4341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you committed, or considered committing, illegal act to finance gambling? on: April 27, 2020, 07:10:39 AM
The answer to your question is no and I do not think that this has ever crossed my mind, if I ever go down this path then that means that I became desperate and addicted. I think breaking the law will never do me any good because I need money for gambling. Having a clean rap sheet is better than having a cash for gambling and that opinion will never change, I am also well aware that there are people who are willing to commit these acts just to get their gambling fix satiated, I empathize with but at the same time I feel disappointed because they let gambling ruin their lives.
4342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Black Americans on: April 26, 2020, 10:42:02 AM
Education and information dissemination is a key thing when you want to encourage people to trust bitcoin, I think almost anything could be done the same. We all know that ever since the Internets inception, there have been millions of scams that have spread on it, for this reason that this people find bitcoin an object for scam artist, we can't blame these people because we all have our own biases or maybe they are being cautious because of past experience or they know someone that have experience. Books are a great thing for information dissemination but in this day and age, books will reach fewer demographic, if this book could be available in e-books then this will surely reach more demographic.
4343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: April 26, 2020, 07:42:49 AM
Thinking that bitcoin is better than is too far fetch, though it is not inherently wrong there are some advantages that you can have when you opt out for a bank. This is some that I know but I am no expert so take this with a grain of salt.
1. Insurance - with banks being protected by finance security and commisions, you can ensure that your money is protected though there will be a lot of paperwork (more paperwork if you are a victim of fraud) so you need to know your way around bureaucracy.
2. Offers - banks have offers that can help your money grow like mutual funds or index funds, bonds, though you need to constantly deposit money to it. It may sound crazy but this offers can help you grow your money instead of earning an interest per annum of your money just sitting at your bank.

These are just some of advantages that I know of when it comes to banks, feel free to weigh your decisions, if you want to put your funds on bitcoin it okay albeit they have different advantages.
4344  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Uniting Humanity Babel Idea on: April 26, 2020, 04:43:37 AM
Humanity can never be united because everyone has motives to their own causes, if you plan to reunite people isn't it better if we all share a common cause rather than having a single mind, I think that is better because this means that people can still keep their individuality. I think we should just improve the current system rather than changing it because it works just fine and I do not think that making that change will benefit the people you are supposed to be helping. Instead of making a hive mind, why not do something good even though someone is not watching that will be a start but if you don't want that then try organizing clean-up drive that will attract people.
4345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos? on: April 25, 2020, 08:36:17 AM
This depends from person to person, having a variety of coins to use for gambling is not that of a big deal because it still the same, you are still spending to it to gamble, in my opinion variety in cryptocurrency to choose from is nothing but a nuisance sepecially if that site is supporting another cryptocurrency rather than bitcoin, personally I choose to gamble with bitcoin because this has a more familiar setting for me and whenever I need to deposit or withdraw funds in my account then it will be easier for me because it has pioneered many apps that can support the procurement of funds.
4346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 25, 2020, 05:34:49 AM
1. Cryptocurrency helps me in having an earning even though I do not have a work and I am still in school, it also helped me opened up new possibilities that I haven't had the tim to figure out because I am busy. It also helped me finding people who have the same goal as mine and they in turn help me too.
2. I have been into cryptocurrency this for a year and I do not consider myself knowledgeable anything about the cryptocurrency because I believe that learning is a constant thing and people will never smart enough, always pursuing innovation.
3. I have known it when I was in 9th grade, at first I thought that it is something that is exclusive to chosen people because there were a few tools and this was not yet famous and I was still in doubt because someone I knew was dealing with this and they got scammed so I got scared and never thought of it until I was in 11th grade.
4347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: April 25, 2020, 04:20:33 AM
I think that affiliation of gambling sites to third-party market is not bad at all, it is just an advertisement for what they are selling. If you are the owner of the gambling site then it is in your advantage that there are markets that are willing to affiliate to your site, that means that your site will be paid in part because you are allowing an advertisement of their market to your site, this is not inherently wrong though, but if you bombard your site with too much advertisement from different affiliate markets then that would be a problem for the visitors or players on your site because it distracts them albeit subconsciously. In the end it is not about the affiliation of the gambling sites to a market, it is with their services quality that we are there and the fun they offer in the first place, as long reputation and services then no problem at all.
4348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 25, 2020, 02:28:49 AM
I don't think that it will ever come to that and the reason for that is the fact that it has a limited supply and the supply withing the circulation is also dictating how much the price will be (supply and demand), unlike oil, bitcoin is a currency and oil is a commodity, right now the pandemic is ravaging the world and making a worldwide lockdown which in turn will make people unable to go to their jobs and it also means that there will be less transport that is going to occur, which greatly affected oil prices because again the supply and demand does not match obviously, my point is that bitcoin will never go in negative value because it is a currency, for context, did the value of Bolivares go negative?
4349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Mining Cost is Higher Than Bitcoin Revenue. on: April 24, 2020, 09:19:16 AM
I think the reason that the revenue from mining procures more losses is not the price of the hardware that is needed for the process is obviously the price of bitcoin was lower than it ever before. Maybe the price will go up, but I think we will gather more loss when we continue mining, it also depends also from what country where you are from because you need to consider the cost of living from your country.

