4361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: April 21, 2020, 04:17:45 AM
I can't say that everytime that I gamble but definitely there are times, especially the times that I lose big time. It really hurts your health when you lose, include the frustration and regret that comes with it when you lose money, I am starting to change though, I atleast try to discipline myself and gamble as little as possible, I have found a way to alleviate the itches by downloading and playing ( They have android ) Chinese Poker and Hold'em poker, they are good for the urges though I don't get money but it really helps try them. I have been away from gambling for awhile now and it really is a good feeling because I have money to spend to other things that are worth it (Books and Food).
4362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 21, 2020, 02:56:21 AM
I congratulate this people by changing their life after their win in gambling. I am worried of what they will do next, I am generalizing but people when presented by an enormous amounts of cash, chances are they will squander it real fast, there are statistics for this. I can't name people but their stories will be remembered, like the lotto winner who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars a day because he have a lot of money. Pro tip when you win a jackpot, put it in a bank and hire a financial adviser to make sure you can make the most out of it, also this testimonials are the reason that there are more people that are gambling because they believed that they are going to be that someday if they bet enough. I am not against them but I hope that people will realize that not everyone is lucky.
4363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just think privacy is more important with financials. on: April 20, 2020, 08:02:25 AM
I am happy that you think that privacy is important, this is a disappointing thing to happen, people should realize that privacy overall is important, what if they use your social media account pictures to catfish or fraud people, isn't that important too?
What I am saying is that privacy should be taken seriously even if your finance is involved. Why go so low as to realize that privacy in finance is the most important when privacy as a whole is more important, plus your btc address would be still be spilled when you have a transaction to an individual, it is up to them whether they have ill intent or hopefully none.
4364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 20, 2020, 06:07:44 AM
At this time of pandemic I would surely would not play that because obvious reasons, but in reality I think I would not play because I could've played in online but I paid for the ambience but if that is what I will see then no is my answer. Plus, we shouldn't be to comfy with crowded casinos, there might be pickpockets or con artist blending with the crowd. I know that you can't stop people going to casino especially Macau, but atleast upgrade the customer service or make exclusivity like players only no bystanders or expanding their place or the reach of their operation.
4365  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 20, 2020, 04:40:43 AM
You sound like you came from a dystopian novel, I don't think that Internet will become an expensive commodity, think about it you the reason Internet is not free and almost anything is that there is a payment for installation, you need for a pipe installation for the water, a wire installation for your electricity. I have to say that you are narrow minded, you always think about getting things free because you are too lazy to earn and I guess that it is easy for you to complain. That is how a free loader sounds like you know. If you always think life will give you what you then sorry to burst your bubble because life will slap the least you will expect it.
4366  Economy / Economics / Re: Capital preservation and investing during and after the COVID19 crisis on: April 20, 2020, 03:19:40 AM
In this time of crisis it is a good oppurtunity to make an earning by investing with a capital, but keep in mind that what you need for your capital is a money that you do not need and also atleast have an emergency fund because you will never know what happens next. According to the article, I agree with the investment oppurtunity in stocks right now and I hope that you will do the same too. Also, watch out for real estate because some if not many will surely sell their property at a bargain price which was also mentioned at the article.
4367  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: April 19, 2020, 08:44:51 AM
In accordance to what you said, country controlled currency is more of a threat because of one simple thing and that is tax. They want a controlled and centralized crypto because they simply can't control the pioneering cryptocurrency, just imagine how much money the government have if they have taxed the people who earned cryptocurrency but they can't do it because they do not have control over it. If in the near future that all countries have their own crypto would spell bad thing for the prices of all the cryptocurrency, because there are more crypto to choose which in turn will dramtically decrease the demand and thus lowering its prices. We also shouldn't forget that when this nation controlled crypto come into fruition, there is a high possibility of banning all other decentralized crypto.
4368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 19, 2020, 06:56:46 AM
I'm sorry but if you never bet more, there is no point in playing dice. Because of the house hedge you can't win on the long run if you always bet the same amount.
If I were to play dice, then I would rather play the safe way, my purpose in playing in the first place is to have fun, I find this strategy ridiculous because you know that the edge is in favor of the house and you want to bet more?, that sounds like throwing your win instantly.
