4281  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 16, 2016, 08:44:34 PM

IMO best way for a steady income is start a business.  1.) it has upside and 2.) if you get sick of injured you can often still run it.  So its best to pick a business you can run under most circumstances.  Even better is to have a flexible business where you can live anywhere.

Anyway that is the idea scenario.
What can of business are going to build ? because for me the way for steady your income is finding a job and love it with all your heart so that you can never be fired and you will be regular in you work, and if can make salary of 600$ a week then thats awesome job.

Business will not give you steady income at least in the beginning and you may go through loss in it at initial stage but if you keep on improving and keep on working on it then results would be different in future.

Yes, business is not always good for everyone one. And it's also not riskfree. So, all you need proper knowledge, skill and bit of luck to become succeed on it.
Yeah knowledge and skills are need to manage it.. Also experience can be help so its normal to lose in the first but you should learn in next time..

I've as worked as a cleaner, in warehouses, as a window maker, welder, various other factory type work.  All these jobs sucked because they are soul destroying.  They paid a wage though so were "secure".

I've also made a living from gambling at one point and some trading.  These were not "secure" but had more freedom.

From my experience the best thing i have found is running a good solid business - nothing fancy like creating bitcoin revolutionary app or something.  Just a easy simple business.   You get security + freedom.  I would argue its more secure vs almost any other form of income - it depends on circumstance though i guess.

On the one hand it can feel very liberating to own a business, but if you really want to succeed, then you still have to put a lot of time in it.
Even more so than when you work a steady job, I would say.

But if you enjoy what you're doing and the fact that you're not stuck at a crappy workplace, working under a boss, makes it all worth it while though.
4282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: September 16, 2016, 04:50:48 PM
blockchain.info, it can creates multiple addresses and no need to download the whole blockchain. I can get various addresses after i recieved money
Nothing wrong with using Blockchain for storing small amounts, but I'd keep larger amounts in cold storage or at least a desktop wallet that's secure.
But amounts under 1 Bitcoin should be fine to keep on Blockchain.info
4283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SMS to Bitcoin ? on: September 16, 2016, 04:46:54 PM
Isn't this going to make transactions in Bitcoin more expensive? For me international SMS charges are very high and it would infact only be useful only if I intend to make some very large payments. For smaller payments using SMS to transact Bitcoins would not be much beneficial.

If you'd like to send/receive bitcoins via SMS check out coinbase's 'Bitcoin SMS Service' or 'Coinapult's' Bitcoin sms service. Both these large companies are providing this facility.
This is the problem, the costs are really high and it's always better to find another way to buy Bitcoins.
Though it could be handy for someone who just wants Bitcoins right away to test it out.

Check out this site, maybe some of these options still work:

4284  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockFaucet-faucet/100% purely blockchain game on: September 16, 2016, 04:39:46 PM
The faucet is down Sad You should use other streams of revenue like other ads that are faucet friendly to renable the faucet as that was a main selling point to initially attract people.
Yeah, I don't really see this working without the faucet.
People would want to test it out first and those 150 credits will not get you too far.

Maybe try some different networks and see how it goes?
4285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 16, 2016, 04:34:56 PM
although this sounds like it would be a great mix its not, big corporations own porn hub and others like it and they are really only interested in the old fashioned ways of taking in capitol so I am afraid you will only see low level vendors accepting BTC for porn....

the big corporations like this only care about money and nothing else so i am sure they do not care about sticking to old ways or the new, they only care about earning more money.

so i think the reaso why they do not have bitcoin option is that there is not enough interest for it.
If they have less chargebacks due to using Bitcoin, they would probably consider adding Bitcoin payments.
But I can really see a market for independant producers, due to the anonymity aspects.
4286  Other / Archival / Re: Would you keepuse Bitcoin if government says bitcoin is illegal in your country? on: September 16, 2016, 04:31:40 PM
I might keep some in an offline wallet and leave it alone for a while. If they're like Russia, they'll flip and flop on deciding whether they want to support Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies or not.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some state-sanctioned cryptocurrencies very soon in an attempt to compete. There have already been some announcements of pilot projects.

