FPL has some odd rules, but don't worry, everyone is entering the league with a wounded team and will take a hit in someway. Taking hit is part of the game. I only have 8 available players in my team, and I'm fine with starting at -12 in the new league as long as I get the squad I want. Your league, your rules  Maybe I am complicating things here but you could all agree to take the same hit. Let's say 20 points and then you are all on the same start. |

For main league folks, what are your plans for massive blank in GW29? I'm stuck between using my WC or fold my hands, do nothing and risk getting a beat-down to the sub 20s like Igebotz.  I did nothing. And got a grand total of nothing points so far. Actually am quite amazed there are people scoring 70 points in this week. Any advice from non 2nd-chance league players on what I should do this week to get my leg back up? I'm thinking to stay with who I got (but need to ship out two injuries if they don't recover by the weekend). Need my points and some emergency mbtc for end of season. As captain of the second chance league, my unpopular advice to you is to wipe out your whole squad and take as many hits as possible; your journey in the main league is already over.... You now have the option of starting with 0 points from GW30, meaning your points in the main league are now worthless. Take the Sheriff advice at your own risk.... Only good think about this week is that it is equally bad for most of us. Feels like wasted chip though. Nothing to do about that

I guess we will now be in for a relegation fight this season two games, two loses, doesn't sound good at all management board concluded that manager is here to stay, due to results in last three seasons, but they will not have patience as United for Eric Ten Hag, have to start getting better rather sooner than later Oh, you also lost your second in a row? That's tough. My next opponent is Harkorede who won his first round against mitchr4 who is also your next opponent  I also don't know how much patience will my board have with me. I have to step up my game a little bit. I still have a feeling that it was easier to win in the first two rounds. It looks like another low scoring week. I think it would be the lowest since the start of the season? Someone help me confirm. Highest I've seen so far is 28. I'm glad I didn't user my WC to onboard spurs assets only to see them get thumped hard by Fulham.
A terrible GW for sure. How I managed to free hit and get the some of the GWs best and left them right there on the bench. Every single player on my bench right now have got more points than my entire 7 on field players to have been played combined. What rubbish! I tried to avoid this, tried to hit my bench boost chip but, it seems the FPL is played by one chip per GW. First time I got Reguilon on my team, he gets a red card just few minutes into the game. It’s just wow what am seeing and I’m just waiting on the blank GW to just pass! Spurs couldn’t even manage a goal. I had high hopes on them but, Fulham was just so much for Spurs to try and contend. Always one chip per week rule, but you are gonna want to use it on GW37 anyway, trust me  Only good think about this week is that it is equally bad for most of us. Feels like wasted chip though. I see match is interrupted because of the rain, so this could be a very long day  Should be a short break, it is just drizzle and Indian Wells isn't a place actually known to have a lot of rain Just wanted to see some tennis before sleeping but now who knows. Needed a break after watching all those misses by Spurs and me having them as both to score on all tickets.

This is not happening!!! After looking at all fixtures in this gameweek, I was 110% sure the best assets to own should come from Tottenham & nothing else ..and I tune in to see what's happening in this match against Fulham only to find that Spurs is trailing by 3 goal's to nil and am wondering what's happening here??? Smh 2 free transfers wasted  @#$& Spurs , unbelievable result !!! Yeah free hit squads falling on their asses. Two best teams to pick from, Spurs & Brentford both fumbled. Too make it even worse I had big ticket on both to score on all Premier League matches today. Spurs doing Spursy things, I really don't know how they didn't score a couple today. |

Major blank Gameweek and thread is quiet a day before, haha. I'm in a tight spot and have two options — either I use my WC and change my squad to fit GW29 or I just use whatever free transfers I have and get ready to drop below top 20. If I use my WC, it means I will have to spend the next 3-4 weeks fixing my team again to current state. It sucks that I already used my free hit chip before this blank GW 29 was announced.
Don't know when you used your free hit but blank GW29 was a given from the moment season started. We just did not know who will blank and how big it will be. In the end it is a big blank, usually there are more surprises in cup so we get a game or two more. |

Anyway is there also a way for me to peek the lineup for this round from another player ? cant seems to find the way to peek on players from our pool but probably from random players from another pool?
You can't peak on anybody before the deadline. After the deadline passes games goes into update mode and after about 30 minutes you can see all the teams. Just the way game works and very fair if you think about it. |

iirc I get to swap as many players as I want to with free hit right? but after the round ends, it will goes back to my original players? I have like 7 out of 11 lineup players that wont play on the next round though so probably this is going to be a good time for me to use the free hit isnt it?

