444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in France: first legal decision directly related to Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2011, 07:39:14 AM
Half joking... let's just call Bitcoin a religion! Then, not only will it not be a money and subservient to the arbitrary rules of monies, but it will in fact be tax deductible!

Maybe it's the vodka talking =)

You can't make bitcoin illegal. That would violate my rights as a Coinstafarian.

The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. — Ron Paul

It has been so hot in Texas that George W. Bush has been waterboarding himself to keep cool.

Phoenix Rising makes it really easy to setup a backup pool. Set your timeout options and it will automatically change to a backup server or even restart phoenix.exe.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox: No SQL injection happened, switch to SHA-512, offline until 8:00 am GMT on: June 20, 2011, 03:20:03 AM
100-200 BTC + ~1000 USD stolen.  Doesn't seem too bad...

So.... could they, or someone, explain about the 200,000 -400,000 Bitcoins that was sold off, and drove the price down to 1 cent???

As far as I have gathered those transactions were internal to Mt. Gox and were never paid out. They weren't actual bitcoin transactions.
