4321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market conditions. on: June 06, 2019, 06:02:53 PM
Does anyone know the reason in these 2 days, why is the market experiencing a sharp decline. Will the red color continue, or only for a moment and then change to green. Give your honest opinion and knowledge. Let's discuss with a cool mind, waiting for positive news.
 Thank you.
So far I have heard/read that the price drop was due to a small manipulation. A whale sold around 25,160 BTC (the price was around $215 million during that time). This has caused a huge price drop. High chances the same person bought back most of the coins to make some quick profit out of it. The sudden drop has cause some panic among the investors, thus as of now we can see the price being quite unstable and jumping betweek $7,500 to & $7,900.
4322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Factors to consider to pick the best altcoin on: June 05, 2019, 07:34:38 PM
Not a newbie but new in the altcoin space. I'm trying to find out some altcoin to invest a little amount. Suggest me some factors to consider before picking a coin. I am holding BTC and ETH as of now.
Both ETH and BTC are safe and reliable. I would suggest you to stick most of your investment on those coins. Other than that, go to coinmarketcap. Check for the top 20 currencies. Look out for coins that has potential to grow. Invest on those coins. You might find some coins with extremely high percentage rise in 24 hours. Those are just some shit coins being manipulated by the developers. Avoid those coins.
4323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges for newbies. Does it exist? on: June 05, 2019, 07:31:35 PM
Hello, I'm a newbie for all this crypto stuff, but I have some extra money and I'd like to tr trading. Could u please recommend me some exchanges for newbies? And I'd also appreciate your advice. Thank u
There are no specific exchanges that are made only for newbies. Instead you should be looking for an exchange that is secure, well known, trusted and has been in the market for a long time. Just join one of those exchange and learn how to use it by yourself. Most of the well known exchanges are easy to use and not that complicated. You can always go through their FAQ or contact their support (shitty support wouldn't deny) for further help.
4324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 05, 2019, 07:18:41 PM
You are always a newbie when you start doing something for the first time. At some point you will have to start from somewhere or else you will always remain a newbie. But looks like you are talking about new users to enter the market to make profit. Is bitcoin or other crypto currencies all about profit? Don't you think there is more to learn from crypto currencies rather than just thinking about the profit?
4325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: June 05, 2019, 06:59:56 PM
Not sure what you mean my non ICO project. There are lots of alt coins out there that were created which were either some clone of a coin or some pure shit coins. They just pop up and then dies in just few days. They are just made the developers to dump it in the market and few few bucks profit out of it. Again, ICO projects are not always a scam. There are projects out there that are actually being successful. Again there are projects out there that are just scamming the investors by running away with their money or just failing to deliver what they promised.
4326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies on: June 05, 2019, 05:17:54 PM
Hey
How about we talk about the reason that we need cryptocurrencies, day in and day out banks and governments never fail to show us the dark side , how about we light a candle on it, let's keep adding points whatever you think what makes It amazing , what makes it worthwhile to exist.

In my view , we are finally free and out of the Monopoly world , banks governments no matter democratic or not we are all controlled like puppets , our money is actually not our money , it's the money of the banks controlled by the rich people that we would never see faces of.

With cryptocurrencies we control our own deal , we can easily make it to the top , yes it does have negative times and is risky but let's be honest , who doesn't ? Even dollar was going down !
But it also gives rewards like no other.
I would say we need crypto currency more for like financial freedom and ease of transaction. Say you want to do a cross border transaction/payment. You will have to face many difficulties due to different jurisdiction and laws of the two countries. Again, the higher the amount is, the more hassle you will have to go through. Also those transactions are never instant. But with crypto currencies, this becomes quite easy though lets not forget how people can abuse this to launder money.
4327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site? on: June 04, 2019, 10:42:35 PM
I've been playing zynga poker since its launch in facebook, it's a great game and very amusing. I'm good at it and have some good strategy to win the game and earn a lot of money.

