441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin and other coins need is REAL demand on: April 01, 2018, 05:49:12 AM
I have been in the game for less than a year but the more I try to get information and the more I am convinced that last year huge boost in price was the result of PURE manipulations from very influent persons, and at the end of 2017 Wall Street, hedge funds took part of this too!

What Bitcoin and other coins need is REAL demand, based on real value of the coins, for using digital money as money. It's gonna take a while I think, 2017 was an anomaly.

Discuss.

But the problem is how can we make such real demand? I believed too that real demand will exist only after the price of Bitcoin will be manipulate to rise up in which the real demand will ride to the flow making the price of Bitcoin to rise up even more. Without the price up manipulation like by the big whales it is impossible to real demand to work of its own. So i think we should accept the fact that we really need the power of manipulation and be on board when it comes not by just relying to real demand because it is very difficult to make it real and ride unto it.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token distribution using KYC verification on: April 01, 2018, 04:12:53 AM
several bounty projects, are now beginning to implement KYC on the distribution of their tokens
when I send my identity card is this safe? could it be misused?

As long as the ICO project is legit or not a scam then it is safe for us to pass our required identification documents so therefore we must ensure that the ICO is not illegal because once we failed to verify the legitimacy of the project facilitators in which we have given them our identifications and personal details then the possibility that it might be use in illegal activities is huge.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: Google ban cryptocurrency Ads ( maybe their joke of the year ) on: March 31, 2018, 07:46:43 AM
On 18 march Google said will ban all crypto related Ads services but until now I still see the ads running, what a jokes?

The banning will take effect on June 2018 so no need to be excited. Please see this link https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/13/google-bans-crypto-ads.html So therefore, all incoming ICO will have lot of time to plan very well their project advertisements before that day as i think Google is final on their decision of banning even do they will lost a huge potential income from advertising business if they ban Crypto. Lucky for those ICO that projects are already started that will end before June.
444  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Breaking: China May Legalize ICO Soon on: March 30, 2018, 04:14:20 AM
According to https://t.me/oneminute_crypto_news and https://twitter.com/EricBai_89, in a public interview by Chinese official web media, People's Web, a famous scholar Dong Yang released that Chinese SEC is conducting the legal research to legalize the ICO and the ICO will become a legit tool of crowdfunding soon.

This should accept the fact that Bitcoin is not stoppable that Bitcoin enthusiast will find ways on how to continue trade and invest. Except if China will apply a harsh move to ban it then maybe it will be totally a stop to their country. Now we should consider it that they give up the chase and start to realized that Bitcoin can't be stop but can be regulate and treat it as advantage for their economy.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: March 30, 2018, 02:42:51 AM
The trend now regarding bitcoin is that it constantly goes down in every second and every minute. Is this the end of it? Will there be any possibility that its value becomes zero? Or specifically demonetised? Because for me I think 5 to 10 years from now this will happen simply because of the appearance of other alternative coins. What's your opinion about it?

There is 0% chance possibility that the price of Bitcoin will become less or as good as zero. This is due to every dip will be an opportunity by the other specially both the new comers and the investors to buy it at cheaper price so therefore the investments will never lost and Bitcoin will never become a zero value but i think we should start to be use to it with the lower value of the Bitcoin.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is these the REASON why crypto-currencies are dropping? on: March 29, 2018, 11:16:39 AM
More Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges to close, why?

We all know that this country is embracing cryptocurrencies, so far they are the largest stockholder in cryptocurrencies with many crypto exchanges company but now in TOKYO -- Two more Japanese cryptocurrency market operators are quitting as regulators tighten oversight of the sector, which makes five exchanges closing so far in the wake of a half-a-billion-dollar cryptocoin theft in January. And the five exchange operators that have decided to pull out of the business, and one of these is Binance.

Do you think guys they will fix these problems earlier?
It has a very bad effect on crypto just like happen now..But no matter what happens still holding is the best part to contribute with a help with them. Am I right?

I have a source of this I will not include in this post to avoid traffic.

