4361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 07, 2021, 03:36:08 AM
In this era I'm sure those who gamble offline and online at least no longer do it in secret, because most of the people we know of course many of them will talk about gambling itself. So yes, I'm sure even though at this time we are gambling online secretly because it is done in the room, but in the end and or at some point we will talk about gambling when we gather with friends and can talk about it in chat too. Gambling in this era has become a lifestyle I think and they are free to gamble or not, because curiosity and any purpose in gambling will always grow from time to time.

I think what you say is true, because I also often tell that I play gambling to friends and some close family. Those who know that I gamble don't
mind it, because I'm not addicted to gambling. So it is true that gambling is now a lifestyle, so gambling is not as bad as many people imagine.
Most importantly, we should not influence people to gamble, because other people may not be able to control themselves when gambling.

We are the same; I play casually to relieve stress after a long week of work, and I also enjoy a beer. Well, it really depends on the person, I often tell others, mostly my friends, to try these sites, to try to gamble in them, but they tend to play but are not addicted to it, so I think it really depends on the person who got addicted and we are not all the same, so the best thing is not telling or sharing it because curiosity kills.
4362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading skills on: September 07, 2021, 02:22:55 AM
Do not trade with high capital, be patient, study the market, use what you can lose and not affect you, only focus on spot trading for time being, $50 is good for starting, if you have high capital, do it use it, hold more and trade less with $50 or lower. You will understand the marker from your losses and win, but beginners lose more than win, only increase your capital if and only if you are profiting than losing.
On board with the above suggestions. The main point to extract from a trader point of view is the practice because only with practice you tend to get a feel of the markets and how/when to perform a trade. News and having access to good, reliable info is another big one.

Unfortunately, there aren't any agreed places for getting this type of info but there are groups on Telegram where some news can he handy. One such group is called Alts Alters. Good luck trading.
Without a doubt experience is necessary in order to be the best trader that you can be but we must remember that we all start somewhere and that there are newbies that can be successful in the markets without that experience, but in order for that to happen they need to prepare themselves extensively about all the techniques they can use to improve their chances of being profitable, and unfortunately the number of newbies that do something like that is incredibly small.

I'm not sure how those newbies win on their trades if they don't have a solid background or any trading experience. It is extremely difficult if you are a newbie with no solid strategy; however, if luck strikes, I believe you can win; however, this does not last long because you will inevitably lose; however, if you have a solid strategy, I believe you can win; however, this does not always; however, it is preferable to luck in terms of trading because you can adapt and have a solid reason why you initiate the trade.
4363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: September 06, 2021, 04:12:19 PM
Crypto trading or forex trading, are both profitable. That's not even a question.

The best question here is, how that trader will make his trading experience profitable. Even others will say that crypto is profitable, if you don't know how to handle the stress and pressure, you will end up wrecked. The same goes for Forex or stocks trading.

Just choose who's not profitable but on what do you think you can do better because of your knowledge.

They're mostly the same, there's risk, you'll need knowledge, you'll need to read or learn technical analysis or fundamentals, and you'll need to be profitable at the same time. I've tried forex and haven't tried crypto trading, but I believe they're mostly the same; if you're into fundamentals, you'll be watching news of those currencies or coins, and if you're into technical analysis, you'll be learning the same indicators. Strategy is also important, and I believe they are based on the same principles, but the gut instinct and feeling about where the price will go can be predicted by experience.
4364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the stupidest thing you have bought for BTC in the past ? on: September 06, 2021, 12:09:45 PM
2BTC for a pizza ? 10BTC for a video game ?
Whats the stupidest thing you have done with BTC in the past , and how much did you spend ?

This one should be interesting. Cool

1.xx bitcoin for a motorcycle. That is when bitcoin is around $600/$700 if me not wrong. Because who joined in crypto at end of 2014 and early of 2015 when big dump come and cause bitcoin on a price of less than $200 will really happy to see bitcoin price increased multiply times. And i think most of them already sold their coins at that price or when early pump come around $1000.

