At least there is some optimism coming from Stephen Espinoza, The head of Showtime Boxing “I think in most negotiations that go on for a while, they have a lifespan of ups and downs. I don’t think it’s dead or close to dead. I think there are points where things are moving more quickly, points where things are sort of stuck at an impasse. And we’re a little bit stuck, but I don’t think anyone is ready to throw in the towel, least of all the two fighters.”
https://www.boxingscene.com/showtime-head-optimistic-about-spence-crawford-i-think-anyone-ready-throw-towel--167980And as what we have been discussing for the past couple of days, maybe there were points that already been agree, like the purse split, Spence getting the big share as he is the A side on this fight because of his PPV numbers in his recent fight, or maybe the venue has been agreed upon. So let's still remain positive that time fight or at least the negotiations are still alive as per Showtime and they are working to have this fight made. This is bad news. They just said earlier that a deal is already very close. So the latest update of Showtime's Stephen Espinoza means the negotiations hit a stumbling block. So the fight is definitely not happening in August, October, and then November and I believe not even this year. It seems that Spence and even PBC and Showtime are stalling this in order to buy more time. So one year of inactivity and a 35-year-old Crawford is not enough for Spence to grow some balls? Fuck this, If I were Crawford I will start seeking the next best options and move on, he already mentioned it many years before that Spence will never fight him and so far it is true. I also have a feeling that it might not happen this year specially that we have heard about the October date or at least this is what they want to give us or something is really going on and negotiations is still moving. But with his recent statements, really hard to believed who is saying the truth. And I speculate that if the fight is not going to push, this 2022, Spence will move to 154 lbs, and that will be a bitch move from him.

So the Brooklyn Nets is demanding more returns on a KD trade not just because the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs received a lot of pieces from their Rudy Gobert and Dejounte Murray trades but because it is still hoping to keep Durant. But I don't think KD will want to stay in Brooklyn with Irving and Simmons. Brooklyn should prioritize trading these 2 drama queens and maybe KD will want to stay with them.
It's really hard to read what Nets plan is for now, it seems they are willing to let go of Durant and Irving but have to keep Simmons for now. Yes, the Nets are going to demand more returns for KD, if they are going to let go of him, for sure they will want to have at least a good returns. However, we still don't know what will be Durant's destination. Still a lot of complication that the Nets will have to iron out. And it's the Rudy Gobert affect as well, if he went out with 4 first-round picks and a pick swap, for sure Brooklyn wanted more in return.

And as expected, based on the odds of the fight, Danny Garcia dominated Benavidez in their match by majority decision, scores where: Judges Glenn Feldman (116-112) and Anthony Paolillo (117-111), while Waleska Roldan a draw (114-114).
The power though, it seems to me that Garcia doesn't have the power he has when he was the champion at 140 and 147 lbs. I guess moving up in weight, it diminishes. But if he ever faces a hard punching Charlo at I guess Danny doesn't have a chance.

Uggh. So annoying. I was looking forward to this fight and it was going to be shown for free on Dazn in the UK. I wonder what sort of financial hit Jake is taking on this? Pretty shitty and stupid of Hasim not have taken this fight seriously as he's going to lose the biggest paycheck of his career and now he looks like a coward who wanted to fight on his own terms and whatever weight he felt like.
I am quite certain that it will take some future financial hits for Jake Paul as a promoter. There might not be much other fighters who would be as excited to be in one of his cards. Those other boxers have also trained hard for August 6 and have also had their expenses paid for their training. I have a feeling though that this fight is still going to happen and it might have to be push through, just maybe a couple of weeks. Or maybe find a replacement fighter for Rahman? But if they fight is totally scraped for good then sure, it will have a financial toll on Jake Paul.

Kawawa talaga ang Nets dito, I mean sinugal nila lahat nung kunin nila is Durant at pagtapos ni Irving, then si Harden.
Ah ok so meron na talagang nilulutong bagong batas so tama talaga mga kutob natin.

Of course, we know what Ginebra is capable of, and that's what they did in game 2. And for sure majority here doesn't see that they are going to be eliminated. But they rise to the occasion again. So they will be the favorite in game 3 with the ML or even a handicap is not that bad to bet on them. And this is going to be another close game but maybe Ginebra has still something with them and win the decider.
But believed me, some of Ginebra fans are worried on that game. Meralco is keeping with the phase with Ginebra the whole game and there are lots of exchange leads. It's just that they fell short but overall, their game against Ginebra is a close one. This is a good series so far where both teams are almost equal and it now depends on players if they will have a bad night or not. For sure, Ginebra fans are worried when they lost the first game, and even in the second because Meralco keeps coming back. Hotshots and Road Warriors are in a very tight game right now, 78-77 in favor of Hotshots, closing in the 3rd quarter. This is going to be exciting, entering the 4th quarter now.

