Hi there! i found old coins.. not sure if a still have wallet.dat... unfortunately i did not export private keys ^^ but if i find it, a note says i have 70000 PIMP-coin from mining phase in 2014 so will be possible to use this wallet.dat in OKCash? and will i get 1 year of staking.. or only staking for last week or so? "Pos Max Stake Time: Unlimited" sounds good.. so 69%++ ? Hehe sweet. PIMP just changed name to OK, so get new wallet, copy over wallet.dat and sync. Your coins are safe n sound. Let us know how the stake goes, I think it will give you whole year stake but at 20% rather than 69% it was. Curious to know. |

Just for Reference when we hit $ 1,067,604,802 Marketcap, ZEIT's price was US$ .03 per ZEIT   who did that huge move?  ZEIT would be in 2nd Place directly under BTC it will be great! because someone decided for fun to throw in 55LTC and clear completely the sell part of the order book on Cryptopia. It looks fun on coinmarketcap to be on the second place for a moment, but the reality is, we have less than $1 volume per 24h on the remaining exchanges. We also had just two days in the whole 2016 when the total 24h volume on all exchanges combined exceeded 1 BTC. I am not selling at this price, and with BTC pumped, not buying BTC either. Also expecting LTC pump, so collected up as much Zeit as I could off Cryptsy before it went down. Then there is that matter of spreads and no Zeit for sale cheap Then Craptsy has been dead for 3 months too. |

Cryptsy won't declare bankruptcy. If they managed to stay open for 18 months pretending like nothing happened, they can continue. We are not talking Gox 450k BTC, Bitstamp lost 18k BTC and nothing happened, but they had that money already, BTER was taken for 7k BTC, is back to work like nothing happened. The "community" will ask them to remain open and repay over time, or most likely the 13k btc will make it's way back, 1000 btc ransom paid and loss will be 1000btc to spread over users. Gentlemen place your bets. I did a week ago days before the shutdown; $100 in various coins (not Zeit mind you) paid for HYP to sell at double to buy DASH under 600k, if Crypty comes back and Dash keeps pumping, $700 win .. to spend on Zeit |

The new foundation website is not a final product, DJ is making a very solid effort and it will be down to the rest of us to assist in design and content.
I am working with GameCredits dev team on their marketing campaign and PR efforts, GMC has a large team with real gaming companies and marketing advisors. Has reach from US to EU to Japan.
Which will only help EMC2, as I specialise in startup companies and business growth in my daily job being an accountant.
The above I mention because the direction Einsteinium should be heading is education.
Pro:
- It has no "coin" in the name, therefore is not thrown on the pile with cryptoscams right away.
-- EMC2 coin is one of the parts, not a be all and end all.
- The bagholders are from the science community, Dr. Havekes, whom received the funding campaign proceeds a year ago is a PhD professor and is not the only one.
- A lot of love remains for EMC2 across the internets, I am a regular on Poloniex trollbox and can't even begin to count the number of people who said they believed in EMC2 when it launched and are hoping it can be brought back to it's rightful place.
- Low price for long term investor to accumulate and wait.
- Easy to mine due to low price. Wormholes make mining a lot more valuable.
Con:
- Original dev ran off with the original foundation domain and github account.
- Some uncertainty with block explorer numbers.
- Lack of a full time technical dev.
- Low price makes funding campaigns impossible.
Solutions in the works:
- Ray from ZeitCoin is a temporary wallet dev, therefore any issues that may arise will be dealt with competently. **EMC2 never had any blockchain or technical issues .. ever. Tech is as good as it comes.**
- DJ is building the new foundation website.
- Varvarin has 2 teenage devs on payroll from November. One is tech focused, other is a designer.
- Armis is around too, working on PICISI, which will also feed back 'n' forth with EMC2 projects.
Rest is just talking about EMC2 and trying to bring back some of the community spirit that was present at launch and for some months after and especially around the Havekes campaign.
A year has passed since the Havekes campaign and looking back, I can not say it has been a bad year. We might not have the funds to stop the price slide, various efforts were made to pay for development, most of which turned out to be ill advised. It is extraordinarily hard to find trustworthy people in cryptoland, for love nor money. Short sightedness is astounding and lack of cover when dealing with random names online makes it all to easy to avoid responsibility.
Personally, I have been building relationships, even face to face friendships with competent developers and big players in crypto and also, probably more importantly ... introducing real world companies into cryptoland who could benefit massively from blockchain technology, while at the same time providing some real world credibility to crypto.
Think of this: all the rich (nice or tax avoiding) people have philanthropic organisations, EMC2 should be a great fit for the science and cryptocurrency education provider.
-- EMC2 could be a banner, a place for members of the cryptocummunity to mix with members of the science and education community. Each providing something for the other.
A non-profit, but not a charity. Quid pro quo.

I will no longer be taking part in Bitcoin development and have sold all my coins.
Why has Bitcoin failed? It has failed because the community has failed. What was meant to be a new, decentralised form of money that lacked “systemically important institutions” and “too big to fail” has become something even worse: a system completely controlled by just a handful of people. Worse still, the network is on the brink of technical collapse. The mechanisms that should have prevented this outcome have broken down, and as a result there’s no longer much reason to think Bitcoin can actually be better than the existing financial system. Depressing, yes, but burying heads in sand won't solve anything  Not Depressing at all, IMO . If BTC fails or has a massive stumble with a massive price reduction,. ZEIT will Soar to new Heights using BTC flaws to Power Our Flight, which is what will happen in the long run anyway. On the Technical Side we have always been stronger and faster than BTC. Old saying, every Crisis is an Opportunity, We'll make the BTC crisis a ZEIT Opportunity. Cause I can promise you this if BTC price falls down to a $1 , there will not be 1 ZEIT for sale for less than that. I haven't had this much fun in crypto since August last year and could not have timed it better. 10 days to pay day, everything cheap, BTC crashing to $315 most likely within a week .. happy days. Love it. That pretty much sums it all up. Cryptsy was still an ok exchange in the early 2014, but since then it was a continuous problem. A pity that ZEIT was included there and thus suffered collaterally at least twice because of Cryptsy. Yet, now they are history, and we are left without a solid volume exchange. Pretty much. Those that knew knew. I'm going to stick my neck out and say ... Cryptsy is not dead. Today was Good News Day, Today BTC started crashing .. all just in time for Cryptsy to admit they cocked it all up, and make a triumphant return proclaiming nothing was lost to "haxors" ... and all will be well in crypto fairyland. Also, Dash big announcement is 8 days away, takes about a week to clean up 2 months mess and back in business, in time to lead DASH charge. And probably way more importantly, LTC whales ahoy. |

That is an excellent idea. I believe that once Gamecredits gets listed as a partner for Microsoft's Azure Blockchain as a Service Platform, it will become more interesting than what it is right now and attract the attention of other users as well. Since there is Microsoft Game Studios, maybe there could be new games developed in it with integrated GMC? Or perhaps we will be able to use GMC in the Xbox as well? All of this just makes me wonder what will really happen. Just my opinion. True Words and xbox gamer will love gmc. I think neleonele can do it. That is an interesting idea. Looks like MS is not going to miss the crypto revolution like they missed the internet and mobile, so definitely worth a look in. |

I wouldn't freak just yet, did ask an insider some weeks back what is going on and was told it's really just being lame donkey slow (and bit of a scam) but not closing.
