4261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a "private" currency? on: August 27, 2018, 12:26:12 PM

I think it is wrong to call bitcoin a "private" currency.

On the contrary, imo bitcoin is much more of a public currency that any national currency is.

bitcoin is a private currency as its ownership and controll lies mainly one the miner cartels tht run it.

especially the huge ones like bitmain.
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / steemit around 6 times as actively used cryptocurrency as bitcoin on: August 27, 2018, 10:48:08 AM
did you realise that by now steemit has 1.2 million daily transactions while bitcoin doesnt even has 200k per day?

for a currency that wants to be the worlds currency thats quite bad.

bitcoin is in general not at rank one regarding the activity.

http://blocktivity.info/

and it will get worse as soon as the us dollar is gone.

bitcoin becomes the currency of the speculators and the hodler sect

4263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what people don't get is that after donald trump jr they are going after ivanka on: August 27, 2018, 09:24:30 AM
i honestly dont care about trump or his family, they have put themselves into high publicity to earn more money and be richer. they have now consequences from that, why does now everyone has to suffer, protecting them?

trumps can abandon publicity and live somewhere else. its their greed that holds them there. and its their greed that prevents them to leave. they successfully can hide that in front of other people. so those people still care about them.

leftists suck as well they also wont be successful in the long run.

4264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can a pastor become a politician without lying? on: August 27, 2018, 09:19:02 AM
Absolutely not because it is not advisable for Christians to become involved with politics. Politicians? They lie... They are corrupt. Even a pastor can be tempted because he's just a human. Humans make mistake.

being a christian must truly suck, i mean there are those kings and queens ruling over the sheep. and in absence of politicians. they are being abused by their lords. they only are allowed to live like selfreproducing robots.

lol.

no wonder someone created islam with the message dont serve anyone but got. this must have truly pissed of the christian ruling lords.

thats why there were crusades.

today i understand islam finally.

of course the american government sides with islamists, i am afraid today they think like communists, they dont care whats going on in the middle east so they place these ideologic hostile powerhouses. there. world is still so idiotic thinking the us government seeks to improve the situation for all and accept the crappy us dollar. bigger problem is that in truth the us government doesnt seek the wellbeing of its own citizens anymore, but the bankster financial elite is just serving themselves.

4272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela, a fable about socialism. Part 1/2 on: August 26, 2018, 01:23:27 PM
The only time socialism has ever worked is if you restrict it to a very small group or tribe. (Like the amish who I believe limit each group to about 250 people)

Every time its tried on a mass scale it ends in abject failure because its based on the idea that everyone is looking out for the group as a whole. That is never going to happen when millions of people are involved it goes against basic human nature.

But people are too stupid to learn from the past.

nope socialism fails because a small group (central banksters) is pretending it looks for the whole group while secretly enriches itself, at the expense of the group they controll.

why does socialism rises in the first place then? you want to live in presocialist aristocratic russia?

seriously who would want to live in presocialist aristocratic russia instead of socialist russia. except those that are massivly brainwashed with religion, or the ex russian nobility.

and aristocratic russia had the highest food security of all monarchic aristocratic capitalist societies on the entire eurasian and african continent and still communism broke out there.

i dont say socialism is perfect, but i say that there could be much worse forms of capitalism that you are experiencing in venezuela right now, like for example zimbabwe, india, etc.
4273  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mexican pursuing Colombians...Are hatred and fear leading people?? on: August 24, 2018, 08:06:07 PM
Not sure I understood you 100% but are you sure this is a race thing and not just a turf war between rival cartels or gangs? Mexican cartel members will kill anyone who is in direct competition with them regardless of race. I'm sure the bigger killers of Mexicans in Mexico are just other Mexican gang members but they will treat rival Colombian cartels just the same. It's an absolute bloodbath in some of the cartel run parts as they're all vying for business and turf and it's even spilling into some of the once popular tourist destinations there which isn't going to be great for their economy.

Regardless of that, racism and xenophobia are as old as mankind and it is never just a black and white thing (both literally and figuratively). Some people just fear strangers or outsiders, but xenophobia does actually have some basis in evolutionary biology and long ago there were evolutionary benefits to distrust strangers or those 'different' from you just like wild animals distrust other wild animals even of the same species. There's really no way to know whether a stranger is a fend or foe initially but being naive and trusting of strangers was a quick way to get yourself beaten, robbed, killed, or if you're an animal; eaten. Obviously we've moved on from the cavemen and wild west days but some people sadly still have a caveman mentality. With that being said, most people still won't just let a random stranger into their house and some people will go even further and just distrust certain people because of their race.