Yep, it's obvious that when there are less bitcoin in an exchange, the holders are not going to sell it. However, it doesn't translate that we will have a bull run since everyone is just holding. And we are in a bear market after all, no movement for all of us, we can see it as well in the trading volume. Or maybe I'm just old school, but as a practice, to really appreciate bitcoin, you must know how to do self-custody, learn how private key works, in short you will appreciate it more if you have it in your own wallet.

Injury is definitely one of the defining parts of basketball career of a player. Stockton was known for being an ironman, played for a decade without missing. Lebron is also on the path for something close, sure he missed some games or sit out some others but dude played for 20 years now, and still going on very strong without much detoriation. So all in all, if you get injuries, then you will not be that lucky to bounce back and have a great career after that.
Brandon Roy comes to mind as well, or Greg Oden who was one of the last few big men that played old school, after him, we started to slowly grow into smaller lineups and nobody like that ever succeeded again, even if they were good.
Yes, Oden was one, he was the top pick in 2007, even ahead of Durant, unfortunately, we didn't see how great he was as injuries really took him out of the NBA. As for Isiah Thomas, when he was in Boston and having a statistics that we haven't seen a while for a guy like him, he was really having a great season. But he was playing injured already. And as far as his revelation Celtics told him that it is not career threatening so he continue to play until he can't bear the pain anymore. And again, same thing happen, he wasn't able to recovered from his hip injuries and then got traded. He then blame the Celtics though, and him trusting their doctors and organization that he is still ok and just continue to play.

Sadly, it's a loss. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F1j9TSx0.png&t=663&c=2hmb9LQFDvl1Mw) Seems that the later WNBA matches are much more difficult to bet. Since obviously, that Moneyline is not worth picking, no choice but to bet on handicap. Most WNBA teams seem also not consistent in most cases wherein if they will show dominance tonight, the other night is worst and etc.
Looking at the gap in the current odds on the upcoming games later on which is posted above, is that how far the distance between teams in WNBA right now?
I want to see the next day's set of matches if the ML odds are still having that wide gap.
No, the games today are a good match. Washington Mystics vs Seattle Storm is playing while posting this reply. The score 46-45 and the spreads are just +0.5 and +1.5. The other game today is Atlanta Dream vs Dallas Wings and the spreads are also near at just -1.5 - +1.5 There are just weak teams like Orlando Magic in NBA that are being given higher spreads when clashing with a super team. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) But correct, the difficulty level to win is higher because of inconsistency. Correct danherbias07, I have been betting in WNBA prior to this thread, unfortunately, it was a very different league as the NBA as it was really hard to read as teams a very inconsistent. The last bet I won was Las Vegas Aces vs Los Angeles Sparks, under 162.5 final score 84-66. But then lost on Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings at under 173.5 in which the Wings won. However, both teams suddenly find their shooting range in the 3rd specially in the 4th quarter. So it's really very difficult to me, that was my experience in the first week that I bet on the tournament.

Been playing cards, heard some superstitions but actually never cross my mind that I should do this and do that for good or bad luck. I know that some gamblers are very superstitious, but I try to stir away from it because we do know that it won't affect the result of the next card that you will dealt with. And this superstitions can be sum up to being a "Gamblers Fallacy".

Brgy. Ginebra was able to cover their handicap of -2.5 @ 1.8. A good option compare to Moneyline @1.65 (although I don't know when was the time it was shifted and adjusted to @1.75). But seriously, the same handicap can almost cover too by Meralco as they literally take the game close with Ginebra the entire game. They are even up by a few points entering the 4Q.
I'm really sure Ginebra will take that game however Meralco is really playing at their best. It's like every possession should be worthy or else that will lead to the turning point of the game. Do-Or-Die next game and we should expect a close game. I'm sure the Moneyline odds for both teams aren't that gap next game.
The momentum now is on the Ginebra, we should not be afraid betting on them even if the odds will be higher than game 2. I'm thinking that if Ginebra will win, it should be a double digit win as Ginebra are good in closing game and Ginebra has a high win rate against Meralco. Of course, we know what Ginebra is capable of, and that's what they did in game 2. And for sure majority here doesn't see that they are going to be eliminated. But they rise to the occasion again. Bitcoin have already gotten to it's Top Rising Channel @$24k area and From my Analysis we are going for a Major Rally on Bitcoin and Stocks Market soon but before that, I think we can still see a Very Short-Term pull back to $22k -$21k maybe this week or next 2 to 4 days before a Big Bounce. Perhaps to $28k+ So in General, I think the Market will be Bullish for the next few weeks or month.
The way I see it, if we remain above $24k for the next 2 weeks, then I'm not seeing a pull back. On the contrary we might experience another push maybe as high as $28k again and could be in the bullish sentiments short term. The crypto market doesn't consider your bills or expenses it moves according to the wave of the trend. That aside hopes are we will be getting a rally soon enough but to how soon this will be still remains a big speculation but in the main while we will still have price dancing towards the bear market until they bears get exhausted and most likely August poses another potential bearish move
Of course, the market will move on it's natural course, doesn't take into considerations our plans like bills or expenses. It's up to us to adjust to it, not the other way around. And we have the make the best out of this circumstances to be able to survived this bear market.

