No, it won't. Edit: excluding myself from the list doesn't seem to work. I add "~kuusj98" in that text-box, click on the button, page refreshes and nothing changed.

Wrong. He is not obliged to spend the money on the forum. He can spend it however he wants, he can even shut down the forum.

If there is need for a local mod. Mitchell became mod by PMing theymos. sometimes it's just because a certain person has expressed an interest in moderating the board (either by their actions, or by "applying"), etc..

Report as many posts as you can. If there is a need of a staff, you will be choosen as patroller at first, most probably. Then you may get promoted as mod of a board. For local boards, PM theymos. He may make you one if there is a need for one. Edit: From above link, Good report history, posts and actions that show you understand forum policy, activity (and when you are active could also play a part in it, mods at certain times could be more needed than others), etc. Being a good poster or trustworthy doesn't mean one would make a good moderator.
Finding mods for foreign language boards presents unique challenges, so there's no real set way to go about that. Sometimes it's by polls, sometimes it's just because a certain person has expressed an interest in moderating the board (either by their actions, or by "applying"), etc. It tends to be a more community driven decision, because acting like you know someone because you used google translate on their posts is dumb (though foreign language mods do need to be able to communicate with us in english).

Actually, when I was new to BTC, I was very curious in doing new things all the time, and so I also tested such txns, in which in one TXN I sent 0.0001 to one address without fee and 0.0001 with 0.00002 fee to another, the one with the fee was confirmed way before the one sent without fee, I have deleted the key of that address as I don't use it anymore, instead I would have shown you the TXNs...

Don't mind but the guy (your friend) who sent you 0.0001 must be crazy as it's considered as medium priority providing fees itself, and sending such a small amount, he should have at least added some fee like 0.00002 so that it could have confirmed till now.
0.0001 BTC/1000 bytes are considered high priority not normal. The amount you suggested him will also take a lot of time, it will most probably have very low priority. -MZ |
