Well, Awesomeminer doesn't use SSH to get access to the miner's information, but since you said


You can simply unlock SSH access either by downgrading to an old bitmain firmware or even better use BraiinOS and you will get complete access to SSH and use your Linux skills.


Since you can code, why not use Excel Import function, it basically scrape/import the miner's status page automatically something like this



You can even select which parts you want to import, in your case, temp and hashrate, and the cool thing about it is that it automatically scrapes the data for you, the minimum refresh time is 1 minute, which is good enough.

You do that by opening an excel sheet, hit Data > From Web

Form there all you need to do is give it the password and username for your miner, select what you want to import, adjust the refresh time and save it, you can have a different sheet for every miner, after having your data up-to-date in an excel sheet it's a matter of simple code in C# using OleDbConnection and query the information you need to your program, then maybe set some functions to check temps and hashrate and then using System.Net.Mail.MailMessage class you can code it to send you emails saying miner x's hashrate dropped or temp is over x.

There are a dozen things you can do with just an excel sheet and a few lines of code, I wish I have both the time and the mood to play with these things, I don't, so I use Awoesomeminer.  

احيانا نلاحظ انك تقوم بتحويل كمية بتكوين معينة وتدفع اكبر قدر من sats per bytes  ومع ذلك تنتظر لساعة او ساعات ولا تحصل على اي تأكيد, ولكن انت قرأت ان البلوك يحتاج 10 دقائق, لماذا ننتظر ساعة او نصف ساعة او اي وقت اخر؟؟

الاجابة البسيطة انه لايوجد اي شي يجعل زمن ايجاد البلوك 10 دقائق,!! لانه لايوجد "ساعة" مركزية تتحكم في ايجاد البلوك.

مبدئيا يجب ان نفهم الاتي:


عدد البلوكز (جمع بلوك) التي يمكن اياجدها في فترة معينة يتبع  "توزيع بواسون" Poisson distribution ولكن الزمن مابين البلوكز يتبع "التوزيع الاسي"  Exponential distribution

شرح مبسط:


لنقل ان فاتورة الهاتف الشهرية الخاصة بك المتوسط تكون في العادة 100 دقيقة ومعدل كل مكالمة دقيقة يعني 100 مكالمة (توزيع بواسون) ولكن لا يوجد وقت فاصل تابت بين مالكماتك, يعني يمكن تجري اليوم مكالمة واحدة وغدا 10 مكالمات وبعد غد لاتجري اي مكالمة واليوم التالي تجري 5 مكالمات (التوزيع الاسي) , ولكن في نهاية الشهر متوسط فاتورتك هوا 100 مكالمة, وفي نهاية السنة تكون قد استهلكت 1200 دقيقة ولكن لا يوجد وقت تابت بين المكالمات.

هدا تماما كيف تعمل البتكوين, طبعا الموضوع ليس عشوائي لهده الدرجة لانه بدراسة الاحتمالايات وتطبيق علم الإحصاء يمكننا فك الشفرة باستخدام معادلة بسيطة ( λ=1/600) من يحب الاحصاء يمكنه القراءة حول (دالة التوزيع التراكمي ) وان كنت لا تحب ذلك ( على الارجع   ) فقد قمت بتخليص الموضوع لك في جدول اكسل بسيط.




بالنظر للاعمدة من اليسار الى اليمين, العمود الاول يمثل الزمن بالدقائق, العمود التاني ايضا الزمن بالدقائق, العمود التالت هوا نسبة حدوث العمود الاول, الرابع هوا نسبة حدوث العمود التاني, الخامس هوا نسبة حدوث مابين العمود الاول والعمود التاني, العمود السادس هوا متوقع حصوله بعد عدد من البلوكز , والاخير نفس الذي قبله ولكن بالوقت.

مثلا نستتج الاتي من السطر التاني:

60.65% من البلوكز يتم ايجادها في 5 دقائق, 36.79% من البلوكز يتم ايجادها في 10 دقائق , 23.87% من البولكز يتم ايجادها مابين 5 الى 10 دقائق, تحدث هده "الحادثة" كل 4 بلوكز او كل 0.029 يوم.

