4301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 23, 2017, 10:06:51 AM
most folks in second to first world countries wont find as much opportunity from the random clickwork that bitcoin provides, than if they had landed a real world job and purchased bitcoin. click work doesnt build resumes, and its hard to explain to a potential employer why posting on a forum for income qualifies you for a decent job in the real work force Smiley if you live in the third world however, and have decent computer/device access and network connectivity, it seems like you can go pretty far with a bitcoin gig (the adjusted income is comparable with the local real world average income).

you might as well flip burgers. you can at least get holiday pay, at the least, and the opportunity for unemployment benefits.
Point of view always depends on the perspective. I don't know if you realize that, but recently with Bitcoin reaching $5000 campaigns were paying 3.5USD per post. It means that you only needed about 3 posts to reach a typical salary of a burger flipper. In Europe €10 per hour is not a bad wage for entry level employee. You could make more from posting without leaving the house.
IMO current posting rates are competitive when compared to so called first world wages.
4302  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining Bitcoin Case Study on: September 22, 2017, 05:17:31 PM
There's so many people here exposing their system and you still gave them 6000 USD? I can't believe how greedy you are. Maybe you will get ROI or be very close to it, but that's not important. It's not about showing you reach 25 or 50% ROI. Even if you get 101% ROI and your contract expires you can still consider yourself scammed. I don't know why people aren't getting it but if you gave a loan of $6000 to someone here you'd be expecting to get at least $6500 after a year. With GM people are loaning them money and are happy even if they get $100. That's insane.
4303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxless and free society? on: September 22, 2017, 05:07:22 PM
It would sound like a really good idea to many, but it isn't in my opinion, taxes are necessary for development, society should be free but people should pay taxes and government should use it for the welfare of the people.

Yes it is, taxes are for development, infrastructure, establishments and public services, I think having taxes with everything and everyones money if taxes will go to their purposes but nowadays corruption is being accepted to government and it limits the possibility for a country to become progressive as soon as possible.
For that to happen taxes have to be just and in our current society they never are.
What are just taxes? The ones that treat every person in the same way, meaning the amount you're paying is fixed, the same for every citizen, and made so that it's affordable to all. Unjust taxes are punishing those who are working harder and earning more, because they have to pay more than the rest.

Making people go to jail for not paying those unjust taxes is even more ridiculous. Think about it, you're taking a person that isn't contributing to society and putting him in a jail with murderers, rapists and thieves. He didn't pay his share, so is in debt to the government, yet the government spends money to prosecute and hold him against his will, feeding him, paying his medical bills while he's in. The government always knows how to waste money and make people's lives miserable.
4304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Free Society Foundation Plans to Establish Libertarian Country on: September 22, 2017, 04:59:05 PM
It's hard for me to believe that a government will be willing to sell land to such organization and not demand them to pay taxes and uphold the law. You may have a closed society, just like Amishes, but it will be a struggle when the government gets bored with you. The only way that could work is if a society was big enough and ready to die for their beliefs. If a 10 thousand armed people stood up and said we're not going to pay taxes, fuck the government, it would be a hard nut to crack Wink
4305  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-20] China Should Create Its Own Cryptocurrency ‘As Soon as Possible’ on: September 22, 2017, 04:51:00 PM
I know that China entered such studies, I believe that a coin will emerge as a result of their work, but they will not be accepted around the world, they will use it among themselves. Just like facebook, whatsapp
Next step, China bans the Internet and makes their own Cheesy
There are two outcomes if they make their own crypto and ban Bitcoin. Either it will be used in China and becomes popular there, but the rest oif the world will ignore it, just like they're ignoring BCC, or it will not become big even in China and fails.
4306  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-22] Governments will close down cryptocurrencies if they get too big on: September 22, 2017, 04:48:52 PM
Not this clown again! All he does is whine about how cryptos are bad and the press is just feeding him by saying that the recent correction was his doing.
Now he's going to keep pounding until people finally wake up and stop reacting to his words. You hate Bitcoin because it's working against you and your crooked bank, we know it, time to change the tune Jamie.
4307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 22, 2017, 04:45:18 PM
its nice to make a buck but dont be foolish too depend on it, nothing steady and secure in bitcoin. use money you can afford to lose!
You're right, but nothing is steady in your life either. You might think it is because your boss gave you a signed contract, your money is lying safe in a bank, you have steady income and the currency hasn't changed its value in years, but it's all a house of cards. You can get kicked out of your job for a simple mistake tomorrow, or they can go bankrupt in a week and leave you with no income. The bank can go bankrupt, or it can freeze your money because of a crisis. You never know.
4308  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Great cloud mining website? on: September 21, 2017, 10:53:21 AM
Pretty much all cloud mining is a scam in one way or another.  Invest your time and money somewhere, anywhere, else.  You'll thank yourself later on.

