4341  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 11, 2020, 07:52:21 PM
Surely you are not the only case, I guess 90% of people who used to play frebitco have encountered a situation of losing many times in a row in a short time.
I also encountered the same situation, constantly losing dozens of times in a short time. Although it is entirely possible, the chance that you lose 10 times in a row is very small.

This isnt only applied on Freebitco alone but in all dice sites as well no matter how big their house edge or small it is.Tendency or chance of losing streak is inevitable and 10x lose in a row is indeed small.I do even experience 20x in a row which totally burn all of my balance in a blink of an eye..First of when i was a newbie then it do give out that kind of question on mind on hows that possible but later on i realize
on how do thing works and we shouldnt really expect too much that making money is easy as hell.Freebitco is reputable and been known by many btw and they arent shady at all-- OP just got burned by typical losing streaks that he might even not experience before.
4342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: April 10, 2020, 11:18:50 PM

We can say that most of the time, people would choose trading especially for novice or amateurs here in crypto. In gambling, if it's not the scam that's the risk then it is the full loss you get in betting. You'll lose your bet in gambling, while in trading you could still recover slowly.
The idea of high risk = high reward still applies, so it depends how financially stable you are.
Thus, it is pretty obvious what we can possibly get from trading.
People will go for gambling because they have enough money to lose. Unlike if you are in trading because you probably have a chance to double your money or even more if you are skilled enough in trading and perfectly in time. Though we think that trading is high risk but we can't disregard how gambling could do for us. It might be worse than trading IMO.
Yes. I guess trading and gambling are both risky but the only difference is that you will have more chances of making profits in trading rather than in gambling. Gambling is only good for fun and entertainment purposes only but if you think of making profits from it, you'll probably lose even more.

They do differ on level of risk since we know that luck based cant really be influenced by any strategies unless if you do play sports or card games which do require knowledge and skills.
There are areas of gambling that do need these factors for us to be profitable and same goes with trading which do definitely needs skills and good decision making when dealing with the market.
For you to be successful or profitable then dont treat trading as gamble because there are really times that people are just carelessly putting out their positions without any basis.
4343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 10:44:13 PM
~snip~
It's their responsibility to give them a salary even if the business is closed. They should be prepared in times like this, and for sure they have an emergency fund to provide their employees. It's only a simple sacrifice for the employees who have been working for them every day.

This crisis have hit hard not only those people working in the casinos but i think in every sector of the society. If we all rely on the government i think i will fail, employers should play a big role here in helping their employees to ease the load of the government. After all, those individuals that received help from their employers were also responsible for their success, just a small payback for them.
Its not mandatory but just to think on humanitarian act then as a casino owner you would surely do such thing. You know that these people are part of your success and it isnt really that bad to think of them or giving out some help in times of crisis but well this would vary or depend on what kind of person for those people who do own those casinos. Not all would have the same mindset and feelings into other people.
If they would help they would help if  not then they would just dont care on whats happening around as long they do have their own money for themselves.
4344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 10, 2020, 04:44:23 PM
US accusing China reproducing the virus as bio chemical attack to them but they never talk about the cure of the virus.
It's a war between this two country..unfortunately, other countries are affected, and thus far, China won the war.

That's the problem.
Instead of uniting to find the cure it is still about who is the strongest of them.
Even China want the NBA players on their side offering so much money right?
Gilbert Arenas, Lance and a lot more. Even European and other countries players.
They are making their own NBA just to prove they are one of the strongest even in the market of entertainment.

Well, as of the virus there is still no proof if it is really a biochemical weapon or just a sickness from animals.
Even the media could tell lies just to provide a scoop.
There are lots of conspiracies that floats around and even 5G was involved into this situation thats why we cant be sure if its a biological weapon or truly a virus that came from animals.
It doesnt matter on whats the origin yet the most important thing now is to create the vaccine to solve this global problem.Almost all things in the globe had been affected.
In between or talks about Nation ranking in terms of power then i dont really care much.
4345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 09, 2020, 11:37:32 PM
I do not track and do not also make gambling as an investment, because I will only save for later use again to bet the next day, when the result wins then I will only make simple calculations to be saved and some will be immediately cashed for several purposes including some will only saved and not invested. In gambling it is possible for me to spend more money when there is a greater opportunity and therefore, every time I gamble, only utilize what is available at the moment and maximize it as best I can.
Its quite inappropriate if we gonna make use of the word "investment" with gambling. Its never been an investment unless if you have invested with the house but if not then its totally a some sort of spending or expense for the entertainment you do seek thats why keeping track or minding too much on how much you do spend would be useless and a stressful thing instead.