It's something good but also something bad haha. Well, it was good that you bought a motorcycle, but it was also bad because at the current price, you could buy a car hahaha. Well, that was the time when the price was too low, but we were still earning bitcoin at the time. I don't have the stupidest purchase that I've made, but I believe that investing in a ponzi scheme and putting all of my money into it is the stupidest thing I've done, though on the other hand, I learned from it.
4365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 06, 2021, 06:58:53 AM
As the saying goes, "ride the trend." That is a good strategy for the top list of coins because most bull runs take days, so jumping in is a good idea, but not right away. You should learn the basics and, more importantly, the fundamentals of why the coin is going to bull run. Patience and timing are essential. The best advice I can give is to read the news and gain knowledge every day so that you can gain an advantage in trading.
Timing is a thing that takes time to learn, but when you perfect it and master it then you could honestly make so much money. Even on the slow and small changes you could always make a change depending on what you do with the things you have, it will not be easy but it will be a lot of profit when you are good at it. Think about it like being a car mechanic, for me I have no idea what makes a car go, I literally have zero clue, but for a master mechanic that has been in the business for years, he knows exactly the reason and how he can make the car start again.

So, it is not about how difficult it is to do it, it is easy for people who are already good at it and been here for a while, but it is also impossible for someone who haven't done it before. Just become an expert and all you said will become something quite easy to handle for most people.

It is extremely difficult at first because you are still learning. When I was learning to trade in forex, you could open an account with a zero balance, but it was only for practicing your trading strategy. I have a lot of accounts, but they will all end up losing all of their balance because I don't have my own strategy, but as the years pass, yes, years, it is sinking in my mind how to do it. Knowledge and experience are the most important aspects of trading; however, you do not have to be an expert in order to trade; simply reading some news and performing basic indicator readings, as well as adhering to your strategy, will suffice. However, this does not guarantee that you will always win, but it will provide you with an advantage, such as a 60% win rate and a 40% loss rate.
4366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is only new to the newbie on: September 05, 2021, 04:30:48 PM
These newbies should accept that Ponzis victimized them during the time it was prevalent; reliable information is more accessible now than before. The community is much cleaner now. Being swayed by scam programs and platforms is a phase that newbies usually experience; some learn it instantly, but unfortunately, some learn things the hard way. Doing our own research and asking someone trusted would help.

Yes, it is cleaner now than before. Even though there are still a few, it has failed because people are aware of it and are aware that it will turn out to be a scam. Well, I was in this phase where there were a lot of easy returns at the time, and I was also scammed when I was new to bitcoin, thinking it was bitcoin but it wasn't, so I lost hope at the time, but after a few months, I was able to recover. I believe that the majority of newbies are duped by easy money and promises of a return. However, even though you are a newbie, you are aware of it or have doubts about it.
4367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 05, 2021, 02:52:05 PM
Gambling does not need to be a thing to hide from others and being an isolated gambler is some how not a good idea for me. You need to interact with other gamblers to learn new strategies that can really help to make good profits. Although we have different kind of gamblers with there various reasons why they decided to participate in gambling which might be to make a small profits for take care of normal basic amenities while others might be a long term gamblers not just to satisfy the present needs but future needs.
If you're just looking for a quick buck, agree to this. But have you noticed the elderly people playing cards? They're just having fun with it, though they will occasionally place bets, but it's only for a small amount of money to get an adrenaline rush. However, I believe that those who are young and want to make money while having fun should be surrounded by people or gamblers, as it is extremely difficult to have fun if you are playing alone and also earn money.
4368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 05, 2021, 01:53:25 PM
It is better to just invest in the top of the list, such as BTC, ETH, BNB, etc. The coins that have been proven a lot in the field of crypto. But if I were you, I wouldn't invest now, maybe even a small percentage. It seems like this is your way to test the market. Right now, the price of BTC is too high and people are too hyped today. Just increase your investments a bit once you have a bear market, at least you can buy a lot and do more research on upcoming events.