The ones who said so about my cloudmining are not thanking you now.
It is paying since october 2015 and it is absolutly for free.
Ok...You need more brain than the average to understand the system...
You have two kind of people here:
the ones who understand the system and earn...
and
the ones who do not understand and do not earn...
So is life...all is not easy.

Is that why you have negative trust? Because people didn't understand the system? Cheesy
You need to have less brain than the average to think you can throw an unsustainable system at people and expect them to drown you in money. Cloud mining doesn't work because the profitability margin is too small.
4309  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign STOP??? on: September 21, 2017, 10:31:48 AM
I was backreading some topics in Marketplace and found out that signature campaign was not included in the first service of this website... What if Signature Campaign was never introduced... What else could be the Service we can apply for?Huh
Only unskilled, lazy idiots would suffer.Developers, graphics designers, artists, marketing professionals,SEO guys,Computer Science Engineers would still find themselves freelance work for bitcoins which pays much higher than signature campaigns. On the brighter side, forum would be a less crappy place to hangout.
Nobody would suffer. It's just a side income and should remain as such. If somebody stops paying you for posting will you suffer? Like literally suffer, being unable to pay your bills? Cheesy

Signature campaigns were introduced somewhere in 2013 or around that date. I saw Primedice campaign with posts dating back to 2013 and it was one of the first such programs on the forum. It got them some nice returns and helped build client base, so other startups followed the same path.
4310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: September 21, 2017, 10:14:01 AM
destruction of mankind:
one way where nucleus energy can be used for electricity ,on the other hand, many missiles and ammos are being designed that can evaporate entire human population of an area in matter of seconds.

outside activity has been decreased as compare to older days..even in days with nice weather one wants to spend time inside instead of playing outside specially in case of children.

we are addicted to technology so much that one hour without internet.seems like a whole day of nothingness

It's not a negative aspect and doesn't have to lead to destruction. In history attempts were made to use everything possible as a weapon. People were killing each other with scythes, butter knives, electric current, and yet nobody refers to these items as deadly. We had access to nuclear weapons for 90 years and no country was destroyed. People are aware what these weapons can do. It's actually a positive aspect because we have such destructive weapons now than people are scared to use them. That's why we now have the longest period of peace in history.
4311  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HOSTYOURMINER Makes even your single miner profitable!! on: September 21, 2017, 09:41:18 AM

So every new company has to have a aged bitcointalktalk membership to be trusted as a legit company? i don't think that's a fair thought. We only announced our business yet on the forum. We are clear and open and have nothing to hide. As soon as our website is online you can check everything.
I'm assuming this means sharing all your personal details, being available to talk on the phone or meet IRL, giving tours of your data center and so on.
If you're going to take people's money for hosting and their miners, with no collateral, you got to be trusted or at least have someone trusted verify and vouch for you.
There's been too many similar scams so people have learned to be suspicious.
4312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on: September 21, 2017, 09:20:25 AM
If a thieving bank owner tells me not to Buy Bitcoin it's 100% bullish. That guy stands for everything Bitcoin wants to destroy. If Crypto becomes global one day guys like him will end up unemployed. These threats are his swan song.
When you read any news you need to filter it and decide what the real message is. Like when somebody tells you to sell Bitcoin because Bitcoin Cash is going to be bigger. Do you react to it and sell? If not then why would you react to a message of some CEO?
4313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: with bitcoin can I get an island? on: September 21, 2017, 09:11:33 AM
Of course you can. Back in the day there was a whole island in Micronesia up for sale.

Now there are many equally interesting places to choose from.
For instance this one https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/442-32-hectares-13-of-island-southwest-lombok

I think this will prohibit. I never heard of it here. lombok is a part of our country. no sale of an island, in indonesia not allowed to sell an island. even if there are foreign nationals, they just hire no more than that. if any of these violations will become criminal.

