As far as I know there are only a few ways for anyone to get access into your funds if you don't transfer them mistakenly to another address. (or by malware to change address in clipboard).

And the most common one is phishing attacks. That's how usually people get hacked.
They aren't just exposing their account and password to the hackers but including the private keys.
One effective action to counter this is to have a separate email password and If the wallet has an option to log-out to all of the device to delay the hacker's operation.
That's how people will realize the importance of 2FA and OTP's sent to emails before sending out to any addresses.

you need to have not only individual passwords, as you said, but nowhere else to use these email addresses, to which confirmation codes for certain actions from your cryptocurrency wallets come. it is also very strong And a very important moment for achieving the security of our money. In addition, there is a very high level of security in those wallets where commands are duplicated for confirmation, namely, a code is sent to e-mail, a code is sent to a phone number and, accordingly, Google authentication.

Not just with the email that contained suspicious links/phishing links. But there are also malware where you can get from uncertified and unlicensed downloading sites. I remembered my experience from signing up from mining websites and then they hacked my email and password and hacked my crypto coins.
I totally agree with you on the malware issue and that's why I advise people to not download from any untrusted site. Even on the Android playstore, I don't download any app that has below 4 star rating. If you must download, use a different phone from the one where you have important stuff on. It's that simple.

That is correct, that's why when I was downloading an app from the play store I read first the reviews and feedbacks. But that is different case from a very well known app, you can directly visit from the official website if you want to download an app wallet like Electrum or Mycelium.

A crypto wallet isn't easy to hack if they don't have the private key, but I don't know if that is working in malware infecting. If you have a huge amount of crypto I recommend buying a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger Nano S. because that are safe and most reputed wallets.
Double your security feature like enabling 2FA and your private key should also safe or printed in a piece of paper and keep in your wallet or even your money vault.

Aside from OP's list,
Don't let other people know your wallet keys and never used another laptop/PC which you are not in control with when accessing your account.
Some cases may happen in accessing your account in computer shops have left unattended or not even close properly giving a chance for the owner/controller of the shop to trace what you are doing, and that possible they can access your account without any permission.

If we are wanting to keep safe all the time, we should also be careful in accessing our wallet. And as I said, better to have your own controlled PC (if we have nothing) rather than to compromise it.

Maybe invest on other computer so you can separate your personal stuff and your assets.
I know most of us love to explore online and sometimes can't prevent ourselves from opening different sites and downloading files, these kind of activities makes us very prone to hacking or malware and we might install a malware without us knowing we had, also let us consider the ransomware, this is a serious threat and without a back up, all our information will be gone together with our crypto assets.

What I did on my own initiative is I back up all my personal information, passwords, files, private keys and etc, I save it in different USB, some are kept inside my house and the others are in other location, also, I have a laptop that I only use to access my assets, not using it for my usual browsing activity online, that's the way I protect my assets against the risk, may it be online or offline.

Better yet is not to let people know that you are dealing with cryptocurrency in the first place, what I mean by that is that keep it your secret even to your closest people because once you tell them that then the domino effect starts, words will slip in their mouth even though they do not have a malicious intent and the word will pass on until it reaches someone with intent, you could've prevented it if you keep it to yourself in the first place. The reason that this schemes works is sometimes the perpetrator is an acquaintance of the victim (I do not know the statistics but most crimes show the same commonality).

I think, that people should behave as they have still some virus on their computer. If they have a lot of cryptos they should buy hardware wallet which saves private key on that device. The private key should be stored in an extremely safe place or you can buy some tin box for example from Trezor. It is a great thing for long-term saving - even 500 years.

Buying some hardware wallet is another option for storing coins since many users have been a victim of scam or phishing links. Let us really be aware of keeping safe our coins in a certain wallet as these days many scammers in this industry. A user should know how to store his asset to avoid of getting scam.

Many people fall victim to a hack and this causes them to lose all of their cryptocurrencies
But how do the hackers enter the wallets that have a very high level of security?
Unfortunately, it depends on the ignorance of some people, not on software methods.
For example: When a message arrives in an e-mail requesting the private key, many beginners will respond to this message and send their key, which is really sad.

Here are some instructions that might help beginners:
1- Save your private key in an offline device
2- Distribute your cryptocurrencies to several govern orates to avoid losing all of them if one of the wallets is hacked
3- Do not reply to any message from an unknown source
4- Create an e-mail address for airdrops and Bounty campaigns

Do you have any other suggestions?
One of the most common ways to lose your coins is to download your wallet from the wrong website, if you do that then you are most likely downloading a compromised wallet that will only generate the address of the hacker and once you send money there the hacker that also has the private keys of those addresses can move the coins to an address he controls exclusively, as such it is important to always check we are downloading our wallet from the developers and we take the time to verify it otherwise this could happen to you.

