4281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Enhanced restriction in gambling casinos is it possible on: May 10, 2020, 04:19:33 AM
I think that it is possible but in my opinion these restrictions should have been made even before the time of pandemic, I am going to say that gambling industry or any form of it should be restricting minors because they are on the internet and I think that the only way that you can do that is by implementing a strict KYC. The restrictions in gambling at these time and age is not that enough because when the game is promoted people will flock to gather and gather disregarding the restrictions that areput in the first place, for me this is just an excuse by gambling owners to earn a profit at the time of pandemic.
4282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: May 09, 2020, 10:19:52 AM
One advice that I apply to myself too that I can impart is to continue learning because everyday there will be new things that will sprout out of nowhere and having a vast knowledge about almost anything that involves the trading industry at your disposal is a good thing at best but another thing you should consider is while learning and acquirimg knowledge and wisdom, you should simultaneously accumulate experience, because there will be no better teacher than experience, you can practice without risk through paper trading.
4283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: May 09, 2020, 09:14:05 AM
In my country, that is enough to start a career though there will be a lot of losses because there will be trial and error and also do not forget the unforeseen events.
You also should consider the question by cheezcarlz that I quoted below because this takes your journey to he next level if you answer it correctly, though answering the right answer here is just part of a bigger task that only you can comply.

The real question is, can you afford losing $100 under any circumstance?
4284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: May 09, 2020, 08:18:34 AM
If you want more than just learning then I can suggest you doing paper trading, I do not know much about cryptocurrency trading but with paper trading, you can practice your trading at zero risk, one website that offers it is eToro. I haven't personally use it but the feedback is good and I can safely say that most trading tutorial will tell you that accumulating knowledge is not enough, and we can also add the cliche phrase that experience is the best teacher.
4285  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BUILD CRYPTOCURRENCY WALLET i.e. Blockchain.com on: May 09, 2020, 06:57:56 AM
Lorence.xD, thanks for your reply. We have a marketing plan but we must build the project first.  I see that you work with Coinsclone. Can you tell me what websites have used your clone and give me a link to the sites?
They are partnered with Binance, Coinbase and LocalBitcoins.com. That is all that I see in their website, you can visit them at coinsclone.com. I do not personally use clones and I understand that this is a new thing for me too, I have been in the campaign for only one week, so I can't help you that much, you can still visit their site, they boast their plethora of features.
4286  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Request - Projects to create Bitcoin job opportunities. on: May 09, 2020, 04:28:11 AM
With just the campaigns as oppurtunities to people that have been layed-off, I believe that it will help but not a lot because with the current influx of people applying for a campaign does not match with the needed workforce for each campaign. Do not forget that there are people who does not know about bitcoin and even if they do know, they do not know where to access them. In my opinion, this should serve as a lesson for people who do not have emergency fund and that they should spend their money wisely next time.
4287  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BUILD CRYPTOCURRENCY WALLET i.e. Blockchain.com on: May 09, 2020, 03:47:22 AM
I hope that your project can be completed, but one thing irks me. How do you plan to market your product? I am sure that you are not the only one who has this idea and there might wallets out there that have been there for a long time. If your wallet is going to stand out, what features that will make it stand out from the rest? This is the most cliche question because most product came from the same tree. Are you planning to make an App of this wallet so you can tap more demographic? Most people have a mobile phone so that means that people who will use your product will ask if they can access their wallet via mobile app.
4288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Play? on: May 08, 2020, 05:05:08 AM
Five percent is just a quaint number but if you think about it in a large scale, that is a huge cut for player, and if I were to form an answer on the player side I would say that it is a disadvantage, but when it is on hte business side, it is a whole different story, the answer for that is an absolute yes, because these one percent that the business will impart as a charity can be used for tax deduction and will greatly benefit the business, plus the gambling business model is structured in a way that the house will win most of the time.
4289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 03:26:32 AM
I knew that it was going to go back to 10k, I was saving my bitcoin until it reaches that cap even if that rise is midway I do not care because I haven't invested a lot of cash when I first bought it so an increase in two-folds in my investment is not that bad.
4290  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 07, 2020, 08:25:55 AM
Your 14 year old kid is your greatest motivation for fighting the urge to gamble in my opinion, anyway keep it up. I want to share experiences too, I also gamble with poker but everytime the urge comes in, I just search a poker match and stream it, I know that it will not do much so I downloaded a poker game out of app store so I can keep myself in control. The urge to gamble when you haven't been playing for a long time is getting stronger everytime, good thing that I have bookmark of mangas to read and animes to watch, it can help me feel occupy at down time. The best about fighting the urge to gamble is that I saved a lot of money, I do not have much to say about but this discipline training is paying off.
4291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayor Of Las Vegas wants the whole city open, including casinos and stadiums on: May 07, 2020, 07:07:21 AM
That would be crazy, there is still a pandemic and they plan to do business, this is what happens when people ignore science, they will abandon all reason just so they can earn a profit. The worse thing here is that they are abandoning their ethical and moral obligation to the citizens of Las Vegas, I get that their place will not function because most of the businesses there is gambling and that "they care" about the people not getting a paycheck to put food for the table but would you sacrifice the well being of your biggest natural resource which is human resource, this action is a face palm for me, truly disappointing.
4292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wonder how much is the $1200 stimulus package worth now if invested on BTC? on: May 07, 2020, 05:49:25 AM
I get the point but wouldn't it be more useful if it was used for essential, unless that stimulus is a spare cash then it is alright. For me, advertising the stimulus package to attract people to invest is kind of strange, especially in this time where most of the family that are going to receive are in dire need of that cash. The quote below takes the cake for the other point where the well-off also wants a piece of the pie.

