His price is very high and im thinking todd feels worry if he might become another flop for chelsea. The team is still in contact with brighton at this moment but it seems like that brigton never will to decrease caicedo's price tag.
I think that the final decision gonna be made caused by we are even closer to the end of transfer season. Brighton already prepared an alternative player to be recruited once chelsea decides to buy caicedo with such price.

After yesterday's match between Manchester City for the community shield Arsenal has shown that if you want to frustrate City you need to have solid defence that would mark out the key players of their team and that's what Saliba did to Halland he marked him closely and cut out the connection between him and the Midfield and Halland couldn't get good passes fr m Debruyne, fantastic play from Arteta in reading the game and holding City to a penalty draw.
If you notice halland had, zero goal, less dribble, several position lost and few touches and because he's currently their key player in getting the goal when he's marked out it becomes difficult for City to score more and cause pressure on opposition teams, Arsenal really needed this win more because they've been in need of a trophy and this win would boost the moral of players against the start of a new season nextweek and if they continue with this zeal and hunger to win games they'll become very strong contenders and perform alot better than the previous season.

In my opinion, Andre Onana is the right option, which was made by Ten Hag after the departure of De Gea, Onana is a modern talent who can be said to be young for a goalkeeper. Then we can see that Andre Onana had a brilliant career while at Ajax, he became a goalkeeper who made a significant contribution in winning three trophies there and previously he had worked with Ten Hag. It's true, Man City is out of luck and Pep Guardiola looks less ambitious to win the Community Shield trophy. Arsenal on the other hand, really need this trophy, because this year they have not won any championship trophies. The game that ended in a penalty shoot-out cannot be taken as a measure of quality, I think it would be better to think of it as luck.

Man City recently communicated that they have no intention of selling Bernardo Silva to PSG and Barcelona as reported by Romano [1]. It was kinda obvious as after Mahrez and Gundogan's departure Bernardo Silva's playing chances will be very high. Man City are now looking forward to extend Silva's contract so it will be interesting to see what Silva feels about continuing at City. I predict a kinda short term contract as it was reported earlier that he showed an interest of moving to Spanish league so based on that I feel he is gonna sign up for a bit few years like 2-3 years.

I am not saying that Neymar is the best in the world alone but he is one of the best in the world. You cannot exclude him from the list of world's best. Maybe he doesn't have as much success as Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi in his long career, but he is still one of the best in the world. One can find a thousand reasons to dislike Neymar but we cannot dislike Neymar's football skills. Regardless of what happens in personal life, we usually judge them by their performance on the field. And in terms of field performance, Neymar is definitely one of the best in the world. Until now, no star has been injured as many times as Neymar has been injured and returned. Neymar's lackluster career is due to his injury problems.
Neymar is one of the best in his generation. The most interesting part of this moves is that they are still requesting for more good players and I wonder if they had plans to move all the European players to Saudi Arabia. I’m surprised Erik Ten just realized how competitive the premier league is, not every manager or player can cope or succeed after joining the EPL from other leagues, that is why it is a special league. Ronaldo said it when he first moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid, he said the la liga is very easy compared to the EPL and that it will be difficult for a la liga player to transition to the EPL.
This coming season will even be more interesting seeing the signings teams are making this summer. Liverpool to me have oversold their players in this transfer window and for the fact that the session is around the corner makes it more obvious that the club may be taking a rather hard route this time because just as you rightly said getting a replacement for those players will be a tough quest for Liverpool.
And if care is not taken, Liverpool may have a bad season again in this premiere leagues, even though the previous season also wasn't all that colourful for the club where their struggled to stay in the top 5 o the league table.
I think Liverpool are building something interesting this summer, after selling some of their first team players Jurgen Klopp have been active in this window and so far have been working on strengthening the midfield and attacking areas of the team. I think it will be a tough one this season for Guardiola and hos team because after losing two of their best men this summer with one player been replaced which is Kovasic replacing Iker Gundogan, I assumed Kovasic impact wouldn’t be as much as Gundogan was. The purpose of Pep Guardiola picking Erling Haaland to be his frontline attacker was because he knew the crucial challenges the Norway international would displayed towards his opponents. Erling Haaland is a goal machine and a top striker for the cityzens, perhaps he doesn't have a good footings on the ball. But with previous development and improvements, the striker starting to develop and improve in all rounds as a quality striker just like Harry Kane. We shouldn't compared the newly incoming Erling Haaland to Harry Kane, ofcourse the englishman have been in Tottenham Hotspur for years without lifting a title, the possible chances is his club are reluctant in performance and not ready to win a title yet.
Guardiola is someone with wide understanding of the game and what it takes to be a winner and a successful manager that is why it was so easy to identify a player like Erling Haaland to solve their attacking issues and help time win the champions league title last season but despite Haaland’s performance last season I still wouldn’t compare him to Harry Kane who is also a born scorer and English record breaking attacker who has stayed consistent and relevant for years in a top and tough league like the EPL. Maybe someday we would be able to make this comparison but for now they are miles away from each other. |

I saw some video bad finishing by Rasmus Hojlund while with Atalanta. Actually as a striker 32 times played and 9 goals seems like a not very good statistic. But it looks like Ten Hag has another view. Perhaps his young age is enough to make Ten Hag confident that he can change the bad views of football observers. Many people also hope that Rasmus Hojlund can be Haaland's competitor and be the solution to the attacker's problems. At the moment Ten Hag has several options so Rashford probably won't be exhausted and injured a lot.
I am not so sure why Rasmus Hojlund is tagged the second Erling Haaland, maybe it’s because of his statue and physic. Looking at the stats of both players there is a huge gap between them, I really hope Manchester United have not made a big mistake and gambled with this player because it will be disastrous if that is the case, hopefully they have finally found their man this time. |