If I am wrong, you can use what you earned from mining and investing it but if you do not have any means of sustenance other than the bitcoin that you earned from mining then disregard this advice.
4350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Help Fight the Fake-Covid-19 Pandemic With Your Guns! on: April 24, 2020, 06:55:00 AM
Despite the crippling damage the pandemic can do, these idiots are still going out of their houses to protest for work. Can they not understand the fact when the virus makes a contact with the new host it will proliferate and the continous influx of people going outside is making the infection chain longer, that works for all the viruses, they will naturally die when there is no new host to contract, that is simple science and people are dragging politics when science proves everything that happens is right. The problem with these people is that they are too ignorant to the fact that this pandemic is infecting people at an alarming rate and the reason for that is people have a tunnel vison, they do not see the bigger picture and that is very alarming because people are blind to their cause and one fool charming enough could infect or narrow minded people.
4351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Analyst: "Covid-19 Could Spur More States to Legalize Online Casino" on: April 24, 2020, 04:58:55 AM
I think that is a good thing but in my opinion, legalization of more online casinos tend to create more competition which in turn cause people to play at different sites, I know that Las Vegas has a lot of casinos but I think that is not the case here for online casinos because there are still few people (if we compare it to real casino players) that are playing and knows about online casino, I ain't against legalization but the problem here is that we should first make more public relations so that we can let in more players that will in turn if it reaches a peak number of people then they will naturally find more variety and in turn new casinos will pop up for the demand, to sum it up, we need to increase demand before the supply.
4352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 24, 2020, 03:31:12 AM
This period surely killed my desire to gamble (sports bet) but I think that it is temporary thijg because surely after all is said and done, matches to bet on will surely pop up anywhere and I am saving my money, sure the entertainment is gone for awhile but thanks to this I can watch Animes and series I have been wanting to watch for a long time because I am busy in classes, I don't think that this pandemic will likely make someone exit the gambling business, others will surely get their way to have their urges like other flexible people who bets on sports but are playing online casino right now because the former is not yet available.
4353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: April 23, 2020, 04:37:19 AM
I think the purpose of gambling differs from person to person, for me the overall purpose of gambling has always been to waste our time and money, the former being a very precious thing because as we all know the clock does not stop for anybody. The latter obviously could be earned but there will be regret when you lose it when you gamble.

There are gamblers at heart too, those people do not consider their time wasted by gambling because they are getting the thrill of it. You know those people who get bored because they are sitting and doing nothing are the type of people I have no qualms when they argue that gambling is a part of their life.

If you see yourself as the type of person that I mentioned aboved then I can't do anything about that, it is your time and money you are spending so gamble on.
4354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: April 23, 2020, 01:30:02 AM
If you feel that you become greedy and you are constantly losing money then that is a sign that you suck at playing. It came from your mouth that it is becoming risky, and I do not blame you for that. Gambling has always been a risk, the problem that arises here is you don't have the discipline to quit when you are consciously and obviously losing. I can observe that you are becoming obsessive towards breaking even the losses you procure, if you do not mind go seek professional help to prevent your obsession to gambling. Your problem is just like any problem, this not about the games that you gambled on but your attitude towards it. Remember gamble for fun and not to get a living.
4355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 22, 2020, 08:40:15 AM
I think that is a very good strategy because you will not procure any losses. This is the kind of strategy I am willing to implement. Surely the gambling owners surely hates this guy because instead of them getting the people with their pockets dry, the opposite happened, though it is a good practice there are more people who are banned because they are too good in playing the casino. On the other hand, gambling owners should should take note that this kinds of people exist so up the ante of your customer services by giving the winning players some reason to stay, and make your casino more maze like and having fewer unseeable exits will do the work, though it may only work with physical casino.
4356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin on: April 22, 2020, 05:50:33 AM
The reason that people are not willing to invest their future in bitcoin is a simple reason that they can't afford the price. If you are to invest in bitcoin without an emergency fund and you are investing money that you will need then in no time you will withdraw it back. The other reason would be the xenophobia of people when exploring new things, remember when they believed that it will not go from 1 dollar, how about the time when they believe the bubble will burst?
The thing to do right now is to trust and have faith that bitcoin will grow further and build a better future. The hype was real and people are going to regret when the price strikes an all time high.
4357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: April 22, 2020, 04:28:31 AM
In my country, there are apps that support cryptocurrency but the process is to convert it back to our currency, the ATM here does not accept direct crypto transactions but they support the app in turn. The only problem that I sometimes see is that sometimes the ATM does not have 24/7 cardless transaction support. I really love that there will be an ATM that will appear in my country just like yours because there are more steps needed to get the cash in my country, I do not disagree with that because it helps prevent fraud. I hope that my country will embrace the emergence of crypto and innovate because people will surely benefit this thing.
4358  Economy / Economics / Re: We need a economic revolution right now . on: April 22, 2020, 02:55:05 AM
Are you one of those idiots who carry confederate flag and calls to arms?
If yes, you look like the cult enemies in Far Cry 5, you want a revolution at this time of the year, do you think the army would let that happen, just because you have guns and a flag does not mean that you guys can blow up an Apache Helicopter. If you try to go out right now then you are not part of the solution, you make the infection chain longer, I know I do not have a say because I am not an American but think of it if the infection becomes much larger, more innocent will be infected and when that happens, you will blame it again on the government.
4359  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: April 21, 2020, 07:19:22 AM
As an oppurtunist, I do not see the problem because of the crash, though this may sound really crazy but investing in oil will surely be a big win because this pandemic is just a temporary. I guess I could say that this is like a stock dump and this is an oppurtunity for us, remember that when something goes down then it will surely go up in no time, I believe that the reason that the price was down because of the demand is low and I am staking my faith in the time that oil will recover. I am no analyst or expert but I see this as an oppurtunity so take this with a grain of salt.
4360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 21, 2020, 05:57:08 AM
This is understandable, from different parts of the world there is surely a lot of people who are not working and that means no cash flow, you might be lucky if your employer implements a work from home but if not then that sucks, the good thing about it though is that government and private sector alike are doing their part in giving relief for their employees through finance stimulus and such. The sad thing about this is that it is a temporary fix to a problem that gets worse overtime, maybe increasing the effort in ending this pandemic is still the best bet (No pun intended).
