Even if it can't be used for cracking addresses, is this the next step in mining after ASICs?
With several generations of die-shrunk, parallelized, and optimized ASICS in between. thumbs up!

Well, it's time to start planning a graceful transition from bitcoin to qubitcoin. See https://gist.github.com/2355445 . Specifically, the section that starts "Example: re-define OP_NOP1 to be OP_Q_CHECKSIGVERIFY, using a quantum-resistant digital signature algorithm." ok, ok .. PS: I did see many "quantum-resistant" algos on arxiv, I looked over a bit, still, I cant swear I am sure they are 100% bulletproof, I never imagined we are so close of this threshold.

How come when I highlight my "cashout amount" It says a 10% fee has already been taken out? Why is this? 10%? What's this for exactly? Thought PPS was 5%, and I'm only using that on one miner anyway.
Probably it means that what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG.. ), the 10% for emergency cashout is already substracted from displayed number so you can see exactly what you will get in your account.

I'm back up and running on US2.
Im back on US1, however, the web frontend is showing funny statistics, probably parsing old stack or maybe working under heavy load.

Indeed, now mining server died, while webserver is working ok.

yeah, same. the miner, however, seems to work.

Wow, I think this was David Deutsch proposed proof for MWI of QM.

Ok... so the hashrate of the pool increased by 700 GH/s overnight. No idea where that came from and that's why things started getting backed up. I knew we were up against a hard limit on share processing and was the driving reason behind adding another DC to handle the load, but I didn't expect 700 GH/s overnight.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99954.0 is probably where the new hashes came from. I hope they respect this pool enough to give back via a donation. Kinda upsets me how so many waited till the.last minute to leech off of his 0% till the last freaking second before moving on. His 3% fee was implemented just overnight. Yeah, when hashrate spiked on EMC i checked main pools and saw ozcoin seem to have lost around 800 GHs..

1.8 Doesn't 1 BTC = $1 sounds lovely ? Wet dream..

Ah, ok, I missed those posts. Without enough info it looks like something is wrong, I thought its a rest from the last bug.. TY for info.

Hi Inaba, There is one issue with my account on EMC (username : geegee). I seem to be able to cashout slightly more BTC than I have mined: Is there any chance to get it fix it? Alternate I can cashout and then send difference to your address if you dont have time to look over. Cheers

So far I only had a pleasant experience with this guys. I only exchanged several ks with them, but they are faster than my ability to produce bitcoins ...

Seems like we're stuck in a rut.
Yeah, lol, 13h to solve a block.. Is it possible that pool is under some sort of attack? I didnt have the chance to study the block more deeply..

Yeah, I am headed down to the DC to see what's up. The mining server is still up but DNS won't resolve. You can mine to the IP address directly.
Weird, I'm using IP in configuration to make sure getwork resolves fast but I had no activity in stats after web page went down.