If you do keep track on what you have lost then this will just mold up the mindset on keep going because you do saw that your losses are keep building up and in result
you would chase up until the situation becomes even more messy.
4346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 09, 2020, 05:34:23 PM
As we all know , Coronavirus has impacted each and every industry in the whole world and sports isn't an exception .

If you take a look at this  , https://www.nytimes.com/article/sports-canceled-coronavirus.html or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232295.0 you will get to know how many tournaments across different sports have been affected .

But the question is , is this the right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? The assumption I am making here is  that the gambling addicts are addicts on sports betting and not casino game addiction or poker .

Why this question is because although I wanna bet on sports ( which I have been doing every week since 8 years ) now I cannot .

As for me, it's the best time for gambling addicts to quit gambling for a while. Our economy is dropping down and our future is still unpredictable. We couldn't rely our necessities in the government so instead of risky the funds that we have, we better save it for the future. It's a matter of survival so you have to make wise decisions on how you handle your money. We all know that gambling is not all about winning so there's no assurance that we could gain back a good profit. We better think of our family's future so if the worst situation comes, we still have something to sustain them.
This should really be think up to those people who do have just an average income or do only have the right amount of budget when it comes to living but for those people who do have lots of money then for sure they wouldnt really mind if they would gamble as they want since they do know that they do have lots of money into their pockets.

Its indeed the best time to quit or refrain from gambling but not totally yet we can still play but on a controlled manner because seeking out for some entertainment
into these days are common since we are just staying on our home but we should consider that saving up is much more worth to be done for.

4348  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 07, 2020, 07:39:11 PM
Let me guess you are using martingale strategy and crying now that the house burned you out.
And losing 13 times in a row isn't new in that strategy I think there are so many other gamblers who used the strategy and lose more than just 13 times in a row.

100% sure that he do make use of martingale and we know that once losing streak hits you then expect for your entire balance would be blown up.
This is nothing new and we all know that HE of freebitco is much higher compared on other typical known dice games nowadays.Talking about
freebitco to be not fair? They wont survive this long if they werent. Why not op tries to do use the same strategy on other dice games? for sure
he would experience much more devastating long losing streaks.
4349  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: April 06, 2020, 03:26:45 PM
Not much wagering seems worth trying to compete for the prize!

You're right and they should at least make it bigger to look it more worth so that potential gamblers would consider it and might play to the site.
As of now those numbers arent attractive thats why its no surprise that this site do only have a small amount of wagerers or players but at least
they've been here on this market for years already which is surprising.

Also to that image above- it do talks about current week wagerers but it shows that it is in previous tab that do shows last week's winners.
4350  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 05, 2020, 11:42:21 PM
For now i dont consider on wasting up any money on things which arent important and investing nowadays is out of my list.
As mentioned and suggested above i wouldnt buy things which arent needed and prioritize on buying goods that would be sustainable
for survival. We dont know on when this pandemic or crisis would end thats why its better to be prepared than doing nothing at all.
4351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: April 05, 2020, 08:29:40 PM
It is really hard to avoid panicking especially if we have a certain coin in our portfolio then its prices decline so bad. Controlling our emotions is really hard, I also having a hard time for me to set aside my emotions when I do trading but for me I can do it because I know do training in order for me to not panic anymore.

VERY GOOD ADVICE !!!!

