441  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: August 23, 2021, 05:14:01 AM
what really matters is the presence of gratitude.  because I often find investors who feel dissatisfied after selling their assets.  Even though the investor has made a lot of profit, it turns out that the price of the asset he previously owned is still pump price.  we need to know that it is not a mistake.  because At Profit is not a failure.  You get that profit is an achievement.
I often experience this. I sold the coins I got from the bounty for xxx, and not long after that the price went up by more than 500%. Of course I'm very sorry I didn't hold it in a little longer. Then my friend advised me not to go to the market and not to watch the movement of the coins that were already sold. That advice is quite effective because if I still monitor the price of the coins I sell and the price keeps going up, I will regret it.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: August 22, 2021, 09:00:47 AM
In my opinion, if the market really goes crazy and bitcoin's price hits $60,000 to $100,000, which is where a similar big drop in 2018 might follow.
some time ago bitcoin had reached new ATH at the price of $60k and after that the price dropped by 50%. it didn't take long for bitcoin to recover and now the bitcoin price is on a positive trend. meaning that before a price decline such as 2018-2020 bitcoin must penetrate ATH which is much higher than before. maybe in the $200k - $250k price range.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: August 22, 2021, 07:44:00 AM
Coronavirus is the most killer virus that spread around the world . People scared and frustrate on this problem that in everyday have a new list of affected of covid-19  otherwise hundreds of people die in everyday. People empower to go back the new normal life, and do the precautionary measurements to avoid and prevent the covid-19 virus.

Yes, it already kills many people from different countries. Though there are already vaccines that was developed it still continues to spread. And also not all people can get vaccinated easily that may still take few moths to make at least 75% of population be vaccinated because:
1. The production of vaccines, it needs to provide millions of vaccines a day and also it needs to distribute it, that may take time.
2. Some people are hesitant to be vaccinated because of fake news and some health conditions
3. When a vaccines were developed a new variant of virus exist.
case number 2 is a case that often occurs in my place. The rapidly growing use of social media makes fake news about vaccines spread quickly. This problem certainly hampers the government's performance to stop this pandemic. I really wonder why they trust fake news created by irresponsible people more than the government.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: August 22, 2021, 07:08:26 AM
In my country, only old people are getting vaccinated first. They are only allowing basis of needs like health workers, govt officials, defense forces will get vaccinated first. I am still waiting for my turn and govt assured me that every citizen will be vaccinated before Q1 2022. I am assuming that everything will be normal after that. Hope this process will be quick and easy.
the number of vaccines that are not many makes many people have to wait to get the vaccine. all want to return to normal life and that will be achieved once they have been vaccinated. now go to the mall and look for a job must be able to show a vaccination card, so it's no wonder that vaccines are now a bone of contention for many people.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 21, 2021, 04:08:39 PM
I did earn money online but I didn't earn that much as I visit this forum seldomly as I focused on my real job and not long ago I was quarantined when I got positive with covid19 virus and thank god I am now okay. Most of us here replying on this thread have earned money on signature campaigns and bounty campaigns.

the same thing happens to most people, they make this work part of the side activity when they have free time. but not a few are willing to leave their main job and make this job their main job. they join airdrops and bounties then use the money they earn to trade. those who are successful with this job will definitely choose this job and leave their old job because they can make money from home and earn more money than their previous salary.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: August 21, 2021, 03:46:59 PM
i always learn how to be a good person.
my friend as a member always sell its coin after receive from bounty, but sometimes he will hold it. but, he never regret after decide it, big or small profit will convert into grateful. he think, its enough to change that money into food for some day.
the amount you get from the airdrop or bounty completely depends on your fate and analysis. no one knows the future of a project, it can get more expensive or even have no value. I agree with your friend's attitude, whatever you get today deserves to be grateful and there is no need for regret.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: August 20, 2021, 08:28:52 AM
follow my thoughts on the picture you are referring to and compare the future profitability of crypto as well as fiat money on savings, this is if true what you are trying to send to people then in my opinion you are right about the current cryptocurrency if we hold it for a long time such as 5 years, now the number is x many times and the fiat money they make is quite low and almost if 5 years later then that profit will be 0. why because 5 years later money loses value and the bank refund rate is very low and we also refund zero.

In my country if we save money in banks then we only get bank interest of about 10% per year, of course this is a very small value if we invest in crypto, since 2016 I only filled my savings for daily and monthly needs, the rest I immediately bought crypto, This is a move that will make me a big profit one day.
Of course investing in crypto is much more profitable than saving money in a bank because saving money in a bank is not an investment. when you save in the bank the money is used for capital and the 10% interest per year you get is only a small part of the profits the bank gets.
448  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: mana yg lebih untung : Trading coin vs Hold coin on: August 20, 2021, 08:19:11 AM
449  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: JOIN BOUNTY MASIH PROFIT GK ? on: August 20, 2021, 07:54:43 AM

