I started a month or two back so I dont mind.
Lol, you started off over 11 Months ago

And This totally makes sense. But As a user I never look at Rank.I do over 150activities post..
You can go ahead and have activity of 1000 with the newbie rank but In a few years, you will start realizing how important a rank is. Posting those spam bounty links isn't worth it in the long run. Build your account and learn more about bitcoin, blockchain, wallets, trading etc
4262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't Look For Better Prices in Exchanges on: December 15, 2019, 10:55:23 AM
Bottom line... Avoid all the unpopular exchanges whose daily trade volume is exaggerated on CMC. It's just bots doing wash trading.
One such exchange that does such is Digifinex, avoid it at all costs.
4263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What does it mean by [ANN]? on: December 15, 2019, 09:47:59 AM
ANN and announcement both are same. People are very lazy so they have trouble writing the whole word. They have figured out a short form of it. Now everyone uses it.

I do not think that lazy because ANN means that when an update or new information is announced for announcement it is first communicated through ANN so that everyone can be aware of this information Able to get.
From what i know, ANNOUNCEMENT is just abbreviated as ANN because the title space has a limited amount of characters one has to use. Ir has nothung to do with Laziness.
4264  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account Nevsky on: December 14, 2019, 01:23:34 PM
I think you got a permanent ban.
And here are the reasons  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105163.msg53343124#msg53343124
Remember, moderators are always seen more than ordinary users.
It's quite weird thou, because of the message he received on his banned account.
Quote
"Sorry nevsky, you are banned from using this forum! For security, your account has been locked. Email locked...@bitcointalk.org"
Usually banned users who try to appeal bans ranging from spamming, plagiarism, ban evasion... get a ban message similar to this
"Sorry laylava.sted, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com"
4265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to export private keys from MEW 5 now ? on: December 13, 2019, 01:45:34 PM
why did they remove the ability to see the private key of the address you are currently working with??
I think it has something to do with security. Perhaps they are trying to force people to use more secure of accessing the wallet like using more sure ways like MEW connect, Hardware wallet or secure extensions like Metamask.
4266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptokicks- Nike on: December 13, 2019, 12:38:15 PM
Basically Pmalek has explained it in simple terms.

It's so annoying that big companies like Nike make lots of losses due to copycats counterfeiting their products and what's even more annoying to customers is one trying to spend lots of money thinking they are buying some genuine Nike Air Max shoes only to realize that they are fake.

So using Blockchain as a solution to fight fakes is kinda awesome

Also, what will this mean for crypto industry?
It's a move in the right direction but i don't think it's a big deal thou.
4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to export private keys from MEW 5 now ? on: December 13, 2019, 12:30:34 PM
You can use MyCrypto wallet to access you private keys. It's trustable and open source(actually part of the team was from MyEtherwallet) They have both the web version and app but i would recommend the app version. The Mnemonic Phrase is usually for HD accounts (meaning you have so many Private keys under one wallet)
So you will have to choose the particular wallet address you want to extract the Private Key from.

1.  Visit https://mycrypto.com/account (Be very alert on phishing  addresses) or download their desktop app https://download.mycrypto.com/

2. Open the app when your PC is offline and select the Mnemonic phrase option below on the home screen

3. Enter your mnemonic phrase and the preferred password (optional) and click on "Choose Address"

4. Select the address you would like to Open then click on the "unlock" button below

5. Inside your account go to the Select box with a drop down menu and click on "Wallet Info"

6. You will be able to see your private key for the address. You will also be able to print the QR code for the address and private key

Keep us update if it helps  Wink

Honestly this makes no sense at all.
Bitcoin hasn't even been massively adopted across the world but here we are getting excited about Planet to Planet electronic cash system  Roll Eyes

Comeback and tell me this news when
- We have Enough nodes throughout Africa and Asia
- There are humans staying in other "Planets"

Folks, lets stop the stupid hypes and focus on reality.
4270  Other / Meta / Re: Readdit Karma whores=Bitcointalk merit whores :) on: December 12, 2019, 01:21:36 PM
What would be the purpose of the thread?
Ridicule certain folks? Make fun of them? Discourage them from posting?