Is there a gambling site that includes poker and btc for betting? I just want to try. Please give me a 100% legit gambling site. I will ignore those people that will recommend a scam/trash site. Thanks!
Never played on any casino that actually offers zynga poker. Never actually heard of zynga poker variation. Is it like Texas Holdem? If you are interested on Video Poker, you can try Crypto-Games.net. They have been here since 2015 and one of the most reputed casino. They also offer various games that you might enjoy. Have a look! Smiley
4328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help Me Cash Out My BTC From Casino... on: June 04, 2019, 10:39:14 PM
I could use a VPN but they want a picture of I'd and a selfie with the Id.  I don't know how I was allowed, I deposited btc and it took it and I played.
They shouldn't have accepted users from the US on the first place if they didn't allow withdrawing from US. That's just an indirect way of scamming users who are unaware of their policy. Anyways, did you tell them you were from the US? I hope you didn't or they might end up making a very strong excuse and accuse you of selling your account or something. Did you read their Terms of Service?
4329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 04, 2019, 10:35:34 PM
I pay for my monthly satellite TV subscription with a bank transfer and for some obscure reason I forgot to pay it this month. I was still watching the World cup Cricket tournament, when a message popped up, saying that my account was in the arrears and they blocked my viewing.

I immediately logged into my internet Banking and checked my payment history and realized that I skipped that payment for some reason, so I made the payment and thought I would wait for a hour or two and then resume viewing. Noooot!

8 HOURS passed, I phoned the company and they informed me that the payment is not reflected on their system yet, so I waited another 4 hours and phoned them again. <still Nothing>

A whole 21 hours later the payment went through and I could continue viewing, but the match I wanted to see was finished.  Angry

If I paid with Bitcoin, this same payment would have taken less than 20 minutes at most, but unfortunately this Satelite provider does not accept Bitcoin payment for this service.  Angry
You could have added a recurring payment for your subscription. Again, if those are subscription based payment, then should they be almost instant? It looks like you are making some sort of payment transfer to their bank account to avail your subscription. That's really a poor method to accept payment and a shitty service to cancel your subscription instantly without even warning you. Your provider could just accept credit cards. They are always instant.
Yeah, bitcoin payment would be easier but then again, if you pay low fee confirmation might take ages.
4330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE GOOD AND BAD SIDES OF BOUNTIES on: June 04, 2019, 10:07:30 PM
Looks like you are saying the exact opposite of everything or are you just being sarcastic?
For newbies in the crypto business, you must Know this. make sure you never associate your exchange email with your bounty account.  make this a top priority. i advice hunters to have more than 3 gmail accounts.
No need to make 3 temp email account. Just make one and use it for your bounty program. You will receive shit tons of email. Having a lot of email for different programs might make it quite hard for you to keep track of.

1; you will definitely make lost of money campaigning for good projects.
2; you might even get rich on the long term if you are good hold and able to detect good projects.
BAD SIDE.
1; whether you like it or now, your social media accounts will recieved login threat(someone trying to login to your account from a different location)
2; hackers will also play with emails that was exposed while registering on bounties.
3; if your account is secured properly, you will lose everything. even your wallet.
Guys i just got HACKED on my hitbtc exchange account.
login location United Kingdom.
i never u.k have hackers too.
You mean "lots" of money from a campaign that has potential, right? It is hard to find such project. Don't keep your expectations high, you will end up being disappointed most of the time.
If hackers get access to your email, this means that the project developers sold your information to someone online!
You lost your coins from hitbtc, it is your fault. You should have kept your account secured with extra layer of protection.
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins and how they affect market in a longterm? on: June 04, 2019, 09:05:24 PM
I'm trying to figure what's the effect of all lost coins in a longterm

I understand all lost BTC are in blockchain, they are not "lost", but people probably forgot them or lost the private keys to access
People only says it's good because of the scarcity, our "active" BTC will value more

