4341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What did you look out for before investing in an altcoin? on: July 01, 2020, 09:58:21 PM
Do you mean that Alts are already listed on the market or still in ICO phase?

If you do talk about choosing alts that are already listed in the market then i dont bother much and just simply stick out
to the current top rank ones specially if you do make short tradings but in talks of long term aspect then those steps
above you do had mentioned are worthy for you to check on.

Some projects might have their price into the floor but you can eventually presume out that they do have a potential
depending into its real world usage and the activeness of the team behind it.
4342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Home Court advantage = Not an advantage now because of no-live audience? on: July 01, 2020, 09:19:33 PM
It is true that playing at home court is no longer an advantage, because a pandemic situation requires matches without a live audience.
But this is not an obstacle for players to give the best game, then for me it is not a problem just watching sports on television. The most
important thing is i can watching sports again after quarantine. And of course i can play sports betting again.

For some team players, the audience can give them more power to provide the best performance. They will miss the shouting of the audience that always provide support to them, no matter if they win or lose because the fan or audience knows that they already play well. Yes, it is good to hear that sports can continue in this pandemic, but the staff at the stadium must be careful.

I wonder what stats will be released after this pandemic period regarding the home advantage among sports events. I think the results will not be significant as the performance depends on the player himself. Other factors are only in minimal impact regarding the final outcome.

There would be changes but it would really be just minimal and you're right where winning would always matter on players performance even though several factors
had been changed due to this current situation we are into but it doesnt mean that it will really be a big or major problem to them. Some might see this issue as a general
one but basing of numbers it wont really be that much yet players can play neither they are in home or away. People can just say that they are on advantage since
people or crowd do cheer up and help out some boost in terms of emotion but overall this is just too small to consider.
4343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: July 01, 2020, 08:44:24 PM
As far as I know there are only a few ways for anyone to get access into your funds if you don't transfer them mistakenly to another address. (or by malware to change address in clipboard).

And the most common one is phishing attacks. That's how usually people get hacked.
They aren't just exposing their account and password to the hackers but including the private keys.
One effective action to counter this is to have a separate email password and If the wallet has an option to log-out to all of the device to delay the hacker's operation.
That's how people will realize the importance of 2FA and OTP's sent to emails before sending out to any addresses.
In addition, there is a very high level of security in those wallets where commands are duplicated for confirmation, namely, a code is sent to e-mail, a code is sent to a phone number and, accordingly, Google authentication.

Right! and well, talking about a high level of security then you need to familiarize and enable these layers of security from your wallet.
I have a local custodial wallet, and I won't be worried If somebody else is accessing my account, because first; I get notified through email about an unrecognized log-in from different device or on different location. Second, they need the OTP sent to my email again to proceed any actions that involves cashing out from the wallet. Lastly, I'll be receiving a text message from this custodial wallet confirming/denying of transactions.
So, as you can see breaching an account isn't easy as long as you won't be as dumb as giving out essential infos including email password or using only one password from your web accounts, wallet accounts, down to your email address.

There are really custodial wallets which is really hard to breach of but be sure that those emails of yours wont really be compromised unless if you set out multiple
verifications from email to phone number then thats already a hard thing for them to breach on.It depends on an individual on how they do secure out their accounts
because some people doesnt really mind too much when it comes to security or simply they do become concern when they already experienced some loss of funds.
4344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: July 01, 2020, 08:13:46 PM
the project you promote 2years back can still come up and give you awesome reward, delays takes place sometimes that makes project team keep postponing listing on exchanges,  imagine promoting a project in 2018 paid you big reward in 2020 after you've already zero your mind that it's over? I want bounty hunters in the house to verify this, true or false??

Anyways, do not underestimate projects you promote a year or two years ago, they can still pay up and secondly do not leave or exit their telegram channel no matter how many years it's been, if you do you might be denied of your rewards

Not at all and when you get paid after all the years of waiting then pretty sure that majority arent really that expecting for them to received those tokens
yet they already had moved on after all the long  time that you havent paid up.In this case that they do still sent out your reward then that will give out
some good feeling but are you sure that those tokens would be still worth of? No it wont! It will always vary on the demand and if in luck if that
project pushes out then that will be an unexpected profit for you.
4345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange do you think has the lowest withdrawal fee for Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2020, 11:59:04 PM
Dont know if these threads had been updated or not.

