- As a first step we are currently working on encrypted data transfer between nodes
B. we got 1 offer from one additional developer to finish PoSa4 (one-time-ring-signatures (OTRS) based on the CryptoNote codebase) we negotiate now about more details
- UPDATE: We have just had an informal interview with the developer we were looking to hire. We have decided not to take him on and will continue our search for a developer to complete PoSA4.

Let me add that Alty doesn't deserve any respect cause all he did was hype, lies, and insidier trading.
well c4shm3n is doing the same thing, posting 'developments' when price is tanking. only 2K on bittrex now, buy order books almost empty posa 1 until 4 doesn't matter, it's now associated with epic failure and losing your btc so i do same? please jorrr so say me: when i am lie? when i am hype? when i do inside trading? Don't bite! You'll hurt your teeth, Cashmen  Take a look at Supercoin. New dev team and forum! So far no one has been able to prove Supercoin doesn't have working anonymous Transactions with multisignature. It is open source btw! Trading with exchanges and storing multiple cryptocurrency like bitcoin, cloakcoin, litecoin, etc with the same wallet! where is whitepaper for it?..... the last code we checked was incomplete and it was 0.0% trustless..... good luck with it! |

community updateDear Community,
As many of you are aware, we found a number of issues with both PoSA1 and PoSA3. Our plan initially was to further secure PoSA1 (while working in tandem to complete the remaining PoSA3 work). In our opinion PoSA1 in its current form is not fit for purpose due to the possibility of rogue/malicious nodes stealing funds as they are passed from node to node during a PoSA1 transaction.
We have devised a modified system that functions as a decentralized coinjoin mixing service, without the need for the multiple mixing/splitting hops that open up PoSA1 to abuse by bad actors on the network. We have been referring to this system internally as PoSA3, with PoSA4 being the next step: A Bitcoin based implementation of one-time-ring-signatures (OTRS) favoured by Monero and other coins based on the CryptoNote codebase. As many of you will be aware, CryptoNote coins differ significantly from Bitcoin based coins, so implementing OTRS in Cloak is by no means a trivial task. The previous developers laid some of the groundwork, but the majority of the key functionality was never written. We are continuing to liaise with a number of recommended developers with a view to finding suitable resources to complete the PoSA4 (OTRS) work. As we have mentioned previously, this remains a priority and we are looking to outsource some of this PoSA work to enable us to concentrate on OneMarket internally using our in-house development resources.
We will share more information on the outsourcing once we have received quotes from the developers, and we can then address funding for the work. As always, the Cloak Team is open to new members who wish to help with Cloak going forward, however they can
I still have faith in Cloak and we are working hard behind the scenes. We expect to have more news regarding the additional development resources over the next few days and will update the community then.

It isnt the same... onemarket its different
Well, onemarket doesn't exist and won't exist for a long time (if ever). That makes it pretty different. As far as I know development of onemarket stopped long before Alty abandoned CLOAK, correct cashmanymen? its hard to say exactly when it was stoped development... i didnt talk to x11joe since he left to his business trip.... there is some code for one market but we dont focus atm on it.... like i allready said our focus now is posa..... then as next step we will focus on onemarket! |

I've been trying to stake a little bit, moving my (couf) 230 cloak between my addresses.
However, the wallet says estimated time 13 hours and i have moved them around 5 times with no result.
Is this normal? i'm just trying to test if the staking works right, is this amount enough or will it go forever before staking?

you have to move coins after staking occurs. If you move before you stake then dont stake. But coins max age for staking is 8 hours, right? don't i have to move them after that time passed or will it stake anyway? Thanx a lot, I didn't exactly know how staking worked Best regards! you dont need to move after 8h you coins, but i get more staking amount if i do this. If my wallet its online 8h it will be staking? 3h is enought then you should get staking amounts |
