441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: June 12, 2014, 06:01:58 PM
I'm just afraid UP has a ridiculous amount of unaccounted stakes. In which case the only morally right thing would be for him to give them away.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: June 12, 2014, 05:30:02 PM
Let's not panic people. We'll sort this out.
You're freaking out over the actions of one dude.
What if it came out that Satoshi it trolling btt hard ? What anyone give a rats ass ?

Its not about the trolling anymore... UP multiaccounted to receive multiple stakes...

Also the market cares, 33% price down!

Idiots actually bought NEM shares. THERE ISNT EVEN A FREAKING COIN OUT. THE DEVELOPERS SCAMMED YOUR DUMB ASSES.

Welcome to my...you know the drill.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 12, 2014, 03:12:46 PM
A while ago the community was looking for a speaker that "breathes" NXT. I think you got him in John Manglaviti - I don't know who would fill these shoes better. I've heard a few speaches but this one pulled me in the most, he's a natural born speaker.

(I have no idea how shady or not his past is, just talking about the presentation)
here you can compare Nxt speakers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjGwnGEwZHw

Alright, thanks.

Looks fantastic.

Whitdrawals work fine at the moment.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NFDv2] No IPO - NXT fork - NFD distribution on: June 08, 2014, 07:29:04 PM
I'm quite surprised about the attention Nxtblg is putting into notifying us via PMs. Kudos to him.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: simcoin is a scam! the exact same scam as sharecoin! be warned! on: June 08, 2014, 06:35:59 PM
I'll tell you what should worry you more  Smiley The fact that he is deleting your posts ONE minute after they get posted. Meaning he's spending his time like that instead of coding  Cheesy

But this? Not enough...
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: simcoin is a scam! the exact same scam as sharecoin! be warned! on: June 08, 2014, 06:27:07 PM
Dude, you can't say "is a scam" and then "screams of scam". Either you have proof or you have suspicions.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][BTC][LTC][BCN][MRO][QCN][FCN][duck] Minergate on: June 08, 2014, 09:18:45 AM
I can't withdraw my coin. When i click withdraw nothing happens.  Angry

This.

Btw, is anyone mining duckNotes? Are you getting coins confirmed? I test mined some yesterday but still nothing.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 07, 2014, 07:07:59 PM
So used to being able to search by an address that I totally left aside this little bit.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 07, 2014, 06:01:00 PM
One more thing. Why aren't Monero Block Explorers searchable by the addresses? (only hash, transaction ID)...pretty inconvenient.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][BTC][LTC][BCN][MRO][QCN][FCN][duck] Minergate on: June 07, 2014, 05:46:12 PM
Minergate admin, fix the whitdrawals otherwise soon enough people won't be mining on your pool at all. It's a priority over other updates.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 07, 2014, 05:10:17 PM
I don't think it makes sense though. They just upgraded their software, added a new coin. I doesn't look like they're shutting down.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 07, 2014, 04:51:29 PM
Do NOT use minergate, they will scam your coins. You won't be able to withdraw your coins and their support will reply to you!

What are you talking about? Does this have any credence at all? Just fudding?

Can someone else confirm or deny this statement?

Here is all the proof,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=528848.new#new

Just tried it myself and you're right about not working at the moment.

Which is the most trusted forging leash pool?
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: June 05, 2014, 04:01:13 PM
It could very well be that shareXcoin is busto because so many deposited fork-qora into the site, and now refuse to resubmit the deposits.

Zip can't handle a 100 BTC loss.

Was this avoidable with the involvement of the Qora team?
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: June 05, 2014, 10:03:24 AM
I've decided to move some of my investments by selling some DRK. (Even though I think DRK will keep rising, I'd like to spread the risk a bit). I'm looking into 100% POS coins as I like the concept. Not that fond if POW/POS hybrids (even though I must admit that I own some BC). I was almost convinced to buy NXT when I found this thread. I think I'll wait to see how the last events will effect on the coin.

How many coins are mined BTW? I'd like to estimate a market cap.

Do you think Qoura will bounce back after this?

Also I agree with BitcoinForumator, a better dev communication channel is needed.

Thing is if you read back through Qoras posts he says he expected bugs in the client
I've all new coins did including a bitcoin still has. he advised against trading, we did it. he said he wouldn't market the coin till he implemented all the functions, we did it. So the problem is not the developers communication is the community not really listening, me included.

BIG RED LETTERS on first page, that's what's missing.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: June 05, 2014, 09:59:55 AM
Usually this is done with big red letters type of notify. Not just with "oh we have a new client". I mean, I wish I could have reacted properly. At least I could have not bought on Sharexcoin at that time or something.

Things have definitely become quite complicated with everything going on right now...  but I have been through development efforts that faced similar issues (excluding the latest ShareXcoin drama) and all I would like to say right now is that people should be prepared for long resolution time-frames.

What if we are looking at a potential 3-6 month development time-frame?  Some of us are prepared for that.

Yeah, issues, I'm aware of that. But I think that the Qora team didn't react properly either.