If the implementation of the government s very strict that will even spy on all internets activity then i will not do bitcoins. But so far though there are banning there are no strict implementations thats why many are still doing bitcoin even if its illegal in their country. Some are using vpn to hide their ip address. Its hard to trace things, but if the government tells us to stop then we will stop.
Good point, if they monitor the internet traffic so much that it's almost impossible to avoid detection, I'd probably not use it too.
And if they add possible jail time as punishment...
4287  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BitCasinoNews.com]►Find Casino, Dice, Slot, Poker Reviews◄►Faucet◄►Forum◄ on: September 16, 2016, 03:57:47 PM
Looking good, but when I click on some reviews (Crypto-games review for example), it seems like the ratings and that table next to it are empty.
Might want to fix that, or maybe it's just an issue on my side, though I disabled my adblocker and reloaded.

This is what I'm talking about:

4288  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: September 16, 2016, 03:52:29 PM
Dont buy right now prices are highly unstable and in the last two weeks it went up and down wait a bit longer till we can say in a concrete way where this is going.
I foresee it bright though cause there's not much reason to drop in price other then people massively selling so when that stops price drops stops.
You might be right, however people are still buying bitcoin coz they people think the bitcoin's price right now is  cheap if compare to the highest level of the bitcoins price, they wouldn't buy bitcoin when the price hit 1k+ dollars, i personally keep buying as much as i can of course for long term investment.
I dunno, that depends if the price goes to $1000 steadily or very quickly, if it was a bubble or not.
I really think that the $1000 price will be inevitable, but I'm not sure how long it would take.
4289  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcasino stole 300mb from me , how do you rate this site ? bitcasino.io on: September 16, 2016, 03:29:08 PM
It is better not to deposit big amount at new casino site, test it for some time first, best is to gamble at reputable site Cheesy

You are mistaken that bitcasino is a new site. There has so much accusation on their site and still people keep falling on their trap. Gamble at reputable site is really helpful but not all people can really make some decent profit there, thats why some of them really get out from save zone to gamble on new site, which is lead them into winning but can't even withdraw it
Huh, they've been around for quite some time now. I've never had any trouble with them, but I've only played there a couple of times, didn't win though...

Just to prove I'm not talking bullshit (about me playing there):
4290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: September 16, 2016, 02:16:30 PM
I guess now's a good time to do so. Bitcoin will always rise over time. If you don't buy right now and in the next day it pumped, then you surely just lost your profit. When somebody's asking me when should he invest in Bitcoin, I always answer "right now" unless we're at the peak of the price pump.

this the answer that people have been giving in this topic even from the start time of this topic back inJ une 09 and if OP didn't take the initiative to buy until now, i don't think he will ever do that and he will continue missing out on buying and profiting for the rest of his life.
Threads like this are pretty useless anyway, I mean what answer are you going to expect on a Bitcoin forum.
Any time is a good time to buy into Bitcoin, unless it's just being pumped like right before the Mt.Gox fiasco.
4291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stock market list of bitcoin and altcoin that can be bought using stockbrokers on: September 16, 2016, 02:14:23 PM
just a warning to those new to investing

you are not actually buying real bitcoin from most of these stock exchanges.
you are just playing around with fiat and using their market order engine to buy 'pretend bitcoin'

so when you log in.. always check to see on the 'withdrawal' options if you can actually withdraw bitcoin, and not just native currency, because most stock exchanges dont.
(their stock exchanges not currency exchanges)

meaning they are not secretly buying bitcoin on your behalf to hand to you later, meaning they are not linked to real bitcoin exchanges to affect bitcoins real market value.

in short
a pump /dump on a stock market doesnt affect real bitcoin exchanges in the majority of cases
if you cannot withdraw bitcoin from a stockmarket. then you are just playing with their pebbles in their sandpit that "meant" to represent bitcoin.
in laymens.. at best you are buying loosely termed shares in a company supposedly holding X bitcoin.

so dont get excited thinking your helping bitcoin. instead just think of it as a different investment tool to grow your fiat
So if I'm getting this right, they're not even investing into buying Bitcoin themselves?
You're basically buying air...
4292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jobs on: September 16, 2016, 01:32:47 PM
Aside from the jobs you listed, there are also a lot of captcha entry jobs to be found here, but they're not really worth your time IMO.
I've said this many times before, it's a good idea to invest your time in learning a useful skill so you can get paid for providing a service to people.

