Hey guys! Interested in purchasing one of the S1 antminers.
Some questions though:
Does it come with a power supply?
And will any Wifi antenna work on it?
Are they loud?
Thanks.
Also. Site only seems to want to sell me 2 miners at a time.. Any way around this?
If you live close to New Jersey USA. I would order two and send one to you. they are pretty loud if you over clock. you cam undervolt and under clock https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526060.0 solves heat and sound issues they need a psu. I have a few extra quality psu's To anyone reading the thread. I could use an s-1 coupon. I sent out an s-2 and did not get the s-1 back yet from miniMiner. Not saying he is a bad guy. But I could use an s-1. Since I have the better trust I would like the s-1 up front. I still have some s-2's on hand to trade. Note please send the s-1 first. And quote this post. So I do not get a dozen s-1 coupon's Do you still need that coupon or someone send it already? I have two left. I still need the s-1 philipma1957 on bitmaintech. You've got it (ID: biotechvictim) thanks.. okay no more s-1 coupons are needed. and miniMiner please let me know about the s-1 you still owe to me---------- this is corrected thanks broAll squared away. thanks again.

Yeah I guess all of the company profits weren't reinvested in Project Prime, some went to project Buy Josh A Ferrari. :lol At least you picked the right Ferrari...maybe when the new GAW ASICs ship you'll be able to upgrade to a McLaren? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I should really start selling shovels instead of getting my hands dirty down the pit.... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Have not made a dime from this company yet (I wish), in fact, I have personally invested close to 1m to help lock in a low price for all your new miners ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have build and sold many other successful companies ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Sorry if it didn't come across, my comments were supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. Much respect Josh, as someone who has built and sold a software company I know it's nothing like as easy as people think, not begrudging you the rewards that come from all that work in the slightest! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I am of course envious of your 458 but it at least shows you have taste! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) From my personal experience I can say GAW are a great company to do business with, and how open and interactive you are with the community is very refreshing. Keep up the great work mate. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) (NB: Cynics, I was not paid to write that recommendation ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif) ) Why does literally every post saying something good about GAW also say "I was not paid to write this" I have been around on this site long before GAW. I have had more the 2k in orders with GAW. They make a lot of mistakes with the orders, but they fix the mistakes. So far they have paid me about 300 usd for the errors they made with my 2k in orders. So they did pay me for errors they made!As I type I am still attempting to get the latest error fixed. This is a small error I was offered a $10 coupon. Four separate times. Only one coupon was honored. While 3x $10 coupons seem to be very small problem. It does become annoying. My ebay business works do to my ability to offer very low prices for gear. Last year I learned how to sell Asic's buy multiple orders in small amounts every time the price drops. This way you never get stuck with big price cuts. Never buy in bulk China will under cut you before the order arrives. So when I get an offer for a 10 coupon on two $60 dollar gridseeds. Or when I get an offer on one 60 dollars gridseed. I want that coupon. They have yet to correct this latest mistake. I do not mind the mistakes as they have fixed them . The prices work and I continue to sell my pair of gridseeds with a brick cables and custom software on ebay at a small profit. They are suffering from too much volume too few workers. This makes for quality control issues. At least they try to fix the problems. I only wish that 1 of 5 orders were wrong not 5 of 7. I will still continue to use them. Hopefully they will fix this coupon issue after reading this. I will then order more gridseeds. COMPARE TO BFL and it is a joke as GAW is next to GOD or at least Superman. Good Josh {GAW} please show up evil Josh {BFL} Give me the coupon so I can buy the gridseeds.

Cool - just checking on the thread and catching up on PM's.
I need lots of chips for the NF6's, and might put in order for 2600 chips (they come in a 10 pack of 2,600 or 1 packs of 260 from bitfurystrikesback, 10 pack is cheaper). IS there anyone else needing chips? If I get a few PM's back (or on the thread, but I don't want to thread jack), I probably can handle 600-1000 extra chips for others here. I would also ship your chips with my chips to the group here for assembly.
Are you going to have a group buy for these 6 chip units? Fully assembled ready to ship? I would not call it a group buy, but some will be for sale on moonlightminer.com. A limited supply. I was not going to sell any but the assembly service had ended up being very small. So I will sell 20-30. We expect them to be done and ready to ship the first week of June. I would take a pair.

