I don't underestimate Chelsea but I think Chelsea need a few more seasons to become a solid team whoever the coach builds a solid team is not easy especially if they rely on young players, Manchester City is a clear example of how Pep Guardiola builds a team and now we can see the resul. Another reason Chelsea isn't the only team to transform there are other teams that do the same like Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle meaning that the team that has better progress will get the first place I mean these 4 teams have the same chance.

Although they can perform well in some pre season matches, they may get some difficulties when they play against strong teams in EPL matches. There are many young players in Chelsea squad now, they need an adaptation. Moreover, there are many new players in the current Chelsea squad, their performance can be not really consistent enough when the new season begins.

This is all about the difference in pressure in those pre season games. They all know that nobody will tear them apart in the press when they lose a preparation game against a weaker team. It doesn't matter. The mental condition also doesn't matter because nothing is at risk unless they would lose a game like 0-7 against some second league team from I don't know where, but that usually doesn't happen. Salary is not the problem - after all, PSG would probably be able to pay part of Mbappe's salary (just like they are willing to pay part of Neymar's salary if he moves to another club - they want to get rid of him so badly). The problem is different - how do you lure Mbappe to Liverpool without the Champions League + the high probability that being in Liverpool Mbappe will lose a face-to-face duel to Haaland? Mbappe is no fool and would never take such a bad deal.

Mauricio Pochettino had a good start with Chelsea and they won the friendly match against Fulham last night, Nkunku and Thiago Silva scored two goals for Chelsea and they won the game with a 2-0 result however we know Fulham is not a strong team but still it was a good test for Pochettino and his team had good performance because they had much more control over the game and Fulham just one shot on target while Chelsea had six.

About Mbappe I think his first choice would be to sign for Real Madrid. He is even okay with staying for one last season with PSG now and then leave.

Chelsea and Liverpool can make their offers for Mbappe all they want but Mbappe wouldn't directly accept them without hearing from Real Madrid. Even if Real Madrid don't intervene now I feel like Mbappe will choose to stay at PSG for this season instead.

Exactly... thier pre-season matches are top notch for a start... Although I've observed they're still struggling with possession and game control - that qualities tbh don't just need any regular player, it' needs a team of old members with long standing experience...
I don't know why the team decided to remove almost every old player, with only Thiago left to reckon and coordinate the team like the good old days... Secondly, Felix should be given a little play time - great players aren't made from the bench - afterall, Chelsea's previous seasonal performance was really shaddy, making him a nutsack.lmao

Indeed the new season will be quite interesting for these three top teams and aslo for their strikers because alot of competition will now be in the league which means a lot of goals too and I don't want to say anything about the new Manchester united signing but I hope his has positive impact to the club, because one of the major problem Manchester united have been facing is acquiring a prolific strikers and I just hope hojlund turn out to be a competition for Harland.

Haaland, in this case there is no doubt, with the talent he has, being at Man City, the big club that won the UCL last season, big support from the whole team, and a coach who is very suitable and professional, surely Haaland can really play with very optimal.

Agree. Because of Chelsea and Liverpool don't join UCL in this season, I also doubt that Mbappe wants to move to these teams. Mbappe should prefer to join Real Madrid because they are participating in UCL and they are also always the favorite to win UCL. Although Man City looks to have the biggest chance to win again the UCL trophy, but Real Madrid may beat them if Mbappe becomes a part of Real Madrid squad. So, it is very clear that Real Madrid is the first option for Mbappe if he leaves PSG.

Haaland is still above both of them because Haaland has proven the quality he had in the previous season, which managed to bring Manchester City to a treble winner.

Chelsea don't need time as an excuse anymore, we don't have the new coach excuse as well because this time around, we signed a manager very early and he has had the preseason with the team and had lead them to the premier league summer series title. Pochettino can do the same with the premier league and other league competitions. Chelsea has let go of many players that was holding the club back so for now we don't have any excuse and we have to let go of the excuse mentality and play football. Having young players in the team isn't something to be worried about because Chelsea used a young team to win the champions league and they can do that with the premier league.

Chelsea squad adoption can be done while they're playing and winning games. The squad is well balance and other players will be coming in before the transfer markets ends. Chelsea need an immediate response to make clubs know they should be scared of them and by winning Liverpool at the start of the season is a good step to follow. Erling Haaland is a magnificent striker and he broke the all time record of Premier League with his first season in a league. What a talented and very goal-productive striker!

The next season will be important to re-assess Haaland quality and his ability to adapt to more challenges from defenders in Premier League. Other clubs, coaches and defenders, midfielders actually spent the last 12 months to make analyses about Haaland. Maybe they already found something and figured out tactics to reduce the danger of Haaland in a next season.

Chelsea has been slowly successfully improving the team so much compared with the last season. It's still a very long way to go to pochettino with chelsea. I don't put big expectation for this club to win EPL. Entering top 4 at the end of next season will be so good for this club caused by so many players in the club are still very young. So many improvements happened with chelsea.

Chelsea has a better strategy, teamwork, and stronger players due to their youth. I can define all of them have very good stamina. The draw against newcastle has proven if chelsea is now far better than last season.
The new players seem able to work together in building a very fast counter attack. I do like the new club of chelsea. Pochettino may be able to have a different result in EPL compared when he was still at totenham.

The purpose of Pep Guardiola picking Erling Haaland to be his frontline attacker was because he knew the crucial challenges the Norway international would displayed towards his opponents. Erling Haaland is a goal machine and a top striker for the cityzens, perhaps he doesn't have a good footings on the ball. But with previous development and improvements, the striker starting to develop and improve in all rounds as a quality striker just like Harry Kane. We shouldn't compared the newly incoming Erling Haaland to Harry Kane, ofcourse the englishman have been in Tottenham Hotspur for years without lifting a title, the possible chances is his club are reluctant in performance and not ready to win a title yet.

ETH is so mad to the club right now after the club has been facing some losses in a row. The first loss was against wrexham, madrid and then dortmund. The funniest thing i have ever seen was during the match against dortmund. Meguire again and again become the main actor that was triggering so many people to create another meme about him again. Megurie was doing some blunders which are affecting the performance of MU against dortmund. I don't know the reason ten hag didn't let meguire to go to the aston villa.

My social media feeds were filled with footage of Onana getting angry and scolding Maguire when he made a mistake that left Onana struggling with Dortmund's 1-on-1 chance that was saved and led to a corner.
Maguire always makes the same mistakes when trusted as one of the players on the pitch and the funny thing is that something like this is still tolerated by Ten Hag.

I don’t even care about Goalkeepers arranging their defence but that reaction from Onana to Harry Maguire was over the top and the only reason he did that was because it is Maguire. Well, at least as Blues fans, at least we hope that this club can play and compete at the top again. But to fight for the title is of course still too early for this newly reconstructed squad. Of course, the other team that Chelsea beat in pre-season, they certainly haven't shown their true game either. So you are right that for the time being we shouldn't be hasty in assessing this club.