But all energy and efforts to generate these BTC are for nothing to?
Is there any word of the devs about this?
Do you think someday devs will discuss about?
They are lost (not lost but can not be accessed) forever. That is it. No change should be bought. Let it be like that. How would you different coins that has been lost with those coins that are stored by people for a very very long term? It creates scarcity which is actually good. All energy and efforts to generate those BTC were not a waste. Those effort can be compensated by the increase of the value due to scarcity being created.
4332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Say it again? Bitcoin transaction fees expensive? on: June 04, 2019, 08:38:47 PM
Another proof that bitcoin transactions is still very cheap, the transaction below moves $500,000 million with less than $5 fees. This is a Binance external transaction. So for those proponents who says that bitcoin fees is expensive and slow, take a look, as everything is transparent on the blockchain network.
It is cheap compared to the amount of bitcoin transferred. But, what if you want to buy, lets say something very cheap like a $10 gift card or you go to a coffee shop and want to pay using bitcoin. $3 fee for a $4 latte sounds a bit too much. Pay less fee and wait for like an hour for a coffee? No thanks.
4333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies don't want to learn on: June 03, 2019, 07:58:28 PM
That is so naive of you to think that all those "newbie" users are different person. They are actually all the same person. One guy creates multiple accounts to farm those rewards from different signature campaign and bounty rewards. Fortunately, the new merit system is limiting those users from spreading their virus (read spam) in the forum.
Again, there are users who just heard about bitcointalk and how they can earn from here. They just jump into the forum to earn some dusts as quickly as possible for which they don't even bother going to the forum rules.
4334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: June 01, 2019, 03:15:33 PM
Yup, it is supposed to increase. Before crypto currencies existed, people were restricted from gambling because of various laws and stuffs. But, after crypto currencies started to pop out, crypto casinos also began to develop. It has now become easier for people to gamble online because they no longer have to go through those formal procedures (like know you customer form and other verification) to gamble on those crypto casino. They can now gamble from their home without exposing their identity on those casinos. In other words, ease of gambling because of crypto currencies has caused the rise of online gambling.
4335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: June 01, 2019, 03:03:08 PM
So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. Lets go guys Roll Eyes
Never met anyone personally, but I have seen a lot of people actually winning more than 1 BTC in online crypto casino. Just head over to crypto-games.net, go to top player tab and click on most profit. You will see users that made most profit on the site over there. Check this guy out. He made a total of 11 BTC profit back in 2017 (when the price was around $15,000 USD)!
4336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in holo coin? on: June 01, 2019, 01:24:07 PM

Well!! Did you know?

Holochain is performing absolutely well in the crypto market, it has gained the momentum and it is on the right track.
According to holochain price prediction by coinpedia the price of holochain will go up in upcoming years.

What's your point of view on holochain price prediction?
Not sure if you are advertising for this coin or you really want to know if its a good coin to invest in or not. To be honest, I think its a shit coin. Never really heard of those coin. The prediction are all bullshit. Don't fall for it. Better to invest your money on some well known coins. At least you won't be suffering huge loss.
4337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: June 01, 2019, 07:00:50 AM
Bitcoin is not money.

It is more an artwork with 21,000,000 limited editions. And each limited edition contains 100,000,000 limited pieces. (satoshis)
If that's how you describe bitcoin, then how would you describe dollars and other fiat currencies? According to you, those are also some artwork sketch of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln and other presidents. It is just that those paper notes are not limited edition and unlimited amount of those notes can be printed Sad. And don't you think limited editions are better than just the regular?
4338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: May 31, 2019, 10:23:07 PM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
You probably don't know how these ICOs operate. ICOs failing and ICOs scamming are two different things. If the ICO after raising enough money, stops developing the project, isn't that a sort of scamming the investors? Again, there are ICOs that collect funds from the users and then run away with the users fund. There are ICOs where the developers behind the back of their investors dump the tokens they are holding causing the price to drop which also affects the current investors. True, not all ICOs are scam but most of them are. Failing to deliver what they promised is also a sort of scamming. Why make promises which you can not deliver?
4339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: May 31, 2019, 09:01:02 PM
we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?
First of all, I don't think bitcoin is ever going to die until a vulnerability is found which can never be fixed or something new came out that makes the current crypto currencies obsolete. If any of these two thing occur, bitcoin will die (though chance of them occurring is extremely low). Other alt coins will also follow the trend and will eventually wipe out of the market.
4340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site on: May 31, 2019, 08:37:33 PM
There are books on how to build altcoins but I don't see any in-depth guidance on how to build a gambling site.
It seems to be all trial and error.
If you know of any technique or site or forum I would appreciate hearing about it.
It is not that easy to build a gambling site. You could use some premade scripts and stuffs for your casino but they are no way secure enough. Again, those will be some generic scripts and you won't be attracting many people. This is not a simple thing to do. You will have to plan and manage a lot of thing before you will be able to make something out of your casino. But then again, there are loads of well known crypto casino which means you will have to outsmart your competitors by providing something unique. There is no reason for someone to join a new casino that can not provide something new that is not available on the current known casinos.
