Can you post the link here so that many can see it? Actually, Some scammers disguise themselves hiding on a signature campaign. They actually hire your service then you'll never get paid. This is according to some players that I have talked to. Any thoughts on this or have you been a victim of scammed signature campaign? If signature campaign will be like this, O don't recommend stoppage (most of us earn through this) instead, filter those campaigns and ban malicious and non paying campaigns

Yeah I agree give us some link because your topic was not that informative. But of course it wasn't the main plan of services, escrow is one of the reason why there is services in the marketplace, and other thing to do locally there is not much to do there if signature campaign wasn't included, managers too are part of the service so there are still thing to do or to offer even without signature campaign. They need to do some surveys and such things can be offer.

There are so many options/opportunity that you can find here in this furom even if there's no sig campaigns has been introduced here. And the choices are technical services, graphic designing, easy task hunting and other more. But don't worry sig campaigns will continue since this is one of the option of the site owners/businessman to introduced there product and services on the market.

I think that a horrible tittle to begin with,, without a link of proof about it in the first place it would be a hearsay from someone who just can't make any other topic on mind.. There are many ways to offer services in any marketplace - use your common sense than making a thread for it. You can offer to provide your skills on any field you are expert or have expertise or experience in. Designing crafting and making new software is also a necessary service and hence many coders and developers are also found to offer their work here. Even if signature campaigns were not there - bounties based on altcoins would be there if the ICOs needed them.

It so simplified they just convert a bb code in right format according to their need to market their services or products here in the forum. If this is not found then people will utilize social networks to share the information about service like writing article or blog about it. Else at top most they can give advertisement in TV channels.

Forum is just a forum where you can discuss things related to the forum but since this forum become more popular because the inventor of the bitcoin made this forum, and many bitcoin users use this forum and day by day, and month by month, so someone make this forum as an advertisement platform for their service like gambling and exchanges thats why signature campaign was made. Even there's no signature campaign here this forum will still be popular and well known. As what I said forum is for discussions and some information, and marketplace board will be the place where you will sell and buy services so if you dont have any services to offer then you should find ways to make money.

That topic was discussed before. I think at the meta section. But they can't stop it because it's helpful to community. They discussed this because a lot of spams are being posted because of sigcamps. Everyday they are listing users which labeled as a spammer. So they will be blacklisted at any signature campaign. This will help to reduce spammers.

If signature campaign was never introduced. I think social media campaign will be a good option. But still not enough to introduce the product with just few words. This forum has a high alexa ranking. Meaning, this is the fastest way that your product to be known.

You know Im a forum enthusiast prior to entering the world of bitcoin. When I encountered bitcoin and become interested to know more about this, I seek some websites or forums if there is so that I can joined the community. And then Google Search landed me here in bitcointalk.org and that is the start of my study. On the way, I encountered signature campaign and the rest is history.

Meaning you are here to learned and signature campaign is just a bonus here so you can exclude it to the purpose why you are here. So if you see no topic about it then it was just fine. After all we can learned here other ways to earn bitcoin by just doing some interaction and shared knowledge to the community.

its never part of the plan but that's the idea probably derived from some other forums particularly the forums where members are all businessmen trying to promote their own. bitcointalk is full of targeted btc users which is why its best to have promote business here. its always about promotion and existence on the internet search engines.

if signature don't exist, we could have job sites which also exist right now.

Services sub-board wasn't mainly created for Signature campaigns. In general, this place is for people who are selling their skills, and for these who are searching people to hire for a job. Also, people are posting here various smaller or bigger tasks, some social media campaigns also can be found here.
Sometimes I see people asking that forum administration would create dedicated board for signature and all other type of campaigns, something similar like Bounties sub-board in Altcoins section.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to tell, I assume you are asking what if signature campaigns never existed? you can still earn by providing your service to other users there are many ways to earn you just need to invest your time and find it, signature campaigns were never meant to be like a job its just giving people opportunity to earn a side income for making quality posts.

Nobody would suffer. It's just a side income and should remain as such. If somebody stops paying you for posting will you suffer? Like literally suffer, being unable to pay your bills?

Signature campaigns were introduced somewhere in 2013 or around that date. I saw Primedice campaign with posts dating back to 2013 and it was one of the first such programs on the forum. It got them some nice returns and helped build client base, so other startups followed the same path.

You already answered yourself. What other purposes can be the service section used ? For a lot of other services, advertising, marketing, graphic design, data entry, just like the website Freelancer is. Signature campaign give a boost to this forum when they engage on selecting only good applicants as they spark different discussions where people can learn a thing or two. I agree that if a signature campaign does not have a strong campaign manager then that signature can only bring spam and low quality posts.
