There is a good chance that a few of the ginter x mini's #83 that I first auctioned in the display cases will grade at PSA 10. I always look at my cards under a 10X and handle with gloves and recall looking at a few gems. Hope those auction winners get 10's  I assume nitrile or latex gloves, correct? as to me, cotton gloves would be a corner catching hazard. I use cotton and never touch the edges otherwise you are correct the cotton can catch the edge. Many do not use gloves and that's ok too, just make sure hands are clean and free of any oil. I don't believe gloves are used at PSA during grading but, those are professionals and know how to handle a card carefully. You live on the edge Dolph. I couldn't handle that stress. "dont touch an edge, dont touch an edge dont touch an edge" When the years of coin handling taught me "only touch the edge" If I'm about to open packs or switch a card into a different holder, I simply wash and prep myself & surface like Im about to do surgery. thanks for info! |
