441  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: October 17, 2017, 11:16:46 AM
Hello Lutpin, thank you for the payment as usual.

I will be leaving the campaign now. Never had any problems with it, and everything went well, but I will try to join another project now.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 16, 2017, 03:12:23 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Sweden is far ahead most countries in their way to become the first cashless country. If I'm not mistaken some of their banks don't even operate with cash anymore. That is probably normal since the majority of its citizens use bank cards anyway, so why use money. I wonder thy they haven't launched their crypto coin as well, since there are so many countries doing it now.
443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [UPDATED LIST] Your Favorite Crypto Websites on: October 16, 2017, 03:04:39 PM
Hey aren't you forgetting YouTube channels there? There are some very good channels that provide a good source of information. I can contribute with some, if you want to list them as well. As for Research sites, I mainly use the ones you already have there, but sometimes I also use this one:

444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: October 16, 2017, 02:57:57 PM
I think now it should be a good time to buy it. The hard fork, byzantium, went well so ethereum price could go up now. They seem to be entering a quite stable phase now, as their next hard fork will only occur in 2018. Ether is always a nice coin to look at. They have a few emerging competitors, like NEO and Waves, but I don't think they will lose their lead anytime soon, because they've been around for quite a while, and are proving to be a solid crypto so far.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Confused about upcoming Bitcoin fork on: October 16, 2017, 02:51:29 PM
To get free Bitcoin "gold", one just need to keep Bitcoins in exchange? Like for exemple did Kraken.com last time give Bitcoin Cash to all those who had Bitcoins? Relatively new in this world so don't know what happened in last fork. Or one need to keep them in particular bitcoin wallet to get free gold?

You shouldn't really hold your bitcoins in a exchange in order to get bitcoingold, because you simply don't know if the exchange will accept the new coin or not. With bitcoin cash I think things went well for most users, but those that did not hold their private keys were at risk of net getting any coins for the fork. I think you should transfer your coins to a wallet, where you own your private keys. This way you know you will get the bgold for sure.

I just want to learn that when this Bitcoin Gold will be available for Buying and Seling on the markets such as Bittrex and Poloniex.

I don't think they have announced it yet. Maybe you should try to see on the bgold website, what exchanges already support them. Last time I checked, those two weren't there yet. Not saying they wont list it, but right now, we don't know if they will.
446  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: October 16, 2017, 02:48:03 PM
Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.

I never used dating sites, but I do see a lot of them out there. A dating site is a social site, so you can try to compare it to facebook but with a much focused target, so less clients. I don't think you pay to use the site, so it's value will come from advertising. We all know that Facebook earns millions in advertising, but we can't expect a dating site to earn as much, since it has less customers.

It's really hard to tell, whether a a gambling site or a sating site will be more profitable. It all depends on its user base. If I try to imagine a gambling site and a dating site, with the same user base, I think the gambling site would earn more money, simply because advertisement in a dating site is probably not that expensive. But this is just my opinion, I have no idea how much money a gambling site or a dating site can generate.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: TIL Bitcoin is NOT open source software on: October 15, 2017, 04:51:55 PM
I think bitcoin is one of the most secure and stable crypto currencies out there. Bitcoin is not number 1 just because it was the first to appear. We never have any major issues with it, and I trust the dev team that is working on it. Things that are done, and fixes that are done, need to be "approved" by the community by showing their support of use, and I think it should continue like that. It looks like that guy suggest that bitcoin development should be handled by a private company or something like that, but I don't agree with it.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: October 15, 2017, 04:42:53 PM
[Edited to make it more understandable question]
What if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency?, What will happen to our world?, What is the effect of every nation's or every country economy?, It can make people's unite each other?Any opinion. Cheesy

I don't know if that's a good thing, or if it will ever happen. Take a look to England, even when they were in Euro, they did not adopt the coin, because the british pound was stronger and they would lose power if they did it. They are even getting out of European Union all together. Powerful countries don't want that to happen, so I don't think we will ever see a global currency that is backed by governments. We might have bitcoin being used all around the world, but that is different.
449  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 04:34:24 PM
Is there any Supermarket or Moles Accept Bitcoin near you ?