I think that the root of racism these days though is just misplaced anger and hatred. You will usually find that the vast majority of racists are uneducated lower/working classes and are angry about their shitty life and they need somebody to blame but deep down they hate themselves the most. They're sadly too stupid to look in the mirror and see that the only person they need to blame for their shitty lives is themselves but it's easier to blame others and immigrants or someone of a different race are a very easy target for them. They often believe in the propaganda that is spread due to ignorance like immigrants are all criminals, and are raping women and come over and 'tuk their jerbs' and so forth. This sort or rhetoric really is poison and it essentially got a president elected.

smart americans arent afraid if mexicans want their jobs.

the smart americans create jobs so they can take infinte mexican immigrants.

americans want the wall to prevent the usa becoming like mexico.
4274  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela, a fable about socialism. Part 1/2 on: August 24, 2018, 08:04:36 PM

a state consists of two things

a willing active and engaging population and a relatively passive government

in venezuela both parties dont trust each other and dont work with each other, but look for foreigners to help them. so its a form of a broken society.

a huge shame is that venezuelans power now crappy cryptocurrencies like dash with their lives....

Unfortunately, I do not say that it is the whole society. In Venezuela a saving Messiah is still waiting.

Someone external, come, solve problems, be fast, not cost them and in the end leave them better than they are now.

Everyone aspires for another to come and resolve, but never sacrifice anything.

If we can call that a failed state, well yes it is.

Neither the government is so bad, nor the opposition is so good, in the end, mediocrity is that Venezuela does not finish taking a course, whatever, but that generates at least the necessary calm for the country to develop.

the country is developed people have to run their economic infrastructure. foreigners dont do anything else but either. use the venezuelans as workers.

or just settle there and run their own economic output if the venezuelans dont support their currency or cant trust their banksters. to run their currency well then venezuela will be passivly ruled by a foreign country. same as it was with the russians and the us dollar when the soviet union collapsed.
4275  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela, a fable about socialism. Part 1/2 on: August 24, 2018, 07:37:28 PM
Irony? I'm going to tell you something, the Monopoly game, part of the principle that up to 8 players can play, and each one will receive 1500 units, and its equivalent must have the bank, so the game, in tickets, has a maximum equivalent of 24,000 units in different denominations. that game is sold in Venezuela for 20,000,000 Bs, so each unit that comes in the game is worth more than a bolivar, so it could be used as a currency in Venezuela.

4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Value based token ideas - let's build on: August 24, 2018, 07:21:10 PM
It is possible to build a dApp that holds ether in the contract address and the underlying tokens are valued based on the ETH balance.

With this in mind, I want to build projects that earn USD converted to ETH and dumped into the contract wallet as a truly decentralized profit share.

So far, here are a list of projects I have done in the past that could be rebuilt and fit the profit share model:

-Advertising network (sell banners, interstitials, and visitors)
-Social media & Twitch.tv follower sales (via custom app for Twitch and SociPanel for the rest)
-A blog that earns Adsense earnings and from paid post sales
-PTC/GPT sites

Ideas on a larger scale:
-Solar farm powered Mining operation
-Solar farms that sell energy to the State
-Establish a "tithe coin"
-Implement Crypto as a national currency for a new Palestinian Nation in Israel or Jordan

I will be starting the project in 2019 and would like to know other ideas and also what would it take to get you to invest in an ICO for this? The purpose of the ICO would be small, an allowance for me to live off of so i can quit my job and work on it ($12000/yr for 5 years) and $12000/year for bringing 36,000,000 visitors per year to the site(s).  An additional $30000 for reserve to cover the costs associated with development (ie contractors if needed). All surplus fund would be returned to the dApp profit share.  A total of $150,000 for the ICO and 15,000,000 tokens created.

10,000,000 tokens would be held by investors, 1,000,000 by me and 4,000,000 as blog post writing incentives (get paid tokens to write blog posts)

If the personal support is not a good idea, I can do Lyft or Amazon Flex driving to supplement my needs instead.

Thanks for your input

i dont understand what you are talking about..... why do you need ethereum in this? as some form of backing? or just create confusion so people think you are doing something intelligent.

you could simply also create just a project token, and buy back the token with achieved rewards.

implement crypto as a national currency for palestinians. thats a nice idea, it takes however quite a lot to execute that currency. and use the jobless middle eastern population to develop structures in the region.
4277  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MALAYSIA FIRST REGULATOR FRIENDLY CRYPTO EXCHANGE on: August 24, 2018, 05:19:24 AM

so you guys now think regulation will make things better do you?