It is a profitable strategy - maybe you haven't tried it out yet.
You just have to have a huge amount of fund in order to follow this strategy or start with a small initial bet.
If one of those two terms is fulfilled then you will be about to make good money.
Having a huge amount of fund defeats the purpose of gambling, you are there to increase your meager cash not make it a day trading, and saying that this strategy is profitable sounds like you are promoting the play that easily vacuums cash out of the wallet of player. You only say that it is a profitable strategy because you might be an investor in a gambling site or you are an owner of a casino.

Don't believe this fad people. Create your own strategy make it unique.
4369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in High School Syllabus on: April 19, 2020, 05:07:55 AM
That is an interesting move for education sector in regards to cryptocurrency literacy and innovation as well, in my opinion, that is still a pretty early move but none the less bold, I think that that is too advance for a subejct in a highschool curriculum, I would stake my opinion on implementing more on financial literacy because, what is the point of learning and earning bitcoin if you don't have the knowledge and discipline regarding finance then it is all for naught. I am not against education about cryptocurrency but I think that we should add a stable foundation before learning something big, bitcoin still has an untapped potential unknown to us but we are not yet late to the party so what we can do right now is prepare and be ready when we arrived.
4370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Bitcoin Sextortion Scam Emails Sent to U.S Users - DON'T PAY on: April 19, 2020, 02:43:46 AM
This kind of e-mails have been circulating since the prominence of the Internet, remember the Nigerian prince? Yeah, that one where he is a part of your bloodline, many have been scammed by that. This is the kind of posts that should be circulated on many forums to disseminate information. I never thought that this kinds of scams are getting more and more elaborate, and they now using btc for transaction. A piece of advice to all the people of Internet, be aware, atleast read some news, getting updated in what is happening around you wouldn't hurt. It is kind of funny but if this lands in your e-mail then reply that you don't care (not advisable if you are not bold enough).

There are people who are saying that smart people or people who think right will not fall for the scam is such a douchey thing to do, I find it funny that people are bragging that they are smarter than other people, help in dissem :-\inating information guys, it helps a lot.
4371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 18, 2020, 09:07:43 AM
For me personally keeping track of my expenditure in gambling is pretty useless, you will only get frustration and regret when you see what you are spendinding and I also find your post ridiculous thinking that gambling is an investment, investment in my opinion is something that you are putting something with the expectation that there is a return benefit. On the other hand gambling is not an investment unless you are owner, co-owner, or investor in a gambling business, it puts you in the consumer side, you are more of a livestock rather than a farmer, I advise that we all shouldn't advocate gambling as an investment it destroys lives (the gambling).
4372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: April 18, 2020, 07:36:12 AM
The problem with hosting amateur MOBA tournaments betting is that it is very hard because you will need a lot of players to outsource and even if you outsource the players, the players the problem is that they wouldn't show up and play at the chosen time, in short amateur players lack commitment to fully participate in the whole scheme. Even if you tick the imaginary box above you can't ignore that there will competitors that are more established (I don't know any sites though Sad). You also need to consider advertising but that comes easy when you have outsourced the players.
4373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 18, 2020, 06:04:30 AM
Piece of advice for all the people who are weighing the good and bad sides of gambling, if you haven't played yet then it is better to not start gambling, having a conflicted feeling about gambling will only deteriorate your decision when you started gambling, if you are determined otherwise then go for it, just be careful though. For me the negatives really outweigh the positive that the gambling provide, even just addiction is enough to outweigh all of the positive effects of gambling, the only time that I think the gambling will outweigh the negative is when you are the owner of the gambling site or investor, I guess it really depends on the perspective and where curb you are standing.
4374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 18, 2020, 03:51:42 AM
I do not think that gambling and day trading are the same, sure they both involve risk which made it look like that they have a lot of similarities, but if you take a step back and look at the bigger picture gambling doesn't have a money back guarantee, trading on the other hand ensures that you can still get the money back though you have a loss. Another difference is the timeframe of return of investment, in gambling, once the dice stops or the cards are set is also the time when you will get the return or not, unlike day trading, if you bought a stock and the price continues to dump you could either wait for it to get back on track and reap a profit. For me that is enough difference to make me identify one from the other.
