441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Load Balancing - Mining for multiple accounts? on: June 11, 2014, 01:02:43 AM
Brief synopsis = A friend and I would like to go in on a venture to buy some hardware to start a small mining farm. He will be providing the capitol for the project and I will be managing the hardware / software. This isn't going to be a large setup. I will be given a percentage of the mining proceeds for my services, and he will get the remainder.

Since we will be mining the same coin(s), it would make sense to split the proceeds at the mining level via software. My question is; do programs like sgminer, cgminer, sphminer et cetera support this kind of functionality? I've seen miner's from Claymore and NaN that incorporate a dev fee similar to what im looking to accomplish. I realize that these examples are hard coded into the miners, and im not looking for the same extravagant amounts of sophistication, id just like to keep it simple.

Thanks for your help!
442  Economy / Lending / Re: Escrow Services by Monbux - Hold onto your collateral! on: June 10, 2014, 11:54:55 PM
monbux provided escrow services for my first (successful) loan on the forum. The whole process couldn't have been easier and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use his services again in the future. If you need someone who is honest, trustworthy and punctual with their services, monbux has you covered.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC/BLK) | PoS | Multipool | Coinkite | Mentioned on WSJ! on: June 10, 2014, 02:22:32 AM
Today I was prepared to begin refunding donations until it was pointed out by one of the people who donated that the price of the coins are longer the same from several weeks ago. When the donations were made BTC was significantly less and if I was to refund each person the exact number of BTC they donated, the cost for me will be significantly more. I will have to track down what the price of the coins on XYZ date and refund the dollar amount instead of the quantity. I have no desire or time to do this, and quite frankly I do not give a fuck anymore what people have to say about me. I do not need or want $4500 from this community. I will go forward with donating to several charities of my choice. I am going to let that money be used for something worthwhile, and If you do not like my decision; too fucking bad. If the idea of me donating the money to several charities is too hard for you to stomach, then think of the $4500 as services rendered for all the work I did for over a month.

For several weeks I have endured people posting lies about me and calling me a scammer, and people have went as far as to say I collected $13,000 which is a blatant lie. I had every intention to do the Wall Street event and spent countless hours organizing the event with my wife. When I revealed BlackCoin was being manipulated, people went on a campaign to personally attack me when all I was doing was trying to protect the investment of the community. Then the same people who attacked me also expected me to go forward with the event like I am an idiot. Why the fuck would I spend another minute of my time on an event for people who are morally repulsive and ungrateful? I do not blame my source for not publicly coming forward with his evidence. After witnessing how some of you behaved like animals, I will never reveal who gave me the info.

I spent several weeks promoting this coin for FREE and making money for other people, and I was the ONLY person organizing PR for BlackCoin when everyone else had no clue what to do. Deal with the fact it was ME that took BC from 1600 sat to 90,000 sat in less than 3 weeks. And like children, or better yet like goldfish you quickly forgot who got you here. You naively thought by raising $30,000 for a PR firm BlackCoin would magically go the the moon, and you foolishly thought you didn't need my "services" anymore. And when I warned everyone that hiring a PR firm for $30,000 was a waste of money, you claimed I was "jealous" because I was no longer in the "spotlight". How is the PR firm working out for you now? You had a press release on the WSJ website, what did that do for BC? You are already in your second month of the 3 month contract, and you had one press release that had no effect whatsoever. You idiots paid $30,000 for press releases when I was doing it for free and getting you better results. How could you expect a firm that had no fucking clue about the mechanics of cryptocurrency  be able to represent a cryptocurrency community?

I find it completely IRONIC many of you are now rambling on about price manipulation when I told you about this several weeks ago. I was dismissed as being a conspiracy theorist and/or a liar, but now all of a sudden when the price doesn't go up BlackCoin is being manipulated? Oh really? I want each and every one of you to take a look in the mirror, because the person to blame for BC not going up in price is you. I gave you an option that would have had us on the path to #1, and you decided to go with Soepkip, the Foundation, and the overpaid PR firm. Now deal with the decision you made and fuck off.

Say goodbye to your $30,000 you will not see any results from it. If you continue to leave everything as is, the price of BC will ping - pong up and down for a few more weeks until people get fed up and just begin dumping.

It is time to face reality. BlackCoin price is either a reflection on how investors feel about the coin or it is being manipulated. But after weeks of positive news and being the top 5 coin on Mintpal for over 2 months, the price has not come close to it's all time high. Now you have to start asking yourself why? Stop lying to yourself about the quiet before the storm, or if you just hold long enough things will get better. The MintCoin community tried the same approach and we all know what happened with that.

Now proceed with posting your asinine FUD about me....

I've followed your posts since day one. Day one can be a very confusing term here in cryptoland, but for the sake of this post it's pretty straightforward. Personally I was here since day 2 (TWO) for the BC launch. I valiantly mined with my single 290 and even bought some more after the fact. I messed up and made some mistakes in trading, but im still here and will continue to be until the end. However, one of the things I don't remember about the amazing beginnings of this coin is you...

You seemed to appear out of thin air like an extra dryer sheet unwillingly glued to the bottom of the box, it wasn't your destiny to be here, but no one was complaining. You had some great ideas, and as skeptical as I was, I... kind of believed you. When things started to get out of hand you showed your true colors just like Phil Collins, you were an "easy lover" at first and once all was said and done you were still flailing your arms begging everyone to "take a look at me now".