Not that I'm aware off. I don't think bitcoin does will in supermarkets right now, because a transaction takes some time to process, and the fee is high for small buys. On the other hand real estate owners support to bitcoin is increasing, and more expensive houses are being bought using bitcoin. These type of buys seem to work well for bitcoin, and it removes the interference from banks in the process, which is great.
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you planning till November Harfork?? on: October 15, 2017, 04:27:10 PM
november? i thought the fork will happen on october 25  Huh

Two hard forks are supposed to happen. One in October 25, that will give birth to bitcoingold, and then the segwit2x hard fork, that is suppose to happen in November. I've read some rumors that the hard fork in November might not even happen at all, because there are some pools and exchanges withdrawing their support for this fork, or the alt that should result from it.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 14, 2017, 06:43:57 PM
And what I think is, it depends on you totally. You have to decide whether you want a safest investment or you can play with risks and get some more profits. It is sure that gold is much safer than bitcoin in every regard but the profit ratio as per time of bitcoin is so much higher than gold. Risks are there too. Still you are the deciding factor.

I understand what you are saying about risks, but the only risk for bitcoin, is that it will eventually have to fight against governments and banks. If you only look at it from a technological point of view, bitcoins makes much more sense than gold, because it gets it's key features and improves them. Bitcoin is scarce just like gold, but it does not have any of the storage inconvenient gold has. It allows for easy payments, just like currency, and gold does not allow that. It allows all of that in fast transactions just like visa (or it will allow that in the future), and finally it's much easier to get, because it's digital (not talking about mining difficulty here, just comfort of use). So bitcoin is like gold 3.0, so of course I prefer bitcoin to gold. Of course banks don't like, and governments don't like, so there is some risk because of that, but bitcoin is way better than gold.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government regulation of bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 06:11:24 PM
whether government regulation is crucial to bitcoin survival, will it have a positive or even negative impact. What do you think ?

It depends on how the regulations are done. This is a new technology, so governments need to regulate it without completely destroying it's potencial for growth. If they do that, then people won't accept it and will start using crypto in hiding. This is exactly what governments want to prevent when they attempt to regulate something, otherwise it might completely backfire.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do crypto sites have most of their funds in fiat money? on: October 14, 2017, 06:03:05 PM
It's hard to know. I thought about that as well, and what you are saying makes sense, but there is another point of view that you are missing out.
Let's say they hold all their funds in crypto. The swing is good for them as well, and keeping payments shouldn't matter of course, but the thing is, why wouldn't they drop payments even if they kept all their funds in crypto? We are still not used to attribute value to bitcoin itself. We see campaign payments, and stuff to buy, and all of us, or at least most of us, see how much that is worth in fiat.

I think campaigns do the same. Let's imagine BTC was now worth $500K, do you really think you should be paid at the current rates? This would be a huge payment for the support we are giving, and we would be completely overpaid if the post rates didn't drop.
Or if that is hard for you to imagine, let's say a coffee mug is worth 0.0008 BTC (a little over $4). You were ok in buying that mug, but the BTC is now worth 10x more. Wouldn't you say that paying $40 for that mug would be to much? Even if we were all handling just crypto, you would probably think that the merchant should update their price. That's what campaigns do I guess.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Man Sold It All For This One Thing and Made Hundreds of Dollars Overnight on: October 14, 2017, 05:50:57 PM
That guy is just crazy. He is definitely upset because he apparently had a great chance and throw itall away when he initially sold his coins. He then made another mistake on Doge, and he is still trying to get something out of it. Bitcoins should rise, so he will probably do well, but he is putting is family through so much pressure that this makes no sense, even if he succeeds. He should invest but not like this. This guy is a gambler, and has serious gambling problems, he should get professional help.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being regulated in a country. on: October 11, 2017, 10:37:53 AM
Being that the government have no control over cryptocurrencies as they are fully decentralized, can bitcoin be regulated in a country?

