441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 28, 2023, 05:33:49 PM
Almost every gamblers notably those that make use of online Casino's for their gambling have the notion that except from a license owned casino they don't use any  casino without a license, which I think is a cautious thing to do.

But have been wondering and wanting to ask, does a license guarantees that a casino won't scam it's customer's going forward.

It doesn’t guarantee that casino won’t scam but it will give you a little bit peace of mind since the casino is regulated by a licensed provider which means you have a chance to file a case and other legal once you encounter a problem compared if you are playing on a casino that doesn’t have a license since you have no means to contact the owner once they decided to run.

License is a must now that there’s already a lot of established casino with licensed that offers a better service. Although there’s still casino that still committing selective scamming despite they have a license but it’s worst to choose casino without license because even casino with license commit scam too.

There’s no such 100% no scam guaranteed casino but there’s a lot of casino that is reliable for a long time that has a license which you can use as basis on deciding what casino to use.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It will save your capital more than you can imagine on: December 28, 2023, 04:53:19 PM
Learn to cut your loss, yes I mean it, the are so many rules and skills in trading which in other to succeed in trading you must utilize to the maximum, and one one them is learn to cut your loss if it's obvious that holding your position will do more harm tham good.
Most traders have fail to understand that in trading it's very important to keep your ego aside and admit when you are wrong, cut your loss early so that you can try again .

This is a common practice on trading which you can automatically do using the stop loss feature. Only dumb trader doesn’t use stop loss especially on crypto which price swing is always too frequent to happened.

It’s not really a big deal to stop loss if you knew how to trade properly because you typically set it on a price which is the sign when the trend doesn’t go your predicted outcome.
443  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 04:15:44 PM
I’m not sure if this question is already asked so just forward me the answer if there’s already existing one.

I’m not a regular Stake player but my concern is how do you deal with account that commit violation of terms such as bonus abuse? Since you are not affiliated with Stake, is there any incident that accounts was linked to the other one just because they use the bot? I’m referring to the potential connection of account with violation to regular gambler that both use the bot at the same time.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers, When Will You Sell? on: December 28, 2023, 04:06:47 PM
ONLY for HODLers please. PLease share when you'll be happy to sell.

You’re asking for hodlers while your question is for sellers. Hodlers don’t think about selling their token on specific price but rather they are aiming for holding as long as they can until they will need the investment money including profit. I become a holder before during 2018 dump and I never intend to sell my Bitcoin on specific price because I’m not uncertain on what price will exactly hit.

I just sell my token when Bitcoin hit the 50K level because that’s already more than x5 of my investment while I needed my money to purchase my current house property. I become a holder that time and right now I have fresh bacth of Bitcoin that I’m still holding without any price target in mind.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 03:09:01 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts. I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.

I doubt that. Casino operators usually monitors players account especially those who win unusually big. They will surely ask you for KYC once you started withdrawing your balance. Maybe you can withdraw part of your balance but not all since they will notice once there’s a frequent withdrawal on your account without any deposit made.

KYC is destined to be done on centralized casino because it's part of AML policy. It’s absurd to still play on centralized casino while you are not prepared to undergo on KYC because it just only mean that you avoiding what’s the purpose of KYC which activities the violates casino terms.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting on sports, which one to choose -110 or +110? on: December 28, 2023, 03:04:59 PM
So for sports bettors like me, I'm asking this question, which would do you think will make you profitable, -110 or +110?

Usually a match that offers this kind of odds involves both that has close stats. Bookmaker just consider a different aspect which favorite team has a slight advantage but they can be considered as close match. On game like this, I usually preferred the underdog since it’s still a close fight while the odds is above 2.0 which is the base odds.

The only time I will choose 1.9 is when I have a complete analysis to the favorite team. But game like soccer will makes me always choose an underdog with odds like this.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 27, 2023, 04:17:08 PM
I’m pretty sure that this is a made up story since that 28M car from rolls royce is the most expensive car which this car company ever made. If your “friend” really can buy this car then I’m pretty sure he came from rich family which doesn’t need an advice from you.

Also if I can buy that kind of car without any problem then I don’t need to invest on Bitcoin because the business/salary that gives me the money for purchasing that luxurious car is already enough for me to sustain my financial needs.

You are comparing buying a luxurious car to Bitcoin investment while it’s obvious that only people that is financially stable can do this kind of stuff. This story will be believable if you use cheap cars instead a luxurious car specifically the top of the line for this well known brand.
448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fraud on Marketplaces when selling a video card on: December 27, 2023, 03:24:51 PM

There is enough such scam in Russia, and large marketplaces like megamarket do not bear responsibility after receiving the goods, because they are couriers and not sellers. Most miners wrote that the buyer is a fool, because for this price he could buy this video card in a trusted store.

