Happened for me too again. Sorry you're having all these troubles on launch.

Yeah, its unfortunate. Sorry about the issues.

[Edit: I received some credit back to my account, which put me at an even 0.0002- I am uncertain how the jackpot works totally and how I ended up with such an even number. haha.]

[double edit: I think I understand the jackpot now Smiley]

Nice job, but I have to say the idea of having a bot that gambles for you is pretty stupid. Everyone knows that there is no winning strategy, right? So, a gambling bot is just a way to lose money while you sleep.
Bet-limits. I made 50 bucks off it, until I got cocky. You can have it run, and run but set a bet limit of say, 0.003, so the most you can lose at one given time is just 30 cents. That, and with a 45% win chance, you win 'roughly' every other bet, but that extra 5% adds extra funds to account for losses.

I didn't quite follow how the 55% chance of losing adds extra funds. Are you saying that you have a method for winning, or a method for losing less?

well, rather than a 49.5% chance of winning, which gives you 2x your bet, 45% gives you 2.2x. that extra .2x ads up when you win, but doesn't take more away from you when you lose. With a martingale strategy, you can account for your previous losses, and add extra. Say my bet start is 0.00001. If I lose, it will double to 0.00002, and then keep doubling until it wins. so, I could lose 0.0001, then lose 0.0002, but on my third I win with a 0.0004 bet, so I make 0.00042, which accounts for all previous losses, plus extra. My bet limit is 0.003, so I need roughly 8 or 9 losses in a row for my bets to hault and restart, and then I have to eat that 0.003 loss. Luckily, that doesn't happen very often. What's even less probable is having two 8-9 loss streaks in a row, so after losing 8 in a row, and eating the 0.003 loss, I could up my bet limits to 0.001, or 0.0001, and raise the bet limit a bit as well, or even just do it manually at that point. When I regain my losses (which happens very quickly) then I readjust to my lower start bet, and lower bet limit. but, that extra 0.2x is constantly building up for each win you accumulate in the meantime.

It's much better than just sitting there clicking the button 1 million times, and much more effective than just 1 or 2 big bets.

It seems to me that the purpose of gambling is to experience the fun of taking a chance and seeing the outcome. If you have a bot gambling for you then the experience is gone, so what is the purpose?

Oh no, the experience is still definitely there. I don't just hit run and walk away. I generally watch the numbers move. Set my parameters, hit the run button and see how things unfold. Sometimes you may see a pattern emerge and want to tweak your bot a bit here and there too. (gamblers fallacy, I know Tongue) It actually adds some extra thrill to it seeing 100 bets run, rather than just a couple. It also *seems* to add an extra layer of strategy that I enjoy. I suppose it all comes down to preference though.

WELCOME TO BIT BIT
(The Forum)
A BITCOIN SITE OF OPPORTUNITY!

BIT BIT IS ALL ABOUT OPPORTUNITY AND HERE IS THE REASON WHY AND ITS PURPOSE.

A NEW GLOBAL SOCIETY IS TAKING FORM. A GREAT RESPONSIBILITY IS ON THE FOUNDERS WHO ARE LAYING THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH THIS NEW SOCIETY WILL BE BUILT.
THE FOUNDERS OF THE COMING AGE ARE GOING TO DEFINE WHAT THIS NEW SOCIETY IS GOING TO BE LIKE AND WILL DECIDE THE WAY IN WHICH HUMAN BEINGS
BEHAVE TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER WELL BEYOND THIS CURRENT AGE.

WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS OF THIS NEW GLOBAL SOCIETY? THEY ARE THE DEVELOPERS OF SCIENTIFIC, TECHNICAL, SOCIAL AND POLITICAL INNOVATION AND ALL THOSE
WHO ARE CURRENTLY WORKING HARD TO CREATE OR SUPPORT THESE INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND SOCIAL MEDIAS'. IT IS HARDER TO CHANGE THAT WHICH IS ALREADY ESTABLISHED.
THE ONLY TIME THAT ALLOWS THE GREATEST CHANCE AT CREATING A HEALTHY AND POSITIVE SOCIETY IS AT THE TIME OF ITS VERY BEGINNINGS.

THAT TIME IS TODAY.

WILL WE CONTINUE TO TOLERATE THE VAST CENTRALIZED CLASS DIFFERENCES BASED ON AN INDIVIDUALS WEALTH,
OR WILL THE FOUNDERS DECIDE THAT WEALTH SHOULD BE DECENTRALIZED AND FREELY OPEN TO ALL?
CAN CLASS BE BASED ON EACH INDIVIDUALS TALENTS AND ATTRIBUTES INSTEAD OF EACH INDIVIDUALS ACCUMULATED RESOURCES?
WHAT IS YOUR CLASS STANDING TODAY IN THE SOCIETIES OF THIS ERA... IS IT FAIRLY PLACED UPON YOU... IS IT BASED ON WHO YOU ARE...
OR HOW MUCH YOU HAVE?

WEALTH IS YOUR RIGHT. WE AT BIT BIT FULLY SUPPORT THE RIGHT TO HAVE WEALTH, BUT WHAT WE AT BIT BIT ARE AGAINST
IS THE FAR TO PREVALENT CONDITION OF PEOPLE IN DESPERATE LACK THAT HAVE NO OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE CONDITION THEY ARE IN.

IN THIS WORLD THE HUMAN CONDITION OF SUFFERING CAUSED BY THE DESPERATE LACK OF EVEN THE VERY BASICS OF HUMAN NEED HAS ALWAYS EXISTED
AND THAT MAY ALWAYS BE SO. WE AT BIT BIT AIM TO CHANGE THIS BY MAKING IT PROFITABLE TO GIVE RESOURCES TO OTHERS IN NEED
THEREFOR CHANGING THE RULES OF SOCIETY .

IMAGINE A WORLD WERE BEING GENEROUS BRINGS US BOTH EMOTIONAL WEALTH AND GREATER FINANCIAL WEALTH.
HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF BY HELPING THAT PERSON OR FAMILY THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ONLY IMPROVING THEIR LIVES
BUT ARE ALSO GIVING THEM A CHANCE FOR GREATER OPPORTUNITY, BUT THAT YOU ALSO INCREASE YOUR OWN FINANCIAL PORTFOLIO?
IMAGINE YOURSELF SENDING YOUR WEALTH TO THOSE CAUSES THAT YOU DETERMINE WORTHY AND FOR YOUR TROUBLES
YOU ACTUALLY INCREASE YOUR OWN WEALTH.

THATS WHAT BIT BIT IS ALL ABOUT,  WE ARE THE FOUNDERS OF THE COMING AGE...

AND AS A BITCOIN USER...

Dafuq is this shit?

I cant get it to work... I follow the guide, but the Bot tab never shows. Yes its enabled...

You just copy and pasted into a new greasemonkey script right?

Did you try to run or execute it first? Thats what I had to do.

457  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiBet's Roulette Launch Race! + Free BTC Giveaway! on: August 03, 2013, 12:29:17 AM
I've been on a lucky streak lately, so I hope this carries over for this contest. (love the new roulette btw)

Ok, comped, go ahead! You only need just short of 4 times your initial comp to grab the lead Smiley

Thanks- appreciate it. Started a game of roulette and initially it was saying "insufficient funds" but subtracting from my funds, however a refresh solved that problem. I assume it was similar to the issue above. Thought I'd pass that info along Smiley

This is really great work on his part. I actually started using it a few days back and already made about 0.5 btc profit. Cheesy

Remember- it all comes down to your method.

Personally, I use a 45% chance, start bet 0.00001 with a bet increase of 2x every 1 loss. Works wonders.