بعض الاستنتاجات المهة:


- في كل 4.3 يوم بلوك واحد سيأخد 55 الى 60 دقيقة ليتم اياجده !  ( حظك نحس ان حاولت ارسال بتكوين في ذلك الوقت  )

-63.21% من البلوكز يتم ايجادها في اقل من 10 دقائق ( حظك ممتاز)

-كل شهر تقريبا بلوك واحد سيحتاج من 75 الى 80 دقيقة لايجاده ( حظك منيل بنيلة على قول اخوتنا المصرين)

-فقط %36.79 من البلوكز يتم ايجادها في 10 دقائق وليس كلها كما يعتقد البعض

-  كل 4.7 سنة بلوك سيحتاج ساعاتان لايجاده ( وصف الحظ مثروك لكم  )


طبعا ان قمت بتحويل بتكوين مثلا 50 مرة في الشهر, فمتوسط الوقت التي تحتاجه للتأكيدات سيكون 10 دقائق, لان نسبتك تصادمك بالنسب القليل ضعيف جدا.

ايضا عامل الحظ وتغير الهاش ريت له دور في دقة هده البيانات ولكنه يحتاج موضوع منفصل قد اقوم بكتابته ان وجدت ان هناك استفادة من هدا الموضوع اصلا.

Not really, it depends on their "reserves" and the fees they charge, if they only find a few blocks a year, it simply means they have to pay a very small amount of rewards based on the fact that they don't have many mines which is the reason for not finding blocks in the first place, so as long as their reserves and fees follow the formula above, they won't go "bankrupt in a week.".



F2pool has 2.5% and it's PPS+, they are the largest pool tho, which we should avoid giving them more "power".

Well before this topic gets moved to Altcoins mining, allow me to chime in with a bit of information.

What you doing here is really comparing apples to oranges, ASIC miners are noisy (not good for home use), they use more power and etc. but with all things equal and thus talking about fruits in general and not apples vs oranges my take on it is always stick to ASICs based on sha256 algorithm.

I can list a dozen reasons why BTC is better than almost other coins combined at least in terms of mining profitability, I will state one simple argument which is mining efficiency improvement in the future. 

With Sha256 miners, we have pretty much squeezed and close to fully utilize the available technologies, we are at 5nm, how more efficient can we go? take one of the latest Nvidia GPUs for an example RTX 2080 Ti, if I am not mistaken even that last generation is built on 12nm, in plain English, there is still a ton of ROOM for growth, which "devalues" your investments, and the same thing applies to non-sha256 gears.

In other words, it's pretty normal that we see Antminer L7 that is 3 times more efficient than L3++ next year, but very unlikely that we can have Antminer S21 that is even twice as efficient as the S19, the same thing goes to GPU based coins.

Add to that the obvious reasons of how bitcoin has a better rate of surviving crashes, hard to 51% attack, pretty secured and etc.

منذ حوالي سنة ( لااذكر تحديدا) وبحديث حول المحافظ, دخلت في نقاش مع الاخ omega حول محفظة Coinomi في كون الاصدار الاخير المحدث لم يصبح مفتوح المصدر, فحوى النقاش كان حول تبرير المشاريع المغلقة المصدر لعدم تعميم الكود الخاص بهم, او اخفاء اجزاء منهم اما في back-end او front-end والعذر هوا "الخوف من ايجاد ثغرات في الكود".

اعتقد اني اوضحت في وقتها ان هدا "العذر" منطقي جدا بالنسبة لي, فكل شي مفتوح المصدر يعثبر سلاح ذو حدين, فهوا يحميك من "مالك المحفظة او المنصة" ولكن يجعلك اكثر عرضة " للهاكرز",  ولايوجد اجابة مطلقة حول ايهما افضل, لانه يوجد قصة تانية من الطرفين وهي ان المصادر المفتوحة تتيح للمبرمجين التعاون في حماية الكود عبر اكتشاف ثغرات فيه وتصحيحها ( او استغلالها طبعا), والمصدر المغلق ايضا غير محمي 100% من الاختراق ولكنه فقط يكون اصعب في معظم الاحوال.

لذلك نظرا لانه لايوجد جواب لايهما افضل, فهده القاعدة التي طرحها هيوج تعتبر احد اهم النقاط التي يجب اخدها في الاعتبار

I just made a transaction from a native segwit address, paid 1 sat/WU or 2sat/B (however you like it) as was suggested by Coinomi wallet, got confirmed in 7 minutes, I could probably get away with 1 sat/B but I was kind of in a rush.