Just one tip, if you do find out that BTC withdrawal fee then you can easily switch up or convert it to
other alts like XRP yet they do have very small fee.
4346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Gonna be volatile again! Nothing New though on: June 30, 2020, 11:28:07 PM

BTC can touch 9.4K. Tomorrow 1 month & 3 month candle will be closed. So the market may be volatile! And So Always play with safety I mean must use stoploss in trading!Happy Trading Everybody!

Basing of with technicals then it can possibly hit up that level but theres no precise thing on when it would able to touch on such duration that you had given.
Its either it would go to that path or would go oppositely on said duration. Market is always been volatile, it might be moving sideways but doesnt mean it
wont move nor budge a little.Of course we need to play safe specially if we are an active trader but for hodler or long term ones then this wont really be that
much as an issue.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most difficult use cases to trust in crypto space today on: June 30, 2020, 10:53:24 PM

The truth is this use cases requires good proof to investors before they can actually belief that the projects are real, many have lost money to fake real estate projects and fake tokens claimed to be backed by real gold
Not only to those 2 things that you had mentioned but also in all sorts of things that been tied up with Crypto where those scammy devs trying out to set unrealistic goals
which they do cover it up with traditional investments that we've known and when the time noob investors do able to read it up then they do have that kind of pulling effect
that they must invest into this stuff since it do mention about real-estate or gold. There are lots of industries being used up not only this 2 things.
4348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 30, 2020, 10:19:33 PM
But basically it's just the same as producing panic buying because it is the scenario about the drama that keeps more people out of control and FOMO continues to increase. No wonder when they become FOMO because when prices are high they only think it will generate profits, because at the same time they are not aware of the decline that will surely occur in this crypto market when they have reached high prices.

Yeah, that's why I said that the time to get out of the trade is what matters here as in most cases, those who FOMO'ed in, do it when the price rises just around 10-20% and they have got higher chances of gaining some good profits compared to those getting in when it's already high at around 50-100%. The buy side gets exhausted and that's when you need to start getting out of your position immediately because you rarely get the chance to sell during the exhaustion period.

The question is you wouldnt able to point out on what percentage you do able to get in in the market. You cant spot out that you do able to buy in 20% rise or some sort
because theres no such way on knowing the precise time you do able to get yourself into the hype or fomoing market. This is why its really hard to deal with it and
be sure on making yourself not able to become greedy in this kind of time. Always set goals and percentage profits and never go beyond with that and thats the way you can utilize of
on a fomo'ing market.
4349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum the only altcoin worth(even a little) to mine at the moment? on: June 30, 2020, 09:43:50 PM
Hello all,

I was lately checking the options for minable altcoins and apart from ETH I couldn't see anything else worth mining at the time being. I know that mining is almost dead now, but considering a future altcoins price increase, Ethereum seems the safest bet.

When ETC 2 come, then things may change.

What alternative options would you consider for altcoin mining?

If you have a good CPU you should mine Monero. No specialised miners needed beside decent CPU.

Never did mined any coin but thanks to let us know i will tried with monero the first time!
Yes you can possibly mine XMR with CPU but expect that you would just earn pennies in spite on spending long hours on using up your pc processor.
You can check out on minergate but dont let your hopes gets too high because it isnt feasible on mining it with least resources but if you are just mining
for the sake of exploring or educational purposes then its worth to try it out.

In topic where we do talk about ETH mining. Yeah its worth but all things varies on electricity cost in your place.
4350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: June 30, 2020, 09:06:08 PM

All-in-all, it seems like a massively over-engineered solution for the problem of not double checking the address you enter. Why would I go through all this effort when I could instead just spend 10 seconds to make sure the address is correct? Not to mention that your transaction is now entirely dependent on a third party.

Was actually trying to say the same stuff on why the hell i would go to all of those process if you can just simply check the address carefully before sending out and
most wallets now do have that verification like input password or some sort before you do able to send such fund on other wallets. Getting rid of human error
is somewhat impossible no matter how you do made up some changes and also this one isnt really that relevant nor needed at all. Its too hassle on my part
or pretty sure in most people too.
4351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question about Speculation on: June 30, 2020, 08:36:56 PM
Hello, few minutes ago price of BTC went from 8700$ to 9000$

I haven't searched it here neither googled it but how and why does this happen? Sorry if it sounds stupid. Does it have to do with buying? Did many people bought bitcoins that time? That's why it got increased?

It all matters with Supply and demand!

