Update on Adrien Broner's fight with Omar Figueroa. There was an online press conference for their August 20 fight. But AB talked for just a few minutes and then left. Here is what About Billions said before disconnecting himself. 

“I ain’t with none of this shit they got going on,” proclaimed Broner. “I feel like Al Haymon and Steven Espinoza is bullshitting because why is we doing a press conference on a computer? They don’t do Floyd’s shit on no fucking computer when he fights a YouTuber. They don’t do nobody else’s shit on the computer, but they want to do my shit on the computer – so that’s telling me they don’t give a fuck about me. So when you say fuck me, it’s fuck y’all. And at the end of the day, that’s what I really just came here to let y’all know. Anybody can see it. At this point, y’all just bullshitting. Y’all’s been supposed to make this fight. Broner was obviously not happy with Showtime and Al Haymon for setting that conference online instead of a face-to-face with a live audience and press. He felt disrespected. Come on PBC and Showtime! The Problem is ready with his costume and then you told him that the press conference will happen online?

Although I'm disappointed with the news that Manny Pacquiao will come out of retirement by participating in an exhibition match, that's his life.

As a fan of Manny, just it's pretty disappointing to see him on the bandwagon on what Floyd has started for retired boxers. But we have to understand where Manny is coming from.

Well, I agree with both of you that it's really disappointing that someone who has said that he's retired for good, can't stand up to his words. But  I guess this is really all about the pay that he can get.

If there's a big offer to him and he can't decline, he'll take it.

He has spent that much money and he has to make money again and this usually is the mindset of the rich people including him, that when they have spent that much, they have to recover it in some ways that they can while they can.

Manny spent a lot of money when he runs for the presidency, it's time to get earn big money again, and I think he deserves to enjoy the exhibition fights since he is a legend, and for sure many fighters will like to fight with him and earn millions of dollars. Mayweather vs Pacman 2 in an exhibition fight, I think that's a good one, but hopefully, the split would be even.

We can't question Manny because he's now out of politics and he needs to make money again after losing the presidential election. There are really retirement announcements that could be broken for some reasons. Manny actually told everyone multiple times that he would have his last match but still had more. I guess as long as Manny still has the stamina to fight, he will never stop having matches.

I hope that Manny can take action, boxing really needs a boxer as iconic as him, above all I would like him to have that great well-deserved rematch with Mayweather, that for me that fight was very unfair, and something controversial where there is many things that were not clear to me, and where clearly the judges seemed to me to be very biased, perhaps at that time it was convenient for him to win and not a Filipino, because to speak truthfully, what Mayweather did was run around the ring and get behind each technical gesture taking advantage of his height, which is not very pleasant.Although I think the only thing these two can do for now is exhibition fights.

^^I agree, Garcia was one of the best welterweight in his prime, become a champion and if I'm not mistaken, lost the belt to Spence. So we will see both fighters that I would say still have some in their tank in 154 lbs specially for Danny "Swift" Garcia who is going up in another division to maybe chase another belt. I think though he bet Porter, he has really very choosy on that fight, not letting his hands go but when he does, it usually was in target. But we all know how Porter his, swarming his opponents and then throwing volume punches and that is enough for the judges to give him a close win. So hopefully Garcia again can renew his career at this division. I don't like his Father though, him and Teo Sr.

True. He loses the advantage at 140 in going up 154. His loses comes from the remarkable fighters which he really is good at 140. It might be different this time with 154 but he still have the advantage since Benavidez has a knee injury which is a bit of a disadvantage climbing at 154. Makes sense for Garcia to move to superwelther though.

For me, Kownacki VS Demirezen is a more interesting fight than the main event.

Funny Broner as usual. But he's got a point though. Even with Covid, actual face-to-face press conferences are happening like Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serano, Canelo-Bivol, and Shakur-Valdez. Maybe PBC and Showtime consider this fight as not-so-big of a fight that is why there was no face-to-face press conference. Broner can relax and still wear his press conference outfit though during fight week. I'm watching this fight and I hope it's still entertaining.

I'm watching this fight too. Both are inactive. Benavidez fought last year but was clearly out of his prime after a 3-year layoff. He barely made it a draw against a nobody. Danny Garcia is also inactive for more than a year but I expect him to be more fresher than Benavidez. I felt bad for Benavidez career. He used to be a very very promising prospect. I don't know how it was possible but he did turn professional when he was only 17 years old. Maybe it was his ego and his lifestyle that he failed to become a world champion. Or maybe he would've become a world champion if he was with PBC during his 20s. Too bad he was with Top Rank together with the boogeyman. Terrence Crawford mercilessly annihilated him into oblivion.

I'm surprised Kownacki is fighting someone with a good record after his back-to-back knockout losses. This should be a good one with both men can knockout each other.

Oh! sorry, I haven't noticed your post, but I have added the whole fight event if anyone is interested because I am also interested in seeing Adam Kownacki VS Ali Eren Demirezen fight because after Adam Kownacki lost to Robert Helenius last year he recovered from the 2 consecutive lost he attained, and Demirezen is quite the guy with a great record,

And Jose Benavidez Jr. to Terence Crawford, with a TKO win, I think he really needs to pull himself up but I guess Benevidez Jr. for me needs more experience in fighting well-known guys, but surely this is a kind of bout I am interested to watch,

Garcia has big fights in Barclays and he has the support of the Puerto Rican boxing fans. Nevertheless, he will be up against one of the best underrated puncher in Benadivez Jr so we will see who will get it first, his left hook or Benavidez Jr straight right.

So Ryan needs to go down to 135 lbs since his last 2 fights where in the limit of 140 lbs. For sure he can still make this weight and schedule the fight this December or early next year so that we will see who is the best in the 135 lbs and then Garcia can move on to 140 lbs if he wanted to.

Going down in weight is very much easy for Garcia, I think he can make it.

The problem is with the network, both are in the two opposing, DAZN and Showtime, and according to Oscar they could make the fight happen if both of this two network are willing. But it seems that for now Showtime doesn't like the idea or maybe even DAZN. So we will see how Oscar and Floyd are going to work this one out for the fans.

I think the kid will make his weight there is still plenty of time to prepare but he needs a good nutritionist to lose weight, it is easy for a boxer to lose weight but to gain weight is a different story well this is just my opinion regarding the fact, I know that there would be some that will say it is easy to gain weight than to lose it aswell, well it will surely depend on the person's metabolism and the case of Ryan Garcia he is really skinny and I think he has difficulty in gaining weight, for this fight, I think I like Gervonta Davis Jr, to win this but still, Garcia can always come on top,

In my assessment of the video, Danny Garcia's smiling may indicate that he is nervous, and the way he does such things maybe him nervous or I could be wrong because it indicates two emotions, excitement, and nervousness, while Jose Benevidez Jr.'s smiles an evil grin, he surely is calm and collected and really focus on the fight ahead, for this fight I see Benevidez in a different perspective but Danny Garcia is a heavy favorite,
