Users of the Canadian exchange, cavirtex.com, can withdraw funds to payza, but unless one can use it to move money to and from other exchanges like MtGox I see no reason for me to use it... that and the $10 fee per transaction.

Game on ladies and gents. my BTC has been returned.. looks like it just was bugs
Nice. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yes, it is unlikely to be a scam. Here is a link which gives a little more information about Coinbase, for those that don't already know. Bitcoin Receives Venture Capital Attention, Indirectly Through CoinbaseWritten on August 4, 2012... I wanted to take this time to highlight a very substantial event that happened just recently. This story has to do with a little start-up company known as Coinbase. Coinbase’s mission is to enable payment via email, of the bitcoin currency, similar to what Paypal did with US dollars over a decade ago. Y-combinator had just recently funded this company with the likes $164,000.00 and a three month acceptance into the highly prestigious y-combinator start-up class. This may not seem significant at first, but when you really look at what is happening here, you start to realize how profound this is. Since y-combinator is a venture capital firm, they have taken the careful first step of sinking institutional money into a company that is in direct proximity with bitcoin, the peer to peer digital currency. This is HUGE. Whilst no investment firms thus far have sunken VC money into bitcoin directly (at least publicly), this investment into Coinbase by Y-combinator makes a very bold statement to the world.
Y-combinator is a venture capital recruiting camp of sorts, for start-up companies. Y-combinator is not just any vc firm, they are one of the most notable across the globe, and is headed by one of the early founders of Yahoo, Paul Graham. They’ve successfully incubated the growth of companies by the names of reddit, dropbox, airbnb, and the like. Coinbase was accepted into the y-combinator program in June. Do you see where this is going? ...

I've transferred coins from coinmbase today:)
I imagine there are a lot of people doing that. Withdraw them before they disappear from your balance. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Yup, I got ~half of the first balance but I was seriosly afraid that I won't get anything. Too good do be 100% true I guess. Ooo just got another one... my link is still working. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It is such a small amount that I won't withdraw and just watch to see what happens to it.

The main reason I didn't use this site yet is it's not at all clear to me that the sellers are the real creators of the content. What stops somebody from registering as a seller and just uploading other peoples music?
If there was a way for a seller page to link to some proof of ownership, like a page/tweet/Facebook post/whatever on the creators official sites naming CoinDL as a market, that would help a lot.
http://www.justinbporter.com/ shows a link to CoinDL. Instead of a link what is needed, imo, is a way for artists, who are not technically inclined, to be able to sell their stuff directly from their own website.

All good points.. important to note this pool; as far as the website front page states, calculates the round shares over 1/2 difficulty shares.. so over 1 million shares per round at current difficulty. If you've disconnected long enough for that many shares to go by without contributing, then I think you would deserve to have lost your contribution. Anyone mining who is only running for part of the day or suffers from instability and lots of down time should probably just use a PPS pool.
I have been mining for over a year and I still can't see a consensus in regard to the question of what is the best type of pool for someone who mines only during the day and shuts their computer off at night. Some people are adamant that PPLNS is the best for that type of user while there are others who feel, like above, that PPS is the best. Lol

my dad has been using the internet for 15 years or more, I'm 50 in November, I guess he's old, seemed to get the idea when I explained it to him last time I caught up.
I have to say it generalisations ie: "isms" are not valid, age.., race...,sex...
Yes, one needs to determine if they are a neophobe or a neophile to know how to proceed.

My Coinbase balance is back up to where it was 2 days ago. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Still waiting for a response to my latest email to them. --- And in other free bitcoins news... if you follow Bitcrate on twitter and happen to be in front of your computer when they announce "new coins are in! Get them while they're hot!" you might get something before they run out again... lol

I'm waiting on a reply from coinbase concerning an issue I had earlier today, I had 2 pending deposits of .20BTC/ea that suddenly disappeared. Will update when it gets resolved.
You just posted this while I was composing my last post here. Yes I have noticed some issues like that myself. I had my balance go down and then this morning they were able to put it right again but they still seem to be having problems. Yes please do update us on your situation.

Is everybody taking advantage of the promotional give away from Coinbase? You can use This Link to get your 0.10 BTC for signing up and verifying your account. Anyone had any problems in getting your 0.10 BTC? It seems some have had some problems not getting their payout, and the Coinbase people admit they have had to fix some bugs and deal with fake accounts etc., but that they are working to make sure things are working right. Post here to let us know if you have had any problems.

And Bitcrate gives this message right now: We are either processing payouts or out of Bitcoins to give out. We'll be back shortly with more free BTC! It's hard to keep up with demand without overflowing the site with ads. As a result, we're on and off. I limit each "on" rotation by the amount of coins we currently have in stock. I update the twitter feed whenever we have more coins. Thanks for the information.