It's difficult to do that because those top coins on the list so it's a bit difficult to do that but it's a good start nonetheless. For me, it's just go for some of the trends right now, they're definitely going to make you money if you have the right timing.

As the saying goes, "ride the trend." That is a good strategy for the top list of coins because most bull runs take days, so jumping in is a good idea, but not right away. You should learn the basics and, more importantly, the fundamentals of why the coin is going to bull run. Patience and timing are essential. 4369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: September 04, 2021, 03:22:54 PM
the reason I like to learn and use about bitcoin, because I want to have new challenges, and I want to know about crypto more deeply, I don't want to be left behind in the digital age, because now everything is internet, so if I don't want to learn and understand about bitcoin, I feel lost, because I threw away the opportunity that has come, besides I have friends who want to guide me, so I will continue to learn and always learn, while there is an opportunity..
Yes not outdated technology is very important . Because we live looking forward and moving forward will be able to repeat yesterday's things. I'm like that too.. For sure money is my reason to keep learning. Because of bitcoin I can have income outside of my main job.

Agree , technology is evolving so life is also adapting to it so there is no reason why we shouldnt adapt bitcoin in our life. Bitcoin now is most of people seeing it as an investment because of its price which was true because there are ton of holders out there that is just waiting for the bull run . Learn bitcoin and invest on it if you do have spare money
4370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your investing Strategy on: September 04, 2021, 06:30:56 AM
The best strategy is to research . Thats is really what we should do. When it comes to investing knowledge is power which we should do a research to gain knowledge. We know that if we are investing in new coins we need to search and background check those teams so that you will know that they will not scam you and also they are legit ones
4371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage losses? on: September 04, 2021, 05:10:19 AM
Have a clear strategy in trading like set Take profit, stop loss and stick with that strategy. That's the way to good risk management. Maybe you will get low profit because of frequent stop loss but it is better to keep your money safe than lose by a losing position.

That is one of the basic strategy which is you should know. Risk management. But there are still lot need to learn . Like learning those indicators or those candle patterns which you will predict whats the next price is but if you are not into technical analysis then you are into fundamentals but waiting to the right time and also news to jump in
4372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: September 02, 2021, 04:26:03 PM
People are also looking for ways to make money online because it is so difficult to find work right now due to the pandemic. Well, investing in bitcoin is difficult right now because not everyone has the financial means to buy bitcoin or trade it, but this isn't the only way to make money with bitcoin; we could also make money on a forum. However, if you have money, it is good but still risky; however, if you have spare cash to invest in bitcoin, it is acceptable to take a risk.
4373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage losses? on: September 02, 2021, 11:07:02 AM
Don't put all the funds you have in just one instrument. As an investor, you must be able to measure and limit your exposure to certain types of investments. This is called portfolio diversification. You do this by dividing the funds you have into various types of investments.
Usually investors always see good coins that are in a bullish trend or in a good trend, and it is always different every year, because putting all investments in one place is not what investors want because it is not a suitable strategy to be used by them

They advised not putting all of your eggs in one basket. Yes, most investors are keeping an eye on those coins with high gains, and they will all jump in. However, the best way is to purchase those coins as soon as they are available, such as during their ICO stage or something similar. That is the best strategy, but if you prefer to invest in the established ones, try to learn technical analysis in trading as well as fundamentals so that you can determine which coin is the best to invest in.
4374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: September 02, 2021, 03:55:28 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

The risk is always there mate when we talk new token, most of the time if we engage in new alts its always been a gumble in your investment. But its a big help doing some basic thing to make a little bit sure in your, and that is reviewing in there project. Do some review on there white paper, the team, and the trend on it. About trend obviously NFT is the trend of now, maybe we should invest on that to make it sure even a little atleast theres a chance.

Yes, indeed. Every investment always involve risk much more on a newly launch project. But the more risk the more profitable for us if successful, there are more people having more profit on investing for ICO/IEO unlike investing on an existing coin that already in the market.
a little bit risky but need a bigger capital for us to gain more profit.

