That's alright.
Yesterday I'd checked what he'd previously said in regards to this which is why I remembered.

That's the thing, I'm not sure as the $1.4m was for the last quarter, whereby it was explicitly stated we'd have the sales figures for September on 15Oct.

I'm probably reading too much into it though and am just overly excited about the future of ActM.

Sorry that's not correct.
From my understanding the 3 month P&L was promised for the end of October.
Yesterday was simply Septembers sales figures.

almost nov. good news should start rolling out soon right?

Depends on your perspective.

Some might suggest that Ken failing to deliver on his promise of releasing a 3 month P&L and balance sheet yesterday means that he can't be trusted to keep his word in the future.

I, on the other hand, would settle for an apology and an explanation as to why he hasn't kept his word.

Yes you are right.  I was mistaken to mention P&L and balance sheet.  Apologies, I shouldn't post at 7am from work.  Embarrassed

So we are to assume that the $1.4M Ken mentioned the other day was in fact the Sep 15th announcement delivered early.

We already have the sale figures for the last couple of months somewhere in this thread some very simple subtraction should get you the answer to sept sales figures, if you can be bothered to search the thread, but from memory sept sales must be circa 1mill maybe a little over

443  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 16, 2013, 07:40:56 AM

The people that are selling at bargain basement prices probably dont want to deal with the unknown. im sure if bitfunder would have given us more time and not locked out us buyers, it would be a lot different.. but it is what it is.. Lets hope we come out stronger than before....

It must be possible to circumvent this problem by going through some proxy server outside of the US.  Someone from the US should figure it out and publish it here. This would at least work for the next two weeks.
Pretty sure a VPN would work for the next couple of weeks - costs about $100. I have used StrongVPN in the past for different reasons ( I am not U.S. based) and they were very good. Although if you have already logged in from the U.S. previously it's possible your account is already tagged U.S. but I highly doubt it.

Dividend predictions?Huh

I'm shooting for over 300 satoshis after last fortnights disappointing dividend a strong payout today could mean a little jump in the share price.
445  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 14, 2013, 06:58:52 PM
copy and pasted from the labrat profile on bitfunder

• No fees will be placed upon the dividends that are to be paid out to bondholders for electricity or hosting. 100% payout of the hashrate the bonds represent will be paid in full to the bondholders.

This clearly states that we are not to be charged additional fees on our dividends. Labrat you need to make this right.
It is not ok to blatantly breach the terms that you set out.

If as shareholders we simply let this slide then what is to prevent this becoming a regular thing whenever labrat feels like it he can just charge additional fees.

@labrat - you have through out this operation shown yourself to be a stand up guy, I don't wanna be the guy causing waves but I am not ok with the clearly laid out terms in the Labrat profile being blatantly disregarded because you had to do some additional work. Which incidentally was your choice - dividends could have been paid to everyone through bitfunder this week and indeed could also be done this way for the following two weeks. There is no need for manual payments right now.

I vote that dividends continue to be paid via bitfunder until the end of the month at which point your automated system should be operational and people will have had plenty of time to update their address'. There is no need to delay next weeks dividend payout.

Ken posted this on 19th septemeber

What are the current plans for chip development?
ActiveMining is developing a 28nm Bitcoin mining chip using eASIC.

    Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks;
    Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process;
Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks.

This should mean we have chip samples at end of Nov and won't be hashing fully till Jan. Can you confirm this is accurate Ken or have things changed?

Yeah that fee is beyond a joke especially when it could have just been sent through bitfunder as normal this week and then use your auto pay out method next week.
448  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 12, 2013, 03:24:17 PM
are dividends being paid on bitfunder this week?

why is the asset being removed from bitfunder, is it because labrat doesn't meet the criteria for the new rules?
449  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 09, 2013, 09:58:00 AM
Maybe Labrat should start buying back the cheap bonds with LRM funds to be used in a strictly LRM reinvestment account. Like put a buy order in at 0.05 for 20,000 bonds. That might work out great for the rest of the bond holders. That would mean >50% of all hardware mining goes to re-investment and operational costs. Sure, he'd not be able to buy quite as much hardware this month, but he'd still be able to buy a lot and the new fixed potential growth rate would more than double (if he could buy that many back).

