441  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin lite on: August 23, 2017, 09:07:55 PM
This is just an alt-coin using bitcoin for false advertisement. The bitcoin lite have nothing in common with original BTC - nor shared blockchain, nor Devs, nor features.

It's POS alt-coin with completely random price as it isn't listed in any exchange. I suggest you to find a better project for your time/money.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WinXrp.com on: August 23, 2017, 08:58:08 PM
You still have bustabit logo on top head.

Also what is maximum amount we can win
Quote
Max profit: 84.6315 XRP
Does this mean 84,6315 xrp or just 84.6315 XRP  Roll Eyes

LOL. They just cloned it and they didn't even clean it up. This is like how gradeschoolers copy homework, they even copy the name on their classmate's paper.

I am guessing that value is 84.6315. If it was 84,6315 then they should have written 845.315. Damn, I really hate people who use periods to separate the thousands. :/

I'm sure they are using licences version of the script.
Ad may not know, but RHavar is selling licences for ~2BTC and there are many many bustabit like sites already.

And he's quoting and posting in their Fair Seed topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2113656.0

So WinXRP.com must be a legit copy of bustabit for Ripple.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Geocoin going to the moon? on: August 23, 2017, 08:49:26 PM
I don't see any real positiveness here for GEO. It's just ANN about future app.

For me GEO is going under 10K satoshi for sure in next month max.

444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth $400 on: August 22, 2017, 10:29:51 PM
I think ETH could reach $400 much more sooner. In next 1-2 months... if everything went OK with BTC and Segwit.

Then investor will feel much more secure and there will be a lot more investments into ICOs and ETH.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs from China on: August 22, 2017, 10:28:13 PM
I read yesterday, openanx is a Chinese decentralized exchange project. I checked the price on liqui, but found it expensive when it was $0.8 then I went up to $3 or so. Now the price went down again. I don't know, it could be a promising one of future, like waves.

I've never heard of the OP projects.

But openanx have the biggest potential for China project. More than 50% of cryptos are mined in China at the moment. So if they managed to make local based UI and support, they will be clear stars.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had 1000$ to invest in Altcoins long term, which one would you choose? on: August 22, 2017, 07:19:54 PM
My choice will be ETH. In long-run it will have the most value with ICOs power.

BCH is too volatile for my taste. With 300% difficult increasing in hours, price will do a ping-pong again.

NEO is already pumped for buying right now.

LTC is 'old' coin by my understandings.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price Christmas 2017 on: August 22, 2017, 07:16:14 PM
Next 10 days are crucial.

BTC could worth 5-10K or it could worth <1K...

The situation right now is not good. 1-2 blocks per hours and 100K unconfirmed transactions. With this hash rate, Segwit will be moved 1-2 days +
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance International Verification Question on: August 22, 2017, 06:58:04 PM
Binance.com wants you to submit an 'English version passport' in order to become a lv. 2 verified user. They ask for a 'Passport Cover' & 'Passport Personal Page'/

I only have a national ID, would they accept that instead (front & back)? I don't have a passport and it would cost about $150 to get one.

Cheers!

Try submitting your Passport before spend $150 on licences translation.
It should have English values under your national ones. At least all the passports I know have and they are accepted.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralised web - Shift on: August 16, 2017, 09:19:53 AM
It will be a trillion dollar market only if being adopted.

Web users are changing their habits very very slowly. Just look how many years was needed to adopt HTML5 + CSS3. And here we are speaking even for
another browsing network.

Another example - IDN domains /non latin/ - they are available for more than 15 YEARS. And still their adoption is.... insignificant for this type of technology.

Imagine now adoption of this decentralized web without the support of big names...
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GNT vs XEL on: August 16, 2017, 09:16:30 AM
Unfortunately for me, I'm a GNT holder.
But still I believe both coins will gain value.
Just both are very young coins and fluctuation in their value is inevitably.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone familiar with TETHER?? on: August 16, 2017, 08:58:22 AM
I see in USDT the most easiest way to move USD from one exchange to another without having Level 2 verification.