Yes! It is true that it really is hard to hack a wallet due to high level of security and people are getting hacked because of the their carelessness. People really need to take care of their Electronic Wallets because there will be a lot of threat that involves phishing. The fourth suggestion is really helpful and it really divides the personal emails and cryptocurrency emails apart.

In addition, there is a very high level of security in those wallets where commands are duplicated for confirmation, namely, a code is sent to e-mail, a code is sent to a phone number and, accordingly, Google authentication.

Right! and well, talking about a high level of security then you need to familiarize and enable these layers of security from your wallet.
I have a local custodial wallet, and I won't be worried If somebody else is accessing my account, because first; I get notified through email about an unrecognized log-in from different device or on different location. Second, they need the OTP sent to my email again to proceed any actions that involves cashing out from the wallet. Lastly, I'll be receiving a text message from this custodial wallet confirming/denying of transactions.
So, as you can see breaching an account isn't easy as long as you won't be as dumb as giving out essential infos including email password or using only one password from your web accounts, wallet accounts, down to your email address.

There are really custodial wallets which is really hard to breach of but be sure that those emails of yours wont really be compromised unless if you set out multiple
verifications from email to phone number then thats already a hard thing for them to breach on.It depends on an individual on how they do secure out their accounts
because some people doesnt really mind too much when it comes to security or simply they do become concern when they already experienced some loss of funds.

I am not surprised that many wallets have been hacked, that is because we cannot maintain our wallets properly. There are many ways to
prevent hackers, among others, do not respond to messages from strangers, use paid anti-virus, check back when pressing links on the internet,
always enable 2FA authentication, keep the private key in a safe place and use strong passwords. Do the things I have mentioned, our wallets
should be safe.

Once it hacks, you can only find where it goes, which wallet it sents as we have the record to that but unfortunately, couldn't have the chance to take it back to you. Hacking is a common scenario in crypto and it happens to anyone even though you use hard wallets/offline wallets. Many hacks trick possible of losing control into your account but one in common reason is that being pished by fake/clone sites. Mostly grammatically error that it closely looks the same to the original site. Even me, I've also caught into that but I was able to escape because I'd double-checked the site and find out that I was visiting the wrong site.

*double-checking is very important especially when it involves money. And much secured if you have 2FA confirmation aside from email validation.

Hackers don’t just go straight and attack your wallet and steal everything you have in it. They take their time to be picking up useful information about you, one after the other.

They already know the things that they need to be able to hack your wallet, so they work towards getting all the necessary information they need and when they have gotten all that, then they will attack and steal everything. That’s why we all have to be careful. It’s not every info that should posted online, it’s better to just keep somethings out. That’s why it’s good if you’re having problem at times, just do research and help yourself than coming to a forum and posting info about your wallet that should be kept private just because you need help.

Well, it's quite understandable that most newbies especially the one who doesn't have a background of online security. I myself admit it when the first time I got hacked because I was too naive to trust someone whom I don't really know in real life. Thanks to that experience I am now so meticulous about how to secure my every account since the trauma on that day hardly embedded in my brain. Most newbies should read this thread or somewhere that will increase their knowledge of protecting their online accounts especially the wallet addresses.

Lol, so someone random asks for private key and he sends it? Well, he deserves to get hacked. At least he will learn his lesson and know what a private key is and how to keep it securely. So harsh, but that is the only way he is going to learn, because he was already arrogant enough not to learn about securities before buying crypto currencies. If the person is this dumb, he will still get hacked even if he saves his private key in an offline device. I don't see any problem answering emails from unknown sources. As long as you know what you are doing and are cautious, you will be safe.

I have some suggestions for you.

Divide your coins into 2 parts: the part for spending and the part for holding

The part for spending can be held on a mobile wallet always near you and always ready to be used. Remember to have a backup seed in case you lose the phone.

The part for holding should always be offline. You don't use the computer it's held on or you buy a hardware wallet for it.

At the same time hackers are very smart if they can hack you but they see you only have a very small amount of money they may decide against acting right now, they will wait until you get more coins and once they know you have a substantial amount of coins that is the moment they are going to strike and steal everything you have, as such it is important to keep the security of our coins as one of our priorities and anyone with more than 1k worth of coins must get a hardware wallet to avoid being hacked.
