I'm thinking of maybe an open source, publicly auditable vending machine design which can dispense gold and silver coins in exchange for digital warehouse receipts purchased with Bitcoin. The vending machines could be located in places like Dubai where such machines already exist. The digital receipts can circulate, be split, and combined as a cryptocurrency, backed and always exchangeable for physical metal at a vending machine.

The following is an outline to develop a Free and Open Source, Unhosted, Serverless, P2P Trading System. Please let me know of any suggestions.

My guess is that the ASIC chip manufacturers stalled the delivery while mining themselves up to the end of the bubble in mid April. It's pretty coincidental that deliveries started trickling started shortly after. It could be the ASIC sellers were doing this but more likely, the suppliers to the sellers.