To me i think it isn't necessary. It will only bring more grudges/drama which isn't good for the community. Usually when someone re posts content. They are  informed that there is another existing similar thread which i personally think is enough  Wink

GOAL! Dortmund 2-1 Slavia Prague.

Dortmund has gotten their lead back again. The goal saw them move to second position 2 points above Inter . It's quite unfortunate for Inter. Barcelona won't let them win 😞
Inter just had 3 disallowed goals in the match on grounds of being offside  Grin, To make matters worse Ansu Fati scored a late goal to give Barcelona the lead.
How unlucky for Inter!

Congratulation on achieving 1000 merits which is pretty hard compared to getting activity points in my opinion. Honestly i don't know if i can even ever make it there (1000 earned merits)... Maybe in 2-3 years according to the pace am receiving them right now  Cheesy
Your journey is inspiring.
4273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 10, 2019, 08:45:30 PM
Liverpool just waited for them to run out of steam & then went for the kill. I can see them coming very close in this competition again, maybe even winning it. They’re just too good, they always find a way.
Attempting to win a back to back CL while also trying to keep at the top of the EPL will be another story to talk about> For =now lets watch how LFC will get through the upcoming busiest period for them.
The first team is excellent but am still not confident about their squad depth... Maybe they will prove me wrong.
4274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 10, 2019, 08:16:32 PM
I wasn't following Bundesliga lately but when i checked the table today. I was quite surprised on seeing Bayern Munich's current position on the table  Grin

I wish this continues to happen and another team wins the league this time round, it had become so boring Bayern munich winning the league without any serious challengers.
4275  Economy / Reputation / Re: @EMEKA OKOLI using someone elses work for contest (possibly sold account) on: December 10, 2019, 07:37:17 PM
I hope the person who runs the Roobet contest gets to see this and the un honest participant doesn't stand a chance to win anything.

Font face and font size that are used are also the same, maybe they use the same template or indeed they are the same person
If it was the same person, then i wonder why they had to use a different profile for submission.
4276  Economy / Reputation / Re: 0.212 bitcoin Youtube/FanArt contest 🔥 Bitsler.com Birthday! on: December 10, 2019, 10:08:50 AM
At the end of the day, they are the sponsors of the contest, so they have the choice to pick whichever entry they felt pleased them... You can't do anything about that.

If you have ever participated in contents then you should be well aware that not every body will win the prize. No need to waste time complaining because it still won't change who the winners were.
4277  Economy / Reputation / Re: P2PB2B - resolving "scam alerts" and misunderstandings on: December 09, 2019, 05:24:04 PM
I am not saying to allow everyone with a negative trust to join the campaign. There are many accounts that have red trust from users who have not been in this forum for a long time and the situation cannot be explained. There are also accounts that have red trust just for asking for the price of the account during the auction. And from many other trivial situations. I think they are not scammers and they should always have a chance. Of course, I am against accepting typical and proven scammers.

Ps. Talking about trading accounts, or my trust is not for this thread, so please leave it.
Bottom line is nobody is going to trust a negative tagged account and in most cases whatever it advertised and individuals with trusted accounts would be reluctant to join for fear of risking losing reputation. So the effect would be  negative rather than positive.

Nobody talked about trading accounts just as yet.

4278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 09, 2019, 04:32:46 PM
Does anyone care about the West Ham vs Arsenal game today? I haven't seen a single comment about it  Cheesy

I took West Ham ML and added it to a three team parlay. I feel like West Ham have a pretty good chance to beat an out of form Arsenal tonight, plus i couldn't resist the odds at 9/4. Tbh, it's pretty risky to back either team to win since they've been pretty shit lately, but watching Arsenal HQ in chaos is pretty amusing so...
They are a Small team now. If there fans gave up on them, that means there will not be so much talk about them  Grin
Personally i think arsenal might lose tonight again. West Ham United may have been performing poorly in the recent times but it's a London derby and they come alive sometimes.

It looks like so many people will get this week at least with the freebets. As for me, it was one of my worst game weeks  Grin
It's only Shelvey that i picked right so far.