450  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: GAS FEE ETH MAHAL ! on: August 20, 2021, 07:42:42 AM
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: August 19, 2021, 09:07:20 AM
Until now, it seems that the impact is very significant for the workers and middle to lower businesses so that with the addition of rising food commodities, they fall into a high economic downturn. I hope the government is more concerned with small communities in making decisions to deal with the current pandemic After all, the lock down solution is not the best and most appropriate
actually lockdown is a form of government concern for the people, even though in its implementation many people are affected (especially small people). the government doesn't want this virus to spread and kill more people. The biggest impact of the lockdown is economic hardship and hunger, therefore the government must also be active in providing assistance to reduce the burden on the people affected by the lockdown.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: August 19, 2021, 08:37:54 AM
news about legality can make cryptocurrency even more popular. as we know if the legality of cryptocurrencies in most countries is still a question mark. only a small number of countries openly say that they have legalized cryptocurrencies. if most countries openly legalize cryptocurrencies, I believe the popularity of cryptocurrencies will increase drastically.
453  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 19, 2021, 08:19:30 AM
I don't have any online works aside from joining a bounty and trading just to earn money to support my family this difficult time of covid-19 pandemic. I'm lucky that there is a digital currency that we can use to earn because if not, I don't know what kind of online job I'm doing right now. In crypto, I am enjoying while stay at home with my children at the same time having an income through this digital currency.
Not everyone is as lucky as you, if you can survive just by playing crypto you are a very lucky person. most people make crypto as a side job, so when they lose their job due to this pandemic they still have to find another job. I myself have not been able to fully depend on crypto because to meet my needs I also run an online business.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 19, 2021, 08:05:03 AM
For now, I think it's good to hold on. Buying BTC at this time is also good but tends to fall again in price. If you have made such a decision, then the advice I can give is not to hold BTC until the end of the year, just until October.
Market conditions for Bitcoin today improved by 1.72%, meaning it is still good.

As long as we don't really need money then long term hold is a good thing, I'm not sure october price will skyrocket again, usually price skyrocket is december, keep buying and holding is the best thing for bitcoin investment.
no one knows what will happen in october, the price could move up or down. but if you look at bitcoin price movements lately, most likely in October there will be no significant price changes. So I agree with you, holding bitcoin is the best option right now.
455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: August 16, 2021, 02:37:42 PM
I don't think that it's the bull market again for bitcoin, it's a bit slow of a run if it really is a bull run in my opinion. For me, the best thing to do is watch out for the market and be careful while on it because we don't know what's in store for it's future, hodl if you can and don't panic over short-term dumps, you wull only lose money.

Bitcoin shall be on bullrun right now if there's no FUD whenever it will break the important price resistance. Bitcoin fails to maintain price above 46K and currently having a minor pull back. There some news about coinbase and China that might cause another FUD to the market. BTC is doing a good run from 32K until now but you are right that it's too early to say that we are on bullrun unless the price break the ATH since the current price is still too far from it right now.
although currently the price of bitcoin is in a positive trend but I doubt that bitcoin will break through ATH in the near future. maybe bitcoin will experience a deep correction before bitcoin breaks through ATH and then creates a new much higher ATH.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: August 16, 2021, 07:23:54 AM
a very valuable lesson from this thread is investing in bitcoin is a very profitable investment. $1 investment in 2010 would be $800k today. it is possible that the same scenario will occur in the next 10 years, meaning that the money you invest now will increase 800k% in the next 10 years.
It's not like we know what the future might hold plus, at that time people are still uncertain and the Internet was still rife with scams so the people don't trust new things from the Internet immediately plus the FUDs were really strong back then, bitcoin being used for scams, black market, and drug trafficking, any sane person will doubt it's credibility when something like this happens.
2018 says bitcoin price will reach $50k is considered impossible.
many people also say that in the future there will be a lot of bad news that will hit bitcoin and will kill bitcoin, but the fact is that until now the price of bitcoin continues to grow rapidly and bitcoin is increasingly popular.
457  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 16, 2021, 07:13:12 AM
This is the ironic part when people say that Bitcoin is risky when not holding Bitcoin and only holding fiat is more risky if they ever want a chance of being richer than they are.
What are the risks of holding fiat money?
holding bitcoin and holding fiat money is different, holding bitcoin can be interpreted as an investment but holding fiat money is not an investment. they say bitcoin is risky because the bitcoin price is very volatile which can cause a sudden decline in the asset.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 16, 2021, 06:51:05 AM
I think government regulations will not undermine the decentralized nature of crypto as long as they only regulate ownership of assets in crypto so that they are not used for crime. but if the rules are made too strict, it is likely that these rules can also damage the decentralization of crypto itself.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin investment on: August 16, 2021, 06:35:33 AM
currently bitcoin is on a positive trend, I think now is the right time to buy and hold. most likely next week the price of bitcoin will reach $50k and in the next few months it will pass the high price of yesterday. if you look at bitcoin price movements lately the opportunity to reach $100k before the end of the year is quite wide open. don't miss this moment like you missed the $30k moment.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 15, 2021, 11:27:59 AM
Are you still bullish despite the huge dump from ATH?
It is bullish, very clear since the early of 2021. Everyone should understand it, this bullish happened following the scheme of Bitcoin halving previously. Sure we have some big dumps during this year. But if we learn as a whole, Bitcoin and altcoins prices are growing greatly this year. Don't think in the bullish season will be no dumps, it should be always there. Correction or dump is a part of bullish, it balanced the crypto market.

many people are not aware of this problem. Many people think the previous drop in prices is a sign that the bull market is over. however bitcoin recovered quickly and bitcoin only lost 50% of its high price and certainly much better than in the 2018-2020 period. currently the price of bitcoin is starting to creep up and will reach a new ATH before the end of the year.