Hmm: http://bitsolo.net/pool-stats/Found Blocks None. Currently, no one on Bitsolo has found a Bitcoin block ...
The pool is merge mining NMC coins and has currently found 1 NMC block
Agreed, I don't trust that solo mining pool. It would be VERY easy for the pool operator to simply keep any blocks that are found without paying out anything. If you don't trust that site, there's also this one: https://solopool.net/login.phpAt least there's a registration process. Not everything you see is a scam, fellas! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Neither pool has found a block, which makes sense, because most of the users are pointing U2s or block erupters at it. A few TH/s is not going to find a block anytime soon. I agree that the pools could be legit, but without knowing anything about the pool operator it is impossible to make an informed decision about whether or not the pool is trustworthy. There have been many situations in the past where pool operators stole pool funds and disappeared. Since solo mining is not likely to produce any blocks unless you are running some serious horsepower, it would be very easy for pool ops to steal solved blocks. If there was an independent way to audit the pool, I would not have an issue with it. I contacted the pool's contact us page. Told him I pointed 2 s-1s at it. he has not replied to me as of yet. 2 s-1's at todays difficulty are 1100 to 1 to win a block. usd value is more then 11k. very tempting for a guy to create a pool then grab the coins. I would set one of these up fee would be 1 coin if you win a solo block, but setting one up is beyond my skill set.

okay if it is the case that it was orphaned I emptied the address down to zero. So have I may moved the problem to a new address. I will need to look more carefully at the blocks involved.

well they have 6.4th 6.4th should get a block once every 68.7 days. at todays diff. look below it would earn .3635 in a day so .3635 x 68.7 = 24.972 you need to make an assumption = this is a legit pool correctly run ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimagizer.imageshack.us%2Fv2%2F1600x1200q90%2F834%2Fba2x.png&t=663&c=cR10hoor2cdTMw)

Ok, I have a 1Th/s S2 Antminer and while I am enjoying its returns currently, I want to enter the lottery and solo mine bitcoins and other coins from time to time.
Q - Has anyone to date, been able to configure this mining machine to solo mine? I have tried every combination I can think of but to no avail. I can get it to go live on my local IP connecting to Bitcoin-Qt but it does not hash and the beepers sounds after about 1 minute.
I have even contacted Bitmain but they have not been helpful at all.
Any advice appreciated at this point (APART FROM POOL ADDICTS WHO WILL ADVISE NOT TO SOLO MINE)
Buy a few s-1's . with your risking taking set of courage (ie balls) it is a good idea you can get 2 for .92btc if you have coupons 2 for .82btc if you undervolt and under clock them to 150gh and 200 watts. you solo mine with 300gh. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526060.0 this is the under volt under clock thread. if you do take this on and get the s-1s working as solo miners please let us know. I have 7 s-1's I do not know how to solo mine them. I would not mind running 1 or 2 as solo miners. An easy way to solo mine is point them here: http://bitsolo.net/Thank you. I pointed 1 of 7 s-1's at it. for those that want to get an idea. of what the chances are for 1 s-1 at todays diff. here is what you do. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficultygo to the above link punch in 200gh or 180gh if you are not overclocking. in 1 day you should earn .01136 btc you want a block or 25 coins so divide 25 by .01136 you get 2200.7 to 1 chance of getting one today. to those of you that understand investing vs gambling is solo mining today with an s-1 an investment or a gamble? to chuckbuck thank you. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimagizer.imageshack.us%2Fv2%2F1600x1200q90%2F835%2Fz7pq.png&t=663&c=usQZl9LgPyBLLw)

so grue p2p is new to me . Stands for peer to peer and there is no operator correct.
The warning never leaves?
I know the coin amount is tiny under .015 maybe .012 I have paid more 1btc in extra fees since I opened the address since the address has 600 or more transactions and I pay .001 to .002 on each transaction .
It is a bit frustrating if it never leaves.

Hello! First you need to know that im completely new in this... i am trying to use bitminer 1.6.0 and my hashrate is 0.09 and around 100 Mhps ( i have MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr Gaming OC).. i know that nvidia GPU are not good for mining but i dont think that they are that bad... o.O... so i wanted to ask you for help.. i dont know if it is normal or i fu*ked something up... thanks for your time
first off gpuming no longer works as a profit for mining btc. the best gpu will do about .8gh and spend 300 watts. If you want to learn to mine do not spend 300 watts 24/7/365 to learn about mining. buy your self a nano fury usb stick it will do about 2-2.4gh and spend 4 watts you are spending a ton of energy to teach yourself mining. you do not need to do that. also bitminter has a thread that answer lots of questions on mining. I advise a nano fury or an ice fury as they are lowe cost and do not need drivers. you can use bfgminer to mine on bitminter. it is easy to do. there are a few threads on ice fury sticks and nano fury sticks. most likely you will not profit with a nano fury stick even if you spend 20 dollars to get one. it may never earn the 20 back. but at least you will not spend a lot of power or money learning the game.