It's give benefits to our trader not for us. The regulation gives us the guideline that need to follow so that we not out of the track. That's the reason why company register and monitored by Bank Negara Malaysia.

all those regulations are in truth just peace agreements with the banking cartels.
4278  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Consume Over Three Times More Energy Than Bitcoin! on: August 23, 2018, 10:10:40 PM
Interesting article in Bitcoinist:

According to Katrina Kelly-Pitou, the popular debate on whether or not Bitcoin’s network electricity consumption is causing serious damage to our climate is not headed in the right direction. Kelly-Pitou is a clean energy technology researcher at the University of Pittsburg,

Citing recent studies, which suggest Bitcoin dramatically increases the consumption of electricity on a global scale, Kelly-Pitou claims that experts are failing to understand some of the basics behind renewable energy systems:

Quote
Electricity production can increase while still maintaining a minimal impact on the environment. Rather than focusing on how much energy Bitcoin uses, the discussion should center around who indeed is producing it – and where their power comes from.

While she doesn’t neglect the substantial amount of electricity used for Bitcoin mining, she also notes that banking alone consumes “an estimated 100 terawatts.”

This is a little bit more than three times the energy Bitcoin mining consumes. She also makes an interesting claim, assuming 100x increase in Bitcoin’s current market size. Kelly-Pitou notes:

Quote
If Bitcoin technology were to mature by more than 100 times its current market size, it would still equal only 2 percent of all energy consumption.

The whole article: https://app.algory.io/app/cryptonews/81214/banks-consume-over-three-times-more

What do you think about it? On Twitter someone said: "Now... let's talk about how banks destroy environment, shall we?"

But the fact is that banks process much more transactions than blockchains now. What would be the real energy consumption if all transactions (processed now by banks), would be in blockchain?

banks are institutions to recognize worthy enterpreneuers giving them power. so they can develop useful social structures. bitcoin only wastes energy to provide lambos for its miners. bitcoin is doomed
4279  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela, a fable about socialism. Part 1/2 on: August 23, 2018, 08:44:38 PM
Definitely what happens in Venezuela is a case study, it is incomprehensible what happens here, what I think happens is that it is a great laboratory of socialism of the era we live in, it is a testing ground.

It is incredible that after the earth movement that there was, in Venezuela there was not even one wounded, thank God, because there is no way to deal with a problem of a certain magnitude.

What is true and surprising, is the attitude of the people, worthy of study and capable of driving anyone crazy, but I think it would be a topic for a new post, because it is inexplicable, while all this happens, while they devalue the currency, it trembles In all the territory, three zeros are removed from the coin, there is a giant inflation, the traffic to go to the beach the weekend was incredible and I was invited last Saturday to a very big party.

I will try to summarize a bit of this social madness in another article, but the summary is, in Venezuela what happens happens, because society is not up to the events.

the central banksters, and the gay army and police men around them are living on venezuelan oil reserves. instead of the foreign corporation that seized the oil of the country, now they do that.

this is the consequence you got. they are what is left of venezuelans xenophobia. that was pointed on foreign corporations that were active in that region.

@MbyzIco are you a venezuelan?

but dont worry this will never end, if you remove them someone else will be in their core and centre the ressources on those that are powerful and can hold it

you know che guevaras travel through south america? you should check it. its an old movie about the 60ies there you see where the hatred came from that foundades the current governments in latin america.
4280  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia vs the world??? on: August 23, 2018, 08:30:16 PM
Guys, wanted to know your opinion about potencial war incoming.

What do you think, will Russia continue occupying little countries like Georgia and Ukraine resulting in a new war or will it stop using such an aggressive politics?

Will Trump try to stop Russia or he needs Caucasus only for his army bases?

And what do you think, who will be on Russia's side??

russia didnt't occupied those countries. the population there were calling for russia to free them from the group of people the american banking cartel has installed there

there was also a election in which the populaton voted for federalisation.

Haven't heard so much bullshit in a long time.
20% of Georgia is occupied by Russia and it is recognized by almost every country.
There was an election in 1991 for democratic Georgia and 90% of population voted from which 88% was affirmative.
If they were calling for help, why did they start war against Georgia and Ukraine???
Do some researches about it

so called "georgia" has a minority, that doesnt want the government in tifilis or how the name of the country sounds. they want to be independent from it.

seriously i live in europe and i give a damn about the banking cartel, that seeks to spread and enslave as many people as possible with their banking cartel like in this case in "georgia"