I agree with you, selling Altcoins are just making it worst but this as not only the reason of why Market is in difficult again right now because there are lot of reasons that contributed to the dip like the FB, Google and Twitter banning of Crypto currencies and the ICO, the regulation in which the market is not as freely to invest than before and some FUD creating panic selling and make the new comers to be in doubt to join this investment.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Korean whales will pump TRX to $1 next week on: March 29, 2018, 07:42:20 AM
First, I want to tell you I am Korean myself living in the United States and know quite some people who have connections with crypto whales in Korea. I initially decided not to share this. However, I wanted to share some good for the bitcointalk community. Wink I hope I don't get ban for this kinds of post. Basically, yesterday I attended a networking event. I had opportunity to speak with a great Korean investor who has many connections with crypto whales in Korea and has received inside information that they will pump TRX to $1 next week on the 31st. If you didn't know, the coinburn and beta launch is coming next week as well as the test/main net. Def a good time to buy TRX right now for insane profit coming next week .

Very lucky for those who have TRX investments that keep on holding their TRX coins and i think that even the Crypto market is now struggling.i could see that the TRX value is not affected and keep on slowly moving up. I just hope that the Korea Big whales will not only pump up TRX but also the Bitcoin and Ethereum too. Because once these coins will rise up it will create domino epic to most of the Altcoins to rise up too.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: Charity Accepting Bitcoins? on: March 29, 2018, 05:09:03 AM
If there is a charity accepting bitcoins do you prefer to give some of yours Huh

Me: I will if there is, but for now I don't have yet. Wink

EDITED:

Yeah it a hassle for now.

Another question: But what if there is fiat will be disappear in the future and crypto will conquered the world and all payment transactions will be on blockchain system?
So is this applicable right?

I think fiat and Bitcoin are both acceptable when it comes of helping people thru charities. If they will accepting Bitcoin then that's fine for me because i'm very much willing to give of any kind that i have just to share my blessings but if they need only cash then i will convert my Bitcoin into cash too so that i could still give my provision. Even if fiat disappears we could give help in any means and anything that is applicable in order to help but for now i don't know any charity institution that will accept Bitcoin donation.
449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $100,000 again on: March 29, 2018, 01:53:55 AM
This time last year many people make this same comments and the said "bitcoin will never get to $10,000" but we can see were it is today and in the same year bitcoin grow to $20,000. $100,000 is highly achievable and this growth maybe achieve before 2020. I cannot undermine the potential on how bitcoin will grow because what happened in the past is an eye opener.

But Bitcoin did not reach even $20,000 then how much more $100,000 that he said the word again? But still i don't believe it will going to reach this value because for me the more Bitcoin will become expensive to purchase the more small time investors will shift to Altcoins which are cheaper to purchase. In addition, there are lot of development now that may affect the Bitcoin price performance like  FB, Google and Twitter are going to ban Crypto currencies advertisements soon.

451  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down??? on: March 27, 2018, 02:29:50 AM
Is it because of the large number of altcoins?

If you mean is the dip that happen during last December to February this year then that was because of MT.Gox Bitcoin exchange in Japan in which they sold huge amount of Bitcoin during that months in which it result to totally fall down of Bitcoin price from $19,800 to $6,000. I though it was a normal corrections before but after the revelation i believed that this is a game of the big whales but discovered and revealed.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: March 26, 2018, 08:55:00 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

Bitcoin can ruin a country but not of mean by not able to collect tax on Bitcoin because it can collect tax thru exchange but rather it can ruin a country if the certain country did not regulate in which it  can freely use in illegal activities like money laundering, smuggling, drugs, weapons and even to use it to scam people by using the Bitcoin platform. These can be avoided if Bitcoin will be regulated in which it can be fully monitored the transactions and at the same time they can able to collect Bitcoin tax thru exchanges.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: March 26, 2018, 01:01:53 AM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

Well, Bitcoin is a currency that it can be use to both legal and illegal activities such as child pornograph. If the paper money like dollar in which a fiat currency can be use in any kind of payments for both legal and illegal then same with Bitcoin currency too. Same currencies but just different platform of payment but the good thing is we could regulate Bitcoin to avoid being used to such this illegal activity.
454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 91,000 by 2020? on: March 25, 2018, 05:24:20 AM
Fundstrat founder and strategist Tom Lee recently announced that bitcoin prices would reach $ 91,000 by March 2020. What do you think about this prediction? Please comment on this issue?