Would be interesting to run the math and see if buying up bonds is better than withholding dividends for two weeks.

Q1: Could you provide more information about the team designing the boards?

A1: Over 15 years developing electronics

   or

Q1: Could you provide more information about the team designing the boards?

A2:  Hi guys, in response to this question, I'd like to say that I'm unable to tell you the company name right now for reason X, however once we have reached stage Y, I will make this information public.
What I can say is that I have worked on a couple of projects with this team and am always very impressed by their professionalism and ability to produce high quality products on time.  I could have gone with other companies for a better deal, but feel the peace of mind I get working with these guys is worth the extra bitcoin as we only need to look at recent events with one of our competitiors and the rough time they are having with catastrophic board failures.  Our engineering team have a proven track record and have worked with large players in this space for the last 15 years.

DISCLAIMER:  Answer 2 was not written by Ken, but myself.  This may give Ken an idea about how a few choice words can keep the shareholders happy, without giving away sensitive information.  It's nice to see Ken online more often these days, and it's well within his ability to make posts like this.  Little tidbits like this would bolster confidence and see a boost in shareprice, and would also give us something tangible to discuss in this thread rather than the constant bickering and troll policing.

Couldn't agree more - a few lines giving a general outline of what is going on and what sort of time frame we are looking at is all people want.

452  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 02, 2013, 01:55:21 PM
that update sounds like they are no where near a working Gen 2 product at the moment - long term it sounds promising I guess
Sounds like Gen 3. Gen 2 has been fully designed and awaiting order quantity (unless I'm wrong)

after re reading I think your right, sounds like Gen 3 some time in 2014

Ken,

Would you say that up to this point everything is going according to plan and is on schedule?
455  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: October 01, 2013, 12:52:41 PM
expecting a strong dividend today - can we see the final September numbers it should have been a record breaking month and this should be a record breaking dividend also - somewhere close to 400 satoshi I think
456  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: October 01, 2013, 12:48:52 PM
KNC still have units for shipping in November and at 550+Gh per $5k, I think we should be seriously considering purchasing some.

Lab_Rat what are your thoughts on KNC they seem to really know what they are doing in my opinion.
457  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: October 01, 2013, 07:43:22 AM
You made the clause not us.

All we did was calculate the risk/reward and decide if this is a good investment.

For some people that 6% difference would have been the difference between them buying and not buying.

Personally I bought because I was guaranteed a profit before the private shares got any $$$, not because I thought I was gonna make my money back.

This is how business deals work-

1. contract is outlined and clauses are detailed

2. investors make an analysis of given information

3. they decide to invest or not invest

Did you notice there is no number 4.Huh?? that's because you don't renege on things you promise or you lose credibility. If the spirit of the offer was to ensure money back for investors you should have said that but you didn't you said you will get 0.0016 and everyone got excited cos they were guaranteed a profit and started buying shares.

Can you please tell us the total hashing power after the extra dividend witholding - most people assumed it would be taking us to somewhere around the 40Th mark but your previous posts seem to indicate only around 30Th.
459  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: September 27, 2013, 12:06:01 PM
monthly sales as of 26/09 are $455,000 - should be a record breaking dividend in a few days time 380 satoshis is my guess
460  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: September 27, 2013, 09:58:45 AM
Yeah we need some clarification quickly - it reads as though even after this additional purchase we are only gonna have 30Th which should not be the case. We were supposed to have 30Th anyway and this dividend withhold was supposed to add a significant amount more I was expecting 40Th approx after the 2 week dividend hold. If we are only at 32Th after the extra dividends are invested then something doesn't smell right.

Can you please confirm the situation?
