility.
Well that's what I've said literally in my post about not investing the money that reserves for our food as this is real risky and you may lose everything in a glimpse of an eye.
Like what happen recently when the covid19 took over the market and drops the value of all coins more than 50% and people lose their money from that.
The daily chart shows you have missed the train already but it is very likely that btc will be above 17k because it is very near target if I compare it with the support at @13700. All traders who are fomo'ing in this market shows that we are in for some huge price action and if a drop happens, it will be bigger than the pump. So they keep on buying and the whales too are eating up some high volume sell candles.
Train will always run forward the problem is it won't bring us profit at some point, so better that we are in right timing like now.

Buy now or regret later ,that's what holders suppose to say.
4225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 10, 2020, 07:17:03 AM
they don't need to be "crypto friendly" so I will surprise if a big change will happens. Ross Ulbricht condone? it seems something more probably, but I am pretty sure nothing will change even with a new president/administration.
What Made sure mate that nothing will change even if there is a new administration?i know that Trump is openly hating or not believing Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but what about if Biden replaced him soon?
maybe at least there will be a change that may come right?

Anyway it is early to predict mate because there was not even a conceding happening up to Now even that electoral votes favored Biden already.
4226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: November 10, 2020, 07:07:33 AM
Everything about crypto has been 100% in my Family's Knowledge meaning anything that to me all of those assets will be on their hands and may consider investing still or withdrawing since all of my coins are mostly in Top ranks so at any time they can convert into fiat once they decide not to stay in crypto world.
100%, have instructions and keys in my safety deposit box for my family.

Anxioq
+1 and same here.
4227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 10, 2020, 06:55:50 AM
In the process of trying to be a future whales you could lost everything, trust me this got me no where and I realized that I've lost tons of money because I was never contented, be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say 'im gonna be rich in 3 years later' this is 1% out of 100% chance that it's ever going to happen, remember, been rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living a good life is.

I do not understand the problem you tried to share here about what made you lost money. Was it that you lost your investment to scammers or that your wallet was hacked or that you bought tokens at ICO that did not list? Generally what I have realised is that crypto business is not a 100% guarantee to become rich. It is a luck and coincident thing to get a token which can make you money. It takes time ti become rich.
Sure that he tried to gain higher than what expected in each investment or trading that he does so the outcome is losing instead of gaining.
This is the problem if you are not contented in what you are gaining each trade and instead of selling what you are doing is keeping the currencies thinking that this will go up more and more.
Until ending that it will fell against your will,Just please be aware that 20-30 % is too much income each time so try to take out and re invest again .
4228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 10, 2020, 06:29:23 AM
when do you think is the next crypto bull run?
well do you pretend losing memory or this just survey from whale lol hahah
I look at the same here mate, how i wish he had put a Survey form for us to answer Because the way he put this thread seems like stupidity.
Quote
the anticipated bull run are doing the same like the cycle before or there are change fundamental when this happen again
Well many of us believes that this happens every 4 years and the patter has been proven for the last 2 halving we had.
Quote
we are just prepare for waves and not to lose everything what we have on alt market
Holding is still the best weapon now,at least Buy some coins that will make surely pump in the next months to come like top 5 currencies .
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Lottery Winner Losers on: November 10, 2020, 05:54:13 AM
Who knows when that big shot will fall for you, it will be a life changer if you know how to value the money.

There are people who keep losing each time they've tried their luck but for people who really determine they will not stop as long as there's money that they can spare, it will just a continuous cycle from time to time, either they died or they'll get the chance of winning the jackpot and enjoy the rest of their lives.
Relying on the chance that you might hit the big jackpot is a dangerous mindset that could rock your financial status into shambles. Lottery should be the most avoided game in my opinion because it does not have anything in it for you, even if it is for charity. A good amount of it will go to the pockets of individuals behind the operation.
Lol when we put our bet in gambling we are looking for a win of course so there is no wrong in relying to win but at least we are also ready to lose.

This mindset will save our asses from constant losses because we are aware of the other areas in what will happen to our activities in gambling.

But Lottery is really a rare to win gambling so i think Lets treat this as just fun activities than a life support.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 05:40:44 AM
Some of the Gambling casinos I've seen are requiring its user to conduct a KYC (not mandatory but they said there's a chance or something) however my concern is that the gambling casino is not licensed are you going to trust this or not? Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.
We have our own views in our gambling activities and also we must have preferations in each gaming.
if you think that this is not healthy then don't play n it and choose those sites taht you think your money is safe.
Because the problem is when you Hit the jackpot(though this is rarely to happen) at least you will get without issue and properly .
Maybe try to Check those sites that has been advertised here?
4231  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: November 10, 2020, 05:12:14 AM
The pandemic had been causing too much damage already so opening the economy and talking about damage does not really matters now. What matters the most is that how one can survive if economy will not be open especially the third world country like us. The government could no longer support on continuing to give the financial support.
lucky for those countries that opening now and they only need to do is help each other and start a new life slowly and make it better day by day.

But what about those countries that having a "second lockdown"?

Now they cannot move forward because of this situation and risking their starting future to be reset again.
4232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 10, 2020, 04:55:37 AM
Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam?
depend  on how you look and it and how you deal with them,if you are greed and not researching then this is all scam for you.
Quote
Many years before the Cryptocurrency was a scam for some people, later people said that ICOs are scam, when ICOs had gone and IEO had begun then they were blaming that IEOs are scam later now they are calming that DeFi is scam
This is what Human is,not contented and always looking for new and profitable.