You should trade BitCoin based on facts, not emotions.   The biggest problem here is that people are so in love with the IDEA of BitCoin, that they will likely HODL onto their BitCoins when the financial indicators say it is time to sell  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hard Facts
Emotion is really a hard thing to be controlled specially when you are seeing on whats around you.Everything is in panic, right?
Its impossible for you not to make any reactions or doesnt think of for you to sell due to plummeting market plus you do need to have
money into these days so it isnt surprising that panic sell do happen from time to time and for those people who do took or bought
the dip will really benefit but i doubt that it would be a few of them.
4352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-gambling on: April 05, 2020, 05:04:57 PM
Those mentioned by OP isn't that popular for gambling with cryptocurrencies. We've got more trusted platforms that has got lots and lots of fun packed games as well as races that can be played during this lockdown. However spending a large time on gambling sitting in home is also not good. From my personal view the time we've got due to the lockdown is the one to spend with the family.
Good point, and besides those money that you'll be spending while playing can be use for your emergency needs, this lockdown might take more time
as the cure is not being discover yet, best to spend your time and your money with your family and limit first your engagement with your gambling activities.

As someone also stuck in lockdown, I agree with this. Better if you kept your savings in cash so you have the option of buying outside large supermarkets.

With the prices going higher quickly due to supply issues and plain greed, people would need all the money they have for survival. I wouldn't suggest people gamble at this moment. If you must really buy something other than food and PPEs then try to buy bitcoins before it gets back to $9k.
Good or needs would be the priority now yet we wouldnt know on when this pandemic would end.For now i havent spent
a dime on gambling because ive been saving it for buying up food and other related stuff that would really be needed for my family
to sustain this problem but well not all are poor like me and it isnt bad to play continually since they do have still money to spent.
Each person do have their own status in life when it comes to financial aspect. Most are poor and some are rich.
4353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: April 05, 2020, 02:17:34 PM
On post above ^ there should be at least a show off on how much the winners do win on said contest so that it would be appealing for potential gamblers
and might able to join up the contest next time. Cheers.!

I dunno why, but the second winner looks like he's picking off some leftover mBits from his hair 🤣

I actually laugh on this one but this post is a bit off-topic.  Smiley
4354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: April 04, 2020, 11:30:06 PM
I have a friend who has quite great trading skills, almost every trade he manages to make a profit. But I see he always uses capital
under $ 500.If in my opinion he should use a large capital of at least $ 5,000 to get greater profit. I suggest to him to borrow from
the bank as trading capital, but he refused with the reason too risky and insecure. I want the opinion of you members of this forum,
whether to use capital from bank loans unsecured and risky if used trading by traders who have good skills? even though in my opinion
safe as long as we can make a profit and smoothly repay loan installments to the bank.
That's too risky mate even though you know that you are capable to multiply it easily. Your frined is just playing safe perhaps he's not too confident too much to take the risk of loaning from the banks. I myself will do the same thing as I know myself that I'm not professional. It's better in my opinion to just take the risk money that it's really yours thus if things went suddenly, it'll be feasible for you to recover it within a shorter period of time.

It is risky and even I wont really tend to make such step just to have more capital to trade.I would rather choose on letting my capital grow until it would come to
a point that it would become bigger and do give out advantage. You wont mind on repaying something in the end of the month which means its less stress compared
if you do have obligations to pay up and also it wont really be worth if you do trade up on something that you have just borrowed and as said
you cant be sure on how the market moves and this will highly affect or do increase out the risk.
4355  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 COINSAGA.COM 👑 BITCOIN CASINO - START YOUR SAGA 🏆 CRYPTO ACCEPTED on: April 04, 2020, 10:11:23 PM
The website looks quite nice, and the webpages load particularly fast (I've noticed this, so it must be faster than average). However, then I took a look at your KYC policies, and they are so strict!

I am afraid it's going to be a major drawback for many players since many prefer to play anonymously and some tolerate mild KYC policies. The latter is quite a common practice where the casino reserves the right to check the documents in case something suspicious is going on or enforces the KYC requirements when a certain amount of money is involved (something big). But ID + utility bill + potential additional documents - wow, that's a big amount of data one has to give away every single time!
Even though i do advertise this company but i do highly agree into this point about KYC matters which is more strict if we do compare it on other gambling sites nowadays.
They should at least consider on lessening on whats being asked specially the documents but im not that surprised coz for sure they are implying measure which had been set.
Try to look the list of banned countries or being blacklisted.
4356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BINANCE TO LAUNCH ITS OWN MINING POOL on: April 04, 2020, 09:22:57 PM
Im not that surprised that CZ would jump into other crypto-related businesses and yes this all for the sake of money and reputation. Spreading the scope of this company is great but we do know that it do becomes centralized.