I guess your concern is genuine, but you have to think about it, will criminals used it when they know that it is psuedo anonymous, they can still be track by government? or just fiat, "cash is the king" philosophy? I guess those you describe as very smart and they know what there choices should be. Opportunities is still there, bitcoin is still fairly young as compared to stocks and other traditional financial markets. And with that said, this is the perfect opportunity, even if the price is around $20k, this is still at a discount and maybe in the next bull run, we might it at least $100k, just saying.

Well I have to break this news to all Filipinos out there, we have a new champion in Dave Apolinario. Filipino Dave "Dobermann" Apolinario (17-0, 12 KO's) goes to East London, South Africa and knocks out Gideon Buthelezi (23-6) in the opening round for a KO-1 victory to claim the vacant IBO flyweight title https://twitter.com/TimBoxeo/status/1553073773473054721It was a first round knock out, so proud to hear that at least we have a champion. For sure the future looks very bright for the Dave and hopefully he will continue the torch for Philippine boxing.

Is IEO still alive in 2022? Lol, I thought everyone is no longer or at least the majority is looking for other investment method this year.
But as what others have said, maybe they are still alive, but I doubt that they will have the hype hype as around 2018-2019. We already have so many new investment thingy right now like NFT that many investors are no longer like wanted to be an angel investor on IEO. And I haven't heard of any top tier exchanges that their launchpad is still alive to support this projects.

But could anyone confirm the bear market is over? By what I mean is that is the price not going to drop below 17K anymore?
When the speculators published some postsaboutBTC going below $17k weeks ago, there must have been holders dumping in anticipation of that next support to break. 6 Weeks of uptrend seem a go signal to buy for me.
I think to be able to say that we are out of the bear market, we need some validations, maybe in the range of $40k-$50k. At least that is more than 50% of the lower low of $17k. So it's a long way to go for us, we barely made it to $25k in this last small runs in the last week or so. And we can say that we are still not out of the woods yet, we need to progress more to the price that I mentioned. So we will have to wait and see, we still have 5 months to improved the price.

Here is the final weigh in, both makes the desired weight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jOehy73TD8Garcia - 152¾ lbs Benavidez - 153¾ lbs Danny Garcia is still the huge favorite in this fight. I will not be surprised if he wins by a late stoppage or even with a knock out win. His left is still will be his favorite go to weapons. And winner of this fight will probably continue with this journey. While the loser will obviously have a hard time getting into the scene again.

There is no harm in trying anyway. If the warriors bite, then it is all good. And if not, well he can try fishing if another team will bite. And if all fails, he still has player options in 2023-24 season. Luck favors the bold and he is testing it. I wish that's the case, trying to secure good pay so that if ever no team will pick him up he got lots of money in his pocket already. That had been the case in the past few years, always about the money being secured, they all want it max and free for an option to be traded. As I checked different NBA-related pages on Facebook, most of the discussions were about the loyalty of players. Dirk, Kobe, Steph, and other players. But some have their opinions like "fuck loyalty", it's a different era now and money will always win. Dirk was offered $92M by the Lakers and Rockets but stayed with the Mavs for a 3-year contract of just $25M way back 2014. I do agree we are in a different era now, players can demand, and they are in total control of their destiny regardless of what contract they have. Kyrie has a way to get from contracts, Simmons doesn't want to play and so he is traded. And now Durant showing intention that he wanted to get out of Nets despite the money they offer him. As much as we wanted players like Green to have loyalty with the Warriors since they drafted him and it's the team that he won his championship, making his name. But sooner or later he will probably leave to chase bigger money. It's no longer about the championship or the ring, he already had 4. Now it's about money for him and retire with a lot of it.

I have added a poll for you guys to vote on this fight. Although this is not as huge as Lopez other fight, this is going to be an intriguing match because as you guys have said, this is Lopez first test in this new weight division. And he could give a impressive showing here, then give it as a signal that he is back and then will go to "Takeover" this division. And for those who are not aware of his condition in the George Kambosos fight: According to Lopez's medical records, the 24-year-old former undisputed champion was diagnosed with "pneumomediastinum" with "extensive air in the retropharyngeal space" by emergency room doctors during his postfight visit to Bellevue Hospital.
"The air was surrounding his chest wall and his heart and his neck -- places where air is not supposed to be," said Dahl, who worked as a ringside physician for the New York State Athletic Commission. "If he was hit in the neck or the chest -- a certain way, in a certain place -- he could have developed a pneumothorax [collapsed lung]. ... He would have instantly been down and unable to breathe and needing a chest tube." https://www.espn.ph/boxing/story/_/id/32785972/doctor-says-teofimo-lopez-lucky-not-dead-boxer-found-fought-air-chest
