1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: November 15, 2018, 01:40:58 PM
Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?

Of course I still gamble. It's not just for them money, I enjoy doing it. And to be honest it all depends on where you gamble.
If you go for sports betting for example, you can actually have some profit.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Betting Competition $6000 in Prizes Sponsor: Betking.io (Discussion Thread) on: November 10, 2018, 11:38:31 AM
I'm glad we are having a third edition. Manage to won around $380 on this one (received all prizes already) and that means a lot to me.
I'm really enjoying this competition and betting at BetKing.

As for new players and ways to promote this competition, so we can continue to have it I don't really know what to do. I can speak to friends, and I will continue wearing BetKing sig, an already voted for them on the threads available in this forum (no reason not to really, since I'm enjoying betting with them).

I agree with buwaytress, it would be great to have those forum tipsters joining. To be honest I have no idea why they didn't do it already.
It's actually a good challenge for them, and a way for them to promote themselves even further.

Really stressful competition. I guess that it's in a good way, but stressful nevertheless.

Patiently waiting for the next edition!

I would like to receive my monthly prize in my main account "Bolt", and the Weekly prize in the usual account "BoltB".
Thank you.

Just stop by to wish everyone good luck for this last week. Third week was good for me, and for sure by best week so far, since I first joined this competition. I think this last one will be even more competitive, judging from the better ROI% players are having (patt0, MapTWO and now DarkStar2) keep showing two digit profit results. That's amazing! Good luck!

I continue to be a little busy later, but I always come back to this thread every time I can. Finished reviewing the few posts here, and will continue to do so until I ran out of merit to give.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is It Advisable To Follow TrollBox During Day Trading? on: October 30, 2018, 10:30:20 AM
For me, I will not advise anybody to always follow the TrollBox to chosen a coin or token to trade on at any point in time when a suggestion is raised to trade on a particular coin because of a price rise. So many pumping companies or traders use it to do pump and dump and at the end, you will fall victim. It has happened to me when I was still a learner. A coin was suggested in the TrollBox and I invested on the coin that day to trade on and before I knew,  the coin went down in price. The implication of this is that you will have to wait for a longer time before you can sell which you were not planning to do initially. This will made you get stuck in the market if you don't want to lose money.

Sometimes, If you are smart enough you can be a winner for that day. It is not always, the risk is very high in following TrollBox in trading. This is common in hitbtc exchange.

I will like to to know your experience if you have been following TrollBox during trading.

I completely agree with you, and I never even look at TrollBox. For me I see that as simple spam, and I only focus my trading sessions on technical analysis.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lending Coins or tokens are the riskiest to trade on or invest in on: October 30, 2018, 10:28:07 AM
Since I have ventured into crypto business, I have not seen any lending coin or token that have lasted for more than a year. They are the riskiest coin or token to trade on or invest in. I have lost a reasonable among of money trading and investing in them. In one way or the other, they have affected the blockchain technology advancement. I have made up my mind not to invest in them any more. I will rather trade on good coin or token that is already doing well or promising coins that are doing.
The reason a lot of persons used to fall victim is that they want to make a fast money. Honestly, that was my intention and in the long run, I was hurt by losing a lot of money. This has really hurt some persons and they have made up their mind not to invest into the crypto projects or trade on anyone. This has affected mass adoption too.
My suggestion is that if there is a way to abolish Lending coin or token by SEC, that will be great. You can share your experience here and what you feel about this.

I agree with you, but what about lending features on exchanges, like those offered on poloniex for example. I used it a few times, and never had problems with it. Do you think that's risky as well?

Great post, I've added it to my list.
Thanks

That' quite interesting, thanks for sharing.

I only read this once, and I still need to follow through your tutorial about zcodesystem since identifying that sharp bettor moves is a big part of this system. I have one question though. From your experience how hard it is to find at least 1 game per day, that fits all these rules?

There is a competition here in the forum, and I guess I will put it to the test there, but it would be important for me to be able to make at least one bet per day. Do you think this is doable?

By the way, here is the competition I was talking about

I'm guessing that with this system, plus some prizes (if this works), it will certainly be impossible to lose money.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets fight the FUD together on: September 23, 2018, 10:30:39 AM
OP is right. This technology will just keep evolving from its current form. A lot of current users like me are still annoyed with the pains when using bitcoin but it will be solved in the future and forgotten and we, the true holders will witness its evolution.