For example - you love to trade USD/BTC pair in Polo but you have Level 2 verification only in Bittrex. When you want to transfer USd from Polo to Bittrex - buy USDT on Polo and sell them in Bittrex.

452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell? on: August 16, 2017, 08:53:55 AM
I would keep them both - LTC and ETH.

Currently both are in 10days low and BTC is all time high.
I'm not so strong believer in LTC, but ETH will rise for sure. At least to 330-360 in next month.
Just wait until altcoins regain value to BTC.
453  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Full List of Bitcoin Debit Cards on: August 16, 2017, 08:24:11 AM
I believe neteller offers plastic Bitcoin debit cards. Or you load your neteller card with Bitcoin in addition to other methods, not exactly sure.
Also this is a fantastic list! Please include something like shipping, for example whether it ships globally or is USA only.

Neteller /and Skrill/ both offer plastic VISAs and both have Bitcoin upload.
BUT both DOES NOT allow you to use bitcoin uploads at ATM withdraws. AML policy.
So you could upload bitcoin there but only can use it on some sites and P2P transfer. But you can;'t withdraw it.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: August 15, 2017, 11:16:08 PM
Nope. For few reasons.

1. Nobody can tell you what will happens with BTC and other cryptos in 20-30 years. Just look 20-30 years back and the technology now.
2. When quantum computers become publicly available, 100 qbit quantum will be able to crack any private key with a blink. The protocol and security measures will need to be changed in advance.
455  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good cloud mining contracts which has good potential? on: August 15, 2017, 11:13:48 PM
Check my signature - easyMine. They have very promising ICO.

If you decide to choose some other site - be careful with the fine-print on calculating your profit. Look for hidden taxes like support, maintenance, etc.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Baccarat Game in Ethereum - ETTA Games is launched! on: August 15, 2017, 11:10:44 PM
I like your site - it's with very modern and beautiful design.

Do you plan to run off-chain betting? Because I don;t want to pay gas on every transaction and it madness to pay 20-40c for gas on 2-3$ bet.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you guys gamble BTC? on: August 15, 2017, 11:08:44 PM
Lately mainly at stake.com. Because they are with very reputable owners (primedice) and they've managed to collect almost all interesting games in one place. Not only dice, but a game like bustabit, baccarat and many more. They will become number one in BTC gambling very soon.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp starts trading ETH on August 17 on: August 14, 2017, 11:50:45 PM
I've looked up for ETH threads about this but I couldn't find any, hence this topic.

Bitstamp has announced that they will start trading ETH in 3 days:

Quote
Ethereum update

Speaking of trading pairs, we are also happy to confirm that our preparations for launching Ethereum are in their final stages. As of Thursday, 17 August, Ethereum will be available for trading with USD, EUR and BTC. But that’s not all – to get things off to the best possible start, Ethereum trading fees will be heavily discounted until 1 January 2018 as follows:

(... rates ... see their announcement for details)

Generally, new pairs arriving on major exchange see a price increase due to the increased volume and market potential.

Do you think the market has already anticipated the new trading platform?

I don't think this will make any difference. ETH is an old coin with a lot of usage.
I will be surprised if Bitstamp bite more than 7-9% or the total daily trade on BTC/ETH and still this will not make any difference in the price.
If ETH goes up, this will be to chase some of the BTH ATH price, not because of Bitstamp.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo vs Waves! on: August 09, 2017, 12:19:39 PM
I think both have bright future.
WAVES is currently ahead, but Neo have the Asian support. In past years there are lot of big project coming from Asia region.
IMO for now WAVES, in 1-2 years Neo will be ahead.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SiaCoin's future? on: August 09, 2017, 11:52:53 AM

Yep, the coin have a future. Storage demand is higher than ever.
And could even raise again to $0.5B CAP. At least developers are known and are working together.