صحيح اخي ulven كل شي يتاثر مباشرة بالعرض والطلب, وحجة من يعتقد ان ال halving تاثيره ايجابي على السعر هي ان العرض سيقل, وهدا منطقي في حال كان العرض من العملات القديمة تابت او بمعنى اصح 0.

دعني اعطيك مثال بسيط:

تخيل ان الان يوجد 100 بتكوين , والانتاج اليومي من التعدين 10 بتكوين

يوميا 10 اشخاص يشترون 10 بتكوين (السعر تابت)
يوميا 11 شخص يشترون   11 بتكوين (السعر يرتفع في حال العرض تابت)
يوميا 11 شخص يشترون 11 بتكوين ( السعر تابت في حال العرض زاد من 10 الى 11)
يوميا 9 اشخاص يشتورن 9 بتكوين ( السعر تابت في حال العرض نقض من 10 الى 9)
يوميا 9 اشخاص يشترون 9 بتكوين ( السعر ينخفض في حال العرض 10 تابت)

بناء على هده الامثلة البسيطة, من وجهة نظركم ماهو اهم , الطلب ام العرض؟؟

ببساطة , الندرة لا تساوي شي ان لما يوازيها طلب من الجهة الاخرى, يمكن الان ان اقوم بانشاء عملة خاصة بي, وال max supply 1, لاحظ ان العرض عندي اقل بملاين المرات من البتكوين, هل سيقوم اي شخص بشراء عملتي ب 7000$ كما يشتري بتكوين التي عرضها بالاملاين ؟؟الاجابة لا!

لذلك لايكفي ان يقل العرض الجديد القادم من التعدين, يجب ان ينخفض العرض من المخزون القديم والاهم من ذلك هوا ان الطلب يجب ان يزيد ليزيد السعر. هدا من وجهة نظري فقط لا اكثر.

This means to run a PPS pool at 4% you need 1079 BTC in reserve for your chance of going bankrupt to be only 0.1%, and that is about 7 million dollars in bitcoin which many investors consider a risky asset, so really running a PPS pool is not an easy thing to do, I think F2pool has lower fees than viabtc, I have been planning on trying it, will probably switch some gears to that pool and compare.

في الواقع يوجد 3 وجهات نظر بهدا الخصوص

1- انخفاض العرض يزيد الطلب ويزيد السعر ( ارتفاع السر بعد ال halving)

2- ال halving يسبب انهيار في الهاش ريت مما يجعل العملة تمتلك اقل حماية واقل اقبال ( انخفاض السعر بعد ال halving)

3- لا تأثير يذكر لل halving على السعر لا صعودا ولا هبوطا.


انا اميل بنسبة كبيرة للنقطة رقم 3 لعدة اسباب, ابسطها يمكن في شرح شي حدث في الماضي القريب:

لقد مرت ايام قليلة على halving عملتي BCH و BSV هل زاد سعرهم؟ هل نقص؟ لم يحدث شي باستنناء النسق الطبيعي للسوق, فان كان الاتجاه صاعد ستصعد العملات وان كان هابط ستهبط, انا لا اعتقد ان تأثير ال halving في الفترة القريبة التي تأتي بعده مهمة, ربما يكون تأثيرها بسيط في المستقبل ولكن حتما ليس حتى ب 10% من الحجم التي يعتقده بعض الناس.

It is actually just one member who indirectly accused you of being a scammer, that member does the same thing to every developer because they don't release the code, which according to the license "must be sent when requested", but that is a whole different topic, the majority of users don't care about the code, they want something that it does what it claims.

I suggest no developer should take any criticism personally, go ahead and work on your projects, the community will most likely support any improvements done on the software side.

This will be off-topic, there are a dozen resources online about how PPS actually works, but I can tell you what I think you don't understand based on what you wrote.



It does not matter if the pool finds a block or not, as a miner that is none of your concern, you get paid for every accepted share even if the pool fails to find a block, in other words, every share has a "price", you submit the share you get paid regardless of anything else.


A share is a share, it doesn't matter how many you submit, the only problem would be the minimum payout, which is 0.001BTC for most PPS pools, or 4.5 days at current base, which actually is not that bad after all, pools like viabtc do PPS+, the block rewards are PPS and the block fees are based on PPLNS, and that comes at 4% pool fees which is quite high for some.