In simple Economics class then when theres demand then there would be significant change in price and if theres none then expect neither it would
go down or would be moving sideways. This is why we do have traders which do trade up crypto neither they would come after for a rise or would
wait for a fall down. This had been always like this and in order to make up some bucks then speculative analysis is always been a common thing.
4352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: June 29, 2020, 11:36:45 PM
Why binance called world largest BTC exchange?
1: the highest security is available in binance compared to the other crypto exchange?
2: Generate high volume in the altcoin?
3: best ieo launcher? Compared to the other exchange?

What is your opinion? Drop your experiences & Opinion?
I can only say that you need to have time to buy BNB tokens))) The exchange is top-end and I often trade on it. I like a lot of functionality and a nice interface, which became even better after the update.
Yes, after the last update, the Binance exchange interface is more incredible to me. I can't find any issues when I use this exchange. Of course Binance exchange is the best IEO launcher. Every time I use this exchange, I don't need to wait for long to sell or buy any coins. Binance exchange has the highest real volume. Every exchange has some security problems, but Binance solves the security problem very quickly.
Issues that can be experience isnt really something surprising for any platforms to experience on.The thing here is that they do know how to resolve it as quickly as they can
and we have seen on how binance able to manage such stuff when they do experienced that breach wayback before. Trust isnt really something that can really be gained
easily by a platform. I remember those days where Binance is just starting up, they do try their best to give out the best user experience and cater all the needs and
now we do able to see on how far they've become.
4353  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 29, 2020, 11:11:51 PM
Well, it will surprise you to know that staking is another form of investment. However, staking does not require huge collateral as in masternodes hence it makes it quite easier for more people to invest with in it. If you are looking for platforms to stake then I will recommend MyContainer platform. It's very secured and easy to use.
Staking is dead!

Excluding those new coins that do exist in the market and just stick out with Dash https://www.stakingrewards.com/asset/dash/calculate
Then you can definitely say that this one wont really be an ideal way of increasing up your profit yet rewards wont really be felt that much if you
cant put up big amounts and so as with other similar staking projects out there. This one is considered as an investment too and i dont know
why it being separately categorized.
4354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BitKKTex - Anyone heard of this new exchange? on: June 29, 2020, 10:31:28 PM
Why are people using exchanges that are less known to people? It's like people still don't do research on projects before jumping in still, so surprising, I can't even do anything online as a newbie without doing some real research because research is the only thing that can keep you safe online, it's a shame how people take stupid risks this days

People are different in any ways and does have different mindsets and perceptions towards things thats why they do really end up on different path even though its already
an obvious thing that this one is a scam but there are who are really gambling out to use the service in spite on lacking any feedback or directly engage with it just because
they have found it on a simple google search without making any verification yet.

Just let them be and dont stress out because they would eventually learn a lesson once they do able to experience loss of funds due to scam websites.
4355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: June 29, 2020, 09:33:49 PM
Mistakes in  trading are bad for us but yes it is not wrong not everyone make mistake, But if you can fix these mistakes in this trading market then you can be deceived again and again. people learn from mistake. But it is useless to make the mistake again and again.

I am sure that there are no traders who do not make mistakes. At the same time, at the first stage of familiarization with trading, these errors are much greater than later. For some, these errors are fatal, which leads to the loss of the Deposit and the termination of trading. Others learn a lesson that later helps them make the right decisions.
Experience is the best teacher as we do all know. Losses are inevitable things and its up a to person if he would accept such mistake and learn from it.

We cant really learn up everything on our first try and as we move forward we do gain that knowledge that we do need of to sustain this unpredictable market.

it's natural that someone has a mistake when trading, I've also experienced it, I lost $ 100 just because I could not hold my emotions and did not determine the right position
Being a noob, then its no surprise and each people would really have the same experience when they are just starting up.
Important here is that we do know on how to accept and try your best to avoid such mistake again.
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: June 29, 2020, 08:58:03 PM
as a project investor you must be wiser before investing in a project and will never open your wallet for any project without thinking about it 10 times or even 20 times. At that time or precisely in 2017, almost all ICOs were seen as potentially profitable companies and people assumed that there would never be an end to the boom that occurred in the entire cryptocurrency market. And then reality struck.