I don't think ti can be entirely regulated, but they can be self regulated. For instance let's say a country asks or licenses for crypto exchanges to operate. We can then just use those exchanges, and not try to go over this, and use unregulated exchanges. We ca still do it, but I don't think we would help anyone by doing it. So if governments create rules that don't suffocate bitcoin, we could accept them and everyone would be happy. If they go to far, we can just chose to ignore them, because bitcoin allows that.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: October 11, 2017, 10:34:08 AM
It is a long shot. Which country will declare Bitcoin as a national currency? In order to do that, they need to mint Bitcoin metal coins and Bitcoin banknotes. And it will be very difficult, since Bitcoin is a digital asset. Another issue is the availability of the internet.

The difficulty is not whether there will be access to the Internet. The difficulty is that this currency can not be predicted and controlled. For this reason, bitcoin can not become a national currency. The economy is not ready for this

I agree with you and to be honest I don't even think bitcoin will ever attempt on being that. It simply wasn't made to be a national currency, because it's suppose to be decentralized, and not controlled by any government. To be national, is to be centralized and controlled, and bitcoin will never be that. So I guess that bitcoin can attempt to become global decentralized currency, that is much better than to be a national currency.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy altcoin on: October 11, 2017, 10:30:53 AM
As i seen there is lots of altcoin being dumped for low value because of bitcoin fork happening on oct 25 (still not confirmed) so everyone selling altcoins and converting to bitcoin and keeping it in private key holding wallet hope of getting Bitcoingold (Not confirmed by any source ) . So people may be fooled in the name of bitcoingold free coin so proper strtegist right time to buy some good altcoins.

Yes you could do that, because at least the most reliable altcoins, like ethereum, dash, zcash, maybe neo, will probably rise again after the fork I guess people will just sell their bgold, and then invest on those alts again because they are at a low price. I think it's probably to soon to do it now though, because we are still a couple of weeks away from the first fork, so the alts will probably drop even further, so maybe there is not point in buying them now. You should be careful in buyin ethereum though, because bgold is actually trying to compete with them I guess, although I don't think they will  be able to do it.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 11, 2017, 10:23:20 AM
You are doing it right. Holding is stupidity. Look I bought Siacoin at 600 sats now its 100 or in 90 sats? They said Hold, but look I lose 500%
Rule of the thumb, if theres an upcoming price rally for BTC. Sell all your alts, and expect a huge dumps everyday.

Once Bitcoin reached the top, sell all your BTC to USDT. Or you can play swing trading with alts.

With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?

when people normally say hold, they refer it to holding bitcoin, and not alts, or at least no the shitty ones that their only purpose is to get pumped and dumped. If you go after those coins, then I say trade them to the best of your ability because that's why they are here for. When it comes to bitcoin, I think its completely different, or it should be if you see bitcoin as a future decentralized currency. Is you just see it as a trading asset, and as a way of getting profit, then go ahead and buy and sell.
I want to use bitcoin as an decentralized global currency, and for that I want stability in it's price, and that's why I prefer to buy and hold. But again, I only say that for bitcoin, and not other coins.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 10, 2017, 10:10:14 AM

I won't see that as a ban to bitcoin. They are trying to regulate it as anyone else. I also read on cointelegraph that the Moscow stock exchange will allow it's users to trade cryptocurrenices, so the government is probably just trying to get crypto into safe environments they can control. Maybe this is their way of regulating the market, so I'm ok with it. They could just ask for licenses from crypto exchanges, but I guess they prefer this method.

Anyway if it ever gets to the Moscow stock exchange, that is right now the biggest exchange group in Russia, these are good news for digital currencies, so those "ban news" don't really bother me.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GOLD - A well thought Scam? on: October 10, 2017, 10:03:20 AM
Are you sure bitcoin gold has no replay protection? I kept hearing from every sources I come across that bgold has replay protection, and that it will be just a normal fork like bcash was. The fork that has no replay protections is the segwit2x fork, but that one will onle happen in November. As usual I will take my time to analyze all these things. Don't know if it is a scam or not. If it gets safe to claim them I will do it, and then I will just sell them if they ever get listed on exchanges, so I'm not really worried about this.