Then they shouldn't have taken the help from government at the first place. The sole intention of providing such money is to help their citizens deal with the current time and to increase the market demand. But if someone is really well-to-do then they shouldn't have taken such monetary help from the government. You can read the below article,

https://cryptopotato.com/coinbase-sees-1200-deposits-peak-following-first-us-stimulus-package-distribution/

I am sure FED probably had explicitly prohibited investment of this help but they can always come up with new rules and gives retrospective effect if they think their money is being misused.
4293  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ScamWhammer - Block scam websites and promotions with your adblocker on: May 07, 2020, 02:40:08 AM
Do you have to manually input the scam websites or it automatically identify them like search engine web crawlers, I do not see it in your pitch but I think that this has a big potential. Does it work like adblocker? Cause if that is how it function then it can be a good thing because you will stand out from the rest. Does it work on mobiile and does this project works for all browsers? I believe that more people are using their mobile phones so I asked of this question, with regards to the browser, I think the more the merrier.
4294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: May 06, 2020, 10:20:03 AM
You can use hardware wallet to make things easier, store the wallet in a bank and put it on your will and testament, and give instructions there on how they will use the wallet and what is the part of each family member to the piece of bitcoin pie. Inheritance system for bitcoin, in my opinion does not solve any problem, you can entrust almost anything in your will, that includes your online accounts and stuff like that. I think that there is no merit in going extra step to do something simple that works. And on the side note, making a inheritance is vulnerable to attacks in this time and age and the non-electronic concept works best because hackers do not see any merit attacking a notary or lawyer's office and expect profit.
4295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you read about crypto? Favorite sources? on: May 06, 2020, 08:41:52 AM
If Youtube counts then that is the first platform that I was introduced to, thought that the enigmatic personality of the creator charmed me and made me even more curious, then I stumble upon this forum around the time that I was in 11th grade, though at that time I never created an account but I follow some topics like Bitcoin Technical Support, when it comes to news I go for CoinTelegraph, all the happenings in the cryptocurrency as a whole, I also subscribe to some business articles like NY Times and my Google News are subscribed to Business Insider, I think that it helps you make sound and informed decision when you do not focus all your attention to one industry but all that it affects too.
4296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 06, 2020, 07:34:10 AM
That really makes me frustrated, I can't fathom what the government feels like but this kind of events makes me sad and loss my faith that poor people need help, I do not generalize all the poor people in my country but this gambling addicts are part of the poverty line and that is infuriating because they have the stimulus while other more poor people haven't received it yet, in the report I have read there are also individual who used the stimulus cash as a front for drug money, this kind of people is the most vile and they make me repulse which is kind of sad and pathetic for these people not being grateful to the help that they receive but instead abuse it and play the victim when get caught, the good thing about that is that they are strip of benefits that all the poor people receive from the government and they are sentenced to prison. This is what you can expect from a third world country like mine, people play the victim when they get caught red handed and justify their mistakes  with irrational reasons.
4297  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Suggest a book... on: May 06, 2020, 05:47:14 AM
I am a book guy myself so I can't just recommend one, so I am going to recommend you one from each category.

