Segwit is only creating an extented block (the segrated witness) to remove data (transactions signatures) from the orignal block to free some space. It has nothing to do with the speed of a transaction. Dash Instasend use the masternode network to validate 6 confirmations presto (in a matter of seconds) based on a quorum. Frankly, segwit is a weird tweak to increase the blockchain size without increasing the 1MB minable blocksize. sorry my bad I mean the lightning network.... will that hollow out a lot of the utility of dash? |

It does not matter, any thing that could return an % return guaranteed, would take the whole market in a matter of weeks.
there are no right "parameters".
Fact is you would not need to sell gunbot.
It just frustrates me to see people throwing their money away and false advertising.
I first ever started gunbot with 0.38 btc and after 45 days I had 0.98 btc . that is a fact . yes average out over time, there will be people loosing the same amount as you gained. Those gains were not created out of thin air unlike fiat, as there are a limited amount of BTC. Its zero sum |

Imagine this scenario: There are many people trading; some of them are bots, some of them are regular people daytrading and some of them are whales.. w/e you could include a massive amount of characters here for this purpose. The bot has certain strategies where you can modify the parameters, for example using BB strategy (bollinger bands) you can tell the bot to buy when its 0.1% lower than EMA for the bollinger bands percent that you consider and taking in consideration the 15 minute candle (which is usually the default); the bot will calculate and attempt to sell for the % that you set it up to look for after the EMA, for example, you could also use 0.1% for this one. If you are at work, the bot will do this trades without you looking at it, it will also take in consideration a spike, which is usually really hard to find manually, therefor, imagine that a coin goes for 3% increase of the EMA for just a few minutes, the bot took advantage of that. Now this means, this bot is not free money, you have to set up the right parameters to actually obtain these results, if you choose the wrong coin, you might have a bad time, you have to look for certain coins that are kind of stable and fluctuate in the same range, as Gunthar explained on the first post. This is an over simplification of what this bot can do. Nothing is free money, it requires study and your own reasoning in order to win money using this bot. I hope this helps. because selling at any time results in orders of magnitude loss several years later.
its hard to trade orders of magnitude profit over that time.
eg sell under $1, jumps over $1 forever, buy back in at $100, because you were waiting for it to drop under $1 again.
how can you trade that?
sell under 10K, jumps to 15K, never goes below 10K, you wait and have to buy back in at 50K or 100K.
how do you trade that....?

Segwit is locked in and it will activate on August 23 or thereabouts. Then according to the proponents of Segwit2x there will be a hard fork to 2mb blocks. They say it will happen on November but some are saying that its an optimistic time line.
If it could happen, maybe next year.
ok...I see....I gotta admit I kinda feel that we need 2MB blocks as a mix of on chain and off chain solutions, BCH has shown that a 8MB block is feasible....if nothing else.... BCash, aka Bitcoin Cash, aka Bitcoin ABC, has only shown the irony of how the market is not supporting big blocks, while their blockchain is mining blocks smaller than the 1MB blockchain. How dumb was that? Clearly nobody is supporting big blocks with real money. It would suck that the NYC goons go thought with the hardfork again on November. Thats 3 fucking Bitcoins listed on coinmarketcap, and they will cause a price crash. They will have to run for cover because the hate will be real. The people that want big blocks already has BCash, what's the point of a rushed hardfork in 3 months? They got a ton of hashrate (in theory) so we'll see what's up. well, yes, to an extent, but BCH does have some value x billion market cap ..... a smaller block change would indicate some value available to BTC, and I think utility. The BCH network has not collapsed due to code or block size problems. Not sure about centralization though. A small increase would take the wind out of the sales of BCH, silence some of Blockstream pet DEV theorists and make seg wit 2x independant fork moot. |

Your points make sense but they arent totally right. This product isnt gonna make you rich out of nothing but if used in the right way it will help you making money. As you said, since we cant predict a 100% future, chances of either a bot or a trader to be successfull are somehow the same. See this product a good tool for lazy/experienced traders (set your configs and let it run them) and also a good tool for who is just new into the cryptoworld, all to do is just find the right chart and run gunbot. About selling his product, well he is a programmer, an analyst and he knows about finance. This is his job and while at it, he is increasing experience on programming, analyzing, or like building a community and sustain it, face differents challenges which come from all the ecosystem surrounding gunbot, the list could carry on for pages. He is ofc getting paid for what he is doing and the fact that peeps are investing into gunbot are giving him the right motivation to go ahead with his project, improving his software with new features and strategies. I never spotted any ads claiming that gunbot will make u rich. This is a merchandise product as the crypto themselves. It is all about a bet after all it cannot return a profit above average market increase eg hodl of coin. if it could consistently you could exponentially leverage any % eg 0.5 0r 0.05% you want and take the ENTIRE market in a year or less. I would love some one to explain to me why I am wrong. |

Can some one code up or point to a website that allows you to cut out the non top 10, 20, 30 etc cyrptos by market cap, so you don't inflate the market cap by the long tail. Eg 1000 coins at 100 M each givens you 100B.....and 10,000 coins at 100M each givet you I T but its not really accurate and that's where we are heading.

i have to admit....the strength of iota is it solves the cost issues or micro transactions natively.....spam helps....essentially it democratizes the processing side on the network.
However I kinda wonder, if you can double spend if you can get far enough away from points on a tangle......and what the critical mass is when you don't need centralized servers to keep it integral

Renaming something, does not change the ability for say court or legislation to construe it the same....perhaps they could elaborate on what they think they mean, or maybe they have resiled from this claim since?
And often the form of consideration is not to much of an issue, or how it is recorded, but rather the value transfer and if it behaves in a manner of say a security, or some other valuable right or interest.
I think they are trying to say, its just a register of interests .... but is it not more, as you have the ability to assign the right or interest to another?

It's amazing how the market provides until the govt / reg has to destroy it. Btce was probably the best exchange out there...they never screwed a withdrawal or deposit once for me at least. I was wondering if there would be a way in future of haveing you funds protected by muti sig such that whe nyou buy sell level is reached, the key then signs on the funds .... I am pretty sure eth does this at the moment. ahhh decentralized exchanges when?  |

Looks like Filecoin is more like Sia and StorJ. Want to provide alternative to dropbox and google drive etc. SAFE is about that as well, but now more focused on a dedicated browser and domain registration and websites. After that they focus on Vaults from home again. So fully encrypted, decentralized storage network. So whats to stop storj to put a front end on that aggregates info in a browser style.....I mean thats what they kida already have by file storage, its not a huge step to do the front end bit. I really don't see what is left to maidsafe.....also why have storj and sia? been able to get product out the door. Maid safe simplify releases endless reports on how great they are doing and how many advances .... still no product that will pay me for my storage. Even if they do get a better a product .... people will have already installed storj or others ... |