Learn how to write or webdesign.

captcha entry it's not a proper job! it's just a "money making system" probably one of the most bored (and stupid, because some captcha could be use for attack an account that you control).

the best job related to bitcoin are block chain consultant, developer and web designer.

but I think these are good jobs (also with a good pay) literally nothing related to "captcha typer"!
Have you even read my post? Where did I state that it was a "proper job"?
OP listed similar things such a signature campaigns, I'd put the captcha thing in the same category, though you could argue that it's not really a forum job.

And yeah, web development would be a great service to offer, but not if you're just a beginner and followed an hour long Youtube tutorial on how to set up a Wordpress site or whatever.
You need to learn that skill and only think about offering it as a service to paying customers when you're at least somewhat decent at it.
4293  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple Bitcoin Info Website on: September 16, 2016, 01:25:52 PM
Really nice design, very clean and simple, I like it.
Something that you could add would be some charts of the price history when you click on the Bitcoin and Altcoin prices.

And also, maybe I'm just missing it, but your site doesn't state the sources of the prices?
4294  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shopify Site BTC on: September 16, 2016, 01:20:46 PM
Any reason why you depend on Shopify?
I would think there are far better solutions for a shop that you could use?

It's not that hard to set up a simple Wordpress site zith a good e-commerce plugin...
The better solution is developing your own damn website. How hard is it to set-up a e-commerce website these days ? Hire a freelance ,spend a few hundreds, you're website is up and running instead of paying to services every time you make a deal.If you can learn coding, again a advantage over hiring a developer.Basically internet has everything you need to set -up an ecommerce site, the full source code, just have to connect the dots.
That was my entire point, minus paying a dev to set up the website, you can do it basically for free, there are free Wordpress plugins for that and also plugins that do not charge you per order.
In the end you pay less in total than you would when hiring a freelancer to do that.
4295  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A web idea on: September 16, 2016, 01:17:13 PM
My idea is that each pixel cost 100 satoshis for the million pixels 1 bitcoin.

What do you think?

Best regards
Get Over Faucets.I mean seriously,if you could think something out of box,it will be  worth the efforts monetizing it.Not saying dump the faucet, maybe create a link between watching videos and faucets, like every 2 minutes of video wathced gives you x amount of satoshi's.(not quite literally but somethin similar)

Not working...
https://kilobitcoinhomepage.com still works, but it's not very succesfull, and the fact that most of them are not working was Vod's point, those kind of sites are doomed to fail.
The first one worked because it was an original idea at a time where the internet was still fairly new for a lot of people and companies.
4296  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which sites allows me to trade and receive dividends in Bitcoin ? on: September 16, 2016, 01:12:42 PM
we are in 2016, you are wasting your time ... I think the best way to easily generate bitcoin: www.duckbit.com I think everyone agrees, and you have nothing to lose.
That's just a cloudmining site, likely to turn scam. I wouldn't trust most cloudmining sites and the ones that are trustable (genesis-mining for example), will not give you any ROI unless you're lucky and prices rise significantly.

To OP: have a look at the securities section of the forum, but do note that it's generally pretty risky

4298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 16, 2016, 12:59:17 PM
Interesting poll, interesting results but could be forseen. Anyway now we know for sure.
Bitcoin users are young, intelligent people from rich families.

Good people to innovate Smiley and push bitcoin further.
That's quite a stretch to call them intelligent and from rich families, looking at some of the posts on this forum, I wouldn't say that all Bitcoin users are intelligent.
And looking at what many people do just to earn a few dollars worth of Bitcoin, I also wouldn't say they come from rich families Tongue
4299  Economy / Gambling / Re: [!] Ghostbook - New Bitcoin Bookie - Only on Tor [!] on: September 16, 2016, 12:55:55 PM
Any specific reason why you're doing this through Tor?
I assume to protect yourself from any possible legal repercussions or is there more to it than that?

And any plans to add Belgian footbal to the list? I see you do have the Dutch league Wink
4300  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best bitcoin slots game? on: September 16, 2016, 12:51:13 PM
I'm a big fan of the slots at Bitcoinvideocasino because they always have a really huge progressive jackpot.
But it's also one of the most addictive slots that I've played.

It's also completely custom btw.