  • Philosophy - do not have much knowledge with these books but any Carl Jung is recommended.
  • Literature - I am just assuming that you mean classic literature so I will recommend you The Pearl by John Steinbeck, this one is a one-sitter novel, this is a tragic story of people getting all the attention all of the sudden.
  • Fiction - the Animal Farm by George Orwell, this one takes the cake for me when it comes to power struggle in our society.
  • Non-Fiction - this one will raise some eyebrows so disclaimer that I am in no way supporting the content, Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler, this one is crazy but I am recommending you this because it is a free look into the minds of a leader that moved people through propaganda, most of the book is a sob story about his struggles but all of it is just a propaganda to drive Germans at that time that they are fighting the right fight.

4298  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Investment for a Cryptocurrency Exchange Project on: May 06, 2020, 04:22:39 AM
You can do a kickstarter campaign if you need funds in my opinion, you said that the product is complete but you should link us a demo or a pitch, so we could see if there is a potential or nah.
Is there any insurance that this is not a scam beside the fact that you can sympathize with the victims? I do not appeal to much with emotions when it comes to business.
What exactly is different with your exchange that seperates you from other exhange?
Is the exchange ready for mobile platform? You know that you can target more demographic when you have that box checked.
Is your UI good? Is the UX engaging?
4299  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anonymous Cryptopayments API for Developers on: May 06, 2020, 02:05:40 AM
Does it work like cryptocurrnecy tumblers? If yes, wouldn't it be hard for you to establish your project because you can almost do the same with those tumblers, and what makes yours unique from the other.
How do you plan to get an income from this because it looks like it is only a bridge for anonymous payments, do you get commisions or are you putting ads, cause that helps a lot.
One last thing I can think of is how can the receiver get the payment when there are no sign up, this might be a problem in the long run because there can be mix-ups, I hope you can put a unique identifier for receiving payments like two way encryption where the sender and the receiver carries one key and the payment will never be valid when there is no activation from the both parties.

Thanks for your comments, answering your questions:

Does it work like cryptocurrency tumblers?
Not exactly, payrobot.io has two approaches:

1) Payment forwarding
This is like a cryptocurrency tumbler, you send coins to one address and receive it in other. BUT, this is intended for payment tracking via API and Callbacks, example:

Tom opens a Bitcoin platform and wants to accept payments easily, he doesn't want to use BitPay, Coinbase, or Full Node etc because of (any reason: hard implementation, privacy, sign-up, high rates, etc). So with payrobot.io generates one-time addresses to give to his clients and receive payments. Payrobot notifies his platform with url callbacks the status of payments so he can manage them automatically. Furthermore funds are sent immediately to his personal coin address as soon as payment is confirmed.

2) Wallet
Same as above but payments are stored in a private wallet where Tom's platform can request later send coins to different addresses. For example this is useful if Tom is implementing a PTC platform, investing, games or whatever where send coins to clients is required.

How do you plan to get an income from this because it looks like it is only a bridge for anonymous payments?
Payrobot.io takes 0.90% fee per recieved payment (inbound transactions), all outbound transactions are free. No ads Wink

One last thing I can think of is how can the receiver get the payment when there are no sign up, this might be a problem in the long run because there can be mix-ups
Generated addresses are one-time use so there is no way to mix-up where the payment has to be forwarded, all transactions are identified with unique IDs also

It is a nice thing that you respond to questions, now that I can a clear picture of your project, here is another question for you:
Wouldn't your project be a hotbed for illicit transactions? The anonymity surely will attract people from all walks of life, and I think that the creator has a degree of responsibility when a transaction for illegal has been done on his site.
Do you have any sort of audit trail that can only be given to authorities when the time comes? I know that this defeats the purpose of anonymity but I believe that letting illegal activities become prolific side by side with cryptocurrency innovation will result in a pyrrhic victory. Will your site participate with authorities for investigation when it is needed?
4300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 05, 2020, 12:30:33 PM
The points you have given is true, no disagreements about that. One thing I can add is that people always jumps on the boat when it comes to trading, now what I mean by that is people starts trading without a plan, saving for an emergency fund to prevent damage when trading day is unprofitable, thinking that 6 months of learning just learning about trading without experience with mock/paper trading is wasted. Seriously, I believe that people stops trading because they faced a black day and they do not have a safety for times like this thus leaving behind their trading journey.
