441  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This post is for those that think they missed the boat on: September 12, 2017, 05:31:50 AM
Don't worry or be sad, there is still much room for growth in crypto-currencies that's a fact!

It's easy to tell yourself, "I wish I would have gotten into Bitcoin earlier so I could be rich!" but friends that is flawed thinking. You see, people that are wealthy today are wealthy for many reasons. These people were at the right place at the right time, had knowledge of markets, patience and discipline to sit on their investments through the many ups and downs.

It was extremely difficult and rare for early Bitcoin adopters to make it all the way to 2017 without selling their holdings. When Bitcoin was worth fractions of a penny, do you know how hard it was to not sell when Bitcoin was all of a sudden worth $1? If you had 100,000 Bitcoins, you would most likely sell most if not all of your coins for $100,000 because who would have thought BTC would be worth more than a dollar?

What about when Bitcoin was worth $100? Do you know how hard it was for people to not sell their stash then? If you had 5000 Bitcoins, you were now worth $500,000!

The point is, when you sit and regret you miss out on the many opportunities right infront of you. If you knew Bitcoin was going to be worth $50,000 in the near future would you be sitting and regretting? Or would you try and make as much money as possible to get 10x return on every dollar you invested?

Most of the large Bitcoin holders today were already wealthy when they got into Bitcoin, and had the capital to speculate on Bitcoin to hold for the long term.

So if you're broke today with no Bitcoins, it does NOT matter. Wealth can come at any time, you just have to position yourself to seize the right opportunities. You could win the lottery, find yourself in a profitable business venture, receive an inheritance you NEVER know. Then you can just buy Bitcoins.  Grin

Don't chase only Bitcoins: Chase Assets and Capital, then invest wisely. Good luck!
The boat is not that far the dock. Regret is a luxury that we do not have. We continue forward we invest, we analyze, and with fortitude we continue to make money.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best youtubechannels and twitteraccs for trading on: September 11, 2017, 12:32:55 PM
Please recommend some youtubechannels for tradinginformations (how to read charts, indicators and...) and twitteraccs for signals, thank you!
One of those people you should follow is a guy named Jerry Banfield, I think he is one of the best guys I have seen or read about that knows a lot about cryptocurrencies, you can find him on youtube just search his name and you’d be good.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: September 11, 2017, 12:01:31 PM
Please help me make clear idea about how good bitcoin is to be a digital asset as we become old in the future, and this served as our lifetime asset same as pension when your retire from your current job at the age of 60.
The idea of you using bitcoin as a lifetime asset I would say is a crazy idea, for God’s sake this stuff just came up some years ago and some people are already planning to pump their life savings into it to give them profit. That’s insane
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: September 11, 2017, 11:26:33 AM

1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.
Bitcoin has been one of the most profitable ways to invest in for the past few months and it has been breaking many barriers and leading the way for cryptocurrencies. Reasons: Fast Profit rate, security is guaranteed, fast and cheap transactions.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: September 11, 2017, 10:41:08 AM
Hi traders!
Does somebody here do trading in stock market and also trading in bitcoin? Which is more profitable and safe?
Thanks ahead!
That’s very hard to talk about, the stock market is my preferred destination though, because the market is very stable and very profitable in the long run if you get good brokers to manage your account for you.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 11, 2017, 09:07:58 AM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
That pattern of dealing isn’t the right one to be one, though if you’re buying it is great and would pay off one day but you shouldn’t keep on buying every time, you should at least some times so that you can be proud that you made some profit in case the market starts going against you.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: September 09, 2017, 11:45:35 AM
Weeks ago, I am discussing Bitcoin to my sister and my future brother-in-law (then) When they got married recently, both of them were unemployed and have been trying to get a job immediately after their marriage. Up until now they have no luck. My sister then decided to talk to me about how do I earn Bitcoins. I gladly explained it to her and then she decided to do it too. She was so happy that she is already earning bitcoin and had some extra budget while they are both unemployed. And now, she is so eager to learn more how to earn more coins.

Being unemployed drove her into engaging to Bitcoins. Maybe some people are like this. They grab Bitcoin when they are in need of money. And since that these people are now engaged in Bitcoin, I am sure that they will stay in Bitcoin and treat it as an investment even though they will have a decent paying jobs in the future.
Not really, there are lots of reason why people invest their time and money in the bitcoin business, and you cant just come and say that ti was unemployment that brought people into the market, there are lots of reasons for people investing in it.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost around 5BTC in 2013... Time to start again on: September 09, 2017, 11:05:45 AM
So back in 2012 / 2013 I was quite involved with the Crypto scene, and invested in a mining rig (good old days!) After around a year or so, I managed to mine LTC, trade BTC etc and had somewhere in the region of 5BTC. As the prices all started to plummet, I turned the rig to a desktop computer and stupidly left all of my coins in Cryptsy. Easily done for someone who understood the basic fundamentals of the Crypto world, but not all of the security to go with it.

