Scam methods are developing rapidly, and a person needs to be informed of all news daily and not to send money only when you are 100% certainty that you are safe. Otherwise, trade with popular platforms that will not scam you because they will lose their reputation.
Scam methods will not stop at Binance but many altcoins are not safe and you need to wait for a long time, such as 10 or 20 confirmations, to be safe.
Binance P2P is not a way to buy/sell Bitcoin as all things can be done with Bitcoin mainnet instead of using that platform.
One of the aspects that make people prefer the Binance is the low fees. saving a few dollars in tx fees may lead you to lose your money.
This is just good old method of taking advantage of one's greed. There is nothing new about it. Plus, I don't think this is binance's fault either, when you do p2p you are on your own. |

It depends on the security of the staking contract, and they are indeed audited but still nothing guarantees 100% safety.
You can also stake through binance, it will save you gas fees, risk remains there still.

Anyone here using Trust Wallet? On the website it says it's a decentralized and fully open source wallet (I have not checked the code) where individual has a full control over their assets. But the problem is it does not allow to export (or even view) private keys, so how safe and secure this wallet actually is?
I would not trust or use Trust wallet and I would switch to some open source alternative wallets like Electrum for Bitcoin, but if you want to have support for multiple coins you can do that with Trezor hardware wallet, because there is no open source software wallet doing that. You can export and see your recovery phrase that you can use to recover your funds in any other wallet following this steps: - Open your Trust Wallet - Click on Settings - Click on Wallets - Click on the 3 dots You can also follow the guide to backup your recovery phrase or private key: https://community.trustwallet.com/t/backup-your-recovery-phrase-or-private-key/81996or use this video instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQaMYZhsq6gIf you gonna extract the pvk from wallet that you don't deem secure then it defeats the purpose of security. Everything is flying these days, I doubt these days will last, make sure to withdraw profits, you never know when market will fall face first. Just a word of advise from 2k17 experience  It will last maybe last forever. Bitcoin is breaking another ATH again and i think people are strongly hold their position and waiting for the stabilization for bitcoin price to come again. So many people have been creating thread about the fall of crypto that will be the same as 2018 but it's not yet happening right now. Is there something wrong with it? the fact that crypto has become even stronger than before. Thanks for institutional investors. Well, I do agree that we are in better place than last 2k17 bubble but still this was/is a sharp rise and I expect correction sooner or later. We had many good news lately to pump the price, the opposite can also happen and you know the result. |