I was absolutely unlucky about TC boost. If Solanke didn't miss the penalty at the beginning of the first match I'm sure that things would have been much more different. Semenyo move was risky but I wanted to transfer him because of his regularly making score contribution in the recent matches and this worked. After leaving a few bad weeks behind this yellow cap was great for me. I assume I rushed about joining the second chance league. Worked out good enough. Tc is really chip that is totally luck based. Trust me you did well. |

I checked the last round and in both first and second division maximum number of correct answers was six. Is there a single person who will stand up for Doku's incident in the last minute like it wasn't a penalty?
Well. I'm one of the biggest LFC supporters on the forum and I'll tell you that I think it would have been a soft one to give. I did see them given though - and I think the ref should have checked it himself. I'm leaning towards it not being enough for a penalty, but would have liked that the procedures were followed properly. When VAR first came out it was supposed to be to "correct obvious referee mistakes". I still believe that is the best way to use VAR. If you have to watch the slow monition from 10 different angles to judge the situation just stick with original decision. In this case it could have gone both ways and sticking with original decision (no pen) was the right call for me. If the ref pointed to the spot nobody could have objected though. I hate it when we have different criteria in the boy and outside. If that was happening in center circle I am sure foul would be given and maybe even yellow card but I guess we will always have that discrepancy. |

That's a pretty sweet prize pool! You basically have to be top14 for Div1 and top12 for Div2 to get your money back, can't beat that in any league around here Yeah we are keeping it that way so every single player has something to play for until last round. It isn't the same no matter where you finish. There is also an obvious negative side to it that our champion does not get a cut as big as in other pools but we feel it is more than offset by the community rivalry and shorter season length. We have much better dynamic with promotions/relegations every 4 months than what we would have with year long competition. And that way everyone has something to prove all the time. For instance in usual pools if you are bottom of the pile after half of the season, only yellow cap is left to play for and it is basically a wait until next September for the real competition rush again. |

I know that we will have situations like this again. But This time it was done correctly that djokovic was not made "Void" because he is out of tournaments before the deadline. I hope it continues like this, that's why we have VAR 😁
This time it was a perfect case to let it stand. If tournament was played right before the deadline maybe third of the league would be in significant disadvantage to to their time zone. If it was stand alone question and not 1/5 points in it - it would have much higher impact. There are many things to consider and we try to post full proof questions but that is almost impossible for sports like tennis, snooker, DOTA.... |

@Trofo, @cryptofrka, when I sent in my VAR request, a question came to my mind that I once again have no idea whether this has ever been answered before. I didn't use VAR so far, hence I wasn't looking into the topic in detail. But today I wondered whether 1 VAR point always applies to a whole round no matter how many changes, or to 1 change in an answer to 1 specific question. If I wanted to change the Djokovic answer today and another answer, would that still be -1 VAR? Or would it count as -2 VAR?
Again, apologies if I overlooked that answer somewhere, but I believe it doesn't exactly state this on the first page.

That's what I did this round and used VAR on 2 questions.. I'm also not sure if I used 2 VAR this round or if 1 VAR can be used on all the questions. This is why I always send my answers late😁 I trusted djokovic too much this time, and the odds was @17 for him to lose😁 1 question equals 1 VAR. So in your case Slissy, you are down to just one more for the season. Will this be the first season when someone uses up all their VAR checks? So far it wasn't very popular and we had less VAR usage in last 2 seasons combined than in this round |

@Trofo - the last question I can't remember what I tick there. I put those answers at gun point if it's not Bacelona to win against ATM then please activate my VAR and change my answer to Bacelona win. You did not have it. Consider it changed.
@ALL In future please send VAR changes to PM, that way we keep thread cleaner and don't give out info to other players. Ok in this case it isn't any new info so not a big deal. If VAR isn't implemented as soon as we open the table don't worry, we will change your answers during next 24 hours. If they aren't changed by then just remind us once more. Every message we receive is time stamped and as long as it is before the deadline consider your VAR challenge successful.

Come on man, that’s heartbreaking for those without Son, no need saying that out loud, lol… am glad I had to transfer him in. Best choice I made this GW. Bad bad week no the less and even if I had captained Saka, would have been worst still. Hope Solanke gets some points in their next fixture but, even then it wouldn’t matter. Seems all y’all captained him as well.
Calling them like I see them, probably some poor soul even without Palmer yesterday Son was probably the best pick, especially for those not free hitting GW29 while Palmer is just incredible value for money and he will not leave my team unless some injurie happens. |