4375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 17, 2020, 07:45:57 AM
I don't think that this technique will unless you are so damn lucky (you are carrying a real working rabbit's foot, four leaf clover and a horseshoe altogether  Wink). People are becoming a victim of this kind of behavior that letting the winstreak go over their head and thinking that there is a little chance of losing when in fact it is statistically high. In conclusion betting a double for a all or nothing is not worth the risk when you are gambling, remember you are playing for fun and that you win some and lose some, never mind people coaxing you to bet more, listen to yourself and play at your own pace.
4376  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People start killing themselves due to COVID19 virus fears. on: April 17, 2020, 05:54:38 AM
The positive side of coronavirus, it's getting rid of weak people, physically and mentally.

That is why we've to be mentally prepared to cure this virus simply because you said it right Don't break down you would like to form some strong resistance yourself. they typically attack vulnerable people Those whose immunity is low.
I condemn people that say that people killing themselves are weak is an insult to all people who are suffering from mental problems, I am confidently saying that you are all insecure and that you too are all weak inside, you all are afraid that people will judge you snowflakes that's why you blame people who kill themselves. Remember this, what you are saying to other is a reflection of your soul. And if you are scared right now and feeling remember that I care and you deserve to live random person.
In the case that people are killing themselves because of the pandemic scare is because that they have a poor support network, this prompts the problem of our indifference to mental health. If you say that you can't help these people, maybe a little compliment or asking how they are is enough. And for the people who are suffering from fear and other mental problems, I dare you to do small steps to help yourself, clean your room (trust me it makes you feel good), talk to a friend or parent, don't suppress your negative emotions, it's okay to feel sad and angry.
4377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)? on: April 17, 2020, 03:54:18 AM
I don't live in USA but according to what I have read, this stimulus package is not enough for a single household, the reason that I think about the stimulus not being enough is that overtime the cost of living increased drastically for the past decade and there is also the inflation rate that increased the prices of products. I can't represent  what my country is doing and I am not saying they are doing a good job or not but I think that focusing more on relief operation would rather be helpful, in my city, including the financial help, the city welfare divisions are also giving away 4-day worth of food packs depending on how many family is living in the house.
4378  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: April 17, 2020, 02:29:09 AM
I assume that you are under the impression that the vaccine will be used for exploitation of people but I disagree with that, if there is an antidote that will be formulated by the scientist, I think they would rather choose to give it to people for free because pharmaceutical research and scientists working in the laboratory are backed by the government and that will be reason that the antidote or vaccine will be free or if any charges will be issue then I hope that any commoner can afford it. This virus looks like an opportunity for many people but if you think about it, that is a good thing because most oppurtunity that will arise is medcal research and medical technology innovations, for investors too, I can't stress this enough, right now is a good time to buy stocks and this will be a good oppurtunity for investors to try risking an investment in pharmaceutical companies because there will surely be a hype after this crisis is over.
4379  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 16, 2020, 05:36:16 AM
You can't force this subject now, it's a new technology, even with these 10 years, it's way new to put such subject on a university for example, obviously a good and well informed teacher will bring cryptos to class, but cryptos have to "live"more to slowly enters in all layers of society

Introduction of cryptocurrency in economics as a subject is a shock but I completely digress that it shouldn't be teached as a subject. One good reason for introducing it as a subject is that it helps in disseminating information about cryptocurrency, it helps in paving way for the technology to become a mainstream thing in economics, wouldn't it be better if there are more people learning about it and wouldn't you expect it that there might be people who will discover new things about it. And why on Earth do you people exclude other people in the crypto community, wouldn't it be better if there are more people engaged in this thing that could potential shape mankind's future.
4380  Economy / Economics / Re: USD will lose its status of being reserve currency? I am scared. on: April 16, 2020, 04:23:15 AM
I do not think that the dollar will lose its value as a reserved currency anytime, there are more factors to be considered if this will ever happen. Remember, all countries have a reserved dollar in their disposal so that will mean that there will be a lot of countries that will try to prevent the event. Maybe the time that the dollar will lose its ability to become a reserved currency is the time when the cryptocurrency industry takes over its competitor fiat completely and also that the prices of cryptos are stable and volatile proof. I also think that there might be reasons that the current administration is responsible for possibility that the dollar will lose its value but that is too minscule that it is not enough to affect it.