It's truly great that you were able to bump the price of BC to such great heights. While this was an amazing achievement (for all we know) remember that there were other legends with similar achievements. Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in one game, Michael Bolton used to have hair, prodigy internet was cool at one point in time and I fucked two girls on prom night back in highschool. While the latter may seem i irrelevant, in the grand scheme of things your accomplishments fall directly in the way of Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen.

Thanks for being the shining example of everything wrong with alt's today. Iconic Expert, the Chrysler LeBaron at the upscale exotic car meet. We appreciate you coming, but its closing time. Just remember that every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

Bits of advice coming from a random nobody...

Blackcoin multipool :

1.) On the donation page, cleanup the part about being a terrible person. I'm content with being a terrible person, but the majority of new  users wouldn't find this to be welcoming nor amusing from a standpoint of mining. Phrase it as open and as welcoming as possible.

2.) The live chat feature is great, however the default username of "Blackie:####" is BAD. You're putting a negative connotation towards users of ethnicity, remove and replace with "BCMP User ####" or "Blackcoiner ####" anything but "Blackie####"

Claymore, you've done it again! I've mined my first MRO with your miner, thank you for your contributions to the community!

I DEMAND TRANSPARENCY from the foundation.  When will POS 2.0 come out?

I DEMAND TRANSPARENCY from the foundation.  Is there going to be an anon wallet for BC or was this just hype?

I DEMAND TRANSPARENCY from the foundation.  When is Legionare wallet comming out?  Dates please..

I DEMAND TRANSPARENCY from the foundation.  How many DEVs are working on new features and who are they?  facts please..

STOP FUCKING WITH INFORMATION BE CLEAR AND DELIVER ON TIME!

I have had enough shit from insider trading information being used against normal people who are not connected to the insider group!

A quick point to take here...

This isn't Apple you're making demands to, this is a virtual currency still very much in its infancy. If you are an investor / miner you are entitled to nothing but your speculative position in this currency's future value. Should you be a major contributor to the overall future of Blackcoin then please pardon me as I mean no offense. With that being said, your demands have been echoed throughout the community and the devs are currently working hard to deliver upon their promises. Should a month pass without update your concerns would be justified, however, right now your best course of action is to hold and believe in the overall vision of the coin. If that proves to be too much to ask then im sure a handful of users would be more than happy to purchase your stake in BC at current market prices. Take care

It's been at least a week or so now, is 13.12 still the definitive driver revision all things considered or should I wait for the next Catalyst release?

Well you are right, everyone has to start somewhere.
I'll lend you the coins. If you wish to use moonbux then send the collateral to him (I require 120%) or to directly me if you wish to avoid the 1% fee.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I have contacted monbux to setup escrow. As soon as I hear back I will let you know.

monbux contacted me and I have sent him the 1000BC collateral. Killerloop check your PM for additional information.

*3% Total interest on loan

3% weekly is not enough for my taste.

If you raise to 5% you get me.  Smiley

That's as high as im going to go period. Truth of the matter is I don't really need to do this, but I would like the BTC earlier so im willing to pay a little more. On top of that, I want to grow a trust relationship with the community because im in this for the long haul and I would like to make a name for myself here. As you, and everyone else here knows; everybody has to start somewhere!

If you, or anyone else here decides to take this loan, I will send a $5 Amazon gift card / code upon successful completion of the transaction just for taking a chance on me.
457  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.14 BTC Loan - Repaid in one week. on: May 28, 2014, 08:20:26 PM
Thanks for the replies, and I apologize for being wet behind the ears when it comes to this. Ill do my homework before posting here again.

With that being said, I'm still interested in a loan with the following conditions

*3% Total interest on loan
*1000 BC Collateral (2X BTC Value being loaned.)
*Escrow - monbox has offered his services for 1%

My coinbase transaction clears on Monday, if payment isn't made by the end of the week you keep collateral. Unless I keel over dead, you'll get your BTC back on Monday. Let me know if there are any takers, if you want to speak with me directly shoot me a PM and ill give you my phone number so we can talk in person. Thanks again everyone for your time!

I want to increase my holdings in a few alts, but what I don't want to do is wait for Coinbase. Placed my order tonight, and since I have a basic account (CB doesn't accept debit) it will take 4 business days.

I have the BTC equivalent in Blackcoin and NRS that I would be willing to use as collateral to a trusted and reputable member. I would prefer that you send first, this is my first trade here on the forum. Thanks for your time!
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 27, 2014, 10:09:13 PM
With no tweaking and just entering parameters in the bat file, I'm getting 3.2 Mh/s on 280x (Sapphire and HIS) and 2.6 on 7950s (Sapphire dual-x). Good stuff.

THIS IS THE BEST ADVICE IN THE THREAD

I was hashing at 2.3 with sphminer, upon the first release of the x11mod miner I was up to 2.5. After reading through the thread I tried the default settings and now im hashing away at 3.44 m/hs on a 290. Thanks everyone!

My 290 seems really slow compared to most running X11. Regardless, using this miner I went from 2.35 m/hs to 2.55 m/hs! Stats are incorrect with the miner, but my pool is accepting shares and reflecting the higher hashrate. Thanks for putting this out!
