First, I did invest into BTC. Second, even if I did not, there re still alts who can reach 10x, 50x, 100x growth. It s much more prudent to expect a great alt which is worth 50 cents, for example, will reach $1 compared to expecting BTC to go from $5k to $10k.

Nicehash is OK, it s a tool for less experienced miners who do not want to play with exchanging their mined coins for other coins or BTC. You do earn a bit less as compared to mining coins directly since they do charge a fee for their service. Also, if you mine alts, you can time when to sell them and this might add additional profitability to your rigs.

If you do decide to go with Nicehash, I suggest you combine it with some other service like DMD multipool for example. DMD Diamond is a PoS coin which currently gives you 25% annual interest rate. I m sorry to tell you but YES, you could ve been a millionaire. However, you still can be a millionaire, there re several promising altcoins which can bring you a lot of money. They probably wont repeat BTC success but you could see 50x price growth with some of them without issues.

So, dont cry over spilled milk but go and do some research!

Well, I would watch it a bit different. We should have 16.5 million BTC currently in the market, about 1 mill s probably lost as you say, so 15.5 million currently in the wild. This gives us $4k price since supply and demand re in the equilibrium. We ll have about 4.5 million more to be mined in the future and more and more coins will be lost.

As the supply shrinks, especially after the next halving, I can see $10k per BTC easy in the next 2-3 years, maybe even $20k.

The same will happen with prominent alts.

I repeat this over and over again. You need to have a bit more patience. Cause if you dont, you lose money 100%. For example, today Factom price went down, people paniced and sold at .0038. Immediately after that, a few hours lts, the price went back to .0045+. In short, weak hands lose money and should not be in crypto cause of that.
