Bitcoin's dominance over other cryptocurrencies can be understood without any problems. You should not blame Bitcoin itself, as well as people who believe in it more than in other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is number one now and nothing can be done about it. And don't need to  It is a sad moment that most investors are focusing only for Bitcoin or they give more into this coin and they just overlook into altcoins potentiality. I'm also still holding some altcoins but I've never saw that it moves high instead it drops more. Even that is a reason of it's dump, but I've never to blame them nor to Bitcoin cause that is what it be. We can't be hopeless just because of that, it sometimes the market will so unfair. |

Bitcoin is on the run for some months now and it has significantly increased from $3700 bottom to over $13k but the price of altcoins is dragging and its not really following the trend. My question is that when will altcoins join the current rally in crypto market?

As for now, I'm happy with bitcoin recovering but will be happier if the altcoins will also recover, we can call this a big success for the crypto world. When Bitcoin is pumping high the price of Ethereum does not go directly pumping. And Ethereum is experiencing a very slow development. For me, many people are too focused on raising the price of Bitcoin. But this is also a hope for Ethereum can also pump higher. And we must be patient to wait for it.
It's pretty normal IMO and I believe soon we will also see some FOMO on ETH again. For me, I can understand why ETH is not growing, it take time to get back the confidence of the people and remember we were down so hard last year. ETH did not rise in sats value but it's good since it did not dump anymore, it's stable and it only let Bitcoin improve its price in usd pair. |

Under 2.0 will make you safe but it doesn't guarantee that you will still win with your bets.
I don't consider it safe, betting under 2.0 could still be risky because lines sometimes are just trap for gamblers to bet on it. Gamblers mentality is when the line is below 2.0, most likely the team would win, but IMO it's not like that, odds makers are just reading people's mind and there's a saying that we should always bet against the public to have better chances of winning. Also, to be a long term winner betting on the odds below 2.00, you should win more than 50% to ensure profit, provide you are discipline with your bankroll management principle. |

And why feel sad about that? Don't you want a balance and much of a close game challenge between two teams? Talented players should be spread out in different teams especially in the low-rank teams. I miss the old times where it's unpredictable who will reach the Finals.

Long term hold is only safer if you are holding top 20 crypto coins and tokens ,its even more risky if your coins and tokens are new projects and their will be no guarantee that they will live for long but yet we still have new projects that will make it to top 20 someday ,my advice is to stick with doing better research
Obviously that is true since top 20 has the most volume in the market, therefore the team had the funds and at the same time they are inspired to develop the project further, but please put in mind as well that top 20 could result to less profit compared to the riskier but undervalued assets below top 20. |

There are many altcoins that have not increased a lot compared to bitcoin and are promising for the future. If you want to buy your alt of choice, this is the correct time as you'll get more coins with the btc at current time than a few months ago. And probably more than what you'll get in next few months.
Agree, ethereum for example, maybe against the dollar ethereum prices look up but ethereum prices againts bitcoin are still cheap and still go down. When the price of bitcoin starts to stabilize, it is possible that ethereum prices againts bitcoin will go up and this will provide profits in bitcoin It only tells one thing, Bitcoin is growing but ETH remains stable, only the dollar value has increase but it has no really rise because of demand. With that said, I think ETH will also find time to pump and we should expect that within this year. |

Altcoin is just a vague category. The market has changed a lot and we can't just divide it into altcoin and bitcoin as their price movement are getting independent of each other. There always will be a trend but altcoin price are rising and falling depending on what they do and how they perform. So, its better to choose the right coin for you be it bitcoin or any.
Most of us hoping that altcoin will have its good season to start are those who bought last year or the previous years, we now are holding a non worthy coins so we are hoping that season will arrive so we have a chance to see it rise and sell if the timing is good. I think for now people are investing heaving in bitcoin since it's the most profitable coin so far, of course except BNB who really made a decent increase this year and have its ATH, the rest of the coins are just not doing great so far. |

it is easy to doubt the boom of ethereum with more competing platform coming up recently. More also is the declined or no ICO in recent crowdsale, this has drastically reduced the demand for ethereum and also the sale. The ethereum decentralized exchanges had been a useful venue and larger number of projects on the platform that require gas for transaction, has maintain a soft demand.
Guess that's just a small weakness if you call it one, that the nature of decentralized exchange, we need to pay for the Gas. The biggest factor that affected the drop of ETH is the drop of ICO, most ICO in 2017 and prior raised money in ETH, so the demand has increase since it was really successful in the past, in fact there's a lot ETH tokens that made big name in crypto space, one example is BNB. |

in fact, in my opinion, the main function of Kyc is to avoid fraudsters in the crypto world, but the more here I see the more complicated, even I have tried an exchange using Kyc, but it has always been rejected, even though it is in accordance with the previous list if many people are disappointed with the method.
I don't find submitting on the KYC and getting approve is a complicated thing as most of my exchanges accounts are KYC approved. Maybe you just need to read and follow carefully the requirements, for exchange like Binance, they have a very simply KYC requirements so me and my partner are both verified, other exchange could be different but I don't use them much so I'd go with the one I always use. |

Any good year for bitcoin is a good year for altcoins as well. It showcases adoption and acceptance. Many good altcoins in the market will witness tons of buy orders just like in 2017. I am completely bullish on the crypto market this year
We can't conclude this year as a good year for bitcoin since we are just in the start of the 2nd half, lots of good price movement happened in the first half but we still the remaining half to finish the year, if the bullish momentum will continue, I think altcoins might grow in general. |

Honestly, this is a complete random process, you can study the company from A to Z and you will think that this company is top-notch and there will be no problems with it, but in the end this same company will start to put forward various new conditions for paying bounty tokens or will not pay nothing, it has already been so many times and will be unfortunately...
I agree with your point, bounty hunting in general is not profitable anymore, so even if you are promoting a good project that does not guarantee you'll enjoy your reward when the ICO is over. Even at this time where IEO is more popular, there's only few bounties that are successful. |

I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.
I hope you keep your words and do as you say, being a strong believer means you'll bear with bitcoin even at tough times. Bitcoin has been volatile but it does not affect its growth, still growing although dump many times. Overall, it's the best coin in crypto so people are investing on it despite its volatility. Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?

Good development for the Asian country, they cannot dominate in terms of economy standing but they are allowing crypto as an opportunity to improve their economy. I'm living in Asia and I'm happy with the current crypto status in our country, I'm hoping more improvement will come in the long run as improvement will lead to more adoption.

I think it's more likely to lead the altcoins to rise again than the new alts.
Altcoins belongs to the same market, most investors know about bitcoin only and therefore their first choice is bitcoin, especially the new one.
Investing in bitcoin is easy compared to altcoins since you just hold it and you don't worry on its future compared to altcoins where there's a lot of changes that might happen over time.
Altcoins party has not started yet but as bitcoin continues to pose more bullish, I would not be surprise if it will come very soon.
