I really like your software. Would it be hard to implement Minikey for private key and other cryptocurrency (Litecoin, Namecoin, Novacoin, Feathercoin) ?

I would be willing to give a donation for it.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coindesk - China might have just killed BTC there. on: December 16, 2013, 08:48:23 PM
I see no problem with that, who cares if Chinese can't buy Bitcoins, the price will go down, we'll buy more coins and they'll be late to the party. What do you expect from a dictatorial government anyway?
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 19 years on: December 16, 2013, 05:12:14 AM
Bitcoin should be replace by something more useful

I would go with Lealana physical bitcoin. They are beatiful and promote bitcoin in the meantime ! Smiley

Yes, it's very true.  Only problem is that they're pretty expensive.  how small of a domination can one buy these physical coins at?  But yes, they are usually quite beautiful.

0.2 for a 0.1 silver coin is not that bad, of course. It depend of your budget.

http://nypost.com/2013/12/15/bitcoins-digital-deception/

I don't understand, a huge part of the population apparently knows what BTC is now, but people still say it is anonymous?

What a dumbass ! Can't he freaking inform himself before writing this crap. His article is full of disinformation and cliché. He has no idea what he is talking about.

He's a mainstream journalist, what do you expect? Even most tech journalists get it wrong half  the time.

And let's face it - bitcoin was sold on its "anonymity" in the early days. Just ... it isn't

You're right ! Wink
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When $1 was exchanged for 1,300 bitcoins, Why was this done at the time? on: December 16, 2013, 01:45:41 AM

452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Zerocoin be implanted in Bitcoin in the future ? on: December 16, 2013, 12:44:28 AM
I hear a lot about zerocoin but I was wondering if they plan to implant it in Bitcoin in the future ? If so, in what timeframe could we see it implanted ?

It will launch as an alt, and then after that test it may be added. This avoids a lot of risk.  If you check the dev area this has been discussed there.

Great ! Thanks for the info ! Smiley
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 19 years on: December 16, 2013, 12:43:37 AM
another decentralised currency will rule the world. Bitcoin is the first real decentralised currency but its not perfect and will be replaced at some point (but not in the near future)

Why does everyone think that BTC wont change with time? Every "doomsday" prophecy doe the same thing...they all think that BTC wll stay the way it is right now and will never ever change (chain will get too long, speed of transaction bla bla bla bla...it's like BTC will be frozen in time). Same here..it is not perfect and it will die....do you think that BTC will never be upgraded, fixed, changed?

Exactly !!!

I just hope Bitcoin will not have the same fate as Netscape.  Roll Eyes
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Zerocoin be implanted in Bitcoin in the future ? on: December 15, 2013, 10:10:25 PM
it wont. Zerocoin will be released as an independent coin in 2014.

That's sad ! And god their logo is ugly ! Tongue

458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average investment in the BIT Trust is $700k on: December 15, 2013, 09:34:38 PM
The BIT Trust said they've raised $65 million in bitcoin investments in two months (http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/11/us-etf-bitcoin-secondmarket-idUSBRE9BA15520131211), and that it comes from just 90 investors. That's an average investment of more than $700k. That's definitely not chump change. The crazy part is, that's barely one half of one percent of the total market cap for bitcoin.

If the Winklevoss ETF ever gets approved, we're going to see a lot more than $32 million a month flow into bitcoin. Unfortunately, that article says it could take the SEC "years" to approve the ETF.

That's crazy, can't wait to see what will happen in 2014 !