I think that is exactly the point, and I can't stop stressing that out, every time someone complains about bitcoin.
This is still not a final product and is still evolving as we speak. We are all pioneers in this, so it's perfectly normal for all these hiccups along the way. It's really doesn't remove my trust in the future of bitcoin.

Just registered, thanks for the reminder!

I'm probably interested in that high roller version you've mentioned.
Also, since all entries are independent of each other, will I be able to join with one "high roller account" and a "normal one"?

Count me in with the previous accounts and you can add another entry (Bolt1)
I will continue to use all incentives as well.

Really enjoyed participating, hope it will be as good as the first one!

Hi, I have a question about the daily prizes.
Since I'm wearing sig, avatar and pm, and decided to receive my daily prizes as bonus betting balance. I've created a new account and have been receiving my prizes there.

I have already receive 3 prizes so far, and I'm now waiting to receive my 4th prize (from the 27th August). I have already made bets equivalent to 4 times the first prize, and since wagering requirements are only 3 times the prize value, I would like to know what are my "withdrawal options" right now:

- Can I withdraw the equivalent to the first prize? (since I've already wagered more than 3 times that prize value)
- Can I withdraw the equivalent to the first prize, plus some profit, leaving the account with a balance equal to my other prizes (that I still need to wager).
- Can I only withdraw funds after all wagering has been done for that account? (right now I won 4 prizes, so $120 wagering needed, and I've already done $40, so still $80 missing).

Also, I'm still waiting on the prize from the 27th August.

Loving this competition so far. Congrats for all the work everyone has been putting into this!
Also really I'm loving betting at BetKing so far. I was still missing directbet, but now I'm happy with what I'm getting so far.

By the way guys, I've decided to post a link on my own.
I'm currently participating in a Betting Competition, sponsored by BetKing.io. I've already won a few prizes, and they have really great ones. For those who like Sports Betting, I think this competition is a must try.

Hi steve, just reviewed your post, thanks for sharing it.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets fight the FUD together on: August 26, 2018, 09:40:21 AM
We shouldn't need to see FUDs as a threat to the community. It is sometimes useful for us investors to buy at a low price. That is the way our markets cycles so we need it sometimes but not always.

Well, it's an interesting thought and I can't say I totally disagree with it. The only problem is, that to much of it could reduce the level of trust in the markets and for bitcoin at least, I don't want it to just be used as a form of investment. I actually want it to be used as a way of payment. For that to happen, we can't have to much FUD or low levels of trust.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTS BOOK RANKINGS ~ COMPLETELY USER GENERATED on: August 26, 2018, 09:29:59 AM

I just want people to check other sites like rush and give it a chance , this way maybe nitrogen will lower their margin more to compete with rush

competition between sites should allow players to have better odds in the future since all the sites will compete to get the players

I totally agree with you on this part and I will probably try bitcoinrush as well. A lot of new bookies are emerging these days, so I think competition between sites will definitely force them to give us a better service.

Right now I'm trying Betking.io. I know I'm wearing their sig etc, but that's only because I'm participating in their competition and that makes their prizes better. I'm only voting for them now, because they are one of those "new bookies" emerging out there, and they deserve my support.

Also their owner seems very serious about making their service better and more competitive. It's easy to see that on this latest post they've made, where once again they've showed commitment in improving their odds and adding more markets against the competition.

About the site itself, the odds are not that bad in my opinion. They can definitely compete with nitrogen and sportsbet.io. I agree they are a little behind from bitcoinrush from what I've seen lately, but I'm really loving their competition (I was already participating in it, when it was sponsored by directbet), and like I said before they are showing commitment in getting their odds even better. Also, they have a great variety of markets and betting options for those markets.

For those reasons I recommend them, and they deserve a solid 4.5.
I will have no problem in giving them a 5 in the future if their odds get even better.

EDIT: adding link to the post I've mentioned https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4854169.msg44656607#msg44656607

Confirming that I've already received my Daily Prizes Challenges!
Thanks a lot BetKing and competition managers for giving us such a great contest.

I've already made a few bets with the prize money, but I would like to know if there are any time limits for fulfilling the wagering requirements. I'm assuming there isn't because I didn't found any about that on the competition rules.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Betting Competition $2000 in Prizes Sponsor: Betking.io (Discussion Thread) on: August 23, 2018, 09:25:40 PM
I've created the new account.
BetKing username: BoltB

I would like to get my Daily Challenge prize there.
Thank you in advance.
