4321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos on: March 11, 2016, 03:48:06 PM
Its not that smart to invest in some Bitcoin casinos. Because you will always lose more money than you win.
Investing into the bankroll =/ gambling at the casino

And that is very bad. People must know that gambling is very bad and it is all wasted money.

Bump for HODLING.
4324  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: March 11, 2016, 01:44:28 PM
I assume the payout in dollars stays about the same when bitcoin doubles, right? So why would a cheaper bitcoin be better for us users in a campaign? Yes you get more bitcoins, but no you can't buy more with it. So why does it matter?
HODLING

Also, having open debts noted in BTC probably encourages that wish.

HEY ADMIN! IT WONT LET ME FUCKING WITHDRAW MY MONEY?! WTF IS THIS?!
I've set an extremely skilled team of crypto and forex trading, aswell as PoS experts on the question.
They described themselves with the following: "we are the group of professional traders and skilled analysts"
My team came up with 4 possible answers to your question, you can now choose from.

Is there a thread about the new forum and when its coming?
More like a whole child-board in this Meta section than just a thread.
New forum software.
4327  Economy / Digital goods / Re: SELL - ptp (passthepopcorn.me) invite - 25$ on: March 11, 2016, 12:38:18 PM
for sure scammer. please use middleman when dealing with this guy
Or don't deal with him at all, because this right here is violating the forum rules.
Have a nice read over there, on an often forgotten forum rule:
Sales of accounts and invites to invite-only sites

you failed at censoring this, mate.
Also that estimate is way more than anyone will be willing to pay for the account, given the current market and it's very poor post quality.

Did anyone try to send some abuse report to the host of the fake website i think this could help and get it suspended because this is very bad and dangerous.
Like escrow.ms tired to do back in May 2014? You can try to, good luck with it.

I just got this email delivered to my inbox with title "Changing your forum password is recommended."

Because scams aren't moderated.

I Deposited a small amount, like 3-4 dollar. A little more than needed to buy a level 2 building.
Psst, spoiler alert: You were scammed.

4333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos on: March 11, 2016, 07:57:59 AM
i have to say investing at just-dice is wise.
why is it wise? whether the investment in the gambling sites we can get profit very much exceeds the money we invest ??
Not unless the whole bankroll is doubled because of a very sore loser. But it does provide you with a viable source of 'income' if you are looking to invest in a legitimate investment.
The bankroll over at just-dice grows from staking clams rather than from anyone gambling/losing to the house (at least in scale, the staking part is significantly bigger).
Now there are of course more factors coming in, like the current clam price and its fluctuation, aswell as a few others.
4334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anywhere to Gamble Ethereum? on: March 11, 2016, 07:51:37 AM
I could not understand when you are able to exchange/convert your altcoins to bitcoin, what is the need of searching for altcoin accepting services or gambling.
Other than this, if gambling houses also provide exchange services within their site, they will not be loosing an altcoin gambler.
I guess you bring an idea to gambling owners. But eventually it may turn to combine a different business within gambling. Still, many gamblers with alt coins would love it.
That's actually not quite a new idea (at least not to us).

4336  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have 45$ paypal need btc on: March 11, 2016, 06:05:04 AM
It doesn`t matter if you go first or not, because pp is easily reversible.
Escrow or no?
If the escrow doesn't hold the funds for 180 days or even longer, there's no protection the escrow can provide agains the payment being reversed later.
Escrows can only bring little protection into PayPal deals, the risk of reversing stays even with using an escrow, there's only so far they can protect you.
Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services.
4337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AWARE PHISHING BITCOINTALK.ORG SITE BY USER gvuandrew on: March 11, 2016, 04:29:35 AM
Would be nice if theymos could make those links unclickable or just kill those messages outright.
We have those "[suspicious link removed]" boxes for some links, I think those bitcointaIk.org links should be added to that list.
A meta discussion about this exact subject was already started by SebastianJu over here.
4338  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Physical coins on: March 11, 2016, 04:14:26 AM
We've got a whole section dedicated to physical coins, the Collectibles subforum.
You'll find a lot more enthusiasts over there, than here in the plain bitcoin discussion board.

If you want to see a nice collection, check the one Mitchell aquired.
4339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AWARE PHISHING BITCOINTALK.ORG SITE BY USER gvuandrew on: March 11, 2016, 04:10:35 AM
True but I never knew who was behind it.Or maybe the best thing I thought we could do is negative rep the user ?
If the PM is real, he probably gets banned for it.

Same goes to you, report that PM straigth to a mod.

I've left a negative feedback for now.
Don't really think it's gonna make a big difference (newbies already get those big red warnings over their PMs), but anything that might help.
4340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anywhere to Gamble Ethereum? on: March 11, 2016, 04:04:19 AM
Don't go for any shapeshift implementation or something similar, choose a site natively accepting ETH.
I'd (obviously) suggest the already named crypo-games.net in that case.
You can test it with faucet before depositing, if you're not sure.
Give it a try Smiley
