Wenn dein Server nicht in einem privaten Netzwerk steht, und VPS klingt für mich nach nem Mietserver, ist er öffentlich ob du das möchtest oder nicht. Vielleicht hab ich das aber auch falsch verstanden und Du hostet selber oder über Freunde. Nein er ist öffentlich..dachte nur wenn ich niemandem mitteile, ist er "privat". Great reply Shorena, thank you. I will PM you later with the transaction ID, or is it the raw data you would need after i do a getrawtransaction ? Although i am starting to think that it would never be confirmed anyway as the fee is really low, so i might just stop it.
TX ID should be fine, it currently sees ~65k unconfirmed TXs yours should be among them. I could also rebroadcast the replacement whichever you prefer (Id probably need the raw TX in this case though). Thanks for the offer i will get back to ya, i'm currently gonna just let it run and see if it ever confirms. What is the command to rebroadcast a transaction? Maybe a bit late now.... Rightclick on the TX in the overview and select Copy raw transaction. In the console enter sendrawtransaction and paste the raw behind it. |

No. so, what i have to do for that wallet? Contact bc.i support and hope for the best. Chances are high they cant help you either. The recover phrase is exactly for this case, since you dont have it, its likely that you no longer own any coins. A (extended, master, etc.) public key is meant to be shared publicly. It cant be used to spend coins. The private key(s) is/are important. They are covered by your password(s) and AFAIK in a way such that even blockchain.info cant access them. |

Deine Motivation bei dem Projekt würde mich interessieren. Willst du einfach nur "rumbasteln", was lernen und deinen Spass dabei haben oder versuchst du einen eigentlich toten Coin wiederzubeleben, warum auch immer.
Also erstmal finde ich das ganze Thema sehr interessant. Ich will gern was lernen, da mein zweiter Studiengang jetzt Informatik ist. Natürlich will ich auf Dauer mehr. Mich strört besonders das ich meine Coins momentan nicht selber staken lassen kann, da ich dafür keinen PC den ganzen Tag anhaben möchte. Besonders vor dem Hintergrund das ich das Gefühl habe POSWALLET zwackt Coins ab, bzw. behält einen Teil meiner gestakt Coins ein (Dort habe ich ein paar Coins, die jedoch keinen aktiven DEV mehr haben). Bringe ich diese Coins jetzt auf meinen eigenen Wallet muss ich sicher gehen das das Netzwerk noch aktiv ist, bzw. bleibt, da sie sonst irgendwann auf meinem Wallet sterben, da ich diese dann nicht mehr in die Exchanges bekomme. Wenn du groß Mengen Coins auf nem VPS zum staken hast, würde ich mir Gedanken über die Sicherheit machen und ggf. den Explorer sein lassen. Je weniger läuft, desto weniger Angriffsfläche und gerade PHP fällt in dieser Hinsicht immer wieder auf. |

Wenn ich nochmal drüber nachdenken braucht man für einen Blockexplorer einen Fullnode, der Blockexplorer muss ja die gesamte Blockchain kennen um sie z.B. nach Transaktionen zu durchsuchen.
Um die Blockchain aufrecht zu erhalten und auch Transaktionen durchzuführen brauchst du aber auch jemanden, der auf der Blockchain mining betreibt und somit neue Blöcke erzeugt.
In der Regel brauchst du sogar noch mehr als nur einen Full Node. Die meisten Full Nodes (ausgehend von Bitcoin Core & Unlimited für Bitcoin) speichern die Daten nicht so das es für einen Blockchain Explorer sinnvoll ist. Entsprechend kommt meist eine Datenbank dazu in der die Daten in anderer Form nochmal gespeichert sind. Am einfachsten wird es wohl sein wenn du entweder einen Fork von ABE[1] findest oder selbst einen erstellst. [1] https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abeJa danke das hilft mir schonmal weiter. Die Source vom Coin habe ich auch. Was brauche ich noch? xD Ich meine mit der Source kann ich doch eine Fullnode erstellen oder? Yop Weil wenn das nicht der Fall ist, kann es doch Probleme geben wenn jemand mal einen Coin ertellt und diesen dann nicht mehr unterstützt. Dann ist er doch verloren.
Es kann auch so sein das du keine Historie (z.B. von anderen Nodes) mehr findest und daher von vorne anfangen musst. |

You're on linux so bring up 'top' while it's happening, press H to enable thread mode, and see what thread(s) is/are consuming CPU at the time. The bitcoin daemon has lots of threads that are named so you may be able to track which particular thread is consuming CPU and hence figure out what it's doing.
Right, okay. I can give that a shot. So nobody else has experienced similar CPU spikes? Yeah, not that long though. Turned out my node was connected to a service that was pushing several thousand transactions to it every X minutes. If you have a network spike (from a few kbit/s to several mbit/s) at the same times that might be it. That's quite interesting, how long did your spikes last and how did you pick that up? Just a few seconds. I found the IP in question using tcptrack. The node was just regular XT node, nothing special about it. With nmap I found they had ports 80 and 443 (among others) open so I just entered the IP in a browser and it redirected me to their main HP.
If you want to check the debug.log for a possible origin node as HI-TEC99 suggested make sure you have logips=1 set |

So, yesterday I created a new wallet and sent 1BTC on it. The problem is that I did something wrong when typping the password and I can not send funds from it now. Is there any possibility for me to bypass the password ?
Restore from seed, set a new password. To get the seed, Electrum is asking me the password, how can I do ? Also, what I can tell you is that this is very close to my normal password, this is just that I probably typed something wrong. I am sorry to say but this kind of certification has no value, at least to me. What was the process to get it ? Following the course and complete a quizz ? In their about page i see Andreas M. Antonopoulos, Vitalik Buterin, and a few others listed as their Board of Directors. I am a little surprised to see them and I never heard about this consortium
I think it is illegal to offer and produce such certifications which are not managed by any central authority. Governments should take steps to stop such things from happening and people losing money in useless things.   |