4233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 09, 2020, 01:29:29 PM
It is really hard to think of a society without a fiat currency because we are living in a generation where we are used to paying with both fiat and digital currency. But if bitcoin was used in all of the transactions, then probably it will become the same as fiat, its volatility will not exist and it will just have a stable value. If it is the only thing that can be used for payment and there's no other option then bitcoin will not be the same as Gold that can be preserved its price. Bitcoin will be the fiat in that world and people will just look at it as normal money.
You're right. We can't imagine a world without fiat currency. Unthinkable to operate without Fiat. Bitcoin and all other currencies are not omnipresent. But Fiat is at a standstill everywhere. All the endeavors of daily existence, even bank transactions and the rest of the endeavor are performed by Fiat. Fiat is stable and must be used.
Well this will only in a short time but once people and the world adopted formally the online currencies like PayPal,Paymaya or even Cryptocurrencies?surely Fiat will gone and all the payments will be made via online then.
actually this may take time but in the end Online will won in this battle because we can see it now that most of us are looking to pay via electronic currencies than physical money.
4234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 09, 2020, 12:51:08 PM
The election is over, Trump had negative attitude towards bitcoin but what Biden's administration will bring to crypto. The fact that the Fed will continue printing $$ and new stimulus is coming is definitely good for bitcoin.
Never heard that president-elect Biden or someone from his camp made any public statement about bitcoin or crypto-technology, hopefully no tough regulations will be made.
This same question i have in mind mate, though it is trump being open not supporting Bitcoin yet i think that it is too early to talk or expect from the new administration.
but let us not lose hope that Biden administration will support and allow the use of crypto Specially bitcoin to lead the adoption worldwide at last.
And also will open many areas not just PayPal but Amazon as well to accept bitcoin directly.
As much i know their wont be much change in the bitcoin for US ya but it can be that he may give some soft norms on bitcoin usage but still will keep more regulation for the security of the users.
Security regulation is a must, but at least lessen the restrictions for the community.

4236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2020, 11:55:06 AM
I always think when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency and I've thought of several methods for choosing the right time to buy cryptocurrency, that is :
1. buy coin during ICO, IEO or STO;
lol this will end up your career trusting this scams  Grin
Quote
2. buy when the price down (dump);
if you knew when is the bottomline is,but at least buy when the market fell hard.
Quote
3. buy when the project has a good news;
Good news?what does it mean?
Quote
4. buy when the price starts to increase (pump);
this is similar to number 2 lol, buying when dump and when starting to rise up is the same.
Quote
5. buy when coin from the project listed on big exchange;
Though this is not 100% accurate but yeah better have them in popular and big exchange.
Quote
6. buy when the project already has a product.

This is what made many investors fail, when they are not certain in products.

4238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 09, 2020, 11:27:54 AM

Bitcoin has risen its price from the start, which was $0.08 per coin until now which is $14912.
today, I was reading a post on CoinBazar724.com which was directed from cointelegraph.com saying that BTC may reach to even $17k!!!

Do you think this is possible?
What made you think that this is impossible to happen?look at the recent pump that Bitcoin Hit $15,700+ in value so meaning that we are
moving closer to that $17,000 that you are asking.
and also remember that we are still in Halving year so many things may change overnight, try not to expect too much but at least look for positive things
Quote
since BTC is not remained too much, some people say it may even reach $100k!!
in this manner, do you think it is worth the risk to buy bitcoin?  Cry
If you are not in a Hurry?then yes Bitcoin is worth the risk, the only problem we may have is when we are investing money from our budget to buy foods
this will make us decide wrongly and may come to multiple losses.
Because the Great advise of all time is "Invest the amount you can afford to lose"
4239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 09, 2020, 11:03:51 AM
If we always put that in our mind, we will all losers in the long run.

Actually mate, it's okay to be ambitious sometimes as long as you know what you are doing.

As for me, I'm into sports betting and though I believe as a gambler that my consistency is not good enough yet, but I'm having fun trying to believe I can be successful in the long run, but of course, I'm learning every time and until now I'm enjoy what I'm doing though I lose money, can't deny that.
Well it is for a fact that you would always lose out in gambling in the long run. Nothing really false there, and it's not actually a loser's mindset since it's just a simple fact. Sure, there are some ways around this, one is simply betting so much, talking to the staff asking them to remove house edge to make you play more, and then make a comeback, but making a comeback itself is rather hard since you're still basically betting on luck.
and yeah expecting too much will always makes us a failure.

Look about many gamblers lose from their expectations,Remember that in Online Gambling specially in Sports betting that we must be a Sports fan and not just a gambler to win this area.
Quote
Gambling is a form of entertainment, it's like how gamers pay for games they enjoy, gamblers pay money to gamble because they enjoy it, simple as that. Absolutely no reason to think of it as a way to earn money. I mean, you could freely think so, but it's more like you're in a wild goosechase with victory in that case.
thats why i mentioned that to bet in sportsbet we must be a Sports fan more than just a gambler because at least we are being entertained while betting and not just the Pot is what we need but our favorite team to win also.

4240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any idea when the Bitcoin Mempool will stop being so congested? on: November 09, 2020, 10:50:38 AM
This has already happened repeatedly, and returned to normal. I put on average 30 sat/byte per transaction and wait from 4 hours to several days... By the way, I also consider this commission expensive! I'm sure that the network fees will soon return to normal values!
yeah but this year it started early mate,we have this problem since october or late september when in the past Bullrun of 2017 this comes when we are nearing the end of december(that is how i remember when withdrawing payments from my campaign that time).
According to Earn.com, the median transaction fee has fallen to 330 Sat/Byte, which is lower than what we had a few days back. But depending on the size of your transaction, you may end up paying anywhere from $2 to $10, if you want a quick confirmation. You can try your luck with lower amounts, but don't blame me in case your transaction gets stuck for 2-3 days.
That is still higher than what we have in the middle of the year.