Today, the landscape has changed a lot and those who are burning leave the market completely or they continue but with a different mindset emerging from an unforgettable and sometimes regrettable experience. Investors demand more information and they want to be given real facts only because of the inclusion of the IEO project in a leading exchange. In 2019, it might be rather difficult to distinguish trends in knowing which types of projects might be a big success because there are many factors that need to be considered, but we hope that above all investors are more mature, more demanding and more discriminatory. Once again consider before investing in a project and don't give bait to the scamers out there!
It seems to me at the moment when the communities have become huge and smart it is unlikely that you can fall for scammers. Here decisions are made collectively. In addition, you can always ask experienced investors for advice. So this situation is only pleasing. I'm glad that the crypto community is ,,growing,, up

People do become smart day by day and with people do have past experiences will surely give out advise everynow and then about investing.
Its only up to people if they would have time to read up comments and feedbacks because there are still people who are too lazy when checking up
things thats why they do end up on being wrecked because of doing such bad decisions. We can say that people are smarter these days but we
can avoid the fact that there is still dumb ones.
4357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think eSport gambling will become more popular than normal Sport betting? on: June 28, 2020, 11:50:10 PM
Why would need to compare the two? They can both become big and popular without the need on competing these two things. They have different markets yet
we know on whats virtual and physical sports.

When it comes to popularity then theres no doubt that normal sports betting do really have that but we cant deny the fact that esports is becoming more
bigger.

Good if they do yet i do even engage in between these things since i do know physical sports and some gaming ones which is really a good option for me.
4358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit scam ? Trade lost money on: June 28, 2020, 11:26:09 PM
I 'm Trade lost money, lose pennies, send support tickets, not an answer.
I'm so disappointed. I will never go back to it.
Here I warn those who trade on it.
Many years ago as of 2017, Yobit had been tagged scam exchange, they have low volume, unresponsive customer supports and other sorts of ill functionality. New traders fall victim of Yobit exchange because of lack of information.
I would only recommend you to trade on Huobi exchange, very reliable and has high liquidity. Never find your way back to Yobit any longer, sorry for the loss of your little penny, take courage and move on to other exchange I told you about.

This had been suggested and been told for years now that people shouldnt really consider on using up this platform but there are still
who do really just blindly go up to this place and later on they do murmuring and whining that they do lost up coins neither losing deposits or
withdrawals and do realize when they are already have been fucked up by yobit. Majority of the community does know on how shitty
the reputation this site is.
4359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: June 28, 2020, 09:14:08 PM
<snip>......If you gamble and it is already affecting may points in your personal life, then for me that is no longer gambling but an addiction and it needs to be treated like any forms of addiction. Stay away from addictive gambling. Just gamble to enjoy and a moment and not to get hooked with it.
When this start happening anyone at that level should ensure to seek the help of the professionals against their addiction. Negative effects from gambling could lead to huge disaster against the addict, gambling is for entertainment|fun and not for any form of revenue generation for the family or self. For those who have difficulties in gambling should rather quit their gambling life for the sake of life itself. Staying safe while gambling is the best for every gambler, any form of addiction should quickly be attend to before escalation.
It doesnt really need for any professional help of some sort yet you can solve it out on your own but most of the time people do learn when they do already experienced hardship in life.
gambling is for entertainment but people are treating it on the other way thats why they do commit up things that shouldnt really be done. Addiction is really hard to resist, it might be
easy to say on getting rid of it but when you are on the actual situation then it you wouldnt even sure if you would make yourself break into that chain.

4360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: June 28, 2020, 08:32:26 PM
I would like to try this kind of mining, year ago there is a coin who establish an HDD mining but i have no idea of this coin and also i forgot the name sorry for that. This one cough my attention and hope that you will provide the ANN if it is available. Thanks

Here is official thread of MASS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230593.0

There telegram channel is another great resource to know about MASS https://t.me/massnetorg

Did you mine this coin already? how many HDD will be needed if you want to start mining this coin? I would like to try, i have a spare HDD in my old pc i think that was a 3TB i hope this is good enough to stsrt, I just want to test the water.

I mined it in March 2020 and the reward was high at time since the coin was not on any exchange. Right now reward was gone down since coin now has good value on exchange. You can follow instructions here in order to start mining https://docs.massnet.org/en/getting-started/how-to-run-a-mainnet-wallet-node/

Approximately if im using around 7TB of HDD how many coin Im gonna minted per day? I just want to try HDD mining, I watched some youtube tutorial how to do it, but i have no idea with this coin.

I remember BURST do fly with colors when it comes to HDD mining and look at its price now? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/burst/
I havent checked this one out but i would say that this wont really be worth for the resources that would really be used on mining this coin
but people if can able to risk out then go ahead.