For me if will be impossible because the more Bitcoin will become expensive the more people will difficult to invest in it. Most of the investors are composed of small time investors that instead of buying Bitcoin they will shift to cheaper Altcoins so that they could still earn with their small capital but who knows their will be lot of billionaires out there that will realize and will support Bitcoin investment so we will just wait and see the future development.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential coins on: March 24, 2018, 08:15:48 AM
What are your top 5 or even top 10 list of cheap and potential coins to share and why. I want to choose according to technology, usability and community. WHile the market is bleeding, I guess this is the best time to take action and get some of the coins while cheap.

Please review about STK, WPR, UTK, MWAT and CAPP. These coins are cheaper but its a promising investments in which the team of each coins are now achieving some progress to the development of their coins in which we expect a higher yield within this year. Buy now and be on board while its not too late as the price value in the market are now slowly rising up.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Will future paper money disappear? on: March 24, 2018, 07:08:30 AM
With the development of cryptocurrency, more and more places accept bitcoin. In the future, will paper money disappear, and the money that people earn will be given to you in encrypted form, and the purchase will be paid in encrypted form?
Please give your opinion.

Paper money will not disappear because it is the most easy way to use than Crypto currencies. Money can be use anywhere unlike Crypto in which it will need the power of internet, computers and the most important is that the user should know how to use the digital transaction. Unlike money everyone can use that even the children know how to use it directly so therefore it is very impossible for the money to be obsolete.
457  Economy / Speculation / Re: New fall of bitcoin on: March 24, 2018, 05:21:15 AM
Some people predicted about this deep today 2 weeks ago  ( have a look on youtube : Financial Freedom ). Can we expect from now any improvement in the next couple of days and maybe a bull market?

Any one can tell a prediction in which they can easily say that the price will fall anytime even your neighbors could do that but the problem is if someone will fall for it that they will easily sell their coins without confirming if they are just joking or just a FUD that started to spread. Therefore we should confirm first before we believe like now that price is rising up that there is no dip really occur but just a normal process in the market.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: HODL mentality destroys the currency aspect of Bitcoin on: March 24, 2018, 02:11:25 AM
It seems like only a small fraction of bitcoins as well as other cryptocurrencies gets earned while the vast majority of the coins are bought. But when people buy coins, they obviously aim exclusively at selling them later at a higher price, which is what speculation basically consists in because it makes no economic sense to buy a cryptocurrency to spend it on goods when people can easily spend fiat instead. However, if the price goes down, people aren't going to spend their coins either. And whenever someone complains about prices going down, the only reply they receive is just to hold to their precious bitcoins, no matter what the price could or would be. I have yet to meet anyone telling these bag holders to spend their stashes on something useful.

Apparently, the HODL mentality kills the currency aspect of Bitcoin.

I think we should accept the fact that we joined Bitcoin as investment to earn more fiat for our future spending not as a currencies to be use for everyday spending. Holding our coins is the right thing to do in order for the Bitcoin demand to increase, to become expensive and earn bigger profit in the future not to dump it thru spending it. These is why i don't believe that fiat can be replace by Bitcoin except if the value will ratio to 1BTC is equal to 1$.
459  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Matthew 7:12 - Whatever they do to you, you shall also do to them on: March 23, 2018, 11:46:28 AM
I'm not a religious person, but this sounds good:

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you:
do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets

I don't believe for a minute governments and banks are protecting the common man.

They've set out to destroy their competitor, Bitcoin, and they're doing so by regulating it out of existence and spreading FUD.

I wish we could return the favor.

Don't forget why we got into Bitcoin in the first place.

Remember the 2008 crash, the LIBOR fraud, the rigged forex and derivatives markets, the RBS GRG & HSBC scandals and the inflationary monetary policies to bail out the TOO BIG TO FAIL banks.

But i think not all banks are against Bitcoin that all of them want Bitcoin to be eliminated because here in my country our Central banks are very supportive to Bitcoin in which they allow our major banks to be in partnership with our local exchange that we can use their cash out facilities anytime and anywhere every time we cash out. With this hospitality that given by our banks to us i could say banks are not really united of their stand against Bitcoin existence.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: March 23, 2018, 04:36:34 AM
Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

is it serious guys that it is over or what?

Last ultimate corrections really makes people in trauma that is why mostly become allergic every time they see BTC market is in red but those ultimate corrections were not a regulating activities but it was a revealed manipulation by MT.Gox trustee in Japan in which they sold their huge BTC on Dec to Feb resulting Bitcoin value to dip. So therefore this market value are all normal in which no more corrections will come but its just we need more investors to pump up BTC.