However, taking risks could result in a huge profit. Consider how those businesses get started. They put their money at risk to start that business because they believe it is risky and they have no idea what will happen. It is the same with investing in crypto, but it requires research to determine whether it is a scam or not because there are many new coins right now that are a scam, unlike before when you as a small time investor had all of your money invested but there are still new coins that are promising. Take a chance and wait to see what happens, but first do some research.
4375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 02, 2021, 02:05:56 AM
I saw a video on YouTube about banning it, and I believe it is a serious problem in Ireland because people can easily gamble with their credit cards, which can lead to addiction and debts. They are taking this very seriously, they appointed a gambling regulator to oversee the implementation of the credit card ban. True, if you have credit cards, you can bet quickly, but the problem is that you will end up in debt, which is a problem for Irish gamblers. I believe that only those games in casinos are prohibited, as credit cards are not prohibited in horseracing.

4376  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: September 02, 2021, 12:48:05 AM
Bitcoin, as I was unable to invest in altcoins earlier stage. Before, I was really investing in new coins because I could make more money than bitcoin in less than a month. Investing in their ICO is really great because it would be listed in exchange after a few weeks. But now that there are a lot of new coins, many of which are shitcoins, which are extremely risky, bitcoin is the better option.
4377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we do what China did to gaming with gambling? on: September 01, 2021, 05:02:35 PM
Recently China passed a law that says that there's a break for children for playing videogames, I like this regulation because it helps kids reconnect with physical world and at the same time make them not dependent or addicted to the virtual space. Now here's my question, can we do that to gambling too, it can probably help the people to take a break and cool their heads off when they're on a losing streak or it can also be a time for some reflection as to when did it all go wrong for them to lead to this point.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/08/31/tech/china-ban-video-games-minor-intl-hnk/index.html?espv=1
Well, if I am not wrong all kind of gambling games are completely banned in China except the lottery which is run by the government itself so they already have strict regulations towards such kind of activities but in reality people are travelling to the other countries from China just for their gambling since its also a form of an entertainment. Instead of banning anything completely the government should regulate it so the minors so called kids can be saved while the remaining people can do that from their comfort zone itself.

I agree with you, and I believe it would be beneficial to the government because these businesses pay high taxes; in our country, these types of businesses pay some of the highest taxes, which is great for the government because they will earn a lot of money. That is why these things are legal in our country because the government makes a lot of money from them.
4378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 01, 2021, 12:11:16 PM
Yes, most probably it's going to be cash money for gambling. No more credits are you will sink deep in your knees and it's going to be hard to pay your gambling debts. And maybe this is what the government of Ireland is trying to do. Protect them from incurring charges from the banks itself because most likely this gamblers can't pay on time.

Ah I see,,, do not know why I did not see it earlier. So it is just a problem of gambling on credit, which is one of the worst reasons to borrow money. Then I fully support this actually. Although,,, they should make allowance for debit card since debit is just paying on a balance you own. Credit cards are a big problem even here where I live, people just spending money they actually do not have.

Well you have really a point spending the money that you will be paying it later on. well that is really the purpose of credit card since people likes not bring money and using their card and pay it though it is still okay but when you reach your spending limit then thats not good really since you really spend a lot of money which youve reach it. You will really sink into debts and having hard time in paying it.
4379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 11:24:14 AM
If you're gambling, I believe you'll experience both of these emotions because you can't say you're just making money from it; you're still having fun because winning makes you happy, and losing makes you sad, so you'll experience both. This is one of the reasons why some people become addicted to it because they become overly excited about it and experience an adrenaline rush from the game because it involves a large sum of money. I haven't seen anyone who is only interested in gambling and isn't happy.
4380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might be ready to pump similar to December 2020 on: September 01, 2021, 04:13:01 AM
Well, if this happens, that is fantastic news, but we can never forecast the price because the market is so volatile. However, if this occurs, we will all be delighted, and those who occupy the position will leap for joy. I don't have a bitcoin right now, but if the price rises, I'll be thrilled.