But this marketplace sells 4090 rtx with a good discount starting from $1000, and the miners know that this is a scam.

This is the danger of purchasing online that’s why COD(cash on delivery) is a very popular payment method in my country for item like this because you can’t guarantee that you will receive the right item especially expensive one upon delivery. Sometimes even the courier is the one stealing the items and change it to the cheap one since most of them is just  3rd party delivery service.

I hope the victim have a video record when he open the package or else it’s very hard to win this case since there’s a chance that the buyer itself change the item and want a refund while he still get the right item.
449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin - Contentment / Addiction on: December 27, 2023, 03:18:52 PM
At what degree of Bitcoin accumulation is one said to be contented, if keep wanting can it be termed addiction

Becoming a Bitcoin owner is one of the sweetest achievements a person will want.
In other to purchase this Bitcoin it is either we deploy strategies in getting it, might be by Dcaing or buying wholesomely from the DIP.

I don’t see the downside of being “addicted” to Bitcoin because it’s for investment purposes. I’m not sure either if addiction is the right term rather than being greedy on accumulating.

It’s an investment which means you should not set limit for your future gains. The only time you should set limit is if you are already all-in investments without money left for your daily needs or emergency funds but for an accumulation purposes then having no target amount won’t harm but rather beneficial in the future.

450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 27, 2023, 01:56:03 PM
I know that it's said that you should gamble the amount that you can afford to loose, but will you call it a true fun when you know that there's a higher probability of losing your bet?

You don’t know exactly the concept of gambling that’s you are confused like this to the term gamble what you can afford to lose. Gambling is not a source of income because it’s not a job or investment tool. Its purpose is for entertainment purposes only which you can get on the fun when you experience win in the game(not net profit but rather the bets that won). You will never feel the fun if you are counting your losses since most of gambling games has the house edge.

The best way to have fun on gambling is by celebrating when you win and charge the loss as payment to the temporary fun which gambling provides you. That’s why you should not gamble if you are not financially capable of wasting money for entertainment. It’s like drinking beer and smoking cigarettes, you don’t get any benefits on it but people keep doing it due to the inexplainable fun when doing it.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 27, 2023, 01:36:46 PM
but on one hand, I really think that it is not hard to quit gambling even when you are winning and not winning, but it is you who can't control yourself. Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet. Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
What do we have to say about this?

The problem on user like you that providing comment like this while it’s too obvious that you are not gambling personally didn’t know exactly how people with gambling experience feel.

I’m not a regular gambler that gambling in daily basis but I can’t take out of my system gambling even though I’m less exposed. I always find a way to play during my free time even once a week or a month. It’s very hard to completely stop gambling especially if you always saw any form of gambling in the web due to advertisement.
452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit withdrawal of 30k USD pending for 4 days on: December 26, 2023, 05:41:07 PM
What happened: Hey y'all, don't mean to sound impatient but I've requested a withdrawal 4 days ago and have just been told that Rollbit is waiting on "higher ups" to check my withdrawal. I'm not sure what a reasonable amount of time waiting would be for my withdrawal - so I'm writing here to keep things updated and public.

I mostly play evolution games with high amounts, I rage deposit whenever I lose with bigger amounts. This time, I deposited ~$19300 USD and requested a withdrawal of $30495. Normally, I contact support and the withdrawal processes within a few hours. Now I'm pending for 4 days and I've contacted support who tell me to just wait and cannot provide a timeframe for myself.

They probably checking your game records because they something suspicious on your account or else your withdrawal will be processed instantly. Are you availing bonus when you play? And do you have other account aside from Rollbit that you use to play same game at Rollbit?

These day, there’s a lot of cheater trying to take advantage of casino bonuses by doing bet on side using different casino account and play on same live table. If you are not doing this kind of trick then just wait for them to finish their own account check. Rollbit reps is active on solving case like this. Let’s see if he can help you once he notice your concern.
453  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: December 26, 2023, 05:22:04 PM

454  Economy / Gambling / Re: .com Bookmakers with GOOD first deposit bonus on: December 26, 2023, 05:01:09 PM
Ok, and how can bookie prove that he is doing match betting?
Today bookies can accuse for anything and take your money, cancel bets, etc as in their t&c is stated that they can do whatever they want.
I am doing this for more than 15 years and I could write a book about sportsbooks, bonus hunting, arbing, value betting, courtsiding, etc.