I managed to recover about 0.2BTC from old wallets etc, and although kicking myself that I could have a life changing amount of money, I've come to a conclusion that I just need to build a bridge and start again!

My question to you all is have you ever experienced anything like this? How did you find the motivation to start again? And what do you think are the best ways nowadays (as i'm 4 years out of touch) at getting back to that milestone of 1BTC in my wallet?

Thanks,
Just ask you a simple question, why did you lose your 5 bitcoin. What was the reason? Did someone steal or hacked or you sell it out on a very low price and now you are telling us that you have lost 5 bitcoin in 2013. And if you or someone else has really lost his bitcoin then nothing to worry, because investing in coins Is like gambling. Some time you will win and sometime you will lose. Try again and you will succeed.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What services you wanna see with Bitcoin ? on: September 09, 2017, 10:34:45 AM
Movies ? gambling sites ? exchanges ? what kind of service you want to see involved with Bitcoin more ?
I really want to have a bitcoin ATM in my country where you can easily withdraw bitcoin from your e-wallet. And it could be great that malls will be accepting bitcoin where they can easily transact it like credit cards. And also in restaurants and school for tuition fees. By that time for sure bitcoin will be more popular and more people will love to have it. So the more demand, so is the price.
I would like your assistance in one matter. What do you mean by withdrawing bitcoins by ATMs. Bitcoin can be converted into fiat but we cannot have bitcoins in any physical form of its own.
I am looking forward to the use of bitcoins in all the services that we are currently availing in fiat.

Almost all kind services that is related to financial services as given by the paper money, like easily withdrawal, ATM machines, low cost transactions, etc. because if I want to use bitcoin for everything then I would also want to have and use it easily and comfortably.

The obstacles and hurdles will reduce the good effect of the bitcoin and may people dishearten whit the services provided by bitcoin.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: central banks and Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 04:19:29 PM
Hey,
I am right now a little bit researching about financial stability and monetary policy.
It seems that monetary policy through a central bank is pretty important for the global financial stability.
For example if there is a financial crisis, central banks try activly to stabilize the financial system.
If Bitcoin would replace fiat money and such a crisis would occur, wouldnt this lead to long term financial instability?

The central banks should have no business with the affairs of the market, they should mind their own affairs while the bitcoin wouldn’t interfere or meddle in their own affairs bitcoin was made for the world citizens.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: September 06, 2017, 03:46:04 PM
What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017?
There are tons of ways to make money, but I think the best way to make money is to invest in bitcoin mining, mining would be able to put much money into your pocket than any other method of earning would, though its expensive but its worth it.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: September 06, 2017, 02:48:47 PM
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Thanks

There are lots of ways to make money with btc, but we know that to make money also requires money, so if you’re ready to use your money to buy resources and other requirements you are never going to make money.
453  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitPay stands for many 1000 of shops. They are economic relevant users! on: September 06, 2017, 02:09:29 PM
BitPay should be noticed when they have a say what 'users' want.
They stand for voice of a huge merchant community watching the usability and risks of bitcoin's protocol.

If they 'say' it will influence many other merchants accepting or thinking of bitcoin.

Their business suffers from too high fees and LN or other 2nd layer scalings are yet no or no quick, safe options.

What do you users really want? Alts taking over here?
I guess that’s a great one at least bitcoin users can be assured that one day they would be able to pay for all their goods and services with the help of bitpay and other bitcoin payment processors, recently I was able to buy a domain with the help of bipay

There are lots of reasons to invest in bitcoin, firstly it is faster and easier to transact with, secondly the fees charged are relatively low,  and again it guarantees anonymity of every transaction going on in your wallet
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors That Make One Cryptocurrency Worth More Than Another on: September 06, 2017, 10:22:54 AM
From an economic standpoint, which factors make one cryptocurrency worth more than another?

1) current number of coins
2) maximum number of coins
3) rate of growth in the supply of coins
4) how many people/businesses accept it as a form of payment
5) total number of users
6) technical aspects of the protocol
7) number of exchanges that allow conversion to other cryptos or fiat currencies

Discuss.
There is nothing that makes any crypto currency higher than the other if not for the principle of demand and supply of money or any valuable when the demand for one crypto is higher than that of the other then surely the price for the more demanded one is going to increase
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: September 06, 2017, 08:27:50 AM
Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink
The cashless initiative is paying off though it has brought with it a lot of more frauds since there are lots of transactions that are now being done on the internet, fraudsters now have access to lots of information that can be cashed
457  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: September 06, 2017, 06:14:20 AM
Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.
They are both profitable it all depends on how much you market your business and how much your customers are enjoying it. You can keep making pennies while someone in the same field is making millions, its all about thinking and applying your senses

if you can see it in satoshi's just divide by 100,000,000
As simple as that. OP everything has been made clear to you, no point asking for more question or clarification. Take it or leave but if i am wrong the forum members who know better can correct me. Hope I am making sense.