You should carefully read the ad. They aren't selling the whole island, but a large part of it. Somebody owns land there and is selling it, just like they would sell land on the mainland. About half of the island belongs to someone else, and we can see that it's used for agriculture.
It's still a beautiful region. If I had enough money I'd buy it and build a watchtower in the middle of it and rent out rooms with a 360 degree view of the island Cheesy
4314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: September 16, 2017, 01:33:45 PM
yes, men and women should be  treated equally. women can do everything that a man can do . so there  is no gender inequality is  to be done between men and women.
You're joking, right?
Gender equality ends when a woman needs to drag a new washing machine into the house or her car breaks.
There's no equality, that's why women and man aren't competing in sports. Have you ever asked yourself why there are much less women CEOs than men?
You can't expect to pay a woman the same wage a man gets when she does half of his work.
4315  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have free solar energy - well, "free" except for opportunity cost on: September 16, 2017, 01:21:43 PM
In the mean time, you can try to grab old power supplies and GPUs at throwing price and try to mine some BTC while waiting for the ASICs...
You want him to mine BTC with GPUs? Are you crazy? Cheesy

I'd focus on mining altcoins. GPUs are a good idea because if you change your mind you won't have trouble selling them on ebay or amazon.
Don't buy a large quantity, make one rig for starters and see how it goes, what the temperatures will be and so on. It might be possible to run everything without AC just on circulation.

4316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why Miners Prefer 1060ti 6gb over 1050ti4gb, while 1050 is cheaper than 1060 on: September 16, 2017, 01:14:19 PM
It's the performance really. Just compare user benchmarks. Let's take zcash for instance:
EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC   6 GB DDR5   2113/9598 MHz   345 Sol/s
ZOTAC GTX 1060 6GB MINI   6 GB DDR5   1924/4200 MHz   308 Sol/s

ZOTAC GTX 1050TI OC DUAL FAN   4 GB DDR5   X/X MHz   179.5 Sol/s
ASUS GTX 1050 TI 4GB GDDR5   4 GB DDR5   1592/8008 MHz   172.5 Sol/s

So you have more or less 50% performance boost for 50% more money and you'll be able to use it longer because if the ram margin. When 4GB becomes obsolete like 2GB has become in ETH you won't have to run to the store.
I don't know where you saw 1050 hashing better than 1060. Any links?
4317  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Tropical Country on: September 16, 2017, 12:50:38 PM
I think its not safe to cover the rack with air filters.
You can use the chinese technique of using water curtains to reduce the temperature inside the room where the miner would be.
I have mined in a tropical country and I recommend you to underclock the miners, its a safe bet, and use a hot and cold rooms system to manage the temperature

1. how big water curtain?
2. how to use hot and cold room method? Smiley

I think he was thinking about evaporation coolers. They are also called swamp coolers. It's simply a mesh that's being constantly sprinkled with water and a fan is blowing air into it. The water cools down passing air. It's a cheaper version of AC, much better for large compounds, but it also makes the air more humid. If you're in a tropical climate this could be a problem.

Cold and hot rooms or aisles are being used in big data centers. They separate hot and cold air which keeps it from mixing and makes cooling more efficient while also making it easy to access the server room. Without them it would be difficult to work there while the servers are running.

4318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What will you do if you know someone that is part of the LBGT community? on: September 16, 2017, 12:32:43 PM
I wouldn't do anything. What would you do if you knew someone that's retarded, or disabled, or that has a fetish? I mean what can you do?
There are some things you can't change, like someone being smarter than you or your parents being divorced. That's life.
4319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: September 16, 2017, 12:23:27 PM
That's what I was thinking and then I run out of fiat to spend Cheesy

there is news where a few days this bitcoin price down,
If I have a lot of money, I'll buy bitcoin when the bitcoin price goes down, and I'll sell it when bitcoin goes up,
because bitcoin will return to the moon.

I'm glad there are people so sure of Bitcoin reaching a new moon, but why would you sell if you know it's going to increase in value? Don't wait for another ATH to sell, keep it, forget about it, and make it work for you.
4320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dust has settled...how did you fare? on: September 16, 2017, 12:22:27 PM
I think it's not over yet. There could still be a second wave. Knowing China they will come up with something new in a couple days like shortening the closure period for exchanges or prosecuting people involved in ICOs and we'll see panic and blood on the streets.
