You have still time to invest but the ico going really fast, more than 4 millions $ in a day it is pretty nice at the moment. A lot of people enjoy datum in invest in the project, I even think that datum will reach the hard cap.
I am not sure how much they have raised. When I posted the screenshot earlier today the counter was over 13000 ETH, now it is back below that amount. That's strange.. counter that works backwards ? Well anyway the counter is now on : 12,905.367 ETH Not bad for a first day I'd say. I'm sure it will go up a lot quicker if US and Chinese citizens are allowed to participate. We'd like to have that too, but we also want to be compliant with the law so we're not shut down and killed off, and everybody ends up losing. Thank you for understanding! I can't understand, we have KYC for this ICO, why do we not open this ICO for U.S citizens? I know the Chinese government banned the ICO field in their country, but U.S just limits this field instead of banned like China. Probably because it would cost millions in legal fees to get it through the SEC. Yeah that's the main reason you see so many ICO's not trying to get the US involved. Of course they'd love to have the massive user base, it's just not always feasible. I've noticed they usually have "No US users allowed" or something similar in very small letters and hard to find. I think they're still hoping a lot of US users will come in and they won't be liable because they posted for them not to. |

The platform wallet will allow bettors to bet on our web-based platform (and mobile from your browser) as soon as we launch our beta. Our timeline for the mobile app, which will include the wallet, is conservatively set for 2019 - though we internally hope to best this timeline depending on hiring etc.

Okay I want to understand this fully. The transaction costs of placing a bet is different than the .5% fee I've heard about? Our fee is actually 2%, this is baked into the odds we offer so you'll be paying $100 to win $98... if there's a matching $100 bet on the other side that loses then they just surrender that $100..... so off of a total of $200 laid down, FansUnite earns $2 which is a 1% margin / vig. The transaction costs we refer to above are actually Ethereum gas costs, which you would be subject to paying if you elected NOT to use our platform wallet and just sent FAN to our bet smart contracts via metamask or myetherwallet. So those are the only fees? No loading fees, etc.? No other fees from our end. Our aim is to give bettors the best chance at profitability, and in pursuit of that, we are cutting costs everywhere we can. There will definitely be no hidden costs either. That's like 33% cheaper fees than I've ever seen. Yeah I can't find anything cheaper after googling for it. I'm not sure if it's even possible to have cheaper fees and still have enough to pay for the project. Which is why having an ICO can be useful. They have a financial cushion, and as the token value goes up that's more money that's not needed from fees. |

Nice project but on this period no one would like to invest on a project which will be on air at 2019. Its pretry long time. At least a beta version should be ready on ico period and platform should be ready in 6 months if you guys really want some investment

We will have an Alpha version available for the real money sportsbook in April of 2018, and a Beta in June of 2018. This response alone should show any doubters that you're the real deal. Indeed we will have ranking system depending on how orders are fulfilled by traffic arbitrageurs If they fail to fulfill contracts correctly or even try to give false info this will result in downgrading it's rating and strong KYC verification will make changing identity impossible Presale is only 2 weeks out, any projections?
We assume that pre-sale will be fully closed in this period as a lot of investors haven’t participated in the private sale stage Why do you think they haven't participated? Any ideas? |

Wow! You use The Civic in your work, it`s very good. I don`t read WP for now, but I have some question. Why on Pre Sale minimum buying transaction: 50 ETH ? I understand, that minimum to attract the investors with big money, but. It really better than many lessers investors?

I'm sure there's a good reason they aren't disclosing their fees. Definitely... I would bet it would be closer to 6x higher, if not more. We will offer the same events, most likely, just at drastically better odds for the individual bettor. 6x sounds like a lot, but realistically it's only like 3%. |

One question I have, is there any way that files that aren't often seeded will have a higher reward for seeding? Nothing more frustrating than trying to download something obscure on utorrent and finding there are no seeds.
The rewards will be based on file size. We may implement something like this down the line, however. When it comes to storage, will your architecture function similarly to that of Storj? Not exactly. Storj splits up files and stores them on a bunch of different hosts, allowing hosts to earn coins for renting out their storage space. With Upfiring, the files will be stored on the seeders devices, so your files aren't being distributed to the a bunch of different peers in the network - only downloaders. But if the files are stored on the seeders devices, what happens if the seeders devices crash? Are the files still accessible? Storj is strong because it has a high tolerance of node failures as files a stored in a decentralized way with some overlap. With your system, are files stored only on a single seeder's device? Have you used P2P before? It's on as many devices as people who have downloaded it. So an unhealthy torrent doesn't have many seeders, and it is possible to lose stuff. But if it's in high enough demand, it will quickly gain seeders. Especially on this system, which literally pays you money to seed high demand torrents. |