It’s very simple since match betting is technically using of casino bonuses such as free bet to take advantage to the casino, they can simply create 2 different account on different casino and place bet on both side which have a +EV then enjoy the bonus with risk free bet.

Bookie can easily confirm this since crypto casino usually use same bookie and they have connections to each other so that they can match players information and to check possible connections of all accounts from different casino. This is what most players that have a problem do.
455  Other / Meta / Re: Forum growth on: December 26, 2023, 04:51:48 PM
Why can't there be like a jackpot lottery for the forum every year and anyone who participate can win is something like that possible?

If you will provide the jackpot prize then why not? We have game and rounds on the gambling board which you can start your own forum lottery.

Forum is not a gambling site nor a foundation that gives money to the poor. There’s casino that offers this service which everyone here can freely join but if you are rich then you can start giving away part of your wealth through lottery.  Cheesy
456  Local / Pamilihan / Bingo Plus Discussion on: December 25, 2023, 04:49:39 PM

457  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Republic of Suriname is considering a national strategy with BTC on: December 25, 2023, 03:02:34 PM
I remember watching a Korean Movie called Narco-Saints that set on Suriname country. It’s about drug monopoly since the government in there is very corrupt and this movie is based in true story.

I’m not sure how this country evolved but with this kind of government which has a total control with its citizen, I think using Bitcoin will be strategically good for them. Again I’m not sure how drug monopoly status in there but I’m just worried Bitcoin will be use to do whatever shit they are doing.

BTW this is the movie I’m referring https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narco-Saints
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 25, 2023, 02:45:08 PM
There's a saying "Gamble responsibly". What do we think that saying means?
When we see "drink responsibly", what do we think it means?
It means we are allowed to drink (that's if you're up to the age of drinking in your region) but you should do it responsibly. Know your limit and don't go above it.
Not everyone can gamble responsibly by fulfilling their responsibilities. You may not take gambling seriously but there are many people like the one I mentioned who have lost everything in gambling. The brother I mentioned is a government employee and if he was satisfied with his salary he wouldn't have gambled mainly because his gambling aim was to earn a lot of money overnight. He is now burdened with debt due to his desire to earn huge amount of money overnight. Sometimes we need to learn from what happened to some people so that the same thing doesn't happen to us again. Hopefully the common gamblers have gained some understanding of the horrors of gambling addiction.

If the intention of this topic is to serve as lesson about how devastating gambling is then there’s a lot of worst incidents than this that involves much higher amount and some took their life due to their lose yet people still gambling. You know why? Because of the entertainment and hope to get a quick rich. There’s only few cases like you mention compared to normal gamblers that can still gamble responsibly. I doubt creating such a warning like this will discourage motivated gambler to stop gambling.

You’re right that not all people can gamble responsibly but it’s pretty common even on other aspect of life such as trading, investment and etc which people are bad on doing it.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 25, 2023, 01:25:47 PM
Now, in the local bet shop, why are there no securities? I know a local bet shop close to where I reside. There are no securities there and there are people who act strange and mentally unstable there. They could cause fights, noise, and cheat. So for other persons to feel safe betting there I think securities should be employed there.

I still didn’t see bet shop since it’s not available in my country or in my area but I assume it’s like a lottery outlet which people come to place bet then go with a slip. There’s nothing wrong for a having a security on this kind of area but owner is probably saving from additional labor cost since the facility is not typically use for stay of gamblers who wants to bet unlike physical casino that people spend a lot of time to play.

Also it’s not usual for a high roller to go on a bet shop now carrying huge sum of money just to bet. Typically people that use bet shop are those regular small gamblers. It’s very hard to determine who’s the high roller in there since their money is on their wallet.
460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could newbie ask their unsolved crypto related questions ? on: December 25, 2023, 12:06:02 PM
Recently I have registered my account and read a lot of sinior member post to increase knowledge about Bitcoin,Altcoin and crypto currency. But sometimes I face many unknown topics, short forms and words too for that reason I can't achieve deep knowledge and I stuck . Maximum time I solved those from Google and dictionary but not go in deep.so if I stuck any problem could I ask here please acknowledge me .

This is a common problem here since Bitcoin technicalities is pretty which even high rank member here can’t fully master Bitcoin technical because it’s for developers/coder area.

You should ask frequently here in beginners section but always use the search bar to find related topic before you start your own thread for your question if you can’t find related topic.

FOMO ,how it is interrupt treading ?

This is just some crypto slang on trading. This is not even related to Bitcoin technical. You will be familiarized on this kind of slang once you frequently read post here and understand how the word use in a sentence.
