Hmm: http://bitsolo.net/pool-stats/Found Blocks None. Currently, no one on Bitsolo has found a Bitcoin block ...
The pool is merge mining NMC coins and has currently found 1 NMC block
well they have 6.4th 6.4th should get a block once every 68.7 days. at todays diff. look below it would earn .3635 in a day so .3635 x 68.7 = 24.972 you need to make an assumption = this is a legit pool correctly run

Agreed, I don't trust that solo mining pool. It would be VERY easy for the pool operator to simply keep any blocks that are found without paying out anything.

If you don't trust that site, there's also this one: https://solopool.net/login.phpAt least there's a registration process. Not everything you see is a scam, fellas! Neither pool has found a block, which makes sense, because most of the users are pointing U2s or block erupters at it. A few TH/s is not going to find a block anytime soon.

I agree that the pools could be legit, but without knowing anything about the pool operator it is impossible to make an informed decision about whether or not the pool is trustworthy. There have been many situations in the past where pool operators stole pool funds and disappeared. Since solo mining is not likely to produce any blocks unless you are running some serious horsepower, it would be very easy for pool ops to steal solved blocks. If there was an independent way to audit the pool, I would not have an issue with it.

There's always the Bitcoind route, but alot of people (myself included) like to copy-paste into web gui and mine to a pool in a minute or less. We spoiled!

Have total of 37 Coupons for Antminer S2. Donating! at 0.09 BTC each. Just PM me.
And 32 coupons for Antminer S1 Donating at 0.06 each Just Pm me
About what amount are your S1 coupons? I thought only 0.05 coupons are available atm, so a donation of 0.06 would not make much sense

Ok, I have a 1Th/s S2 Antminer and while I am enjoying its returns currently, I want to enter the lottery and solo mine bitcoins and other coins from time to time.
Q - Has anyone to date, been able to configure this mining machine to solo mine? I have tried every combination I can think of but to no avail. I can get it to go live on my local IP connecting to Bitcoin-Qt but it does not hash and the beepers sounds after about 1 minute.
I have even contacted Bitmain but they have not been helpful at all.
Any advice appreciated at this point (APART FROM POOL ADDICTS WHO WILL ADVISE NOT TO SOLO MINE)
Buy a few s-1's . with your risking taking set of courage (ie balls) it is a good idea you can get 2 for .92btc if you have coupons 2 for .82btc if you undervolt and under clock them to 150gh and 200 watts. you solo mine with 300gh. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526060.0 this is the under volt under clock thread. if you do take this on and get the s-1s working as solo miners please let us know. I have 7 s-1's I do not know how to solo mine them. I would not mind running 1 or 2 as solo miners. An easy way to solo mine is point them here: http://bitsolo.net/Thank you. I pointed 1 of 7 s-1's at it. for those that want to get an idea. of what the chances are for 1 s-1 at todays diff. here is what you do. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficultygo to the above link punch in 200gh or 180gh if you are not overclocking. in 1 day you should earn .01136 btc you want a block or 25 coins so divide 25 by .01136 you get 2200.7 to 1 chance of getting one today. to those of you that understand investing vs gambling is solo mining today with an s-1 an investment or a gamble? to chuckbuck thank you. I've got my U2's solo mining playing the lottery. Not worth using 'em for actual hashing anymore.

Told him I pointed 2 s-1s at it. he has not replied to me as of yet. 2 s-1's at todays difficulty are 1100 to 1 to win a block. usd value is more then 11k. very tempting for a guy to create a pool then grab the coins. I would set one of these up fee would be 1 coin if you win a solo block, but setting one up is beyond my skill set.

Can we move the coupon discussion to one of the two available forums (one for free coupons, one for those who wants to sell)? Re S2, can someone post about how noisy they are (preferably in db, but also in relative terms as well) to evaluate possible location for units? Same room, basement, garage, another building.

Probably just needs someone to start a thread on it. Edit: Oh I see what you mean, there already is a forum for this, my apologies. I have one S2 coupon to give away. Holy cow! That's freaking loud!
68-70dB is Busy traffic, phone ringtone type loud. I found, because the are 140mm fans the sound is quite low pitched. But the sound of air moving at 100cfm is going to make some noise no matter what you do.