On mining venture im sure that this wont be easy for Binance but at least we are seeing some competition against Bitmain.Lets see on how this thing goes.
4357  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: April 04, 2020, 08:48:22 PM
There are white hat hackers and there are black hat hackers, which one you are talking about changes too much about the exploits in a casino (or any website). Normally a white hat hacker is paid just to take a look at the website, however bad part about them is the fact that almost all of them wants to be paid, very rarely a casino does "x amount if you can hack us" type of deal and white hacks already knows if its hackable they can already hack and take what they want, if it is not hackable that doesn't worth their time, so in order to not take anything when they hack, they want beforehand money. Black hat is just the opposite, it is dudes like this one who steal whatever they can, it doesn't matter if it is 1 satoshi or 1 btc, they just steal if they can.

@lixer you’re correct indeed there’re two types of hackers but if a casino is reputed then they’ll pay the white hat hacker as he’s found a bug which needs fixing, but if the white hat hacker decides to get greedy then the casino has no option to ban him as and when they find out about him.
Well, put yourself in the shoes of the hacker. It is really not all that easy to make money in this world, and what will bitdice pay? 100 dollars? A thousand? Ten thousand? Not really all that much will they?

So, the hacker who is already a person basically trying to find loopholes in websites which is not something a regular person would do, can go into the casino and steal money as much as he can without getting caught really, without getting sued, basically without having anything at all that is terrible for them, not a day in jail, basically live life like nothing happened, and expect them to just report it instead of stealing? That doesn't really sound reasonable.

I mean if I found one, I would report it, why? Because, I am not a hacker and at most I would be a beta tester at that point, but you can't expect a hacker to not really hack, that is what they do.

It will depend on what are the motive on the first place.

If we do talk about a pure hacker then most likely they wouldnt mind too much on a bounty or reward on finding bugs or loopholes because their primary motive in the first place is to hack a site and
abuse it as they can.

If we do talk a regular player or tester who had accidentally nor purposely found a bug then they will surely report it because they havent intended to steal out money because they do know that its
bad and punishable but well, all things will depend on persons mindset.
4358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Halving succeed with Currently Situation on: April 02, 2020, 11:55:24 PM
Bitcoin price drops almost more than 35% compared to the raise marked previous months, and it believed that bitcoin halving will raise the price, will it succeed as predicted before with current market and economic conditions.
Does halving guarantees increasing price? No it isnt but if we do base on long term aspect, then yes it does and try to look on what happened
on previous halvings and price movement on longer duration or span of time.We did actually rose up and also dont expect that effects can be seen
on shorter time frame because thats not what it all about.

Always put up in mind that nothing is assured here on crypto space,no matter how bullish the sentiment is - it wont give out a sure
result that everyone can rely or depend on.
4359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: April 02, 2020, 11:11:07 PM
COMMONSENSE!
This is the main thing for you to protect something which is valuable to you.If you do give out importance of it then
you would be that sensible enough to seek out ways on how to secure and continue to learn on whats the new way of
scamming or security vulnerabilities.Make yourself updated and do act on whats the best to secure your holding.
Just like on what youve been doing on keeping your wallet into your pocket.  Cool
4360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 02, 2020, 10:55:15 PM
As you may know, casinos all over the United States and the world have begun closing their doors to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. While this has taken a financial toll on casinos, cafes, restaurants and hotels, etc, it has put the kibosh on problem gambling or at least made a serious dent in the lives of hopeless gambling addicts.

What will most gambling addicts do when they can no longer gamble at casinos, and what do you think they'll do when the casinos reopen in several months from now? Will most of them be finally cured of their gambling addiction, or will most of them return to their old ways?

Let no one think that he cannot do without something a week,
There is nothing any addict got to do than to comply with the instructions of staying indoor. They will all survive it consciously or unconsciously. This is one of the best medium to caution yourself of that habit. Inability to go to the casino hall will mean you can break the addiction and live.
If they were instructed to be inside of their homes then theres nothing they can do but to obey and stay but it doesnt mean that they would completely restrict out theirselves on playing gambling.
They might not able to play on physical places but they do still have access on online gambling sites which means in the talks of quitting their addiction is still not sure since they do
still able to play in spite of the current situation. They will surely go back whenever this situation would already be resolved.
